Worst service. It has a very rude, irresponsible and disrespectful manager. My package was misplaced and the people at this store did nothing to help me recover the package. Dont use this as a UPS Access Point location since it looks like the delivery confuses the UPS store with the residential building next door.This UPS store has the worst customer service I ever encountered. And UPS as a company should penalize the people that work in this store. I went to pick up a package that said it was delivered at UPS Access Point™ Location, THE UPS STORE, 1392 MADISON AVE, NEW YORK, NY,10029, US. The representative in the store told me that they didn’t have my package and it was probably delivered in the residential building next door. So, I ask if they were going to help me recover it since it still is in the UPS system, and it still is their responsibility. They did not acknowledge that this was their responsibility and asked me to stand outside that residential building in the cold, and wait until a resident comes in, or try to ring a bunch of doorbells to see if someone lets me in and that I should look for my package myself. By the way, the delivery was also from UPS as I was being able to track the location of my package in their system, so it was their responsibility. So they sent me on a mission, on a package hunt… I’m standing outside the residential building when I see someone from that building and I tell her my situation. She lets me in, and indeed my package is there.On my way out from the building I see a man trying also to get into the building, it turns out to be the UPS store manager, and I tell him “Oh, you are from the UPS store, I already have my package”, then he unapologetically demands me to go back to the store because he needs to check the package and that I need to provide my signature and an ID, which is ridiculous, I was the one who recovered the package! The UPS store manager is super rude and bullies me into going back to the store, even though I already did his job on recovering my lost package by myself. I went back to the store because this guy was harassing me on the street. This is happening outside of the residential building where I had recovered my package. At the store, he is super rude, and never acknowledge that they had the responsibility to recover my package, or even that I was doing them a favor in coming back to the store so they could finish their job.If it wasnt their responsibility to recover the package in the first place, once I recovered my package by my own because it was misplaced by the UPS delivery, why are they chasing me and bullying me into going back to the UPS store so they can scan the package and mark it in the system? It makes no sense.Overall, I’m upset about the way I was treated, and the people working at this store should not be representatives of UPS which is a globally recognized company. If you want to be treated as a decent human being and receive the attention you deserve, I recommend avoiding this location by all means.
Needed to print some documents I suppose the manager soon as I entered the store decided to walk pack his backpack on his way out tells me just swipe my bank card on the computer with no other explanation. I then asked Melissa if they have the option to send the documents to an email were they could just print she says no. Just happen to look on the counter and there was the email posted as Ive expected and done before. She then say ok you can send it to that email and I could print. Total for my prints $5.31+ .69 cents for a copy however she then decide to add $3.00 for use of the computer although I did not use the computer. She says they always charge that at this store even if they print the documents themselves. Thats cold and robbery without a gun . First they just wanted me to swipe my card at the computer so it could charge me for time I didnt need and in the end they still end up ripping me off wont be surprised if they get robbed at gunpoint.
Went today to pick up a package. the guy working in there is so horribly rude. in the midst of a pandemic you’d think people would be a tad better. he’s awful.also, all sorts of signs outside claiming they’re using masks to be safe & keep customers safe but he wasn’t using anything. the other lady was.again, he was awful.
So very pleased by the service i received, the two associates are the best ive ever encountered!!! I often come to this store and never thought to say how much theyve done to assist me and id like to say it now! Not only are they courteous, friendly and willing to assist but they are professionals! I would hire them if I had a business.
Don’t print your return labels here. You pay 3$ to connect to a computer, then 50 cents for each copy. He then made me pay 5.5$ for a cardboard box to combine my 2 small boxes. Total : 9$ for an item worth 12$....customer service is cold and obnoxious. Go to fedex nearby
The manger/owner was abusive and shockingly disrespectful, he refused to help me find a zip code and there was no one else in the store . He was standing in front of his computer and said it was not his job.I mentioned that I did not have it and this was a shipping store and I could not understand why he refused to help . He suggested I could leave if I didn’t like it. Then I asked for the owners number . He refused and insinuated he was owner but never said as much I needed to ship a package and was wanting service .Then he told me he was calling cops which he did and told them I was drunk and refused to leave . I don’t even drink alcohol , this man should NOT BE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am a UPS stock holder and feelAshamed to think these store owners have this much rotten attitude .Maybe I should sell my stock . Do not go here
Very happy with the service and the customer service experience was completely satisfied. My story at this store was a blessing from a beautiful lady. I spend three days looking for a mattress cover and a box for my air conditioner. I walked pass this store last minute expecting to fail again but Melissa & Leo helped me quickly & even shared a laugh with me to lighten my mood being that I was so frustrated from days of not finding what I need.
This place said they accepted a package, several days later it was never scanned and the workers there aren’t friendly at all unless you’re just dropping a package. Anything that involves thinking is going to take a while and likely go unresolved until you contact UPS
Just scanned legal documents and came home to find they were scanned in the wrong direction. Phone call and they refuse to give credit, instead please trek back to our store (30 min away) for us to try again or call your credit card company. Please avoid this location. Staff unfriendly and poor customer service.

2022-07-23Extremely kind and helpful staff! I’ve been to several UPS stores but they are definitely far nicer than all the others I’ve been too! I will make a detour now just to go to this location. They were very understanding when I was struggling in the heat with my baby in his stroller, tried to help me process my returns when there was an issue with the QR code, and in general their kind attitude made me feel a lot better about what ended being a return nightmare and spending an hour on the phone with Amazon. Thank you!

2022-07-10Im shocked at how poor the service was that I received from this store. I shipped a package from this location weeks ago, and the item got lost in transit. Ive had to jump through all of upss hoops to file a claim in order to get a refund. Long story short I had to file a claim and send it over to this store which I did via email. The only reply I ever received was there auto message saying we will respond to you soon. I called the store and they didnt answer either. I had to show up in person, and they told me ups needs to investigate the situation which could take 8-10 weeks to complete, before they can give me a refund. For a $17.00 shipping fee, I would have thought the customer service would at least be decent considering how expensive it was, but apparently not. I will not be using this shipping service ever again.

2022-07-19Terrible experience, UPS associate overcharged me for documents I had to send within NYC. Claimed that only air was available whereas when I went to another UPS outlet they were able to do ground shipping for 3 times lesser. This outlet charged me 40$ to send two pages to another address within Manhattan. Dont trust, please go to other ones.

2022-07-18Came to pick up my package at 10 am, hour and a half after opening time(8:30am) and the store is stil CLOSED. There is no note on the door or anything! Im not able to go to another store because my package is already there. I have never seen anything like this , especially in NYC. There is a line of people waiting at a closed store being late for work.

2022-08-10This place sucks, every time one of my packages gets sent there if I am not home to sign for it and pick it up, they don’t scan it in the system. So, when I get there and give my tracking number “they don’t have it”. Always a frustrating experience and awful customer service.

2022-05-31Update: May 31, 2022: I am convinced that this store is part of some twisted hidden camera show where the employees try to act as outrageous as possible to get customers to freak out. A woman ahead of me left the store quite agitated and was the subject of a joke by the employees to the people in the store. Pretty sure the topic of the joke would not meet Google’s content criteria. What is going on here?Original: Absolutely terrible store. They are openly and unapologetically rude to everyone that walks in. Totally bizarre. Avoid at all costs. Example: Brought a door tag in and they told me it wasn’t there. After insisting that they check, it was. Something has changed in the last year, as the old team used to be great. -10 out of 10 stars.

2021-08-17I went to scan all 60 pages of my passport. Mentioned multiple times that I wanted a color copy. Somehow came out a black and white image of a single page because the settings were wrong. She changed the settings - again I asked her repeatedly if it was on color setting - she confirmed yes. It came out a black and white pdf - no apologies, and she rudely asked me to pay for it. Would give this place 0 stars if possible. Please avoid.

2021-06-22I asked representative about price of emailing 55 page docs and he gave me the answer off printing price 59c for each page. ... after job was done he charged me $76.00 and he kept apologizing like he couldnt understand what was I asking... this store has to be watched, few days ago costumer in front of me was complaining for same kind of mistake from the mannager. I am very unhappy. I feel like a victim of fraud.

2020-08-31I had an unbelievable experience with the owner or gm here as he is very sketchy with pricing and shipping dates. I told him my package needed to be somewhere in a week and a half, and he said 35 dollars was the cheapest. I asked if that was cause of covid and he said no. After I left the store I noticed my package was overnight marked and when I looked on the ups website, for the time I wanted my package to arrive, the website quoted 18 dollars. When I called the store to talk to the guy he was very rude And he told me to stop talking and then later left me a vm asking me to come into the store to fix this. For 20 dollars, to me it was not worth dealing with someone so poor in manners and with so many other ups stores in the area, GO TO ANOTHER ONE!!!!
