The Customer Service was great! Big shout out to Breanna who was very patient with all of the things I was bringing in to send back to my work company. She even customized a box for a green screen I had to ship, which at a previous UPS Store they didnt even consider doing. Great Customer service.
I was having a lot of anxiety about shipping some expensive glassware to my cousin in Wisconsin. Brought it all to this UPS Store and Samir and Dylan took care of it all. They were so friendly and accomodating. They made the process very easy and alleviated all my anxieties. I left there confident my items would be securely packed and would arrive safely to their destination.
Worst place to be, went to return Amazon package with amazons digital label. They never accepted it by saying I need to put the item into another box. I told them it came like this and they showed an attitude that I am lying. The girl who was helping along with the manager are very rude and disrespectful. Later I was able to return in another UPS store. They wasted my time and energy.
My experience here could not have been easier. I had a few things to return to Amazon and another company. The person who helped me was so efficient and quick, I was in and out in under 5 minutes. My only small complaint and the reason for only 4 stars as opposed to 5 is that no employees in there were wearing masks.
On Monday 12/21 morning I brought in two packages to be shipped. I paid for 3 Day service so that the packages would be delivered by Christmas. The woman at the UPS store created the labels, accepted my packages, and took my money at 11:05 AM. When I checked UPS tracking I found that both packages had not been given to the driver until Tuesday evening and were scheduled to be delivered on 12/29.This UPS store held on to my packages for 32 hours before sending them out!AMENDED REVIEW: I based my belief that this store delayed sending out my packages on the scan posted on the tracking website and the fact that numerous UPS customer service agents told me that the delay was the stores fault. During a lengthy phone conversation, Samir, the owner of this store, assured me that the packages left his store on the same day I brought them in and that the delay was at the UPS hub.This issue has been one, big mess. Everyone Ive spoken to has given me a different story, its hard to know what to believe. I must say that Samir seemed genuinely concerned and very professional. I believe he is sincere in his desire to provide good service to his customers. I have changed my rating to reflect that.
Any time I walk into a UPS or any other type of mailing service, I absolutely dread it because most of the time the people working there don’t want to be there and frankly I don’t either, BUT let me tell you: I walked into this UPS today and was utterly shocked. Breonna and Jerry are truly the NICEST people ever and you can tell genuinely want to be there and have fun doing it. They are so good at what they do and I hope they are getting greatly compensated and appreciated for what they do. They made an experience like mailing a package memorable and if that’s not a gift within itself then I don’t know what is. Jerry and Breonna are rockstars and I’ll definitely be going back.
The store is clean, the staff are beyond amazing and knowledgeable. This location is so different from other ups because the staff are very friendly, fast, kind. I was in and out and provided excellent service. I made 2 returns and shipped out items less than 10 minutes. I will be back soon and recommend anyone to visit and be greeted with respect and knowledgeable people. Common sense is not that common now in days ;)
I dont have a printer so I called UPS and they said I could bring a digital image off the label to a UPS store and the store would print the label. The woman at the desk wanted to charge me $5 to print the label on top of the shipping charge already paid to UPS. She claimed this store was not affiliated with UPS so they charge $5 to print labels. I went to Mail Boxes & More just around the corner and they happily printed the label without charge and did so with a smile.
My experience at this UPS location was unlike any other. The store was clean, the workers were friendly and attentive and the service was speedy. The associate explained the amazon drop off process and was very informative. I look forward to using this location more often!
This is the best experience Ive ever had at a UPS store! Mail places tend to have rude employees who just want to process your order and get you out of there. This place is so different! The staff are so friendly and immediately greet you when you enter. I have never had to wait in line (that could just be because its a new store and not a ton of people know about it), but even if I had to wait, I wouldnt mind because the employees treat you very well. Cherisse and Semir (if I am remembering their names correctly) were absolutely awesome and helpful. Thank you for serving the Astoria community so well!
This afternoon on April 01 2021, at 1:20pm I passed by this location to drop off some boxes, when I come to the cashier where this girl was attending her phone, I stood in front of her and she saw me but she had her phone making a personal call, talking to her friend and looking at the pictures that her friend just texted her, she finished checking the pictures, to ask what I wanted, continued her conversation and barely wanted to attend me. It was so unprofessional and disrespectful that I will never go back to this location, she was not customer friendly at all, she looked very lazy and unhappy. Horrible experience I had today.
Scheduled a notary service last night for 11am this morning. Walk in only to be told that the notary “quit a couple of days ago” and then to go to the bank three stores down. If there was no notary, why would they continue to allow you to schedule? Why wouldn’t they call the appointment when they open to let them know it wasn’t available instead of allowing people to come to the appointment they think is scheduled. Terrible.
Horrible horrible horrible experience i had came to this store ready to ship my items came across a young man with his mask down talking to me COVID still exists two he looked as if he was out it KEPT CHECKING HIS PHONE he just seem as if he didn’t want to work i then payed it no mind continuing to ship my items and he asked me for my number 3 times as if he kept forgetting the number i usually come in the morning and the two young lady’s are always helpful but this just doesn’t fit with me i loved this store and even wanted to become a regular but after this sorry this store lost a customer!!!

2022-07-24I generally dont have any issues with this place and have been coming here for awhile to take of my shipping needs. However, that being said, after my most recent experience with one of their workers I wont be using this location anymore.I came by on a Monday morning to drop off a package that was ready to be shipped and it was completely dead, just two workers. I wasnt greeted at all even after being pleasant and saying good morning. The one woman there rudely just says go over there, thanks and said she had things to take care of. Shouldnt be working in retail if you dont know how to treat people respectfully. And seeing how it was completely dead, she couldve taken 2 secs to scan a package, but otherwise couldnt be bothered.

2021-07-10I had a great experience at the 4310 Ditmars UPS store processing a huge order of Amazon returns. Jerry was friendly, warm, efficient, and clearly very experienced with all things UPS! He made the process stress free and easy!I am thankful for his help and I highly recommend this store!

2022-05-08The most bad experience with UPS stores I’ve ever had. Employers aren’t doing to help you at all, they are going to charge you $5 for a printing paper , even the duck tape u have to buy if in case you will need to return a package and it’s not closed. Zero cooperation with the client. Super weird people …..They don’t care and the answer is, *the owner policy* that’s it . I’m never going to use this location for my shipping anymore.I suggest definitely go to another location.

2022-08-20This place use to be great but lately they hired the wrong people for the job. one employee especially who seems to be unhappy with what she is doing, speaks to costumers with disrespect....it feels like she is always on the fire mood. I managed to get her name (Tara). I will definitely not use this location anymore. too bad

2022-05-28Let me save you the details of the he-said-she-said -Ive had a bad experience here more than once, multiple times costing me extra. I recommend you alternatively go to the place down between trade fair and Steinway whenever you can. They are much more helpful in actively trying to save you money and are much friendlier.

2022-08-10The owner is very nice but unfortunately hires the rudest staff. I wouldnt go to this UPS unless you want to be treated rudely by an employee. I know hiring is tough but to be so rude to customers shouldn’t be tolerated. Sad to see a hard working store owner look bad because staff is lazy and annoyed to work.

2022-05-27Charged me $10 to pick up a package with a fake handwritten invoice taped to it. The employee tried to argue that its a UPS policy to charge customers for picking up a package from UPS stores. I would stay away from using this store since they extort their customers for money to pick up packages.

2020-09-21Beautiful brand new UPS Store location located within the Berry Fresh Supermarket Shopping Complex. It’s in between Walgreens and Matrix Fitness Club. The place is brand new and the employees are friendly and very nice.
