I came to Saratoga for a weekend trip and stumbled across The Vintage Shop. This was my first time entering a vintage shop and it set the bar high. Each item was tagged with dates, background, and a little history. Looking through the near endless selection I found it hard to believe the dates on the tags. Everything was in great/new condition despite being 50+ years old. Each item is hand picked, organically washed, and vetted by the owner (Denise) with 25+ years of experience. Denise is incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, and passionate about the goods she puts on her racks. There wasnt a question she couldnt answer. The history of the items, quality brands to look for, how to tell an item is vintage, how to take care of the items, and much more. I spent over 2 hours perusing and chatting with the fabulously fun and knowledgeable owner Denise today and left with 2 bags of great finds! There aren’t enough brick and mortar vintage stores around and the Vintage Shop does not disappoint! As a lover of the fashions from the 1940s to the early 1960s, Denise has a wonderfully curated selection of items from a variety of decades. Whenever I’m up this way, I’ll be sure to stop in again!
Love love love this store :) the owner is so sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable. I just bought the most exquisite eight strand pearl necklace here and i cannot wait to wear it out!!! Incredibly fair prices with pristine vintage pieces, we are truly lucky to have a store like this in Saratoga ❤️
I have so much fun every time I come in here. You could spend hours looking through these racks and still not discover all of the hidden gems in the store. I’ve gotten everything from formal gowns to playful jackets here and love that the owner knows the story behind every single piece. She really knows her work and it shows! Will be back again and again for fun shopping and great conversation.
I’ve been looking for a prom dress for weeks now, in and out of stores all over the place. My mom had gone to this vintage store on Beekman and told me it was the only place where she found actual options i would like. When i came and checked it out the next day i was stunned. I found the most beautiful dress here and so much more clothing, i want to buy it all. The woman who works here is so excited about the high fashion vintage clothes she has here and she helped me pick a dress that fits me and gave me her best options. I was so grateful i got to find this place and i will definitely be coming back soon.
Denise has the best vintage retail shop ever. Her items are of high quality and brand names from almost every decade of the 20th century. Everything is hand washed and dried with the utmost care. She takes the time to stay with you and show you what she thinks would best fit what you are there to find. She also provides tailoring free of charge. She even convinced me to try on some things that didn’t look great on hangers but look great on my person. Hands down one of the best finds in Saratoga. You would be a fool to walk out empty handed.

A wonderful and very inviting vintage store! Not only is there a vast collection of both men and womens vintage clothing, but they’re labeled with a nice description and a general date of origin! The owner was so helpful, kind, and most importantly; super stylish! Definitely coming back to get more pieces from the 50s! xx
I just went to the vintage shop to get a suit for prom the owner has a beautiful bubbly personality that i adore. She helped me get all the pieces to make my outfit look perfect.

As a person looking for quality vintage mens clothing in Saratoga Springs many places have very slim pickings but The Vintage Shop has a a great variety of clothing ranging from many decades at a very reasonable price. I regularly go there for very specific and special pieces and never leave empty handed. The owner is more than welcoming and knows every piece of clothing inside and out, giving helpful suggestions when needed. Strongly suggest you visit this beautiful place. :)

I had an amazing experience here looking for a new trench coat. Denise immediately put me in the right direction with an immense knowledge on fashion and materials and really helped me out. The shop was amazing and the adorable women with orange hair was super knowledgeable on all types of vintage clothing from mens vintage to womens vintage dating all the way back to the 20s this shop had it all would absolutely come again next time I’m in Saratoga.

This store is awesome! Authentic vintage pieces from the 20s-80s/90s for men and women. Most of the pieces were from 50s on. They also have shoes, accessories and hats. The pieces are in excellent vintage condition.My husband and I spent a good chunk of time there because everything was so well curated and organized.Walked away with one fabulous piece but could’ve walked away with more. The prices are what you’d expect if you wear/collect vintage regularly.Oh the owners, mother and daughter duo are so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable!

What treasures: The Vintage Shop AND the delightful proprietor Denise! By far the apex of vintage in upstate NY, this gem, in Saratogas Art District, is a work of art unto itself. The inventory is vast, but somehow there is not one piece of junk. For real. Denise has an eye, thats for sure, and a sense of style AND humor- a rarity in todays retail scene. Moreover, in an era of throwaway fashion her pieces are well-made, in impeccable condition, and stylish ( in whatever era you care to embrace) . Theres a remarkable talent for curating displayed here; and, considering the quality and panache, I dont personally find the prices high, when a flimsy Chinese hoodie can easily run you $180. these days. KUDOS to Denise and her staff for coming to Saratoga and adding some serious sparkle to Beekman Street.
I am so glad I stumbled upon this shop during my recent visit to Saratoga. I loved chatting with the owner- she is so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The prices here are excellent, especially considering high quality of the items in terms of condition, style, and selection. Theres a particularly impressive selection of 20s through 40s items, a robust mens section, and great shoes. There are things here for the hard core vintage collector/historian to someone casually looking for something unique to add to an outfit or special occasion. Ill definitely be back.
This new vintage store in the Arts District of Saratoga Springs is absolutely amazing and actually authentic. Not only is the men’s section huge and really unique... the woman’s section is incredible!! The stores huge, all 3 times I’ve gone I’ve found new pieces each time. For Christmas I got my husband a never worn vintage fedora, vintage t shirt and cowboy boots and myself a matching faux leopard hat and purse that matches! Great prices and the owner is a vintage genius... she definitely loves this business!
Amazing selection, perfect condition, only downside is its a little expensive. I was surprised on how much variations from different time periods that they have. If youre looking for something youll probably find it here.Expect to pay a minimum of $120 for a Levi jacket. A very nice leather Pendleton ones are around $250. Still going to come back and buy one of them beginning of winter. Highly recommend this place!
This shop is AMAZING! Denises collection is vast and well cared for, she is beyond knowledgeable about her inventory and its clear that she is passionate about helping you feel good about your finds. Flipping through the racks is like walking backwards in time, the pieces are clean, stain and tear free and full of all the glam and fun of times gone by. If you are looking for an amazing way to spend an afternoon and leave with something you cant wait to show all your friends, this is the place! And if youre open to it, Denise will even suggest garments or help with styling tips so that you can really showcase your new favorite! Or if you have something specific in mind, just ask, Denise knows what she has and is so happy to help.
This place is amazing. I live in the neighborhood, and The Vintage Shop is a very welcome addition to the Beekman Street Arts District. After Reruns closed, Saratoga had been missing a certain special something. The Vintage Shop fills that gap, and dare I say, is actually far better. There’s not another vintage clothing store in the area that is quite this great. Denise is a peach, and so much fun to talk to. There are so many unique pieces, it’s a well curated collection. I found some true gems. Thank you to Denise and her family for investing in the community.

I went to the vintage shop and I was so surprised, it was fully of vintage pieces for women and men including a lot of interesting and intricate finds . I found a beautiful black corset from the 30s. I would definitely go again. The owner was also super friendly and helpful.
Great place, had everything from mens to womans clothing, shoes, hats you name it shes got it! Thats real vintage! Denise is a hard working woman and had the answers to every question I asked :) will be coming back for sure.
I visited this shop about a week ago and it was amazing! I’m gonna try to mention everything important!1.) The vintage clothes selection is so far the best and most extensive I’ve seen in a shop, personally. When I first walked in there was so much that I was overwhelmedBut the owner gave me a quick tour which was extremely helpful! Woman’s clothes take up the majority of the store and are organized on racks by decade/type of clothing and there’s even a section for designer/couture! The Men’s clothes have their own smaller section, but still, the amount of items and variety was amazing for men’s as well! There’s also shoe sections for men and women and accessories displayed around the store! There’s so much to look at, I personally when through the whole store twice before making a purchase! In my opinion, this is a good problem to have when vintage shopping!2.) The quality of the clothes, shoes and accessories for sale were also amazing. I don’t think a single item I saw was any less than great vintage condition, and honestly most of the stuff I’d say was in perfect vintage condition.3.) I felt the prices were more than fair considering the quality, condition and uniqueness of the available vintage! To be clear, This place is not dirt cheap. This isn’t like going to the goodwill! (Which I also love so I’m not knocking those type of thrift stores either!) This shop sells high quality and immaculate vintage clothes and has a lot of stuff from luxury brands as well. No stains, rips, holes, etc on any of the items and everything is precleaned. (The owner explained how she cleans and prepares everything but I can’t remember exactly what she said.) Given the rare and amazing selection and the quality of every item, the prices are again, more than fair! I am not a fan of being ripped off and have been in the vintage world before so i don’t say this lightly!4.) also she offers layaway! Which no one does that anymore! I was super excited about that!5.) The owner is the best! She’s extremely nice and super friendly! She’s also incredibly knowledgeable in what she’s selling, so she can answer most questions about vintage clothes, which I appreciated. She let me put as much as I wanted in the dressing room to try on and was super patient with me, as I was there like 3 hours browsing before deciding what to buy! Her presence, personality, company and assistance is what made the experience so great! There’s nothing worse than going into a shop and have the owner or employees make you feel uncomfortable or act like you being there for more than 5 minutes is annoying to them! I have had many experiences like that, but not at this place! The owner was so nice that by the end of my time there I felt like we were friends! Lol.Sorry for writing a novel, but I wanted to give this place the review it deserved! I encourage anyone who is a lover of real authentic vintage to check out and support this business if you’re in the area!
My husband I like to get away from the city on weekend occasions. We escape to upstate NY for the quiet beauty it offers. I came across The Vintage Shop and couldnt be more enthralled with this quaint, classy and friendly place. They have selections that fit every personality and every style. Its East Village Vintage meeting a serene Saratoga Springs Vintage. The selections do NOT disappoint and the customer service is stellar. This is my go to on the weekends! I will be telling my downstate friends about this upstate gem!
This shop is amazing! A hidden gem down beekman street! I went in and went through almost every rack to find countless vintage, designer and one of a kind pieces! I also fell in-love with a vintage fur coat! The color and fit was everything, I returned to the store to buy it and noticed it must had been altered and was falling a little too short on my hip! The wonderful shop owner took a look at it and re-altered it for me🥰❤️ !
I went into the shop for the first time my experience was incredible. The store owner is a wonderful women and had a blast with her. Her inventory was extraordinary Fendi, Gucci and many more brand names. Definitely will be returning. , cant express how happy you will be to go in and shop.

This place has been amazing! The owner was very friendly and the clothes is very well taken care of. She has a lot of clothes from the 60’s and 70’s and being honest I’m already obsessed with the place. I’ll definitely be coming here more and if you’re into fashion YOU SHOULD TOO.

What an amazing selection of mens vintage. Ive never seen a collection like this and in such perfect conditions. I got a mens vintage classic Coogi sweater while my gf got a Burberry jacket that she couldnt be happier about. We cant wait to go back for some vintage summer pieces
Wow this is new to saratoga springs ny! Its soooo full of Fab prestine vintage clothing from everyday to casual an mens too! So impressive im comming back offen! Everything in prestine condition, the owners says everything is organically dry cleaned or washed an its obvious! Ive never seen such variety from 1910 to 1980s casual to evening soon everything will b normal in the world with parties to go to an this is the place to find it all!

Best selection of rare vintage garments I’ve seen. Everything is in great condition and ranges from the early 1900s to the 90s. Prices are reasonable and reflect the quality.

She went above and beyond to recommend items and provide fantastic service. I was planning on going to all the vintage shops in the area and I am SO glad that I came here and got everything I could ask for. Highlight of my trip to Saratoga.

2022-02-26The Vintage shop has easily become one of my favorite places in Saratoga Springs. Half of the experience is from the lovely owner Denise. She is an expert at helping you find exactly what you need. She helped me find the most perfect vintage Doc Martens for only $120. Her store has such beautiful unique items you’ll never find anywhere else. This is a MUST if you live in the area or are just stopping by Saratoga. Will definitely back very soon!!

The Vintage Shop is not just a store, but also a thrilling experience. The owner Denise was so friendly and helpful and was knowledgeable about each hand-picked and curated vintage piece in the shop. The best part, each and every item is carefully cleaned organically before its displayed! 2022-04-05This was one of the most memorable experiences of Saratoga. I am a lover of vintage and always get excited when I hear of new places. First of all, this store is located in the most quaint artist district with free parking, so that’s always a plus. I had no idea what to expect when I walked in but my mind was immediately blown. The amount of clothing, accessories, shoes etc is astounding. The quality was amazing and the pieces were absolutely breathtaking, ranging from many eras. The owner Denise was the true gem. She was incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable. She was absolutely the sweetest most down to earth person and full of great stories and fabulous company. When you pay for her clothing, you don’t just pay for the clothes you pay for the experience. I will be back to take many more looks at her wonderful collection of true unique vintage items!!

2022-06-06I cannot say enough good things about our visit to The Vintage Shop! If you dig vintage shopping, absolutely do visit this store. My brother, my girlfriend, and I visited on a weekend afternoon and spent several hours there. The collection is exceptionally fun and unique with lots of variety spanning decades of styles and the prices are fair. Visitors will also benefit from Denises passion for and knowledge of vintage styles. She listened to what we were interested in and directed our attention to several amazing one-of-a-kind items.

2021-12-10I HAVE BEEN PRAYING FOR A VINTAGE SHOP IN SARATOGA FOR YEARS AND ITS FINALLY HERE!!! Not to mention, I absolutely LOVE the owners Denise and Sheena to death!! They have the BEST selection and everything is in amazing condition. I have not left the store empty handed once. 2022-07-22Such a wonderful experience. The owner has a great eye and can help you pick out pieces from the 50s that will look great on you! She has clothes from every decade, and will even give you tips on upkeep.I walked out with 5 one-of-kind pieces, all from different decades. She has an incredible collection. I do not enjoy shopping at all, and it’s rare that I find clothes that I like and fit me well, but I hit the jackpot here! Highly recommend, even if just for the experience.

2022-06-09By far one of my favorite shops in Saratoga. Every time I step into this place I find a new piece that just happens to fit perfectly. From 80’s adult prom to wedding guest dresses to every day wear, Denise has it all! I highly suggest making this a routine stop when you are in the area. Denise is an absolute peach and this shop is perfection.
