The William NYC in New York
The William NYC in other cities:
Vomit concealed under deodorizer. On night two the gradual increase in vomit smell became horrible. The staff had no tools to help with this in the middle of the night. In the morning the staff were apologetic. The management accused me of being the source. To say I am disgusted does not go far enough. This is an interesting hotel with questionable management. Beware. Check for damp spots immediately upon arrival! The hotel later tried to apply a cleaning charge to my card. No no. I do not think so. Traffic noise is significant, but standard for a city location.
Great location. Next to grand terminal Station, so we got to places quickly. Modern rooms. Clean, great space. Feels cozy, because it used to house alumni from the university that would come from all over to vist. Great staff. Accomdating. Will definetly stay here agian.
Hotel Room was awesome. Perfect location for anything NYC. However... The staff needs help and training. Sign says bar closes at 1200am. It was 1130pm. Im a guest at hotel and was told I could not get a drink at the bar. There was only one wash cloth in bathroom for the both of us. Asked for a washclothe after checking in at 525pm still no washclothe by 1139pm. Wife had to can to desk and threaten the poor kid working there. So staff needs training. They staff should know more about NYC to assist in questions that guest my have. Everything else was great. 4 stars cause staff needs adjusting.
Not quite sure where to begin. Very excited to check out this hotel for our first trip back to NYC since the start of the pandemic after reading the great reviews. Unfortunately, the great reviews didn’t reflect our experience.Called ahead to ask about parking, was told the William didn’t have parking (not shocking for NYC). So I arranged my own. Only to discover once we arrived that The William us a relationship with the garage next door and we could have parked there with a discount.Attendant at check in was gruff and seemed put out by having to…check me in. Only information volunteered to me about the hotel that I didn’t hve to specifically ask for was the location of the elevator.Room didn’t have a working smoke detector- in fact it didn’t have one at all. Just wires where one should be. When I called to alert them of this and ask for them to bring one up, I was told they’d taken them out of a number of the rooms due to a leak in the building and that there was one in the hall and that quote: “we should be fine.”Otherwise, room was fine. Nothing particularly special. Sink in bathroom would not drain which was annoying and gross. Both the restaurant and the bar were closed, despite there being no correlating indication online that all would be closed on Sundays. So the hotel consisted of a dark, tight hallway surrounded by locked double doors on all ends and a small window area for check in. Not a single indoor communal space available.I didn’t give this hotel 1 star because I believe that should be reserved for uniquely traumatizing experiences. But it sure as heck deserves a two. This hotel was disappointing in quite literally every way and I’m so disappointed in the choice we made and the money we spent. It is certainly not deserving of its four star rating. Frankly, I’ve stayed at some two star hotels that were significantly better experiences. There are hundreds of hotels to choose from when visiting the city, If you’re looking for a fun boutique experience, I could not more strongly suggest you spend your money elsewhere. The Library Hotel is lovely.
Stayed here for an August weekend. The doorman was very friendly and helped everything from room service too holding our luggage so we can enjoy the city. They allowed us to even check in earlier. The room was very clean and it looked great for the price they sold it for. Best part was a working Alexa speaker for music!
A great hotel near a lot of downtown things in NYC. They have some great amenities for their hotel, as well as their cocktail bar. The bar is high dress, but very nice. Its pretty close to a couple ramps in town, and some metro. Friendly staff all the times we went there!
This the worst experience ever happened..If you will pay 400$ what do you expect ?? unwelcoming staff?? Dirty floors?? Late check in time because the room is not ready and when you finally got in room you will smell cleaners .. of course because the just finished cleaning. It is not over yet. The A/C is small for the room. Dont expect cold room. This is what happened to me ..please check out the pics and the video
Great hotel. Amazing rooms with terraces. Staff is fairly abrasive. We started getting phone calls at 1045am on day of check out asking why we hadnt left yet when check out is 11am. Then they sent someone to our room. All before checkout time. Id think twice unless service isnt a priority for you.
Swanky boutique hotel with great character. Thoroughly enjoyed this hotel, had an issue with the room after check in however, Fabien at the front desk was overly accommodating and rectified the problem with ease. The kitchen closes at 11pm, wasn’t able to try any of the delicious menu options. But the libations were thee absolute truth!! Customer service was divine, atmosphere was like smooth jazz, and the crowd was retro chic. Definitely recommend staying or just coming by for light fare and drinks. The room was quaint, bed was comfortable and the shower water pressure was stimulating. Also offers a nice terrace on the higher floors.
My favorite place to stay in NYC!! Each room is unique. Squeaky clean and good vibes. Love that they provide cute flip flops for you to keep! The bath robes are so soft. The only warning- if you have a large suitcase be prepared to drag it up a a decent flight of stairs to the small entrance of the hotel. Not a big deal - you’ll love it when you get inside. Visit the cool cozy sitting room by the lobby. Great drinks & apps downstairs at the Shakespeare.
Large for NYC rooms (ours was), nicely remodeled. Comfy beds. Great staff. Easy walk to many of the local attractions. We were on a lower floor and you do get a little street noise, but the heavy curtains damp most of it out. We had no trouble sleeping late into the AM. Definitely enjoyed our stay.
This is the best hotel in which we have stayed in NYC, and we have been staying in boutique hotels every year for 20 years. The room we got was huge. It was well constructed (quality) and very clean. Although we were on the second floor with windows to the street, it was quite quiet by NYC standards. We would go back in a minute.
The concierge was very accommodating, allowing us to check in early and also let us drop off our bags for a few hours after checkout. The room was compact but didnt feel cramped. It also contained some great amenities including a balcony, fridge, and stove top with pots and pans. We only stayed one night but I could imagine spending a week here easily. Well definitely consider staying here again next time were in town.
The location was in a really convenient yet quiet area. The decor was amazing, helping to make the already cozy and sophisticated atmosphere even better. The rooms, although slightly smaller than normal hotels, did not feel cramped at all and were successful in feeling luxurious while being efficient with space. Overall, an amazing hotel to stay in for any one.
We stayed at the William last weekend, and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was great with the bright colors and modern feel. The concierge was super helpful with the details to make my husbands birthday special, and even upgraded us to the penthouse! They were very welcoming at check-in and even called a few minutes after we arrived to our room to ensure everything was fine. We were very impressed with the room, and of course loved the Nespresso in the morning. Location is very convenient to multiple subway lines as well. Id definitely recommend the hotel - a unique and great find in the city!
My family and I stayed at The William for a weekend and werent sure what to expect going in...I must say that we were all very pleasantly surprised from the second we walked in to the beautifully restored old world lobby, greeted by a warm and friendly staff member who took the time to explain everything to us, and once we got to our rooms, we were sure that we were going to enjoy every minute..The decor is so unique and cool, the beds were amazingly comfortable , the kitchen is fully stocked to make you feel like you are home, and the technology is up to the minute..Besides the fact that everything is impeccably clean. We loved the pub and the bar downstairs so much that we stayed there both nights for dinner. Our experience was wonderful, and I would highly recommend The William to anyone who wants a home like feeling in a New York hotel.
Great hotel, very unique and modern. Booked on Hotel Tonight and really enjoyed our stay. Room was small but not too small, it was well decorated and had Apple TV and Amazon Echo Dot. One could complain about the small elevator and unpleasant stairs but it really was no problem would stay here again. I wouldnt necessarily recommend it for long stays though. Its just good for younger folks wanting to stay in NYC for a night or two.
I stayed at the William this past weekend and my experience was unlike any hotel / apartment experience Ive ever had. As soon as you enter the space, you are completely drawn in, sparking curiosity as to what lies upstairs. I knew from the second I walked in that this was something special. The people at the front desk are warm, friendly and helpful, and took the time to carefully explain each unique feature (Nespresso machines, showers, etc). They also gave me a personalized passport with useful information about the area, including restaurant recommendations, which was helpful since my friends and I always have trouble brainstorming. The rooms are breathtaking both from far out and close up. The bold colors provide light and excitement, without being overwhelming (a delicate balance to strike!). Kitchens have everything you need as well. Not to mention- Possibly the best beds Ive ever slept in (and Im currently considering buying one for my own home, or at least the pillows ; ) )The bar downstairs is lively, comfortable and casual...It also features a great menu.Would highly recommend this to anyone looking to be inspired by their stay in NYC.
Beautiful boutique hotel with attentive and efficient staff. Corridors are a bit small but amply furnished. Rooms are decent sized and the area is relatively quiet. Note that the restaurant/bar in the basement is not actually part of the hotel so dont expect to order room service or charge any food and drinks to your room.
I stayed at the William last night and had such a wonderful experience. The room was immaculate and modern with really cool touches like vintage record coasters, Loccitane soaps and shampoos, and a delicious chocolate cheesecake heart. The design of the hotel is very unique and stylish and the staff was all super friendly. The Shakespeare serves exquisite cocktails and has an extensive tasty beer selection (not to mention fantastic fish and chips with Sir Kensingtons ketchup for the chips). This place goes all out across the board- the best hotel I have stayed at in NYC
Super clean and super white :) The room is big enough for comfortable awakes; a bit limited for staying and working. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and they know the surroundings. Strategic position close to subway, Grand Central Station and the heart of Manhattan. Dont miss the pub and the beers in the basement of the hotel (just push the LL button in the elevator).
Nicely located boutique hotel with hip restaurant in ground floor and trendy bar in the basement. My room was well isolated, clean, large, with a lovely bathroom. Yet, the fridge turned on and off throughout the day, making quite the noise (could be turned off, though) and my room was relatively dark.
The staff was great. Every member of staff that we spoke to were very helpful & polite. Our room was super quiet although it lacked any real view as we faced an office building. Couldnt fault the place at all, will be recommending it to anyone I know travelling to NY in the future.
This was our first time staying here, but know the location well, having stayed at the nearby Pod 39 in the past. If you dont know the Murray Hill neighborhood, it is ideally located in the heart of Manhattan, just a few blocks from Grand Central, and easily walkable from Penn Station, Broadway and Times Square. The hotel is tiny, a true boutique and recently renovated and modernized (the young man at the desk said it used to be the Williams College Club). We arrived around 1pm, and although our room would not be ready for a couple more hours, they were happy to check our bags. The hotel also boasts a speakeasy-style bar and a restaurant which we didnt try, but looked busy with people enjoying brunch. When we returned to the hotel some hours later, the same young man at the desk already had our keys and paperwork ready for us. His assistant grabbed our bags and took us up to our room on the 3rd floor and explained the feature of the very modern room.Compared to the nearby Pod and other smaller more modern hotel offerings throughout Manhattan, our entry level (queen) room was relatively spacious, as was the very sleek bathroom (tub shower combo).Unlike many other economical hotels, there was plenty of room to walk around the bed, store luggage and use the built in desk which held a large flat screen tv and Nespresso coffee maker with complementary espresso and tea fixings. The room also came stocked with complementary bottle water and a rather large mini fridge (not stocked with anything for sale). Other room features included a large closet, digital safe and lots of modern lighting (both overhead and lamp styles). The hotel was very quiet, and though are room didnt have any view to speak of (small window looked across at a nearby building) the lack our noise was almost unexpected for Manhattan. The bed was also extremely comfortable with lovely sheets and a lightweight but warm comforter.Frankly, Im not sure why this place is so economical and fully expect their prices to rise dramatically as more people discover this hidden gem!
We had the chance to stay here through a Jetsetter deal for a quick trip into the city. The hotel tends to cater towards extended stays but was overly helpful for our 2 night stay. The room had a huge porch and extra large closet. I loved the trendy vibe and the location. Definitely recommend for a quick weekend or even extended stay.
Had a great sleep, quiet room (#305), loved the decor...fresh modern but with color and comfort. Appreciated the small kitchen and Nespresso machine, this would be a great long term stay. If 5 star to you is the Four Seasons, this might not be for you (no stuff rooms or staff here), but 5 star to me is excellent design, comfort, great sleep, service, food & location...and something NOT the Four Seasons so I love The William and will definitely be back. Very professional and friendly staff, know the area, and are happy to help.
Great night sleep. Upscale guests and flawless staff made this my hotel pic in NYC, period. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful every time we were passing in or out of the hotel. The staff were friendly and polite and really helpful. Cannot wait to return.
Absolutely horrible “luxury” hotel experience. The worst hotel I have stayed at in at least the past year or 2. Most of the positive reviews on here must be fake.To save time, I am simply going to list some of the troubles as they come to mindInternet didn’t work, (wouldn’t log in) tv didn’t work, (turned on but wasn’t connected to Apple TV as the guide showed in room) Alexa didn’t work, (both didnt want to connect to Internet and seemed broken regardless) room was gross and loud and only had a queen bed which was super saggy.Faucet in shower was broken so no cold showers (literally would rotate down on its own back to warm, you had to hold it...) , SUPER LOUD ticking sound all night but no clock in room, and to top it off the maids were super loud in the hallways starting at 8am. They knocked on my door at 9am!! It was Saturday morning and they only have 33 rooms total to clean! The rooms are tiny and the walls are thin. The room was decently clean, but not to any sort of high end standard.Staff at front desk was ok and not the problem.Whoever owns this place must be so wealthy they don’t care about this hotel anymore.Don’t stay here.
Staff were great. Hotel room (studio queen) actually looked as impressive as the photos on their website. The hotel is just off the main roads of Madison and 5th avenue and the NY library so handy but extremely quiet at night for getting off to sleep. Small price to pay.
Room was decorated smartly for the size and was clean. Had gone to a concert for a special occasion that evening and had returned to the hotel around 10:30pm. Went to get ice, but could not find ice machine. When I called the front desk to ask where I might get ice, I was told to go to a nearby store to get a bag because I would not be able to access the ice machine due to it also being the storage space for the housekeeping trolleys. I was surprised and disappointed at the lack of willingness to help with getting even a small amount of ice from the bar or restaurant in the building.
We stayed at The William after being recommended by Virgin holidays in a queen suite after deciding to upgrade from the standard rooms and we are really glad we did for the extra. The location is outstanding. Upscale guests and flawless staff made this my hotel pic in NYC,, period.
Had a room on last floor was freezing cold. Then went on 3rd floor much better. The interiors architecht did a good job as far as design is concerned regarding regarding fonctionnalies many non censes plugs hidden under night tables or just on top of the sink. Else nice boutique Hotel well located
I stayed here with my wife during the pre-opening. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful and the rooms were impeccably clean. The design team really focused on every minute detail and it truly shows in the final product. The William is truly the best product in the extended stay market, period. Highly recommended!
Uber moder, ultra swanky with a bit of classic charm . I just enjoyed everything about my stay at the William hotel in New York New York I was right in the middle of the city perfect for my business trip the hotel was very accommodating. Walking into this brownstone I felt like it was a blast from the past with their beautiful and conventional liquor room gave me the perfect speakeasy feel. Checking in was a breeze I was offered upgrade options and offered an extra bed for accommodation to my room. Going up The exclusive side elevator to my room was a bit challenging but when the elevator doors opened up to art gallery style foyer it was totally selfie worthy witch made the small elevator worth the ride. the hallway of the hotel looks like the elevator dropped Me off some place in the future. With clean white hallways and eye popping primary colors in each room I felt like this hotel is New York in a drownstone. And just like New York the living size is straight to the point. New York City square footage but a big city feel with sleek and modern furniture that had multi use so that was a helpful space savor. Let’s not forget to mention the bathroom...... to die for. All in all I will say, this hotel gave my business trip the extra leg up I needed to make the win for company and l went back to Florida with my stamp on the big apple trough the eyes of the William !Loved itThe GlamBoss
The William is one of the more unique destinations in Manhattan I have encountered. From the moment you walk in you are captivated by the decor and friendly staff. The design team did a superb job making each room and floor not only esthetically beautiful, but comfortable and inviting. You cant beat the location, the service, and the attention to detail in this new development. I would confidently recommend the William to everyone, this is one New York experience not to be missed.
The William NYC is the best holiday apartment we have ever had the pleasure of spending time within. It is a picture perfect New York townhouse that mixes old world charm with modern and contemporary styling. The location in great, with easy access to all that NYC has to offer. If you haven’t stayed in the Murray Hill neighbourhood before, it is ideally located in the centre of Manhattan, only a few blocks from Grand Central, and easily accessible from Rockefeller Centre, Times Square and MOMA.We were eloping in NYC last August and the William was perfect. We even got a free upgrade to a penthouse suite, which has an outdoor terrace so large it was almost as big as the suite itself! The terrace really was the jewel in the crown and it was a pleasure to be able to enjoy breakfast in the sun with the sights and sounds of NYC around us.The room has everything you would expect from a high quality boutique hotel. A large queen sized bed, which was exceptionally comfortable with gorgeous bedding. The bathroom was modern in style, with a rainfall shower, hairdryer and LOccitane beauty products. The kitchenette has everything that you could require during your stay with a complimentary Nespresso machine, unfortunately George Clooney was not included. As expected the hotel has free secure Wi-Fi, what wasn’t expected was the two HDTVs with free access to Apple TV, one for the lounge area and one for the bedroom. The room has a large fridge which also came supplied with complementary bottled water. Other room amenities included a very large wardrobe, dressing gowns and an easy to operate digital safe.Theres a Shakespeare inspired restaurant with a British pub-grub style menu. Being Scottish we didn’t get round to trying the restaurant, eating the food from home isn’t what we wanted to do on this trip. However when we stay at The William again we will 100% give the restaurant a go, as it was always packed to the rafters. The hotel was exceptionally quiet the lack our noise from the outside world was virtually astonishing for the middle of Manhattan. You can rest assured the next time we visit NYC we will be staying in The William.
Carlos Chris and Raphael provide a warm and friendly welcome to everyone. Every single staff member we interacted with was genuine, helpful, and extremely accommodating. The room is on the modern side with a pop of color. The hotel is in the Murray Hill area and it is very quiet, something that all will appreciate.
This boutique hotel houses an impressive array of food & beverage options. The Shakespeare Dining Room is reminiscent of a 19th century gentlemans club and boasts a seasonal cosmopolitan NY menu.Raines Law Room at the William is a lounge with a speak-easy vibe. The tables feature service bells for waiters and the mixologists have curated a lengthy list of select cocktails.
I am a part of the management team at The William. I can happily say I am extremely proud and excited to be part of this project. The team being assembled is very special. The ideas and care involved in creating this property is unique. We hope to impress each and every guest at every point of interaction. We look forward to welcoming you starting January 6, 2014.
On arrival one is greeted with a wonderfully restored Lobby and adjacent Library and Bar reminiscent of the historic Williams Club. But on stepping out of the elevator on the guest floors, the decor is an explosion of color; unabashed blues, teals, reds, greens or oranges; representing a totally new and refreshingly contemporary experience. A definite Must See hotel!
The premier extended stay hotel in Manhattan. The William offers a pied-à-terre lifestyle with the most luxurious hotel services and amenities. The William offers a chic, sanctuary-style environment with modern conveniences. Within its 33 guest rooms and suites, you will find an oasis of calm amid the hustle and bustle of one of the most exciting cities in the world.
My flight was late so I missed my connecting flight to NY. Called to ask for a cancellation, they said no. I asked to speak with the manager, so they gave me his “phone number.” I called the number and it just rang eternally until a phone company message started. Sure enough, they charged me full price for the room stay.Stick with the name brands, don’t get hosed by these folks. It might be more expensive but at least you’ll get taken care of.
Typical hipster habitat I guess -- new hotel with gut renovation to look futuristic, but ceiling crumbling and room impossibly cold despite turning heat up all the way. In sh{rt, the affectation of moderately priced luxury but the reality of moderately priced poor accommodations. Would never stay again.
Kevin was so helpful and offered to pop it in the post for meThats pretty darn nice service PS. The place is pretty clean. I would say the location is good if your activities center on the east side of the City. The perfect place for catching up with NYC friends and family on our way through town.
The William is a New York City extended stay hotel wholly unlike any other. Superior technology, carefully curated service and flawless design fuse together across 33 exquisitely appointed rooms in one of Manhattan’s premier districts. The William stands to cater to your every whim, allowing you to live, work and play like a local throughout your guest experience. The William isn’t just a hotel; The William is a lifestyle that will leave you with a calling for New York City forever more…
Apparently, The William doesnt like customers that come from third-party sites and will treat you differently because of it. My mom and I stayed here over Memorial Day Weekend, checking in just 15 minutes after the designated check-in time, and were met with a frown and I was going to cancel, but I didnt want to do that to you. After asking for more information and being confused, the woman at the front desk told us that the room we HAD booked was not available and our only option was to sleep in a full-sized bed when we had paid for a queen room. When we pressed her, she said we had to prioritize paying customers who didnt come from a third-party site as the hotel had been overbooked. Instead of placing the blame on their reservations manager, she placed the blame on us.She mentioned a specific guest by their FULL NAME and said Mr. (Name) had already booked the room and PAID us. Making it seem as if we hadnt paid, despite me having a booking confirmation email, multiple follow-up emails from the hotel, and the money taken out of my bank account. She treated us differently because we had booked from Travelocity and acted as if we scammed our way into the hotel, repeatedly saying well if you hadnt booked from a third party site. When I told her we would not accept a full-sized bed and expected the accommodations we had paid for, I was met with more aggression and pettiness, with the front desk woman saying I dont think you understand this is a boutique hotel repeatedly - probably 10 times or more. It felt very classist and rude, given that we had paid for the hotel and she was acting as if we did not belong there. After arguing, she finally put me on the phone with her manager who was not on the property, and the manager proceeded to give me the same attitude, then telling me shed come to see us in 10 minutes. She never showed up. After us waiting to the side as the front desk checked in other guests with seemingly no issue, the front desk woman asked us to come back over and there was a man at the desk who did not introduce himself. He promptly told us the same information she had, then proceeded to say they bumped this other guest (who they referred to by his full name again) and gave us the room we had booked, constantly reminding us that we had bumped Mr. (name) from the room, even going as far as to say Do you know Mr. (name)? and when we acted confused, the man at the front desk said, Thats the man we had to bump for you to have this room. When we questioned their reservation practices as my mom used to do this job for work, they complained that they were having problems with their sales manager as she keeps overbooking the hotel. Clearly, the issue is not third-party sites or people simply booking a hotel from Travelocity, its their own staff, and then them gaslighting and berating their guests to deflect the blame. After finally checking in and being treated horribly by the front desk, they didnt give us any hotel information, did not apologize for how they had treated us or the unnecessary attitude they had given us or told us about the bar/lounge downstairs. Once we got into our hotel room, we were met with a coffee machine that did not work and a very firm bed. After that, whenever we came downstairs, the front desk girl would intentionally avert her gaze, never apologized, never welcomed us back in from the day, etc. It was a very uncomfortable stay and I truly regret not asking for a refund to move to another hotel. Do not stay here.
Very complete hotel 5 minutes walk from Times Square. Very quiet street, although it has a quite lively hotel bar below. The room they gave us was great, beautiful, spacious, with a very comfortable bed and enough resources to be able to eat on the property if you decide to do so. There is a good quality price relation
I did not stay at the hotel but sent 3 emails with reservation questions which went unanswered. I called and was on the line for 15 minutes. They were supposed to call me the next day and they never called me back. This clearly reflects a bad image of the hotel. Shame

2022-04-08I read many of the bad reviews, and Im sorry those folks had bad experiences at The William NYC. My husband and I had anything but. The service was wonderful -- genuinely friendly, super-helpful, professional and efficient. The lobby and lounge areas are elegant, sumptuous and inviting. The room was huge by New York standards and well-appointed with tasteful mid-century modern furnishings. Amenities to note include excellent lighting design, ample built-in storage under a sleek banquette and floor-to-ceiling windows, a large well-lit closet, a full kitchenette and a large, luxurious bathroom. Our favorite things about the place: Its thoughtful design and perfect location, central to everything and just two blocks from Grand Central Station. We felt right at home immediately and loved using this hidden gem of a hotel as our basecamp during our two-night stay in the city. Highly recommend it!

2022-02-24Hands down this is my new favorite hotel! It’s full of character & endless possibilities.I stayed for my Birthday & was thrilled to take some cute pics. Literally the perfect place for Photographers & content creators. The staff was friendly & informative, was thrilled I was able to drop my bags off before check in. It’s beyond clean & neat, extremely spacious, comfy chairs, couches, ample lighting, enough closet space for two adults, I also love that there’s a curtain that separates the small kitchen area from the sleeping area. The only thing I wasn’t wild about was the half shower door, which unfortunately created a draft. Besides that small thing, The William NYC is definitely worth booking!!

2022-06-25My new favorite hotel in New York City! This is a hidden gem. The staff is warm and so accommodating! It’s in a beautiful quiet area near Bryant Park. Each room is uniquely decorated. The owner’s wife is an artist and her artwork hangs on all the walls. The Manager, Ronni is amazing! She goes above and beyond to ensure all the details are covered. Upon arrival, I received a gift from the hotel - flip flops and was offered a bathrobe. The first floor has a lovely speakeasy and in the evenings there are sometimes fancy private events. My room was amazing- spacious, beautifully decorated, all smart setups - including an Alexa sound machine. This hotel is a special find that’s not to be missed.

2022-02-18The room was good. I had one of the “penthouse” rooms which had its own deck. I would not say it had an amazing view or anything. The best part of the hotel was the location. It’s a few blocks from Grand Central which makes it convenient due to it’s connectivity to the rest of the city. Additionally, it had a nice cocktail lounge on the main floor which is great for before dinner drinks or a nightcap before heading to bed.

2022-04-19This small hotel is excellent!I dont know if its considered a boutique hotel, but felt like it. All staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was absolutely gorgeous and everything was perfect during my stay. Super quiet, couldnt hear other rooms or the street. Its very well located too. 10/10. (Im super picky for hotels but this one was outstanding!)

2022-06-05Great location but thats where the positives end. For $400/night, it was absolutely not worth the money. Room was small and dirty (someones contact lens was on the floor when we first got into our room). Hotel itself has nothing interesting to offer. For this price point certainly many better options with equally good locations. Staff was friendly.

2022-06-12I’m not a fan of hotels at all. I thank god that I discovered this place, it smells sooo good & was veryy clean. something very important for me. I also loved the view from my room. I went months ago but get flashbacks from time to time of the smell & entire feel of the place. everyone was so helpful & patient. 10/10 would recommend, definitely at the top my list for places to stay when I go back.

2022-04-19Without a doubt my favorite hotel in NYC and the only one I stay in. The balconies are fantastic in the suites, its way larger than your average nyc hotel room, centrally located and the kitchen is a great touch!

2022-05-10Great place in a central location. For the price its great quality. Theres really nothing extra to the experience really but nothing complain. The service was very friendly. As its said many times before the lobby downstairs is quite dark but didnt bother me.
