New owners and now less than half the ice cream options and lots of low quality fried food. Ruined a good spot. I didnt even get what we ordered and the size of the ice cream is way smaller than it was. Major disappointment.
Excellent, I had the sausage and peppers and my wife had the mushroom burger with Swiss. Really hit the spot on a cool, rainy afternoon. My granddaughter loved the sweet potato fries. Definitely will go back for food and to try some ice cream. Wondering if they might have vegan ice cream at some point? Glad to welcome this active duty Navy family to the area.Pete Donovan
With all due respect I never write these. I got a burger with a very greasy bun. Was not pleased with the greasy burger. Ice - cream on point except the mango soft serve seemed more like shaved ice. Other flavors are good tho
Amazing new local restaurant and the ice cream is to die for! The food is delicious and the service was amazing. As good as the Windchill in Ticonderoga. Can’t wait for the mini golf to open up.
Was hoping it was going to be great (Mr bills was not(my opinion). Was not at all what I was hoping for especially since Im within a five minute walk with three girls who absolutely love Soft serve...look like this summer we will have to ride to Farmers Daughter if we want good food and ice cream..super disappointed
New greens are laid and putt putt is open, looks like things are all coming together and golfing on the greens with the family was nice. It was a busy day but they were still able to get our food out in about 20 minutes which was the perfect amount of time to enjoy our icecream, our picky toddler loved the shoe string fries and all of the rest of it was pretty top notch.
My family and I stopped on our way back home to the Syracuse area and we really enjoyed it. My husband is lactose intolerant and really liked the dole whip option they had. I had the soft serve and it was also really good.
I have already been here a few times and I will be one of their regulars this season. New favorite spot! Food was great. We tried the fish sandwich, sweet potato fries, chicken tenders, hand cut fries and michigans. All were quality, especially the fish, and sweet potato fries. The soft served ice cream was incredible. Its better than Marthas! Super creamy and smooth. Too bad Minnie golf wasnt open. If I get a hole in one do I get a free ice cream?
Staff was still figuring things out this week with paying for the ice cream AND the soft vanilla was really poor quality. Mr Bills was better and J.J.s is MUCH better. Must be the brand they use. I am totally disappointed since this was a regular stop for me when I go to Hannaford. I suspect the current reviews are friends more than patrons since they are over-the-top and my neighbor had the same opinion as mine. We will see how the reviews gravitate over time. I will give them a second change and will update this review if needed.
I am a huge fan of always supporting young, new small, local business owners, and after my first experience with the new Windchill Factory, these new owners have made it easy for me to know I will be supporting them on a regular basis. I love the variety of food items, and the quality is amazingly delicious, and the ice cream is so cold, smooth & tasty that the Summer heat has met its challenge that I will use often.
Ive been here twice. Once for Ice Cream and it was great. Tonight for food. Thought I would give the handcut fries a try. Holy salt overload and they are literally over cooked. I know yall are new and there are going to be hiccups. Just a little feedback. Staff was amazing and on point. Ill be back. I hope next time the fries are not drowned in salt.

Waited a literal 45 minutes for 3 orders of fries, chicken tenders, and mozzarella sticks. The food was ice cold, and not edible (not to mention they messed up our order even after reading it back to us at the window). Very disappointing.
Mediocre food. Supposed to serve food until 8pm, went to the window at 7:56, ordered my childs ice cream, and by the time I ordered my food it was 8:01pm and was told they stopped serving food. All the while food was still being cooked, and all I wanted was something out of the fryers. Very disappointing, but I guess Its their loss and Pizza Time down the road got my business instead.
Always love mr.bills and was a frequent customer of theres ... very disappointedwith the way things are ran here , Absolutely terrible management of service of orders been there several times already and had to wait awhile for our ice cream and others that came after us were getting served their ice cream before us then some people in our party got their ice cream and others had to wait while they handed out other orders they need to get a better routine down and need alot of training ...where is the owner during all this ...wont be back for awhile thats for sure we will take our business elsewhere

Attended the first car show of the season. Will be held every Wednesday night from 6-8. DJ Andy will be playing songs from the 50s and 60s. Come and see some beautiful vehicles, good food, lots of fun, and an ice cream for dessert.

Just moved back to the area. was happy that windchill factor had a closer location so I did not have to travel to Ticonderoga. 15 mins from my home awesome. Don’t worry when I’m Ticonderoga will still stop there to 😁

2022-06-163rd time eating here once last yr and it was amazing the pork sandwich and the old swing set ❤️ kids loved it and their ice cream. Came a second time under new management we was told last mth food was good not great got over charged badly because kids at the window didnt take our order correctly amd waited a very long time i gave it another go today and ordered a burger and some sweet potato fries and a drink alittle over 15.00 and a wait time about 10 15 mins. Fries are great. Not sure what happened to the burger but this is definitely not good and not what i ordered.

2022-04-24Good, not great.Prices are higher than Mr Bills. They did add some new items to the menu. Michigan dog is tasty, feels like a beef hotdog. Its the sauce that has the flavor, would recommend that. Fries were hot and crispy.Melba sauce was super watered down. Unacceptable when theyre charging a dollar for it.Enjoyed my flurry. Nice texture on the ice cream. Average amount of candies, though I did get a few big pieces 😋

2022-04-15The ice cream was great quality. I cant wait to try the food next time! Although the wait may have been longer than desired, it was no longer than any others in the area. The family-fun environment was also very welcoming!

2022-04-14Everything we ordered was delicious, but I have to say the Michigan sauce was amazing - I have never had anything like it! We were pleasantly surprised that the food is fresh and made to order; well worth the wait. The girls at the window were very pleasant, and the seating area was clean. The mini-golf isn’t open yet, but we will definitely be back when it is.

2022-04-14Service was great for having new staff learning their job and even were polite and friendly although there was some rude customers that think they are at McDonald’s getting hockey puck burgers in 10 seconds not the fresh burger they receive here! The food was awesome and loved finishing up with a nice soft serve ice cream. Keep up the great work windchill!

2022-05-17Good...but if youre ordering food be prepared to wait 30 minutes. Been here over half a dozen times now and the kitchen is consistently slow. Not sure how the online ordering figures into this but it was happening the last time I was there.

2022-04-14Couldnt wait to try the Michigan, and it did not disappoint - it was amazing - perfect sauce!!! The new owners and their staff are doing a great job, the place is spotless, the food is great... Had a soft serve twist ice cream, and it was creamy, delicious and very generously portioned. Ive already scoped out the menu for my next visit. So good! And, the new owners are updating the mini golf course - cant wait to see what else they do. A fantastic place to spend a summer evening.

2022-06-19Im a home town Adirondack girl, I was tickled pink when The Windchill established Mr. Bills. Knowing Michigan hot dogs were on the menu. Il came opening day and have been frequenting since. Their food and services are on point, delicious, temped just right. The Michigan sauce is everything my childhood remembers being a sweater meat sauce, onions ontop diced small as they should be and the hand cut fries cooked just right. My Kids love the fresh burgers not frozen and the grilled chicken sandwich husband says is seasoned perfectly. Brings me back to my Dad taken the family to gènes Michigan stand when I was à kid. A must try.. yummo
