Drove all the way from the Falls to pick our own organic blueberries. The driveway is a little disconcerting because it is narrow and appears to be leading to nowhere. But we stuck it out, and eventually ran into a worker at a small table (unfortunately she wasnt exactly the friendliest). Luckily once we got into the field, there were so many beautiful, big blueberries to pick we forgot about everything else. We went a little crazy and wound up with just shy of 5 lbs. And it only cost us $9!! Unbelievable! Definitely worth the drive! Hit up homegrown kitchen on your way out of town for a healthy lunch!
Out strawberry picking today was expecting more fun unfortunately seems like you pick strawberries is ran like a military camp. the lady (jean shorts, white top, pulled back hair) pointing us around very rude making off-the-wall remarks not very happy that We as customers are expecting some type of customer servicing. Strawberries are good, why gave 2 stars
THE ORGANIC PRODUCE IS EXCELLENT AND THE SIZE OF THE ORGANIC ROMA PLUM TOMATOES ARE AS LARGE AS POTATOES. LYNN IN THE OFFICE IS SO ACCOMODATING, AS WELL AS THE OTHER WORKERS. WE NEED TO SUPPORT THIS LOCAL ORGANIC FARM, IT WAS A 40 MINUTE DRIVE FOR ME, HOWEVER DEFINITELY WORTH IT. VERY LARGE SELECTION AND SUPERIOR QUALITY. THANK YOU LYNN.

2022-06-06Used to stop here years ago, and visited today. I forgot how great this place is! Picked up my first local strawberries, so sweet! The blueberry muffin was still warm!

2022-03-05Poor customer service and quality! Totally disappointed with the customer service I’ve gotten from Thorpes this year. No one answers the phone or responds to messages sent to the farm store. I placed an order ahead of time and it was not ready when I arrived to pick it up. In fact, they didn’t even have my order pulled. We had to walk into a building and they filled my order while I waited. Why even bother taking orders ahead of time?!? The garlic I bought didn’t stay good. I stored it properly but it softened and shriveled up. Total waste of money. Very disappointed by my last few trips there. Won’t be returning.

2022-06-25I worked in North Java for almost 8 years. On my commute to and from Buffalo, I watched Thorpes grow from a farm stand with a small CSA, to a beautiful store open year round with baked goods and amazing products, and expanded spaces for the CSA. I can only imagine the hard work and love that has gone into growing this small family farm. Watching them grow on Instagram and providing our community with the highest quality. How wonderful that theyve grown so much that when I went to pick strawberries last month, the parking lot was overflowing. WNY is lucky to have places like Thorpes.

2021-12-28Great place to get your organic vegetables and fruits, as well as meats, however I wish they could spread some gravel on their parking area; its all potholes and mud when it rains, and dust when its dry. For gods sake they own a gravel operation.

2021-03-31Love this place. My sister have gotten a vegetable share for the house a few years now and its always good. So much. She got the fruit share this year and Im supper excited. I got a couple peanut butter cookies while she signed up and my god it was good. They are amazing. I think they put whole oats in them and the flavor is just wow. I would recommend them anytime.

2021-07-25Huh? Made a special trip to the farm yesterday due to the high reviews and was so disappointed. Store? Fresh fruits? Bread? Where?? If you enjoy hundreds of flies while in the store then thats your place I guess. Watched a customer ask a question of what type of pastry it was and the clerk smelled it in order to tell him..........I felt the two girls working there couldnt care less who came to the farm. You had customers wanting to buy but you had no product with a surplus of flies.

2021-03-23We came to the farm on a Sunday before the self-serve stand was open, but Abigail opened the store for us so that we could pick up some maple syrup and coffee beans. It was a real treat to hear about how the Thorpe family sources their products and their commitment to sustainability in every facet of what they do. We picked up the 3 Region Blend, which was delightfully aromatic and rich-bodied. The dark maple syrup, was robust and filled with maple flavor! The Valencia oranges (produced at the familys organic farm in Florida) that we picked up for the road were juicy and delicious. Thanks for the great experience!
