Super cool gas station that sells all kinds of live bait for all the species of fish that live in the st.larwence river and one of the best selections of artifical lures ive ever seen in a gas station/bait shop!!! Easy access right off rt 81!!! A must stop if your a fisherman all the workers were super helpful n knowlegable of all the species in the river!!! Great tackle shop!!!👍👍👍

Our crew loves to stop here. Large store with live bait , lures for other items needed for fishing. They have some gift store selections as well for so u even I or she by our favorite is seeing the mounted fish on the walls!! Great service and friendly staff.

My favorite bait store in the 1000 Islands. Everything I need and amazing staff.
Called last night asking if they had spikes in stock as I was driving two hours to fish Lake of the Isles. Phone was answered by a guy who could hardly speak and slurring his words, but told me they were fully stocked in spikes. Upon getting there, they had nothing in stock and couldn’t point me in a direction to find bait. Needless to say I will never return and will advise against anyone going as well.
Great place for all your fishing needs. Huge tackle selection along with river chart maps, camping items ,ice cold Beer, ethanol free gas for your boat,plus a Mobil station. Propane filling station . Dont forget the live bait.. fast friendly service by a Great staff and some exceptional fish mounts of some of the local game fish in the St Lawrence. Giant Musky and pike and the tackle to bring them in the boat...a must stop!!!

I always love shopping here. I find things I cant always find at other bait ships. Live bait galore. You wont be able to get your Canadian license here anymore however. I learned the hard way. I had to actually go to Canadian Tire in Canada!

Have been going to TIBS since I was a kid. They always have what we need for fishing. Right of the highway before you go over the bridge!

This use to be a great shop friendly staff great prices and information. The last few years the staff seem to be bitter and miserable and prices are jacked up. Its doesnt have the same local feel and any questions seem like a burden to the staff. They have a monopoly on the area so Im forced to go here. Next year going to bring most my own tackle.
Except for the guy that followed me both times I was in there to see if I was stealing it was a positive experience. Prices are not that bad and the sports drink deal was pretty good. Lure selection is next level.
Plenty of tackle and bait options available here. Staff are very courteous, with the location being very convenient to many of the Alexandria Bay fishing spots.
This store had both propane and gasoline for my RV. Propane fill service was prompt and friendly.

Just love this place. Stop in to get beer bait and tackle in a brown paper bag. Brown paper would hide the smokes from the wife and kids. Prices food always well staffed.
Second vacation in the area & stopped here, they did not have what I was looking for. The staff was curt & rather dismissive when I asked. Been in multiple times & if you are not a local, they do not go out of their way to be friendly.

2020-08-12Thousand island bait store has everything. Many different live baits and a very large assortment of lures. Rods and reels, I even picked up a net while I was there. Prices were also very reasonable. I will shop there again the next time in the Im in the thousand islands.

2021-07-09Been coming up to the Thousand Islands since I was a little kid and I have very fond memories of coming into this shop and picking out some lures for our weekends at Grass Point. Staff are always polite. Great selection of lures, live bait, snacks, camping supplies, and anything you may need. Super convenient gas station out front. Always loved this store!

2021-08-23Very clean bathrooms. From what I seen they have a huge customer base of fuel for fishing boats and vehicles that tow them. Great variety of fishing supplies, camping and outdoor apparel. Think at least 2 additional pumps needed on the property due to the amount of customers needing fuel this time of year. I desperately miss the firearms and ammo they use to carry. There is a vast variety of hunting in the area that would make it a great asset especially some local companies went bankrupt due to corporations selling out and downsizing.
