Thrifted in other cities:
This is one of my absolute favorite shopping locations in upstate NY. It is extremely well organized and very well stocked with cutting edge fashion. I always sniff out the 50% off tags. My finds have included a $5 VS PINK hoodie, $2 Free People shirt, and the best of all my $9 brand spanking new Bebe dress (but shhhh dont tell). The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. The location is very easy to pass by, but it is definitely worth the drive! This is pretty much my absolute favorite thrift store of all time.
Must say...i throughly enjoyed shopping in this little shop. Many wonderful brands to choose from. I walked out with a nice bag of goodies from my first visit...went back the next day and purchased more. The owner & her mother were super friendly. A must visit if ever in the area.

2022-04-02The setup is cool but this place is really nothing special. I can find the same things at Salvation Army or Thrifty Shopper and it’ll be cheaper. Most of the clothing is only a few years old. I called and there was no answer so we decided to drive there only to be disappointed at their selection of items. The staff wasn’t very friendly at all and ignored us until we went to leave. It’s a pretty neat place as far as atmosphere goes and it could have potential but honestly I’ll probably never return. It isn’t worth your time.

2022-02-24I have been in Watertown for a while but never stopped by the store. I went the other day and I wish I never did. The place is tacky and screams trying too hard. All the shirts worth buying are made into crop tops and their record collection is trash. That’s what happens you want to be trendy and don’t have actual taste. If you’re looking for the same quality clothing at half price go to Thrifty Shopper in town.

2022-02-24This place screams soccer mom trying to stay relevant and its desperation is palpable. Its entire premise is built on second hand vintage clothes that are trendy (which is already a contradiction) but when you actually look around, the pieces are worn through, old, and very 40 year old rocker chic, leaving the whole experience feeling like another overdone 90s basement trope. At best, its gimmicky and not worth your time.

2020-07-24This is a store full of smalls (really xtra smalls) and the customer service is lack luster. I must admit their set up is pretty dope and they provide a wide variety of clothes (but not very many shoes). Only if you ask will they provide a bag for your purchased items and also charge you 0.15 cents for a bag to carry out all your thrifty goodies. Issa no for me on the next visit!

2021-12-18What a terrible experience from start to finish.First tried calling them about a month ago, multiple times. No one ever answers. So I had to go in person. She told me I had to make an appointment. I told her Ive already called and messaged her on Facebook. She literally sent me away and said shell get to the message later. She wouldnt even look for it while I was there. Then the next day she got back to me and booked the appointment about a month out.I had a large suitcase full of mint condition clothing and beautiful dresses that I lugged all the way there. Only for her to go through it and take about 2 items.Because it was wasnt made within the last two years. Not to mention she was rude from start to finish. I was standing there waiting and she told me to go sit down. Didnt talk to me the entire time. No customer service whatsoever. I will never be returning and I wish I would have never wasted the trip on this place. I would give this place a 0 if I could. Mainly because of the owner and how she treated me. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Youre better off just donating it which Im going to be doing now that I wasted my time.

2021-12-07I’m not a big fan of the idea of making hand cut crop tops cost 7 dollars, when you could get them at a goodwill for .50 cents. none of the clothes caught my eye, and it didn’t look like trendy stuff just a lot of someone’s old forever 21. not many good size options either but it could have just been picked through. I feel like this is definitely a consignment shop (a lot like plato’s closet) rather than a thrift shop.

2021-08-16I agree with the other reviewers here, pretty lackluster. Nice set up, very well staged. But, the clothes arent vintage, theyre used, and from the past decade at most. Its an odd mishmash of modern clothes from a variety of stores like Target. Bummer that they cut all the tops in the store into crop tops.

2020-09-15Anyone who gives this shop less than 5 stars is trippin. I’ve pretty much stopped buying new clothes because I can get everything second hand and at a much better price here. Such a dope little spot filled with so many treasures. Not to mention it’s a perfect spot to take some pictures. The girl that runs it is a total peach too❤️

2020-10-05Has a large selection of records that are scratched and or the wrong record inside the wrong sleeve, purchased an Asia record trusting the correct record was inside and it’s ended up being Casablanca? I live a half hour away so it’s not even worth going back to return, don’t buy records unless you check each one yourself to make sure it’s right, and you don’t get a receipt if you pay cash? Shady.

2020-11-14I always make a point to stop into Thrifted because they stock the best stuff for insane prices. My teenager loves to shop here too! Make sure you check out the books and vinyl.
