We tried 3 other martial arts schools and didn’t like our experience. When we tried Tiger Schulmann’s RVC, we knew we’ve found our second home. The school is extremely organized and follows a curriculum. This school’s X factor is the Sensei, he knows how to work with children and teach them in a way that they listen, respect him and love him.I train, my husband trains and so do my children. It’s become a family activity that we look forward to.
Tiger Schulmanns Martial Arts (Rockville Centre, NY) is a close-knit, supportive community. The classes are fun, challenging, and great for any fitness level. The instructors are supportive, enthusiastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and care about their students. This has been a life changing experience for all of the members of our family. Each person has benefited from the exercise, the community, and the support. We have gotten stronger, healthier, and feel like we belong.
Tiger Schumann in Rockville Center is an experience for all ages. I started in my 50s. I look forward to classes. They are really fun. Theinstructors are so professional. Sensei, Sempai, Rawshawn as well as all the instructors really care about the students progression in and out. They teach how to protect yourself strengthen your mind as well as getting you into the best shape you can be. They are all wonderful and the students are all great and caring. Im happy to be part of Tiger Schumann RVC Its a real journey and a privilege.
Tiger Schulmann’s RVC has such a kind, patient and professional staff. My son looks forward to each class and is developing confidence as well as many other good habits and discipline that will transfer both at home and at school. I would recommend this location to anyone.
Tiger Schulmann’s Martial Arts has literally changed my life. Not only are you learning the correct techniques for self defense but they support you and are behind you like you’re family. I have lost 80 lbs since I started Training there 6 months ago. I feel younger, stronger, and more confident then I ever have. They are fantastic with my 8 yr old son as well. My son struggles with ADHD. Tiger Schumann’s staff and martial arts masters are both patient with him and challenge him to better focus and as they would say - “Be a Champion”. Best decision I ever made!
Yes I have been with TSK for 20 years .I have trained in numerous location and NEVER was disappointed with the training ..The instructors are phenomenal. My current home school is Rockville Center, Sensei Jobin teaches from his heart and soul . Our children looks up to him because of his positive thoughts,no fear and love for all .. Anyone that trains with Organization I promise you will never be disappointed...👍👊💪
Sensai George is so unbelievably patient and kind. My son only had his first class so far. But, for trial class and first class he walked in very anxious and upset since it was new for him. Sensai George was able to calm him down both times and turn each visit from fear to him leaving so happy, excited and proud of himself. I couldn’t ask for better. Looking forward to my son learning so much more.
Best school /gym for kids and adults for all age groups! Best training curriculum; best coaching staff no matter what your goals are! You will know by yourself @ your appointment with them!
I cannot say enough POSITIVE and AMAZING things about Tiger Schulmanns Mixed Martial Arts at Rockville Centre (TSMMA RVC). My son is almost one year in and my only regret was not starting him earlier. My son was always a good child but TSMMA RVC took him over the top. He has learned discipline, responsibility, focus, gained confidence, structure, self defense skills, patience, tolerance, respect, diligence, etc. Everything he learned has translated to all other areas of his world, most notably at school. He is focused and attentive and has performed even better since TSMMA RVC and Sensei Jobin George. Sensei is so patient and positive with the children. He teaches them valuable and meaningful life lessons which will serve them in all aspects of their lives. He encourages them to do well and makes sure that the children are performing well on and off the mat. Joshu and Manager, Natasha are so kind and supportive and make the RVC location a positive experience all around. Please give TSMMA RVC a try. You will not regret it and will only wish you started earlier. A whim decision to go in and check it out turned out to be one of the best things I did for my child. He loves class and looks forward to going. He respects everyone at the school and works hard to earn their respect and recognition. I never knew that MMA was an activity that instills so much positive attributes in its students. It is life changing in the best of ways. Run, dont walk.
I just enrolled my son into the beginners class and he loves it! Sensei George and his team are very welcoming and friendly. Scheduling an appointment at this location was a breeze and they offer weekend and evening classes which is really convenient.
In my son’s words, “Mom, today was the best day of my life! I love Tiger Schulmanns! And the thing about it is, even when we play games at the end, the games are still based on karate, mma and exercising!” He is seven years old!From my perspective as a parent, I loved the professionalism, warm welcoming attitude, cleanliness of studio, inclusion of all students, the one on one rapport between the sensei and his students, in my son’s case, as a new student. It has been an awesome experience thus far and to witness the smile on my son’s face and to see that joy exude from him is priceless!!
I’ve always been fascinated by martial arts since I seen the movie The Last Dragon when I was a little girl but never really went for it. I was looking for some fun cardio and came across a groupon or something and made the appointment for my first class. Needless to say I fell in love the first class! From the friendly staff to the fun but challenging curriculum, it’s an awesome experience I’m glad I committed too!
I stand by my five star review of this school! What does that mean? In this instance, it means that Ive spent over 10 years going to it. You dont spend 10 years going to something that you dont like! 💯 Approval rating.
I needed exercise and I hated going to the gym so I decided to try TS. Sensei George and his team are the best. They treat you like family. They condition mind and body to get you to your goals.
Tiger Schulmanns Martial Arts Rockville Center has completely changed my life. Before I joined the school, I was severely overweight and the most insecure person in the world. For the longest time, I was so unhappy and uncomfortable in my own skin. I’m in my very early twenties and I knew that this time should be my prime but a healthy life just seemed so out of reach for me. However, that all changed the second I stepped foot in TSMA for the first time. A friend had told me that a friend of hers lost a lot of weight from going there and I was willing to try it. Of course, I was very nervous because I was so terribly out of shape and insecure but Sensei George and everyone else there made me feel so comfortable that I continued going and loving it even more. I went from taking two classes a week to taking six classes a week and seven months later I’m 50 pounds down and learning something new there everyday. Everyone at TSMA is like family to me and they truly care and push their students to be the best they can possibly be. I highly recommend this school to everyone no matter what age or size you are, it is truly amazing how the classes make you feel. When people think of the term martial arts, a lot of people think of things like wood breaking. However, at Tiger Schulmanns Martial Arts it’s much more than that. The kickboxing classes are deep conditioning and not only are you learning self defense but you’re learning special techniques that people who don’t train don’t know, while getting a fantastic workout. Also, the strength routines that change weekly help you become even more stronger and stretches to help you become more flexible. Not to mention you gain a huge amount of confidence and life advice that I will truly carry with me for the rest of my life.
All of the instructors are great.They push kids to be their best and teach important moral lessons. We are very happy.

My son absolutely loves coming to class. All of the staff is friendly and motivating. He is corrected when needed. Lots of positivity. I love how the incorporate life lessons at the end.
They are the best school i have ever joined. They have been great with training and helping with any medical issues once informed. I dont know what else to say. They are awesome.
I like when the children in the 5-7 class are training, they are focused. Sensei George really knows how to keep the children focused and constantly moving. I also like how Sensei George takes the time to talk to the children about what they are doing and the importance of listening and following directions.
My 4yr daughter looks forward to coming to her class every weekend because of Joshu Natasha! She’s a great teacher!
All instructors are very motivating and friendly and will work your butt off. Great place to learn for beginners and to practice more advanced techniques. Excited to get back.

2022-05-26I have been with TS RVC for over two years. I have my youngest taking classes now as well. The team is amazing. Great with kids. Supportive of goals. The schedule is great for those with busy lives (Night, morning, early evening classes). Super professional and caring.

2021-12-22Tiger Schulmans has literally saved my life in so many ways. It is way more than a work out class. It is one of the best forms of self care. It is an art. It is a skill you keep working on and getting better at. It has helped my confidence tremendously, and when the instructors believe in you, you start to believe in yourself.You are pushed the exact right amount, as the instructors are very attuned to you as an individual and always are listening to you.It has turned my days around for the better on so many occasions.I am so thankful for Sensi, Joshu, and all the amazing talented and down to earth instructors at TSK.

2020-08-24My children have been at Tiger Schulmann’s Martial Arts Rockville Centre for 18 months. This has been a wonderful experience for them. The instructors are so dedicated to the success of each and every student. It feels like a family to us. 2020-11-03We joined to help my son learn how to defend himself and better understand his surroundings. We also hoped that he would gain some discipline through the teachings in classes. We are happy today with the progress made as well as the attention he receives from teachers. His confidence has spilled over to school and other activities. Studio is always clean and staff always makes us feel like we are all part of the Tiger Team.

2020-08-03Its been over a year that my daughter started taking classes and I must say that it was one of our best decisions made. The entire staff including the owner are very respectful, personable, attentive, friendly, discipline, patient, knowledgeable and professional. Not only are they teaching the students techniques but how to be great individuals in life and how to never give up. Tiger Schulmanns Martial Arts is a GREAT school.

2020-08-10The Sensai and staff are awesome!!!. My son is on the Autism spectrum, when he started he didnt know any martial arts. The level of professionalism and patience given to him and other kids is top notch. Sensai and his staff are awesome with the children and the passion for teaching shows in every class. The students love and respect them. My son is working on his next belt and so proud of how far he has come. Recommend this place 100%

2021-01-19Very friendly staff! My daughter absolutely loves going here and all the instructors are very nice and are excellent with the kids. They have a lot of options schedule wise and it’s easy to make up classes. I always recommend this place to all my friends and people I meet.
