I’ve shopped here for years, great selection and the staff is incredibly helpful
Inside is like tile heaven. Sales Rep Ann helped my vision come to life with her great ideas, and helped keep my bathroom renovation on budget. Placing the order was easy, its the nightmare that transpired after that warrants the 2 stars.The order was placed with the arrival date of the tile coinciding with the beginning of demo. Making sure I paid the remaining balance, the contractor went to pick up what we were told was ready, when he arrived he was given 2 separate dye lots, and that the order had to be placed again, how frustrating to have a contractor ready to work but is paused due to delays on someone elses part. I called the sales rep who was very apologetic on her end, and tried to resolve the issue with me finding another tile, so I went in that next day. Sadly there wasnt another tile that matched my vision. Ann then assured me that the new order would be in the next Thursday. I called the next Monday and was still given the assurance that we were on schedule. Thursday comes and I hear nothing from the place on my order, of course I now have to call them, Ann answers the phone, and tells me that the tiles were messed up somehow with the colors and they dont look the way it should have, so she couldnt let me take them, thanks. She then wanted to see if I wanted to place another order and wait on that arrival,at this point only a refund would be fitting.Not sure who runs this place but the communication and errors made are so unprofessional. This establishment is playing with peoples time and money. To have a contractor start working on a project, have to stop due to another companys error is insane. Throughout this bathroom renovation this has been the only issue causing stress. Long story short, Be cautious.
My wife and I were shopping for the perfect bathroom tile and couldnt find anything until we went to Tiles Unlimited. We worked with Alex who was knowledgeable, patient, provided great service and design ideas. Alex, you are a true professional, thanks for the great shopping experience. Highly recommend Tiles Unlimited, our tiles were delivered as ordered and on time despite making several changes during the build out.
This is the best place. The people are amazing and helpful. The products and tiles are if the best quality! Guidance, honesty and price are great! Don’t go anywhere else! I’m overjoyed with my bathroom renovation thanks to the help and beautiful tiles I purchased!
Karolina and Tiles Unlimited Are Great!I have a major bathroom redo project underway, or I should say two bathrooms, one the result of a plumbing mishap. I walked into Tiles Unlimited a totally overwhelmed novice. From the start everyone was wonderful in terms of time and attention, and I am so happy I ended up working with Karolina. She is so talented and creative but also great a reading people - she cut through the fog of my babbling on personal style to come up with designs that are gorgeous but also “me” and comfortable and timeless. And, I never felt pressured into anything in terms of price points or styles.
My contractor recommended Tiles Unlimited to me for the new floors in my house. I called the store beforehand and was advised that no appointment was necessary. They did tell me, however, to bring samples of my paint colors so that I could match the tile to my future walls. They were very knowledgeable with all types of styles, from classic to modern and in between. I ended up choosing a very modern 12x24 tile in a grey color. I love my floors now! My contractor was also able to get all of the grout and cleaning products from Tiles Unlimited as well. My tiles were shipped in rather quickly and were delivered to my house by one of the warehouse guys from the store. The whole process was extremely professional and efficient.
Weve had a great experience here at tiles unlimited. Joe was outstanding with customer service and remembering us and guiding us along with what would work with our small bathroom remodel. We would highly recommend him and tiles unlimited to anybody and everyone. Dont forget to ask for the free cup of espresso from their Nescafe machine. ;)
My husband and I were looking for kitchen floor tiles and had gone to so many different places and had almost given up on finding the perfect floor for us. We were not only looking for the color but also texture and size, after going to Tiles unlimited we were not disappointed at all due to the customer experience and selection they had! The trip to Queens was definitely worth it! Al took unbelievable care of us, we kept going back and forth from different tiles and he had all the patience in the world to show us different ideas and different tiles. He was amazingly helpful at matching the colors of our cabinets to the perfect floor. He was a great sales person, he was not pushy on selling the most expensive products but more on what would go great with our kitchen and making sure we loved it. I dont usually do reviews but this store and Al definitely deserve it. See him when you go in and you will not be disappointed.
I chose this Tile shop because of all the great reviews and their wide selections. However I am very disappointed in how they ended up handling my return of just four small boxes of tiles. I purchased tiles for a master bathroom and smaller general bathroom so it was just a couple of boxes of tiles. I came in with exact measurements of how much tiles I needed and they advised me I would need 20% more than what I measured so thats how they predict will be needed in case of wrong cuts/installation and maybe some would be nicked fien that all good and I was ok with it, but somehow they ended up ordering me a lot more of just one type of tile, more than 20% and after a couple of weeks when my personal contracter friend installed the tiles I was left with 4 extra boxes I had absolutely no use for as i even had 7 more single tiles left for any future nicks plus the 4 boxes i wanted to return. This is where their service fell apart and I felt they were being very unprofessional in how they reacted to me trying to return 4 boxes of these small slime tiles I think the total cost was only $150 dollars. That being said Im not in a point in my life to just be able to throw away and forget about $150 dollars. So I went in brought the 4 boxes and talked to one of the sales reps. it was a no from the start they refused to return the tiles even though the rep. that sold us the tiles tolds us they would be able to return them if needed. They claimed they could not return it to the warehouse they got it from and that it was past the 30 days return window, they never once told us that this can be the case they never once told us we could not return them and we were told no at every point that it felt like they were just trying to get rid of us and have us just leave because I kept asking can we talk to a manager or the owner maybe we can work something out and it was just rude no after no with no even thought or insight as what else we can do rather they seemed to not even want us to contact or speak to the manger/owner would not even let us talk to someone in a managerial position. Also they had the audacity to tell us to sell it ourselves on ebay or something and when i told them it seems a better idea if they kept the tiles and next person that order them would have them since they were new unopened boxes and them being a huge well reviewed tile shop they would definitely have someone else picking the same tile as we did but they just kept saying no and saying they cant get their money back from the warehouse refused to even consider selling the item by themselves all they wanted was a return to warehouse which they said was not possible in our case. In all such a big an reputable company would not help its local shopper in return a small amount of tiles that they ordered in excess and have the ability to easily resell rather they just noed us to hell and would not lets us even talk to a manager or owner.
Tiles Unlimited is easily the best tile store in New York City. My fiance and I walked in on a Thursday night when theyre open until 8PM. Alex helped us out with choosing the tile for our new home. We needed material for the entire house. He provided nothing but reputable and expert service. We were extremely happy with the way our new home came out. Were looking forward to moving in! I still say my favorite is the glass tile feature wall in our master shower.
I heard about Tiles Unlimited from one of my neighbors. I had tried Home Depot first, but, when I stepped into the Tiles Unlimited showroom, I was blown away. I was very pleased with the wide selection and dedicated customer service, something I didnt get from Home Depot. My sales guy worked with me in finding the most suitable tile for my outdoor space. I went home with a beautiful porcelain “Wood Look”. It was on sale, yet still of quality. I get compliments on the tile all the time. Thanks again guys.
Look no further..... just tiled entire first floor of our home, thanks to our amazing, knowledgeable and compassionate designer Francesca. From the first time we stepped into the showroom, Francesca was great. She listened to our wants and needs, and now we couldnt be happier. The floor looks great and the entire experience amazing. Ive purchased a lot of tiles over the years and I can affirm that this place has the best combination of customer service, selection and price point. I primarily work with Alex. He always remembers me and provides great customer service. No pressure to upsell, very patient, and provides very helpful suggestions. I do wish their delivery service would do better than curbside delivery, even if its for an extra charge.
With every project we have had, Tiles Unlimited has served us with much expertise, patience and the one on one attention which is very important to us.They have an amazing showroom - they display all of the latest styles and colors.We are currently redoing one of our bathrooms and the very creative staff helped us with all the accent pieces and trims to go with our tile. Bought my tiles for my kitchen at Tiles Unlimited from Alex he was so helpful and courteous that I went back to him for all the floors and bathroom I was doing in my house.Every person who worked there and I delt with was so nice from the man I got the grout from to the guys who loaded the tiles in my car was a pleasure to do business with.Let me add that it was at least an hour drive from my home each way.An absolute pleasure to do business with

2021-12-01I bought tiles for my kitchen floor and bathroom walls and floor from Tiles Unlimited. My experience with Francesca was beyond satisfactory; she was very kind and professional. She helped me pick the right tiles, to properly combine them and to select the right grout. I have visited several tile shops before and was feeling lost and helpless. The difference was huge wen I entered Tiles Unlimited. I purchased beautiful and high quality tiles at a very reasonable price. I strongly recommend Tiles Unlimited and Francesca!

2021-04-09My wife and I are renovating our bathroom and visited Tiles Unlimited after a recommendation from a friend. The owner Joe and his staff were amazing, friendly and very knowledgeable. The showroom selection is incredible and store layout is made it very easy to navigate. I highly recommend Tiles Unlimited for any project you have. Their prices are fair and they have a large selection of tile for every room in your home.

2021-09-28Our bathroom project was highly successful in large part as a result of the guidance of Joseph Pipitone. After discussing with him the look we were trying to achieve, he selected 2 different kinds of tiles for the walls and one for the floor which blended perfectly together. He also recommended a contractor whose work was impeccable. I would certainly use Tiles Unlimited again for my next project because it’s true, their tile selection is unlimited.

2021-04-30Huge selection, staff incredibly knowledgeable and polite. I sent pics of my kitchen cabinets for backsplash recommendations. By the time I arrived, the pictures had been printed and suggestions all ready for me. I quickly agreed to one of the selections.I was at this same location a few months ago for basement tiles, bathroom floor and wall tiles. I had emailed a few concept pictures. The staff was prepared with recommendations and easily guided me through the selection process. I only wish I had more rooms to do. It was such a great experience!

2020-01-14We cannot say enough AMAZING things about Tiles Unlimited and specifically Karolina. Our experience with her was amazing. First of all, their showroom is beautiful. I recommend just going to check it out. Karolina spent so much time looking over tiles with us, showing us configurations, making suggestions, etc. She was patient and kind when we told her we had never done a renovation or picked tiles before. She obviously loves design and loves to work through design ideas with clients. We wanted a green backsplash in the kitchen, but they didnt have the color we wanted so we went with something else. About a week later they got a new shipment of tiles and they had the color and she immediately called us to let us know. After placing the order for the tiles, she updated us regularly, and the delivery was seamless! We had to place extra orders for a couple of the tiles, and they came quickly as well. All in all, it was a great experience and I highly recommend Tiles Unlimited. Will update with pictures soon.

2020-01-26Tiles Unlimited has a spacious and modern showroom in Glendale near Atlas Park Mall.There is usually on street parking but they also have dedicated covered parking in their lot.Being a well known local provider of bathroom and kitchen tile, it wasn’t surprising that there was a steady flow of customers throughout our time there.Francesca assisted us and demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the product. She guided us through the process by providing options and offering suggestions when needed.I’ve always preferred and felt secure when I’ve purchased a product from an expert. Francesca was an expert and a professional at providing customer service. She didn’t have to make a pressure sale because we were already “sold” on her.Tiles Unlimited is the polar opposite of Home Depot and to a lesser degree, Lowe’s.Shopping in those Big Box stores, you are at the mercy of their unmotivated employees. You may find a genuine associate who will try to help but more times than not, you are left to wander around aimlessly and attempt to figure things out on your own.Tiles Unlimited provides a great experience where you’re not alone in tackling home remodeling projects. My wife and I actually smiled at each other when we left.
