Tim & Bonnies Pizza in other cities:
I was skeptical to eat here because there was no one inside dining, and most other restaurants are busy in town. The food was good, a little pricey. The only thing I didnt like was the girl working was cleaning which is great, but not when she was spraying chemicals on tables on either side of where we were sitting to eat. Im asthmatic as is my daughter plus that should have been done when we finished.
Stopped for a couple slices on my way south as its the only dedicated pizza place in Ellicottville. Thats lucky for them because it was mediocre at best. No fresh ingredients, no homemade dough, really nothing to set it apart from any other spot that just uses basic off the shelf ingredients from the distributor. Ive had worse but Ive also had far better, keep your expectations low and you wont be disappointed.
The pizza is generally decent, however the gourmet pizzas have basic ingredients, chicken, veggies, meats and Buffalo wing sauce. It would be nice to have more experimental flavors; pesto base, gorgenzola cheese, pear, gyro meat, tziki sauce, ingredients more worthy of the term gourmet!
So, I’m not sure what sort of expectations people have for pizza here, because the reviews are pretty good. However —- NYC style thin crust with a well seasoned cheese and red sauce this is not. More like Pizza Hut’s red headed step-child. Thick, hyper-generic, bizarrely flavorless cheese with, squishy greasy dough, and curiously bland tomato sauce. It was also burned, but I can’t hold that against the pizza. Think elementary school pizza, potentially made by the same individual whose job it is to adjust the height of the basketball hoop. ANY frozen pizza from the grocery store would be FAR better.
The wraps are fantastic, the taco was real good but not conventional, still very good. I had one slice of pizza and its to be expected to feel like a sponge after sitting under a heat lamp. Ill try a fresh whole pizza next time but for now, Ill keep going back for the wraps and tacos.
We absolutely love Tim and Bonnies pizza in Ellicottville. Its a must for our family when visiting. The food is excellent. The facility is clean. The staff is friendly. The prices are fair. The location is a little difficult to find, but once you realize that you are in the right area, you will never forget. Enjoy this local treasure.
The food is alright. There is nothing spectacular or to especially rave about. Typical kind of pizza joint with fried food, bowling alley, and small arcade (not worth the wasted money unless they’ve fixed many of the broken games). The waitstaff is what makes it, though. The girls are super kind and friendly.
Ordered pizza midday Saturday. Was greeted by a nice young women who was working the register. We ordered a pizza for takeout and were told it would take 20-30 minutes. I set a timer for 25 minutes, and when I came back it was ready. Everyone in my family loved it. Though we didnt eat inside, it was very clean and welcoming. They also had a large arcade in the back for children. All in all, a very nice hidden gem in Ellicottville.
We had a birthday dinner with my son and his friends. The atmosphere was great for kids and families. The pizza and chicken fingers were delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. And as an unexpected bonus, we saw Buffalo hometown hero Baby Joe Mesi who was also dining there that evening.
So we ordered from here because the menu came with our room when we checked into the Inn @ Holiday Valley - after a long day skiing we were famished - well assuming if the menu came with the info when we checked in that it would be on the quick side - that wasn’t the case we waited an hour and 20 minutes to get our food - I had two little ones that were dying to eat so it wasn’t pleasant to say the least - the food was decent and surprisingly warm - pizza ah ok - fingers ok - stinger was delish - but the waiting was redic
Just stopped here in town for a he evening and ordered a small pepperoni pizza from here. Turns out, that was a great decision. Pizza came to my room piping hot and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this place. I eat alot of pizza and this is one of the better ones that I have had. Great Job!
Im a bus driver not from the area. I ordered a large cheese, pepperoni, and Italian sausage pizza. The woman said it would be here in 45 minutes. It was here on time, but the crust was burnt to an almost crisp and everything within 1 of the crust. With the exception of that, my food was hot. I ate 2 pieces. Unfortunately I wont be able to reheat the leftover pizza because then the pizza is not going to be edible due to definitely being over done and too hard to eat.If any comes close to or within reason toNorth Tonawanda, I highly recommend a place called Good Guys at the corner of Nash Rd & Ruie Rd. Their pizza is oustanding, and their steak n cheese subs are incredible.
Thier pizza is mediocre,...at best. The crust is thick and flavorless. The price is WAY too much. A small for over $15 is too much. I get it Ellicotville is a tourist town. Youve created a pizza shop/bowling alley monopoly because psuedo rich kids need a place to eat kids food and the parents can drink. Do yourself a favor and goto a local bar where the pizza has flavor and the pepperoni isnt shriveled and burnt. Btw this isnt my first time ordering pizza here.
We ordered two pounds of boneless wings and the monthly sub with two orders of chicken wing soup. The price seemed high , so we did the math and then questioned the cashier about the bill. She said the price of the soup that was posted on the sign was incorrect but refused to adjust the price to the advertised price. I was also charged for two single orders of wings which is higher then a 2lb order as well as an additional charge for ordering honey mustard . I asked if we could order two different sauces the answer was yes but never told there would have to be two separate orders Dont visit this place unless you want to pay more then what they advertise .The cashier which turned out to be the manager had no interest in making the situation right .
Sat down to eat , an employee came over and said you need to wear a mask when your in here. I said but we are sitting at the booth eating. She said there is no dining in, I said we didnt see any signs saying take out only. Meanwhile 7 officers can sit in a group and eat without mask and two employees can make our food without wearing a mask.
After my parents had a terrible car accident and we were spending every day at the hospital, my aunt in Florida wanted to do something to help. She called Tim and Bonnie’s in Ellicottville and asked to purchase a $60 gift certificate for us over the phone. She gave them her credit card info and our name. When I called to order food for my kids and use it they said they knew nothing about it. Even the owner said he couldn’t help me because his employees wouldn’t do that. My aunt had to call her bank and cancel the charge. They were so rude and unhelpful and acted as though I was trying to pull some scam. We have eaten and bowled here more times than I can count but that won’t happen again. If I could figure out how to give zero stars I would. So disappointed that they didn’t even apologize for any confusion and offer to try to figure it out. Response was basically “oh well”.
On a job out in east otto and wanted food delivered (E-ville location). Said they only deliver in a 5 mile radius. I told them I was 5.5 miles away and they told me they cant. Unbelievable, driver couldnt go .5 miles out of their way. Would of given them the cost difference if needed. Not at all accommodating. Bad customer service.
I have always loved Tim and Bonnies. If you remember when you opened, you did up a flyer and I mailed it to a hundred fifty members of Southtown Ski Club just to let people know where you were. I have told many people about T&B over the years and have visited often. My house is loaded with the little prizes that my grandson has received from the games.Uug.Had a slovaci wrap tonight. It was great. Hope to see you soon.Mary Lou Dietrich

2022-04-08Pizza arrived 10 minutes early, which was terrific! Pizza was hot and taste delicious. Plenty of topping and evenly dispersed. Dough was perfect. Very polite and kind delivery driver as well. Will definitely be eating here again soon. Great job guys!

2022-01-28Thought this place was good because of reviews. The good reviews must have been due to the bowling alley (which was closed) because they couldnt havent been about the pizza. It was average at best. Doughy pizza shells with can sauce like you make at home for $5 not the $25 I paid. It wasnt even cooked the whole way through. My kids eat anything especially pizza and they didnt even finish a slice. I was excited to try this place but very disappointing.

2022-02-21This was the worst pizza I have ever had. It is tasteless. Why does ever pizza shop around here burn pepperoni? The cost to make this cant be more than $1..it is so bad as to be funny. It tastes more like something small children would make at a sleepover with no parental help.Yuck save your money.

2022-03-24Not sure what you should expect of the place. Located in a kinda sorta plaza with no apparent other businesses operational, off a muddy road with spec condos in various stages of completion, and lots of mud. The dining space is cavernous and very beat up, though clean. We sat at a booth and the springs in the seat were shot. My chin was higher than the edge of the table, but not by much. The TV seems to be promoting Ellicottville condos like the ones sitting in the mud outside--on the plus side I was sitting where I couldnt see it. But what I did have was the worst fish fry I have ever encountered. The pizza is probably ok, I have had other Tim&Bonnies, and the place was doing a steady take-out business. Nobody else was dining in, which did an admirable job of enabling social distancing. So not all bad, but on the whole a grim experience dining out. And they dont have beer.

2019-10-14We grabbed a pizza for takeout one night while staying nearby recently. We just had a small pepperoni and while the price seemed high for a small pizza it was more like a medium sized pizza. I really liked it while my wife thought it was average. The pepperoni could of been a little more uniformed but I would get it again.
