Tims Trim is the best !The remote start the dealer had them install failed after 14 months. They worked around my schedule to get the car in, as I live 50 miles away.They called when completed, and explained that they had found a diode wire had come off... so repair was on them, since they did the install! When i arrived to pick up the car, they went thru the functions of the remote, (the dealer had neglected to do so) and sent me home a very happy, satisfied customer!I would recommend them to anyone!!
Amazing first experience at Tims Trim. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. The end product looks amazing!! I would highly recommend them to everyone! We will be back to add some more accessories to our truck.
Went To Tims For WeatherTechs And Vent Shades For The Windows, Had To Wait For The Second Row And Cargo Mat.Now Were On Our 3rd Visit To Get The Back Two Vent Shades Installed And They Keep Sending The Wrong Ones...And Didnt Even Offer Us Anything Nor An Apology...$440.00 Just To Have To Keep Going Back...

I bought an Extang Solid Fold bed cover for my truck. shortly after buying it the top starting bubbling up. I took it back to Tims Trim and the guy set me up for a warantee claim, it was super easy. While we were chatting he told me if a company doesnt cover manufacturers defaults they will drop their product. A good company that will fight for your warantee.
Tims Trim is a gem in a time when its becoming harder and harder to find honest companies. Had a separate wiring issue that was causing my remote starter to become faulty. This was installed 2 years ago, Peter went out of his way to find the problem right away fixed everything at no charge to me.
Amazing customer service. Went to get my Remote Car Starter checked out because it was not working. Was welcomed with friendly faces and made sure I was helped as soon as possible. They brought my car into the shop that same day without an appointment and got everything fixed after a half hour. Super quick and efficient. I was still in the one year warranty of the Remote Car Starter but they didnt even charge me for the labor of looking at my car. Such a wonderful shop and I would 100% recommend to anyone looking to get anything done on their vehicle!!!!!
Getting work done on your vehicle can be such a hassle and still can be a crapshoot as far as quality and dependability of the product. I’ve had two different remote starts installed by two different places in the past and Tim’s trim is by far the best. The service was very friendly even after I arrived 2 hours late for my appointment. Peter and his team worked through lunch to make sure the job was still done that day and that’s why they get all five stars. Thanks guys! Customer for life.
Tims Trim, at this point, has modified 3 vans for me, and has been responsible for my mobility and my ability to get to and from work for most of my life! Robert, their specialist in mobility vehicles, is absolutely the best. Always responsive to calls, the friendly service people are also top-notch. I highly, highly recommend them!

My dad had recommended me to take my vehicle into Tims Trim because he had great success in the past when he had certain work done on his trucks, and said they had taken great care of all his vehicles. (Which ended up being the case for me as well.) I took my Jeep Wrangler in to have PIAA lights installed in front of each of the side mirror via KC highlight windshield mounting brackets. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly each time I went in. The turn out was exactly how I wanted it to be. They even took the wiring a step further than what was preciously discussed. Only adjustment I had to make was the angle of the lights. They had them pointing a tad down towards the road where as I adjusted them so they acted more like high beams. However they did inform me after the instillation that I could easily adjust them to my liking which is something that I really appreciate. I was also pleased to find that the switch was exactly where I preferred it. (We had discussed two options as to where the switch would be.) Defiantly going to take my vehicle back in next year when I can afford to have more modifications I want done. I would recommend Tims Trim to anyone who needs something extra on their vehicles. Today I took my 2017 Sienna to have a remote starter installed, at first I didn’t know what to expect, but soon I felt comfortable. I met Dan, the owner, and he treated me with respect and assured me that everything in his business is done responsibly and in order. The job was completed in less time than expected and a satisfactory job was done! I personally recommend this place.

I brought my vehicle in because my remote starter wasn’t working. As soon as I walked in the shop, their was someone helping me right away. They got my vehicle in within minutes of getting there. I couldnt be happier with the service and workmanship I received with my remote car starter at Tims Trim. Tim Miller has truly built a reputation for providing quality products and a professional staff.As I understand it, installing remote car starters on foreign cars can be quite difficult. Up until this point, I was under the impression that it wasnt even possible. I had this installed on my 2011 Audi A4. Pete, one of the technicians, did an excellent job maneuvering through the countless wires beneath my dashboard and it now works perfectly!! The range is unbelievable, I can start my car while Im at work, through several brick walls, and still get it to start from about 1,000 feet. The signal goes even longer in open areas. The device itself is about the size of a key fob with an LED picture of a generic car on it. When the car starts, a signal comes back to the device and exhaust starts to animate on the screen. Its pretty awesome. There are some other alerts you can program as well, such as if someone were to break into your car while its running. This handy little upgrade was worth its weight in gold this past winter. There was nothing like walking from brutally cold temperatures, right into a nice, warm car.The service couldnt have been better. I was greeted with a smile and Tim personally saw that everything was to my satisfaction when the job was done. I would highly recommend that any car modifications be done at Tims Trim...you wont be disappointed!!

Such great people!!! I purchased a truck cap from them maybe about 7 months ago. I was moving to a apartment and I had my truck loaded. Well my things must have shifted and broke the seal from my cap window which could of fell out. I called talked to Tim and he said no problem bringing in will take care of you and he did. Im sure that could have been a pretty expensive repair but because of his customer service repaired it for me and said have a wonderful day what a blessing!!! Thank you Tims Trim

I was looking everywhere for a special Tonneau cover I had seen on a friends truck.Tims Trim went through all their books and found it for me.They had it shipped and it was installed in a week. To top it off, it cost me less than what my buddy paid for his.Best customer service Ive seen in a long time.
Bruce walked me through all of the Tonneau cover options to help me make a decision. Then it was installed two days later and he took me through how it worked step-by-step. This is the type of Customer Service I like and expect from Tims Trim.My only complaint is that it took me 30 minutes to write this review because I was required to create a google account.

My last visit they dispelled some rumors I read about and talked me out of items I thought would upgrade my truck- they would not have. The workers here not only can trick out your truck or your Jeep; they are Wizards at modifying your van to become a wheelchair van.Each individual and collectively they have a wealth of knowledge, experience and helpful hints on what is best for your modified wheelchair van.The guy I work for for the last three years has replaced the Vans battery every year. The Toyota dealership gave us bad information. AAA gave us bad information. Theyre by selling us bad batteries that were overpriced.We live in Buffalo New York. But I called Tims Trim and they told us to go to Interstate Battery and get a minimum of 800 cold cranking amps and a gel cell battery. The van has never worked better.

Had a remote start installed Saturday August 18th, My truck was running at idle 1100rpms and was not as responsive. So I looked in areas I thought they would have done work for installation. Let me say I’ve been a auto/ heavy truck mechanic for over 30yrs. Anyway first thing I saw under the hood was paw prints on fuse panel. After further inspection I realized fuel pump 25amp fuse was missing and replaced with a lead with piggy back 10amp fuses that powered aftermarket parking lights that was originally plugged into rear trailer light fuse.WHY?.I replaced fuel pump fuse and put parking light lead back where it was originally and problem solved. So called technician said he would get fired if he used butt connectors. That fuse would have overloaded and burned out solid state circuit board fuse panel.

2022-01-10Outstanding service! Highly recommend. My husband is a quadriplegic, currently coping with multiple health issues. He has several medical appointments each week that he cannot miss and our conversion van is his only means of transportation. We suddenly had an issue with the wheelchair ramp failing to deploy. A friend recommended Tims Trim. I called and, without even telling him how dire our situation was, Peter was able to get me an appointment immediately. When I arrived, I was promptly greeted by a friendly gentleman at the service desk and our van was fixed within an hour. Peter even showed me how to access some important features on the van in case of emergency in the future. Tims Trim earned a new loyal customer.

2022-06-03Today I was at Tim’s Trim inc for a repair for my middle seats in my Dodge Grand Caravan that wouldn’t stow into the floor below, I also came in to discuss future modifications to my vehicle to accommodate my scooter/wheelchair the folks there were very helpful, knowledgeable, and fair in their pricing a part that cost over s1100.00 at the dealership they sourced for me and came up with a wonderful deal for me Peter and his team are sent from heaven. I look forward to working with them in the future.

2021-11-24Absolutely love this place. I got my remote start put in 5 years ago and it has worked like a charm every winter since. Car runs perfect with it. And when I lost my keys and had to get my new keys reprogrammed they got me in super fast even being super busy. I cant recommend this place enough. Very nice and honest guys.If you live in Rochester and dont have a remote start I promise it will make your life better.

2021-11-12My remote start in my 2016 Sant Fe was messed up by a dealership. It was installed at Tim’s Trim originally, so I went to them for help.As expected, they were courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. They fixed the issue and waved the fee because they’re just that customer oriented; they knew it wasn’t something I had done.For any service you need that they provide, Tim’s Trim is THE place to go. Shout out to Dan for great service!

2021-09-21I have used these guys for many years now. The customer service is like no other. They are NOT trying to stuff the most expensive option down your throat, they look at the need and offer appropriate options. You may pay a little less online but these guys have it going on. I needed a hinge for my tonneau cover and they came right out and sized me up for the correct part. Thanks guys!!!!
