The room was very nice and quaint. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was clean and spacious perfect for a weekend getaway. The breakfast could use some improvement. They had a lot available options for breakfast. We got the pancakes. They didnt seem super fresh. That being said we had a very nice time. It is reasonable for what you get. We would go back.
The room was absolutely adorable! It was clean and well-kept. The staff was very accommodating and the food for breakfast was good. We had a great time exploring the gift shop and did a lot of wine tastings and shopping. We found it very easy to get around and find what we wanted.
This was my first experience with a bed and breakfast and it will not be my last. This B&B was perfect in every way. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was great. Donna was very friendly, kind, welcoming and gave us a lot of recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. She helped make our stay even more enjoyable. The only negative thing I can say is that the wifi kept going in and out, which affected the TV. It was a very slight annoyance, but nothing to complain about. I will definitely stay at Tin Brook Bed and Breakfast if I am ever in the area again.
This is wonderful cozy place to stay. It is located in the Village of Walden, directly off higway 52. It is central to the town of Newburgh - about 10 minutes away- that has everything from a Walmart to a Home Depot and lots of great restaurants. The b&b is also very close to many beautiful hiking trails, open to the public farms, a winery and the Hudson River. The owner David is fantastic and very accessible if you have any needs during your stay. He also owns a great burger restaurant called Paulys Burgers that is a 3 minute drive from.the b&b. The food is excellent and a discount is offered to guests of the b&b. There is also a cute gift shop on the property.
Very nice cozy place. Its clean and quiet. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the breakfast wasnt much of a breakfast. I expected a variety, fruits, etc. Basically I had a choice between sausage and eggs or French toast. Otherwise the place was really nice
Affordable B&B. Not the most amazing accommodations nor food, but for the price, its reasonable. Easily half the cost of other B&Bs in the area. The parking lot entrance is not actually on Berea Rd, so dont take the turn, just look for Paulys burgers and that bright red barn-turned-gift shop.

2022-06-15Found this hidden gem by accident and couldnt be happier. I was visiting friends and family in the Orange and Ulster county area and Walden was a ideal central point. Stayed 6 nights at the Tin Brooks Vineyard room. the room was well appointed and very comfortable.David, the proprietor went out of his way to prepare a breakfast in the Tin Brook gift shop tailored to my less than standard breakfast fare tastes as well as pleasant conversation. He was always available to assist with any task or information that may be helpful to the enjoyment for my stay.I would certainly recommend the Tin Brook B&B for either a great weekend getaway of for extended stays as well. I will certainly be returning during my next visit to the area.

2022-03-15Awesome host with great service. Room is clean and good amenities. Especially, we love the refrigerator which has enough capacity to hold our shopping from local stores. We got a lot of fresh souvenir before going back to NYC.We came here in off-season for horse riding, and this B&B would be our go-to place when Fall season starts in this year.First, I would mention that the hosts response is fantastic. We often get frustrated for small things in typical B&B style because it is not 24-hours front desk hotel but the host really manages good quality of service during the stay. The room decoration is really nice and I would give credits that they paid attention to design with certain theme in the room. We stayed in a room called Strawberry Field, so I found many strawberry related decorations, and its always fun and we felt good vibe of welcoming to the place.Lastly, its fun to have breakfast in downstairs gift shop area. Their cat will come down and greet the guest.

2021-11-01This is a MUST!! My friend and I stayed at the Pumpkin Patch suite. It was so cozy and warm. David, the owner, was so great! From the time that I booked he had introduced himself via text and was very welcoming. Breakfast was better than any diner or restaurant we couldn’t ordered from! I will 100% visit again & bring family and friends. This was an amazing experience. Btw the pumpkin patch suite has a large bathroom, small fridge, coffee maker, & table.

2021-06-08Cant say enough great things about this unpretentious and comfy B&B. Breakfast was incredible and made with love; if only others offering accommodations could take note! Stayed in the Pumpkin Patch Suite and found it very warm and comfortable (included a jacuzzi tub in oversized bathroom!). Really great gift shop and cozy front porch. Near main highway, so there is some traffic and you may drive by accidentally your first time there. Close to Angry Orchard (also in Walden), Shawagunks, Newburgh. Short drive to Kingston for Maritime Museum and Hudson River cruises. All in all, a great stay. I highly recommend!

2021-10-22Stayed two nights at Tin Brook and enjoyed the accommodations and location was great for day trips in the Catskills! Innkeeper David has built a wonderful BnB with lots of rooms to choose from. He made us great breakfasts to start our day. Weve stayed at numerous BnBs and Tin Brook is at the top of the list for the money! Whod want to stay at a boring hotel when Tin Brook is available.

2020-08-04My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Tin Brook. We came in on our bikes, and were allowed to leave them for safety in a garage on premises. The rooms were clean and well furnished, bed was comfortable. There was a fridge in the room. We were allowed to make our own bacon and eggs, to supplement the conventional and standard continental breakfast. It was a great stay for a very affordable fee, and David and his brother and the staff were very attentive and kind.

2019-11-19Our stay at the Tin Brook B&B was amazing! We visited sometime in October at the peak of the fall season. The porch was very clean and inviting, decorated with pumpkins and a cute scarecrow! The house felt very cozy, just what you want from a bed and breakfast! My fiancé and I stayed in the Cranberry Bog suite and it was huge, super clean and had great amenities. They had a Keurig, a fridge and a microwave. The people working at reception and in the gift shop were very nice and accommodating! The gift shop had some very nice things, the owner’s mother (Nancy) knits them herself! We brought back some Christmas ornaments for my mother-in-law and she loved them! We ended up not staying for breakfast as we woke up late and had to drive back 2 hours, but the food smelled really good! They serve a hot breakfast in the morning! If you’re lucky, you may get to meet Nancy’s cat and she’s very friendly! Can’t wait to have a reason to stay at the Tin Brook again! And this time, we’ll be staying for breakfast!
