Stopped in today (May 21 2020) with my friend as we were in the area to get supplies for our farm. Service was incredible and provided many laughs and the environment felt very welcome. Like visiting family we havent seen in awhile. Both got the General Tso and it was absolutely delicious. Great place to stop in for a meal, the wonderful lady serving us even reminded us to grab our 2 liter that we paid for so we wouldnt forget! Do yourself a favor and stop in here for some food. Will be visiting again.
First time I went there was today and I was recommended by people. When I called the gentleman on the phone was extremely pleasant. You usually don’t get that from a Chinese restaurant.and when I went to go pick it up, the same way The food was the best Chinese I’ve ever had. I have about 3 meals worth! Will definitely be going back!!
Meh. Best of a bad lot. Alden has zero options for decent Chinese at least here you can get tofu. They dont deliver a dont wear masks, or at least when I go pick up food I never see a mask. But the food is ok. But very expensive. Too Expensive. There is often way more broccoli and sauce than anything else in their entrees. But, I do go there for the orange tofu, as I said it is the only option in this God forsaken Town of Alden.
We moved to the area 3 months ago and have ordered several times and the food is always delicious. The sauces are incredible and its all fresh ingredients. We tell everyone about the food and have introduced several people to the restaurant. We look forward to returning for many years to come.
This Chinese food was the best hands down. The portions were just right. The family was very surprised that it was REAL food. I am not a big Chinese food person, but this place will get my business all the time. My wife and daughter said this place makes them like Chinese food again.
This is by far THE BEST Chinese food I have ever had. I traveled all the way from Hamburg, NY with my family to this establishment. The food was very tasty and was piping hot which is rare at times in some restaurants. The won ton soup was excellent compared to others I have had. The staff was very friendly and made our experience even more enjoyable. I plan on going here many more times and trying different dishes. If the owner reads this post you will remember me....I am the Crazy Lady. See you real soon.
By far the best around. We drive 20 minutes there and pass a few other Chinese restaurants that don’t even compare. We have been going to these people for a couple years now. Everything is delicious and fresh, their sauces are AMAZING. They are the friendliest people and they really put their heart into what they do and they truly care about their customers. My 5 year old even loves it because he can sit and play with their son while we eat. :) the only complaint I would ever have is when they are closed on Monday’s we are forced to eat at the other place in town where the food isn’t even half as good. Tin Chi House is definitely the place to go.
Most of their food is really good. Savory and delicious. Some stuff can be a bit salty but that is few and far between. Unfortunately Their crab Rangoon are the worst I have ever had. They are all shell and less than a quarter of a teaspoon of filling in each. So I just wont order the crab rangoon again. With that being said. The staff is Top notch! Very friendly! Owner always has a smile. Best Asian food around for sure!
I’m not from around here, but me and my boyfriend stopped in, and it’s the best Chinese food I’ve ever had! The general tsos chicken was far meatier and tastier than anything I’ve ever experienced at home, and I am beyond impressed. The customer service was great. We got our food in probably 5 to 10 minutes, and the people were very nice. Hope I come through here again just so that I can eat here again!
I have a few friends in alden and they told me to check this place out. I live in clarence and well we dont have any good chinese food here. I ordered a general tso chicken and all I can say is 5 STARS. The chicken is actual chicken breast and the sauce is amazing. I also ordered the steam dumplings which I will admit werent that great but would give those another try(they were extremely busy). Keep doing what your doing you have earned yourself a regular!
Weve been eating here for some time and never have had a disappointing meal. I always have to bring half of mine home because the portions are generous. The service is excellent and the owners friendly and fun to speak with. We love their new place and wish them great success.
While eating here seemingly alone after a long shift at the Tops right next door, I ordered the Sesame Chicken and Wonton Soup, and it came quickly, and was very tasty. As I ate I realized that the family who owned the place was sitting down to eat dinner alongside me. A grandfather from the kitchen, a grandmother at the register, a son visiting from out of town, and his beautiful wife and child. Hearing them chat about their lives and the coos of their baby boy, and hearing them talk about their happiness made the meal here worth more than just the flavor and sustenance. A beautiful place, 10/10
Ordered General Tso with pork fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. Also a few egg rolls. Ive eaten at my fair share of Asian food places and spent time overseas in various countries including Japan and Korea. This food tops the chart!! Absolutely incredible. I wont eat anywhere else again. Friendly people and nice pleasant environment. Id give it 10 stars if I could.
Besides having great service both in restaurant and with delivery the food is amazing. You cant compare it to other places, the meat is better quality, the sauces are more authentic and flavorful, and you cant beat the portions for the price. Hands down our favorite place to order from.
This is a fantastic hard working family, putting out some of the finest asian food my wife and friends have had in years. I have not had a meal that wasnt over the top for flavor, presentation and generous in quantity. Its a little hard to find because the Town of Alden has a thing about signs use your gps but get here. Love these folks
While waiting for are order parked in front of there Main Window where Im assuming was the owner most occasionally look out and answer the phone that was there. Was sitting in the car with nothing else to do but wait and noticed her cough a pretty good although admittedly at least into her arm cough or sneeze from the looks of it. mind you they are the ones cooking the food! THEY WERE NOT WEARING MASKS WHICH I HIGHLY THINK IS UNACCEPTABLE! Weather the cough/sneeze was just nothing or could be the worst there is no excuse not to wear a mask in times like this especially being a restaurant. Food was not that great either honestly after waiting over 45min. Obviously this place does not care about whats going on right now and at least if nothing else could put on a cheap mask being people are going in to make orders. Just reckless not even trying to do anyting preventative to keep the virus or other germs from spreading. Last time I will ever go there.
To be fair we have our favorite Chinese restaurants that set the bar high, this one doesnt make the cut. This place is new so I thought lets give it a try.I stopped in for some takeout on the way home from work. The first thing that hit me was the prices. Im used to house specials being $7.99-9.99. Here it was $12.25-14.95. And where Im used to soup, egg roll, fried rice, and entree, this was just entree amd white rice. Ouch!If it was really good and a decent portion size, ok. But unfortunately it was neither. First and foremost fried rice must be fried. You cant just throw some sauce in it and say done. To be fair they called it brown rice, but in either case, it was tasteless and mushy which was the theme for all the food.I also ordered sesame chicken. It was pretty good, but the pieces were teradactyl sized. What happened to bite sized pieces? Maybe a different style but again the coating was mushy. A teaspoon of sesame seeds on top also does not qualify as sesame chciken. After the first piece there were no more seeds left which left it flat.Next I ordered crispy orange beef. I was envisioning nice crispy pieces similar to chicken wing style crispiness. Nope, big hunks of beef like the sesame chicken, and certainly not crispy due to the size and whatever sauce it was in. Most of the coating came off due to the sauce, so it was just chunks of meat in sauce. The meat was tender, but flavorless.Lastly was szechuan casserole. It was supposed to be chicken, pork, and beef, but it was 90% vegetables and sauce with hardly any meat. They asked me me on a scale from 1-10 how hot I wanted it with 5 being medium. I said, maybe just above medium at say 7. I Iike hot foods so I thought I was pretty safe. Holy cow! My mouth was on fire. It was not fun. It also had more vegetables than meat for sure and they were horribly over cooked. They should have been bright and crisp and instead they were brown and again mushy. The exception was the celery which was so fiberry that it was inedible. The staff was nice but it was confusing when everyone was waiting on me. I would rather have dealt with just 1 person. I dont know what it is with Chinese restaurants but the kitchen was all abuzz. The were arguing in English and it was a bit disruptive.I was very disappointed and wont be going back.
Very good service: our order was promptly prepared within 20 minutes and the food was delicious and in the sweet spot of savoryness while not particularly heavy or overflavored. The menu is comprehensive and informative (including indicators for particularly spicy items, great if you want to experiment) and is quite easy on the eyes as compared to some menus which use small, scrunched font to save space. Will definetily order from again if the craving for Asian strikes.
One of my friend went to this place and told me that the food is out of the world!!! The service is excellent and they had such a great time! I am looking forward to go there with my friends. The person who gave negative review, I know who he is...... so pathetic, wrote a fake review to your competitors website - nobody will believe it anyway. Just go away.......

2022-02-08Hands down best Chinese food i’ve ever had. The staff is friendly and the food is out of this world!!! The flavor and quality of the dishes are consistent and fresh and the prices are affordable. No where in Buffalo can match. Closed on Mondays but open for sit down and take out the rest of the week. Consider them for catering too! We have them cater for Lunar New Year celebrations.

2021-08-09This is the best it gets - HANDS DOWN!! It is definitely worth leaving the city and heading out to Alden to get to this restaurant. The menu is one of the best Ive seen and the food is excellent! You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what comes out - the dining room is always clean and inviting - Id suggest stopping by this place and trying out everything on the menu! If youre on your way back from Darien Lake to Buffalo, that would be the perfect opportunity! Enjoy!

2020-05-31I ate here for the first time yesterday. The food was impeccable, the service was sweet, and the prices are fair! I’m absolutely in love with this restaurant now. They find a way to make my experience more personable. When I called to place an order a very sweet girl who’s name was Maria? Mia? Maya? I’m not sure exactly but it started with an M! She picked up immediately, introduced herself, and since I was a new costumer I had no idea what was on the menu. SHE HELPED ME FIND THE PERFECT DISH BASED ON FLAVOR PREFERENCES AND OTHER FOODS I LIKE! It made me very happy to have talked to someone who took the time to care for my meal individually. When I got in she asked me how I was and was very sweet and bubbly. The food is amazing, the service is impeccable, and I will be back here every time I crave some good food.
