Firestone Complete Auto Care in other cities:
Very disappointed. I have been coming to Firestone for over 30 years. Bought all tires for all my cars and spent thousands in repair work. When I came in for my tire change they told me nothing about a charge. When I picked up my car the charge was $80.00. when I bought the tires I was told the change over would always be free if I had 2 sets of their tires. Earl told me the policy changed and they no longer do that free. He was very nice about it but it irked the hell out of me. A promise is a promise and when broken by being surprised is even worse. I will have to consider a new place to get my work done.Loyal Customer Royally Disappointed
Was completely screwed over by a completely incorrect estimate on my 03 civic Si in May 2019.Paid $120 for the estimate, was told that the engine had bad compression on all cylinders and that I needed a new block. Quoted me over $5000. Towed the car 300 miles down to Tarrytown, NY for a family friend mechanic to take a second look free of charge. The idle pulley on the serpentine belt had a bad bearing. A $30 fix. Compression was fine. The car still commutes daily. No engine issues to speak of. They didnt even bother to TRY and start the car or at least crank the engine, or even take a look at the serpentine belt. This was the most scummy mechanic experience Ive ever had. Dont bring any real work here besides your tires. Picture attached is the car that they tried to total over a $30 VISIBLE part.
Went on line to schedule an appointment and they called me pretty much trying to convince me to not take the appointment because it would take too long for a patch in a tire and I would have to wait many hours. Then when I told them it was covered under a warranty, he said I would need to come in during the week to process the claim because you couldnt on weekends, obviously not true. Then I called back to keep appointment and they put me on hold for 20 minutes and never came back, now I kept calling back with no answer, just hangs up after about 2 minutes of ringing.
All the guys here are great! I came in to have my flat tire repaired and to have my snow tires put on for the season. The gentleman I made my appointment with over the phone was super friendly. The mechanic that took my car was knowledgeable and polite and kept me informed about what was happening to my vehicle in the shop. I was at this location for about two hours but the customer service and attentiveness of the associates was worth it. The prices of the services and labor were also extremely fair and didnt hurt my wallet as much as I thought it would have. The tech that cashed me out was also very friendly as well and we had a nice chat about his newborn grandson. From beginning to end, my experience with this store deserves all the stars and I only have good things to say. I will definitely be coming back in the spring when I need my tires rotated again! Thanks guys!
They dont know what theyre doing. Very unorganized. I came to drop my vehicle off after making my appointment and was told that they dont make those types of appointments on the weekend. So obviously somebody did not write it in the notes. Just knows likely youll get screwed. I literally called an Uber and now I have to pay a fee because I have to cancel it. Because Im not leaving my vehicle.
Came right before store closing. The sales associate was very pleasant and respectful. He contained the ability to accommodate my needs with the time restraint and the peculiar size tire. I was highly impressed with his demeanor and professionalism along with his overall work ethic
One of the best places I’ve been to for car service honest and fast service I went in for 2 tires on my 20 year car and they treated my car my car like it was new. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for tires or car repairs. Would highly recommend scott who is the store manager who was really nice and honest with me !!! Would recommend 100%
Do NOT get an alignment from this place! They should not be doing them. They said My rear toe adjusters were frozen up so they couldnt align the rear tires, and they said the front couldnt be aligned because of relatively new struts were still too stiff, after I paid them for it. My regular mechanic got the rear toe adjusters freed up, and no one, and I mean no one, ever heard of the struts being too stiff to align. Fortunately the Thruway Plaza store did the alignment with no issues. This store is corny.
TERRIBLY BAD MANAGEMENT AND WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE!! Want to rate ZERO...... RECOMMEND NOT TO VISIT THIS AUTO SERVICE STATION .My Brake maintenance service was done here few months ago. Last Sunday, observed some noise and contacted this auto service center and received an appointment for 07/02 at 01:00 PM. When I visited they said no appointment was scheduled on my name and come back next week. The Front desk Service manager was so RUDE and was not even ready to hear my problem. My car was in a terribly bad shape... In spite of requesting to accommodate my car service he asked me to leave the building and was arguing to come back next week. Never experience such an worst Customer service .
One of the new tires they installed was deflating all the time cause the wheel was not cleaned and grinded where needed before the installation, so because I did not go back to them immediately to mention it, they decided to charge me again to fix it, even though I was not able to with my schedule to set up an appointment right away, especially that my son was admitted to the hospital few times, and with the corona virus going out of control. That is how they treat a regular customer.
They are wonderful with their service. They do their best to get you out of there in a reasonable time. If you can, apply for their credit card. That has helped me a ton whenever they had to do major repairs.Update: There was a reoccurring issue with my headlight going out so they put that headlight on a warranty so now its free every time I need it to be fixed. They are pretty great!
Excellent service as always. They dont push you into all kinds of things you probably dont need. The best part is the communication. I get an email with what they are going to do, an email when they are done with a list of what they did do. Very happy with their work.
This is a horrible place. I bought 4 brand new tires from them. They did not balanced the right. When I drive in the highway the car is waving. Even if I hit a bounce it supposed to the right and left. When I went back to them to do the balancing and they want to charge for it. Then I went to outside local mechanic to do the balancing I see that they didnt even clean my rims and router.whenever you do work for your car to them make sure you check it.P.s. at end the work done by pep boys next door.
Horrible wait time even if you go in with appointment. I only went back to talk about my punctured tires which were installed by these people. I lost 3 out of 4 tires they installed in 6 months. The guy was very rude to me because I did not purchase an insurance. I drove my car with original tires for 3 years without a problem and these either ran out of tread or got punctured from the side. Within 8 months I had to replace all 4 tires from my dealer. Will never return to this place.
I’ve been going here for a very long time. Last time I went they messed up my car. The staff in the front were always on their cell phone. When I changed the oil, the mechanic left the oil cap open. Oil was spilled all over my engine. They didn’t close the hood of my car when they were finished. The filter wasn’t changed as as well.
Re: Mar 13, 2019; 995 Niagara Falls Blvd location: George S. Took care of my call and customer service. He was very thorough, understanding and helpful. Adam did the work on my car, he was fast and did a great job. Very happy with the work. Ive been going to Firestone for 10 years now and Ive always gotten good work at a good price. Ive tried going elsewhere and have been taken advantage of and overcharged. Firestone has treated me well always, and been there for me in emergencies as well. Having only one car that I share makes it important to have people understand. They also ask before doing any work, show you the price upfront, and as long as its safe, allow you to decide if you can afford the work. Which is very appreciated. I have recommended them for years and will continue to do so. ~Shannon M Cioch
If I could rate a 0 I would. Customer came into my location stating he just bought the new tires in January tires measured at 9/32 and awd specs is 3/32 of a new tire to replace 1.tires he has come in at 11/32 . Sales person in front stated that he measured tires and they were 5 when I measured them in store at 9/32. Customer was very unhappy because the sales rep got him for all new tires and that’s not right and is not the right customer service. Tires were not even at wear bars and obviously when a tire is at 4/32 they are at wear bar. I feel like this customer was taken advantage of because he did not know the specs that his vehicle called for when he should been able to replace only one tire
I had 4 tires changed and stopped in 3 days later to have the lugs checked. The sales person was nice and came right out with the torque wrench to tighten them. Nice customer service. I have been impressed with Firestone service and will be back for any service I need that they offer.
Had new snow tires put on and a rear light replaced. After leaving we noticed my rear light was never replaced but still charged. I then returned to the store to have it actually replaced. After 2 hours waiting I was then told an oil change needed to be done and another light needed to be replaced. I asked why the other light wasn’t checked last time. The rep stated he didn’t know because he wasn’t here last time, I then asked to charge it to the store card and stated that he could not because my husband wasn’t present as the authorized user. I then asked for the rep to call my husband and he continued to explain it was against policy.I’m sorry but I have now waited for 2 hours for the light to be replaced. I have a 4 year old waiting with me and becoming impatient as well as myself when originally when my husband was told specifically it wouldn’t take long and to bring the car in whenever. In addition to the long wait, new things apparently wrong with my car, the rep was rude and unwilling to work with me as a customer. My husband called asking to explain the situation to him and again the rep was rude and not understanding. He continued to say he was not there and this is what he is now dealing with. My husband asked to speak to a manager however the rep stated he was. I’m sorry but Firestone needs to train their managers on how to communicate with customers appropriately. Unfortunately we will not be returning.
I brought my work van in for its 20k mile service (oil change, tire rotation and overall inspection ) without having an appointment, that being said,David (manager) was polite and professional. He got my vehicle in almost immediately with no issue. The service was fast friendly and pleasant. I will be bringing my 2 other vehicles in to this Firestone. And the added bonus is that I dont have to worry about them forgetting to put the oil in the engine before they start it up like they did/do at that other instant oil change place that rhymes with valvoline....... (im not joking)
One star is even pushing it. I went to this location because I thought my alignment was off for I had hit the curb one day. I thought lifetime alignment was a good idea so I chose 189 lifetime alignment.30mins the work was done and the manager gave me all the paperwork and some recommendation quotes. Wait, where is my alignment sheet? Reluctantly, the manager pulled out the sheet. It was all green before and after! This means they only lift it up, gave it a check, put it down and charge me 189.If a company is conscious enough, they should ask if I really want to do it because I did not actually need it. On their website, they also offer a free alignment check. They could have do this to save a return customer. So never again with Firestone, of course I am going to do my lifetime alignment there, but other services? Not a chance.
God forbid if you have to get service from this place. I had the worst experience of my life here.JASON is the most rude and racist guy Ive ever come across in my life. Here are some glimpses of the conversation I had with Jason:Me: Im here for my appointment at 10am. Let me show you the confirmation email.Jason: I dont care whats on your phone. I only care whats on my computer....He then kept me waiting for over two hours during which I never talked to anyone, I was simply sitting in the waiting area.Later when I went to inquire how far along the work on my car is, he said these exact SHOCKING words: I dont want people like you in my store. He then went on to inquire which country I was from and what I was doing here in the US and how long I have been in Buffalo!!Right from the first sentence he spoke to the last, he was rude and being racist.Overall the tire replacement done by the technicians working on the car seems to be good. Absolutely no complaints there. Please do not go to this place. Any other place in the area like Pep Boys or Mavis or Dunn or Mr. Tire, or even any other Firestone location would be a better option.I hope the manager sees this and gives Jason some mandatory lessons on some basic human decency.
This Firestone compared to other service centers is exceptionally run well. When taking your car in for service it really helps to explain all the details what it is you want Firestone to fix. I went into plan for my next selection of tires for my Jeep Liberty that would endure my rather aggressive driving style and wanton disregard for potholes. They were able to select a tire that fits my needs perfectly. When I was setting an appointment up to have my AC system checked I described everything that was serviced on that system prior to me bringing it in for service. Fearing that a generalized fix my AC Service would cost me hundreds upon hundreds of dollars they were able to advise a diagnostic routine that would cost me far less than any other shop in the area.
Really friendly here, but just as any other Firestone they are trying sell you stuff you dont need. I took it here for a NY state inspection, they werent very thorough, I had known my serpentine belt had cracks, they told me that it was good enough to pass, but they didnt catch anything else, of course this old jeep is on its last legs I wasnt complaining that they failed to check if my emergency brake would hold (which it wont). They could have got a good $400 out of me by checking that. They need to be more thorough with inspections so that peoples cars are safe to drive.
Lifetime alignment has to be the biggest scam this place is running. I scheduled an appointment for an alignment and an employee (wish I remembered his name) called and said I had to bring the car in at 7am and leave it for the day because it was the busy time of year...ok fine so I rearranged my schedule and dropped the car off first thing. As I was getting back out there to get my car at 5pm I get a call that they werent able to work on the car even though I had an appointment and was the first car there. When I get there, the worker claims they dont give appointments and I should come back when im ready. Umm I was ready this day at the appointment time YOU made me take and gave you the car for 10 hours?! Clearly they didnt prioritize my car because they already got my money.will not be going back and neither should you.
This was my first time to this location and we will NOT be back! Jason was helpful, nice and explained all repairs that were needed to my boyfriends car. The reason for my three stars was for the other employee in the shop. It was busy when I came in and Jason was up front alone. The other man (an older gentleman) was in the car garage area smoking an electronic cigarette with other employees while they smoked regular cigarettes. I was disgusted that not only did i we have to wait until his smoke break was over, but that we have a child with asthma and had to worry about our vehicle smelling like smoke. It was unprofessional and frankly, disgusting.
Customer service rep, Dave was really friendly, helpful and knowledgable. He listened to my needs and tried to help me as much as he could. He explained me what was wrong until I could fully understand and kept updating me with the progress while I was out of town. I completely trust him, and I would definitely go back when something happens. I confidently recommend this store.
We are from the Toronto Ontario area. On the Presidents Day weekend, our vehicle broke down with a coolant leak. On AAAs advice it was towed to this Firestone Centre, where they agreed to make an immediate inspection. We had hoped for a simple repair, suspecting a small coolant line leak or clamp failure. After two hours in the shop, they advised the problem and quoted 8 hrs labor plus $147.00 for a small hose. They said it was a difficult job and they were uncertain the repair could be done by next day and the quote was $1100.00 US. Our good fortune was to have Premium CAA/AAA membership and we rented a hotel room and had the car towed back to Canada on the Monday. The repair was accomplished locally for $385.00 Canadian - to do exactly the same work as quoted by Firestone. These people wanted to take advantage of a stranded motorist who they expected had few other options. This story will also be shared with AAA who recommended them. Disgusting.
Went in to get a flat tire repaired. After examining tire realized that it was not repairable. They put the 1/2 spare on, bagged the tire and rim so that I could get to the Lexus dealership. They charged me NOTHING!!THANK YOU!!! PLEASURE TO SEE HONEST CARING BUSINESS PEOPLE!
I wouldnt go here for car service, tires might be okay, otherwise I would pass if I were you. I went for brakes, I called before and was told completely different prices than when I was there. The guy working the counter had no idea what was going on, he originally charged me over like $300 more than necessary. Good thing I knew what was going on and stopped him while he was doing it.This place is not somewhere to go if you dont understand cars, you will pay way more than you have to, go elsewhere.
I went in to inquire about some tires for my son and to my surprise the young man was very helpful, informative and understanding. I tend to ask alot of questions when its something I dont know and especially when it comes to my kids and he was patient with me, even though there was alot going on. He had to answer the phone several times to deal with questions and customers begin to come in as well, so he was juggling alot but still made me feel important as a customer. I own several businesses and am big on customer service and he was exceptional! At some point he even acknowledged the others in the line to ensure there patience as well. I left feeling well informed to now go back to my son and make a sound decision for his car and definitely will like George deserves the job because I will be well taken care of and receive the best service necessary.
If I could give it 0 stars, I would. I made an appointment because I needed my brakes changed and they quoted me nearly $800 because they claimed I needed the rotors changed as well as the brake pads. How could that be on a 2017 vehicle? Not only that, but if I were buy front and back brake pads and rotors myself, it would cost less than $150. Theres NO WAY labor costs that much so clearly theyre marking up the cost by a lot. Not only that, but it was made clear to me that they lied straight to my face because when I went to another mechanic, he said the rotors are perfectly fine and would last many more years. The irony of it all is that while I was there, there was a sign on one of the walls that said something along the lines of honesty is the keystone of success. Clearly, its only there to throw customers off and rob them of their money. Shame on you.
Came in 10mins before my scheduled appt and the first thing the customer facing person said to me is “I’m doing 5 things at once” he then proceeded to try to check out a customer that involved exiting the customer area no less than 6 times only to re enter to leave again, finally cashed her out, by this time I’m 20 mins after my scheduled appt then he takes paperwork from a tech and starts to cash out another customer. I waited 30 mins total not to have even been addressed properly all the while watching the techs meander the shop presumably waiting for my car to come in. I walked out went across the street and bought the oil and filter myself for $35.
I will not be back, and heres why.I took my Hyundai here for diagnostics, and told the customer service rep, Dave, that I had recently replaced my spark plugs at Sears Auto down the street. It turned out my ignition coils were bad, but Dave insisted that Sears had given me the wrong spark plugs, they would not work, and to demand a refund from Sears. So, I went to Sears, and they showed me step by step how they ordered my plugs and showed me the Autozone website that confirmed they were the correct plugs for my car. I did not ask for a refund because they had done exactly what I had asked them, i.e. to replace my plugs.I went back and told Dave this, and he at this point knew he was caught in a lie and admitted that yes, the plugs I had will work, they were just a different brand. But oops! Too late, the work had been done. I dont mind paying $25-30 for new spark plugs, but I DO mind being lied to in order to sell more stuff. I am very disappointed that they think this is okay.I can say that they gave me fast service and my car is running fine for now. The techs do a fine job. Still, I wont be back with customer service like this.
The person working watched me walk in, waited until I was at the desk, then picked up the phone to call another customer back. Strange, no big deal. I brought in the exact needed part from Motorcraft with the tag still on it. He then refused to do a job requiring the replacement of a leaky heater hose unless I allowed firestone to purchase. When asked where I could go, he just shrugged, trying to get me to get firestone to purchase the same part and do the job. Pretty unprofessional.
Workmanship is pretty good but don’t bother scheduling an appointment because they are bad with timing. Example called up st 8am asking if they have time for an oil change today. I was told I can get you in at 10am. It’s 11:20 still not complete. Excuse was short handed again but not the first time I heard that. I would have thought the would have known if they were short staffed when they scheduled it. Reason for low score
My daughter found an almost flat tire after school at UB. After several calls to places, Walmart, Monroe Tire, etc , Firestone was the only one to help. The fact they were closing within the hour was not an issue, as was several others. A tire plug takes roughly 15 minutes at the worst. One of the places she stopped, Delta Sonic auto in Amherst put air in it and told her it should be safe to drive 25 miles home....Really ?! Well, DAVE at Firestone was the days hero. She actually needed a tire, as the tire was not repairable, and they replaced it. The price was great and the service was great. Was kind of shocked when Monroe or any of the others wouldn’t help a stranded college student. Absolutely not cool ! Thanks to Dave for helping my kid ! A real pity that, on the average, customer service sucks everywhere. I vote Dave gets a raise.
I went into Firestone because my back tire seemed to be losing air slowly. I went in and they told me it was going to be awhile. When I said I would go somewhere else then they told me theyd get me right in. After waiting 45 mins the guy came out and said bad news there was a nail in my tire and it needed to be replaced. I said okay thats fine to which he said I needed to replace all 4. I asked why because my car was a year old and I had just had it serviced and they said my tires were in great shape. He said no they are worn and I need the treads the same. I didnt think it sounded right so I said just put the one on to which he said he cant sell me just one. After getting on the phone with the dealer he came back and said he could sell me just one but it had to be the one specific tire (not the same as the one on my car). No thanks! I left and took it to the dealer who said my tires were fine and just the one needed to be replaced. While I was at Firestone there was another lady who overheard me and said she came in for something completely different and they were trying to make her buy 4 tires. I dont know if it was because we were females or what but DONT GO HERE! They will just try to rip you off and sell you things you dont need. Oh and they also give a $10 incentive to anyone who gives them 5 stars on here so that is the only reason they have a decent rating.
You know I usually dont give any auto mechanic Place five stars but on my last visit it was a five-star fix and I strongly feel that they did everything in their power to get my car done as quickly as possible and as a fordable as possible they did fix one thing and it turned out to be something else too but when I told them the car still had a part warranty on the part that might be broken instead of offering to fix it and charging me three or four hundred dollars they paid to have it towed down the street to a Northtown dealership where I got taken care of within a couple of days but overall my experience was very good and I feel they werent lying to me at any point. Which is always a good thing with car places.
I highly recommend Firestone on Niagara Falls Blvd. In the last week, Ive had two fantastic experiences there. Last week, I woke to a flat tire that was unfixable. I got there at opening, and David and his team go the tire replaced quick enough to get me to work on time! Today, I came in to get brakes replaced. David and his team did the inspection, and then notified me right away of what needed to be fixed, timeline, and cost. They were also helpful when it came to financing, and informed me of special interest rates that allowed me some flexibility to pay for these sudden expenses. Thanks to the Firestone team for all your help!
I went for an oil change last week and they tried to scam me out of a few hundred bucks, saying I needed to replace a CV shaft along with multiple other things. Just took my vehicle into my dealership for a full inspection and nothing was wrong with my vehicle other than a torn wiper blade. This also took less than an hour, as opposed to Firestones 2 hour oil change With an appointment!
Staff is friendly but all to often you catch their pitch. No matter what you go in for they have something else you need to buy just because. It quickly becomes about sales. Waiting room is not bad. They have a tv which helps with time but never a good channel. If you get their card, they will quickly go after everything they can even if you dont need it.
If I could put a negative star I would the service does not deserve even a star! I called the wrong location the man that answered was so nice I decided to make the appt to this location. We walked in for service for an 5;45 appt the customer service rep, George totally ignored us he took care of another lady and stalled completing her transaction by telling about his upcoming trip. I’m standing there with a cane he would see my wheel chair in the car. He finished her then answered the phone instead of putting the call on hold to take us in as we were on time for our appt. he continued talking to the person on the call at this point we were feeling neglected we left he never acknowledged us. We left and went to a much friendlier customer service at the Eastern Hill location wow we should’ve came here first! George could’ve learn a LOT from Andray Rammarain he apologized on the horrible service we received at the Noulevard location!!I would never recommend going there as long as George works there!
Been trying to find a good shop in amherst for a while after recently moving up here. I ONLY bring my cars to this shop, great service and Dave is amazing. He always makes sure my fiancé and I get in and out quick and it’s one of the few places where I can trust that when she goes in alone they don’t try to rip her off with parts or services she doesn’t need.
Took vehicle in with a video of what it was doing - smoking belt - looked to be at the base. Well paid for the pulley diagnostic to see which one was causing the issue - came back that I needed a new condenser / pulley. Got a bit of sticker shock when I was told that it was going to be $1100! Called a local shop that my father in law trusts (hadn’t before because I was nervous of the cost to tow it to Lockport). Well I called with the results of the diagnostic and was quoted over the phone for $500 tops. Well had it towed out and in the end it was completed for $458 out the door - when picking up my vehicle from Firestone after the diagnostic I was asked about a quote from somewhere else and when I said $500 the manager laughed and said “wow not sure how.”Well after it was fixed the mechanic that fsaid a
Nothing worse than having a tire problem 14 hours from home. But Dave B. hooked me up with a full set of 5 tires for my jeep. And Dave S. Did a great job installing the tires and took great care of my beloved jeep. Shout out to Dave B. And Dave S. If you boys ever come to Alabama. The beers are on me. Thanks to the Daves!!!!
Dont step foot in the door. They quoted my girlfriend $444.00 in labor for a lower control arm replacement .You can review the replacement on youtube and it took the fella 10 minutes 28 seconds to make the repair the part on amazon is 126$. Jason was blatently offensive when he would not address my girlfriend in person when dealing with he car. when he asked her about mileage and she didnt know the exact number he said come on he only offered to take me to the back to show me the problem. For good reason my girlfriend was offended by this sexist act. We had been quoted 1 hr 15 minutes for the inspection. 1 hr 15 minutes late the car was not even off the ground. this is disappointing especially since we had an appointment. I feel just because she is female she should not feel taken advantage of, price gouged, and belittled.
Ok lets just start out by saying I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt.. after hearing terrible things about them from many, people over many years, I went there to get ONE final new tire put on the back of my impala before winter. Everything seemed good until 6 hours later at a Target parking lot when I was leaving, and it just mysteriously went flat.. now being someone thats done a lot of mechanical work In his life.. and currently drives truck for a living.. I check the whole tire..everything looks normal so Im thinking maybe bad valve stem or they just didnt seal it right.... stuff happens I get it... bring it in the next day after 45 mins of waiting they call me back just to say that someone hates me and show me a big gash in the tire that was never there before.. I wasnt born yesterday I know one of them did it to cover themselves.. If you want my advice you would be better off having Hellen Keller put a tire on for you.. 1 star is way too many for this guy.
If its on maple its the best! Dont go to niagra. They messed my white car up very badly then tried to blame me as if i dont know when or where my car gets hit! Said it happened when i pulled in! The paint was black and nasty green oil and they said i oulled next to a green truck yet therr was none and they wouldnt check the cameras!
Never consider firestone. Theyre bullshit. They will give you required repairs which are not needed. They charge you a lot for every thing they check. They checked my coolant for 50 $! It was my 4th time in firestone. Each time worse than before. Their prices are not reasonable at all!
They destroyed the lugnuts on my tire, argued with me about it until they finally decided to right their wrong, only to put my car in the air and stood around talking and vaping around the shop and wasting my afternoon “fixing” their awful job. Do not waste your time here.
Had a NY state inspection, oil change and winter tires swapped. The oil change was on special, however they charged me an additional fee for an older vehicle with high mileage and an extra quart of oil. The kicker is they passed the NYS inspection, even though it needed new wipers.

2022-04-14Second time I put a review in and no response from corporate but I’ve called as well. I’ve been with them for years and brought 3 different vehicles on three different occasions and needed work. Had a appointment stated they have check engine light. They got each vehicle and at least two vehicles out of three they couldn’t even open. I don’t know if it was a act but they literally broke buttons pushing them the wrong way in my Mercedes and said “ it’s a old car can’t trust this material. But I also had a nissan and Toyota and they said with each vehicle they couldn’t fix the issue and it won’t start. I Uber there and get my keys with each vehicle on camera walk out to my car and drive to another shop and got the issue fixed. I literally just took my car there a few weeks ago and they killed the battery and left lights on tryna figure my new car out and took three days just to let me know this vehicle won’t start and can’t get it open. I arrived opened the vehicle no problem just for them to tell there batteries are expensive and told me walk to advanced auto down the street. So I did and drove my vehicle to another shop which said they definitely did something because I only needed a simple coil pack and oil change I just took car out garage from the winter. Honestly I experienced great service at other locations down south and in nys but not in Buffalo. But this location is By FAR THE WORST. There was a horribly rude lady on the phone who as well who worked on my car which the technician told before I walked for a battery. Corporate needs to do something. Because you keep a history and log but yet nothing is done. I literally told them my truck needed a starter before the winter and they said they can’t open it and then two days later said “it won’t start they don’t know what’s wrong and they can’t do a diagnostic on a vehicle that won’t start 🤨 “ they charged be a 100$ and some change for the trouble i walked out and no problem simple key in ignition and drove to a family friend who changed my starter and battery and told they damn near burned out the started. I guess if you love your car and it looks nice and your humble and respectful They try to upset you.

2021-11-20The employees are sometimes rude. They work on a take it or leave it method. This is not the service center I would recommend. I only visited because I have a Firestone credit card and needed tires. It took about 24 hours to get my vehicle ready. After arrival they did not pull my car in until I inquired at the service desk about 23 hours after drop off. I called another Firestone location and they said they wouldnt have me in until the next day, so I was forced to stay at this location. Everyone is short staffed lately, but thats no excuse to be rude.

2022-01-04Their techs did a great job, but understaffing left out oil change taking five hours or so. They hadnt gotten back to us, and it was getting late, so we checked their hours only to learn they were closing in five minutes. My wife is a travel nurse, which means wed not have that car for three days if they closed and kept the car overnight. So we tried calling, and everyone was busy and couldnt answer. We ended up racing over and arrived just as they were taking our car in to do the oil change. So they lost two stars for that ordeal. But it wasnt the staffs fault. They just need to hire more people.

2022-01-10I needed my brakes fixed. They told me 3 different things concerning price and time.First it was an hour costing $300-$500, then it was they cant even give me a quote because their warehouse was closed, then it was 7-10 business days and $1000. Unimpressed and disappointed.

2022-05-02Over $100 for an oil change and they did not even put sufficient oil in the car. I had to add over 2 qts after the car warn me it was running low of oil. The oil change was done less than a week ago.

2021-10-26First time coming here and I can honestly say these men are really some hard working fellas. I watched the same guy that checked in my vehicle, work on multiple vehicles while short staffed. And when waiting on my vehicle to be finished they also were able to send me my vehicle summary report telling us what was done before being consulted by the worker. I do plan on coming back again. Happy to have come here. Best customer service.
