If I could give 0 stars I would went here needing my winter tires switched out to my summer tires. I also asked them to check out my exhaust as it was louder then usual. They ended up having to replace it. I had an appointment at 9am dropped it off and it wasn’t done till 4pm. This was on a Friday. Go to pick it up it sounds great. The next day I was walking out of the store with my daughter and noticed the exhaust was basically touching the ground. Brought it back Monday they try to tell me nothing is wrong I told them there is no way it should be sitting that low. They went and looked again and said “oh yeah that’s the wrong pipe” so I had to bring it back the next day drop it off, once again it sat there all day until 4 go to get it and ITS LOUDER THEN WHEN I BROUGHT IT THERE. Went back the next day to the one on Clinton Ave and they said that they didn’t put the clamp on right and almost ruined the hole new pipe 🤦🏼♀️

Definitely a go to place from now on. My neice got a flat and they didnt have the exact tire but still tried to help out and found two matching that were in great shape and at an amazing price to help her out and get her car done. Absolutely beyond satisfied with the service and the workers there. Would recommend Mr. Tire to everyone. Thank you again for all the help.
Everyone who works here is very personable, attentive, and professional. They are always willing to give me extra information about my car and their honest opinion, keeping my costs to a minimum but keeping my car in great condition. I’m always impressed that they remember me personally, even when I just call in for an oil change. They are always the busiest auto shop in town, but I’ve never felt like they rushed my car through without giving it their fullest attention. I also feel like it is a “family-style” workplace and that they treat their employees very well, which is also very important and pretty rare to see these days. Five stars 👍
Everything completed surprisingly quickly, lost my online appointment but still worked out great. Wheel alignment is off every so slightly, and the steering wheel is pointed to the right when going straight, not enough to take it back since barely driving these days due to covid. Oil change, state inspection, rotated tires and alignment with taxes about $140.
Always very friendly and have helped me with a few oil changes late in the work day. They’re always professional and often times complete the work in less time than they originally estimated it would take.Very budget friendly too, which is nice to see that still exists at a mechanic these days as they never try and “upsell” me on stuff I don’t need like they do at most other places.Would recommend to anyone looking for a quick, reliable service shop.
4:15pm, snowing, tried to fill tire, valve stem stuck, capped it and went directly to Mr. Tire. They were Super!!, had me pull into the garage and they fixed it, filled the tire, and found where leaking!! Set up appointment for later in week to have repaired. Friendly, patient, great!!!
I started having issues with my car last night while driving on the highway. 40 minutes before shop close, I called and Tim said hed be willing to take a look at my car. This morning, I brought it in for confirmation and repairs. While they couldnt identify a smoking gun, they were kind and didnt charge me anything for the time they spent trying to solve my car problems. I definitely recommend this shop!
Long story short: Just moved to area. Needed tire repair, met mgr. Tim. Day 1- tire repaired. Day 2- woke up with flat, got new tire, minus repair fee. Day3- drove on I-81, got flat, same tire. Mr. Tire tech drove to put donut on, went back replaced faulty tire. 2 weeks later: needed oil change, went back. Things happen, gave them a second chance. Superb customer service, with a fair price. I will be back!

This shop is truly honest and big enough. The prices are reasonable but the best part are the people. They go out of thier way to make sure your treated well personally and pricewise. I was having car trouble on the highway and they were the fist mechanic to able to diagnosis after visiting two other places. Speedy service and very honest prices! I wish I lived locally so I could continue to give them my business.
Had a tire blow out on my way north on 81. Had them tow me to Kost tire. I was in and out within a half hour having replaced two tires at an excellent price as well as an alignment. Total cost well worth it. Thanks so much! Ill be back for more great service.

The ABS warning lights came on. I stopped in at the Tompkins St location with no appointment.Tim,Mike & the crew got car in, checked out and repaired quickly. Im a repeat customer & always treated well. They spell out what needs to be done & answer any questions. Great guys to work with.
Went here because i needed tires then and there. the prices were not bad, but they were not as low as the website claimed they would be, as i was charged many mandatory fees that the website didnt mention(even though i entered my exact store before checking prices).that was not why i rated them the way i did, i expected that.I called 4 days ahead of time and made an appiontment. as i have done the few times i have dealt with this company before. they asked if I was going to leave the car or wait. as I am like most people and i dont have someone that can just pick me up and drop me off on my whim i said wait.I showed up 30 minutes early hoping to be seen early. That was of course not going to happen.. but they didnt even get my car into the bay to be serviced until OVER ONE HOUR after my appointment...... ONE HOUR.No apology no nothing. they didnt even acknowlege that a simple change of 2 tires took over 2 hours to complete.i would have rated them lower but i came into the experience expecting all of the above and thats why they get what they get. when you make an appointment dont expect your car got get in till 1 hour after your appointment. and dont expect to pay the online prices.
They removed a very stuck wheel, repaired it like new & had the perfect tires in stock. Amazing staff, capable & knowledgeable mechanics.
Heading back home to Canada our tire went flat. Mr. Tire gave our family the best service and got us in right away even though they were really busy. I would definitely recommend them for any of your tire needs. Thanks again guys for everything

I trust these guys implicitly. No matter how much work they have piled up throughout the day, I can be assured that if I bring my car in for some random problem that is making me nervous because most likely I have no understanding of it, they will not let me leave until it is fixed and my car is safe to drive. And they explain everything to me!! Safety! And understanding! They are not letting me drive an unsafe car. I cannot thank them enough for always having my back.

Awful. Didnt fix issue. Spent $198 for nothing. Have to to take vehicle to the dealer to have have them troubleshoot properly. This is THE LAST TIME I ever take a vehicle there. And yes I have already contacted Corporate about this location and to try to get a refund for the work that was NOT obviously not done. Very disappointed and very,very dissatisfied about.
Only place Id ever bring my vehicle! Mike(Assistant Manager) is such a friendly outgoing gentleman and will do his best to take care of your car needs! Wouldnt recommend any other place to get your car fixed or to purchase tires!
Terrible, waste of time and dirty waiting room, my appointment was at 4 I showed up early to fill out any paper work arrived at 3:40 stood there awkwardly waiting for the man at the front desk to finish his personal conversation with his friend after about 10 minutes I was finally helped with the least ammount of interest and barely paying attention to what I was saying after that was finally over I was told it would be about an hour which makes no sense an inspection should only take 20-30 minutes still I agree to the time and went to the waiting room where I was greeted by a dirty foul odored room with old ripped up magazines tossed everywhere, a carpet thuroly stained, a large number of large flies dead and alive that filled the room, and of course a TV that did not work it was 3:55 by the time I sat down hoping there wasnt an infestation of bed bugs lurking in the cheap cloth seats. I satin in silence for the next hour and a half to be told my inspection was not passed due to something that had nothing to do with nys inspection guidelines, an obvious attempt to get extra money out of my pocket I finally was able to leave at 5:25. I would never recommend this place of business to anyone and I will never return for any type of service, thanks for wasting my time Mr. Tire
My daughter was just in with a flat tire- they removed the nail and plugged it right away!! Great service will def go back if needed!!?
The service and price is fine. However, they have NO respect for customers time. You make an appointment, come at the appointment time and 45 minutes later they get to your car. This only happens after you complain. So, why bother with an appointment?
Super service! My son got a flat tire on his way home from school to attend his Grandmother’s 80th birthday party. They went out of their way to make sure the car was fixed so he could make it home.

2022-06-03This was the best experience I have had with a car service center. They were able to get the car in the same day, which is almost unheard of these days. They were thorough with communication and followed up with additional costs so there were no surprises. They also communicated a short delay in completion due to due parts. I highly recommend them to anyone in the area, and I will certainly be bringing my other vehicles here after a disappointing service by a different place. To have such a pleasant experience with a vehicle that needed a lot of work was great. Prices were very reasonable which was an added bonus

2022-04-04I want my old part back on my car and to be reimbursed for what you did.You failed to diagnose my vehicle. You failed to test my part you said was faulty. You took 4 days to replace a purge valve and charged me 250.00 for a 90.00 part. You scraped off my inspection sticker and inspected my vehicle when I did not request it to be done. Now my 10 day is going to run out and my car is still not fixed. If I get a ticket for no inspection I will be including that in my small claims court reimbursement.

2021-09-04This time the check engine light was on and remained on for 2 days. I got an appointment right away. They checked what the problem was, notified me, fixed it: I was on my way within the hour. When I have made appointments in the past for oil / filter changes or tire-related services, Im always pleased with the promptness and the professional and courteous treatment of their clients. I have been to both Mr. Tires in Cortland, NY. Same great experience.

2021-09-11Hundreds of miles from home and starting a new job the following day, I brought my car here concerned about noise coming from the front drivers side suspension (sounded like ball joint issues to me). Tim was kind enough to bring it in immediately, inspect the noise, and clear it as completely safe to drive all for free. I highly recommend this shop as it seems theyre run by a man of great character

2021-08-30DO NOT GO HERE. Brought in my car for an overheating issue. They charged $600 for replacing thermostat, cooling fans, and coolant temp sensor among other things. When I got my car back it was covered in filth and the serpentine belt pulleys were squealing. IT WAS NOT DOING THAT BEOFRE I TOOK IT IN. Not to mention the entire engine bay was covered in coolant and no attempt was done to clean it up at all. I fixed the serpentine belt pulleys out of pocket but at-least I was relieved to have my overheating issue fixed…Within a week my car had overheated again. I brought it back and complained. They put in a new cooling fan relay and did not charge me fortunately, but as soon as I got home it still overheated again. They said there was nothing they could do at that point and to take it to the dealer. this entire process took weeks. That is weeks that I could have spent actually getting my car repaired. Instead I paid $600 for a faulty diagnosis and unneeded replacement parts and labor. I’m sure they are good for oil changes and tire rotations, but DO NOT go here if you car is having any kind of problem.
