I hoarded Mac, Nars and Juicy Couture as presents for Christmas.
I had a problem with merchandise that was miss placed and the cashier was very rude the manager had to step forward and give me the pricing correctly for it Unhappy customer dont think Ill be visiting that store anymore
Lots of awesome selections. Low prices and high quality apparel, electronics and other items. Friendly, helpful staff work here.
This location is small but there are great deals and designer products at a very reasonable price. The lines are not bad at all. They have multiple registers and if there is a line, you wont be waiting too long. When they first opened after the covid shutdown, they were really aggressive with cleaning. When you first enter the store, there was someone offering hand sanitizer. When you made your purchase, they cleaned after each transaction. Someone would clean the counter and the payment system. Lately, I dont see the same level of sanitizing between transactions. Overall, I enjoy shopping here.

Terrible location many employees look very over worked I witnessed a cleaning lady who looked so down I could feel her sad energy 3 departments away on one occasionthe associates definitely do not look comfortable and appreciated also on the floor and dressing room section I seen many employees have a phone addiction and I was harassed to sign up for a credit card once I made my way to the front smh!!1 female employee with a black sweater treated me very nice and made me feel comfortable and another one with a blue dress greeted me very nicely everyone else seemed to be very fake 🐍
I love this store, I buy everything out of this place... I am a sock junky and Tjmaxx never disappoints in that department. I shop there are least 3 times a week and always find some good deals. TJ Maxx has the best tshirts and the lines arent as long as Marshalls and Burlington.

I always enjoy shopping at TJ Maxx. They do an extension search when hiring there employees, making sure they are well trained in customer service. I have never had a bad experience with any of there locations and Harlem is no exception. They have a well organized selection of sizes in the right order. Easy shopping.
TJ Maxx is one of my favorite stores. I’m trying to understand why they don’t sell black hair products? It’s in a black neighborhood, there should be more diversity in stores that are located in certain neighborhoods. I don’t want to use European hair care product for my black hair or skin. Let’s change the norm!Also, the merchandise should be placed in the rack for the clothes to fit. There so many clothes on one rack I can’t find what I’m looking for.Another thing! Sell underwear for women of a sizes. I feel the underwear 🩲 there are for little girls.
Every time I go to this place it always gets robbed 24/7 and it gets worse every time I go to this store. this place is like a theme park with these shoplifters they always come and go and cost some trouble in this store I recommend going to a different store that does it has any shoplifting.

The racks are neatly organized, the aisles are clear from clutter and there is a decent amount of things to consider for purchase. The home department is nice. I checked out rather quickly for a Saturday afternoon. The staff is very pleasant. I will be returning.

This store is a GEM.You can find absolutely everything you need, clothes, candles, beauty products for amazing prices.While I have a hard time finding my size, theres still plenty of other items I can quickly buy when Im in a pinch.Lines can be a bit long and the staff isnt that enthusiastic but if I have a question, they can easily direct me to where I need to go.
This TJ Maxx is the best I went to see what things they had and I feel like their beauty section is life🙌🏽 they have a couple things that I needed and I found it. Their variety in skin care, hair products and make up are on point. They also sell accessories for your iPhone/ android phones. The home section has couple things and also they have a great section for gym gear. Come check this place out is not a crowd or a messy store.
Originally, I had been a serious fan of this place. Id given the store a 5 star rating which can be viewed below. But after a recent encounter, Im much less likely to return. While looking through the wide collection of oils the manager checked on me/interrupted me several times throughout the visit. At one point even security was sent to check on me.Part of what I liked about the store was being able to browse and discover cool things, but a subtle accusation of theft makes me a little too uncomfortable to keep going there -- on top of the fact that I was innocently just looking through the ingredients in all the oils.Being a black female, suspected by the white manager, makes it worse. If every black female who checks the ingredients in her skin & hair care is suspected of theft in this store, a lot more black women are feel less comfortable. This is Harlem, come on now.The other staff is still great. The ambiance is still bright, and there are still events. Just dont spend too much time reading product ingredients.Original 5 Star Rating:This is such a great store to step into. The energy is bright and the people working at the store are very positive. Its not unusual for the staff to just say hi as youre entering the store.Regarding products, you can stop by for something in particular and discover something awesome be it clothes, rugs, kitchenware, snacks, etc. -- and usually at great prices.Otherwise, theres the occasional event for rewards card members where you get access to stuff before everyone else, and refreshments
Great Jewelry Great skin and hair care. And gawddddddddsddddd the home section I could live in. Holiday decor is always on point but the space is a bit to cramped for me it’s like shopping in a maze and the shoe section is a bit small but you can find some hidden gems oh and they have the prettiest reusable shopping bags for sale
I went in there looking for gifts for my sons birthday, I bough a beautiful case to put small gifts inside gor him, while I was in there I notice they had a kitchen aisle and wanted to buy everything, somethings are slightly damaged but they come at a discounted price, if you look around you will find items worth to look for. I will definitely come back here for home goods.
I had a very negative interaction with a staff member when I visited this Harlem location with my daughter and granddaughter. But it was dealt with in quick fashion by another staff member who addressed the issue and took care of my family and I. We ended up with some great items for very reasonable prices. l will probably go back to this location if the mood strikes me.
T.J.Maxx is one of my favorite places to shop. Their staff are pleasant and friendly. I always walk out with quality merchandise.

I was originally going to bed bath, but decided to give it a chance. Its alot more organized and well stocked than Marshalls up the block. Its well lit and has all of the sections like the suburban stores.The staff were pleasant and helpful. I could always find an associate and knew whines working.
Never again will I step foot in this place. My first and last time here, I was followed down every *single* aisle in the cosmetics department (they arent even slightly subtle). I bought a bag as well - they emptied out the stuffing that helps it hold its shape at the register, and checked every pocket of the bag, in front of me. When I asked what she was doing, I was told its policy. BS. Offensive and unnecessary. Im not stealing sweetie, and Im pretty sure I have more money on hand than you do. Never have I ever been treated this way. Will never spend another dime here.

The selection seemed off, and the store was completely unprepared to check out a large group of people. No deal at TJ MAXX is worth waiting 45 minutes on line. Completely underwhelming experience... and I LOVE these kinds of retailers usually.
I work there and we do not follow my customers around we have to enforce the rules of not opening any cosmetics, there are people that work there specifically for that to watch the shoplifters and if you are not one no need to worry sweetheart, and about the handbag yes it is policy to check each bag and each pocket in the bag maybe someone had other intentions couldn’t get a way with it and boom you happen to want that bag now everything in the job is done by the company’s standards sorry you felt that way but get your facts correct.
Upon arriving the store is very clean. The deals in T.J Maxx makes the time go fast. The customer service was great and check out was fast. Also for any of you that love perfume like I do and always want to try something new but unsure. T.J Maxx allow you to buy try and if its not you return. The customer service lady was kind enough to share. But also elaborated it can be extremely used. Great shopping experience and deals that cant be beat.
I bought a ring from TJ Maxx on line! Was not the right size(my fault). Options were to send back in the mail or return to store. I chose store. Did not know what to expect! To my surprise, I was directed where to go and the clerk there was so courteous and helpful. For some reason I thought it was gonna be a problem! My monies was returned to my card. No problems at all! Was in and out in 15 mins! Enjoyed the rest of my day! Thank you TJ Maxx!
This is one of my favorite TJ Maxx to go too!!! Go here 2x a week. They got great staff that help out and very friendly environment. Very clean! Great finds too!!! Wont be disappointed!
The store is small but neat and well stocked.
The store hours for Sunday is not correct. Its says it opens at 10 am on Sunday and its not true. I was there today at 10:20 am and the gate was still down. We saw people walking around the store. Me and other two ladies were waiting. One of them said, they are always late to work. Its a shame. It shouldve be opened at 10:00 am
The prices are reasonable but disorganized cashier spend too much time talk and conversation with customers not regarding the merchandise that they purchasing, when I address the manage his response was customer service but they should have a separate department for questions regarding customer service issues. Not the register

The West Harlem store is very small, but it is not as messy as the bigger locations.I shop the childrens section so I cannot really offer any helpful information on mens, shoes, etc
Love this TJ Maxx, it’s never very busy and they have a smaller selection but nice spread. Staff is helpful and friendly. One thing to note it’s underground and very little cell reception. It would be nice if they had Wi-Fi.**
Very nice store. I originally went into the store to use the restroom. Restrooms were clean. Once finished I did browse the store and I shopped a little. Staff was helpful definitely a good experience.
Its a small tjmax with no layaway available in this store, theres also no baby section. Like any other Burlington, tjmax, marshalls, ect it has a phone charging station. Theres a bed bath and beyond upstairs and other stores a few blocks on either direction. Theres no parking near, u have to find a spot on the curb or a parking lot a few blocks away, which u need to pay for, price depends on car size.
If you dont mind being stared at by security while shopping youll love this place! Came here twice, happened both times not including a bad experience with an employee and Im never coming back.
Dont waste your time shopping here, very small store, security will make you feel like a thief, and then the bad customer service. Theres Burlington and Marshalls nearby with larger selections.
Love tj maxx. I always get expensive face products for cheap! Home section is wonderful. Clothes are good too just have to search. They have cheap essential oils.
I must don’t recommend this store. Employees is very rude and disgusting. I was looking for some cosmetic today. I just asked price one employee . After she complained me 4 times. I felt very noisy and confused . I couldn’t choose stuff because she disturbed me. I will never go this store.
Cashier supervisor very nice help me look for the items that Im looking for the back told me to come back tomorrow cuz I have so many bags they will hold it for me come back it just playing nice people they really enjoy working and helping their customers

I visited T.J.Maxx to purchase a Ugly Christmas Sweater. Well I did find one. However most of the Women clothing Look Worned and Very Old. The House Goods look Very nice.

2022-08-08Theres not as much space in the store as there are some of the others. That said its orderly and you can find some fun things there. Id be lying if I said it was my favorite location but they really are doing the best with what theyve got. The staff is also cool too. They dont follow people even though Ive seen people running out of that store with merchandise and security not far behind. So its laudable that they dont creep around behind their customers given this fact.

2022-07-04This is a TJ Maxx thats on the smaller side. Store feels a little cluttered with the racks right on top of each other. I usually make my returns here. However their home and beauty sections are well stocked and orderly. The staff are friendly and hard working.

2022-08-17My go to for affordable Korean skincare and skin care in general. Looking to try Laneige or Any of those expensive skincare items . Try here first on a weekday . Whenever I’m looking for a new skincare item I look here first. You can try something at a lower cost before shelling out the big bucks.

2022-06-01Recently, I purchased a few clothing items at this TJMaxx location that I gifted to a friend. In packing the gift to ship, I made a mistake with the clothing tags. To make a long story short, I had to return one out of the four items. I really appreciate the time, professionalism and consideration the store manager Mr. Herbert, Supervising Cashier Ms. Mary and Eric the friendly and conscientious cashier, took to understand and resolve my confusing situation. This was the best customer service experience I have ever received at a TJMaxx location. I look forward to saying hello to them and laughing about my craziness the next time I shop at this store. Thanks again!

2022-05-30This is the smallest TJMaxx I have ever been to.Considering this I still found what I was looking for. Bonus for me was that the item was on clearance!!!The staff are helpful and checkout was fast and easy.

2022-03-01Small location and staff profile I felt very bad for a man that was shopping and being followed. He made a comment to the man who was following him and the man didn’t care said nothing and continued to follow him around. The man got so upset yelled at him and called him out and he left the store. That wasn’t cool at all. One black man following another black man around and why well we all know why. Smh. I won’t be back.
