Tom from TLC saved our vacation. We had two tire blowouts within an hour on our Airstream trailer and limped into our campground. Tom replaced the four main tires and spare the following day at our campground and couldn’t have been more accommodating or professional. He and his wife Leanne couldn’t have been any nicer and their rates were very reasonable. Highly recommend TLC.
Let me start with I had no actual dealings this business, which is why I am reviewing them. Last week I got a flat tire and pulled over right in front of their shop. 2 people from their shop stood there and watched. They just watch. I had to call someone to come with a jack. People stopped and offered help, all while the shop employees stood by and watched. Not once did they offer any assistance. And it was right in front of their shop. Doesnt sound like people I would want to do business with.
TLC Machining & Auto Repair were great. Vehicle broke down late and night; dropped off in the wee hours of the morning and was back on the road later that afternoon.Great work done; quickly; and at a very reasonable price.Thanks Tom!
Im very happy with TLC. They fixed an electrical problem (that TWO other mechanics had previously failed to solve) within an hour. On top of being skilled, they are shockingly upfront & honest. Rare gem of an auto shop.
This shop went above and beyond to make sure that I had my vehicle back the day it came in because I broke down out of town. Owners are both very friendly. Would definitely use this shop again.
These guys are worth an hour or two drive, I’m 40 minutes away and enjoy the ride to the reassurance of respectable repair and maintenance mastery 😎 Awesome!

2021-10-10WOW! I cant say enough good things about this couple. They went above & beyond to help us with our brakes. We were vacationing in the area from Ohio when we discovered our brake troubles. All in a few hours they located the parts, called us to drop off our truck, drove us back to our camp site and then picked us up again when the repair was finished. A+ service. Thanks again.

2018-09-25Tom was SO helpful. They do great work and at a very* reasonable price!! We highly recommend this place. We were traveling back up to Vermont and ran into car trouble around Athens, drove up to TLC at the end of their work day and they took really great care of us. Tom drove us to Holiday Inn safely and got us a discounted room for the night, and then finished the car first thing the next day. Thank you so much!!!

2020-04-15I came in from out of town with a coolant leak. Tom was able to not only repair the problem but also provided a ride to and from my house as this was our only car. The repair went off without a hitch with the same price and timing that I was quoted. Very knowledgable and great customer service!

2019-11-19Let me start by saying that Tom and the team at TLC have been servicing my familys cars for several years and have been quite happy with Tom and the high level service they receive. I have a 2014 Spark which still under warranty. After several unfavorable visits to my dealership I decided to give Tom a call for work. As expected, I received VIP service. Tom and his wife were very friendly and more than willing to answer myquestions. Because of Tom and TLC I was able to save HUNDREDS of dollars on my auto repair. It warms my heart to see a business today be as customer service centered as they are. Tom will now have all my non-warranty business. Thanks for everything.

2018-06-14The last review is wrong. I was one of the two people standing out in front of the garage door. When you had a flat tire.the other gentleman was a customer also.I was waiting for the owner and other mechanic to return with my vehicle that they were test driving. I have been using this garage for many years and they are the most honest people you could ask for. They do great mechanical work and machinist. All done on site!!!

2018-07-07My John Deere tractor suddenly lost all power while I was using it. I towed it back to my garage and while figuring out how to get it to a shop to have someone look at it, my neighbor told me TLC also did repairs on diesel engines. I called them and spoke to Tom, who said they will be able to look at it. When I mentioned to Tom, I would have to figure out how to get it on the trailer, he said he would come out to my house and look at it. Tom and his mechanic Rich came to my house and figured out very quickly that it was just a blown fuse. This saved me from a very expensive bill at the John Deere dealership for something very minor. They are very honest, which is hard to find these days in a repair shop. Thank you very much!!!!

2016-01-25They do good work, they are honest, and are one of the few shops that will do heavy engine work on site many shops either contract it out or pass it off somewhere else due to the labor and hours involved.I needed a head gasket job on my 1997 F-150 I knew the job wasnt one I wanted to do myself, so upon referral, I chose TLC and they did a great job. Thomas and Richs attention to detail was excellent and because they do the rebuilding and machining the job was done correctly.Thomas, the owner, his wife and mechanic Rich are good people they run an honest business and I am happy with the service I received.
