I have been here many times. The food is always great and the drinks are delicious. Recommend the Crispy chicken dish and the Duck entree. Their Happy hour is worth it as well. Last night was my first time since Covid and they practice safe distance in dining. I was very happy about that.
Sat outdoors and had a wonderful lunch. Food was tasty and portions size were definitely worth the money. We loved the pinapple fried rice and chicken pad thai! Staff was very accomidating, friendly and provided great service throughout. This may be our new favorite spot.
This is just incredible. I visited around 4:45. It wasnt very busy. It was the best surprise meal of my entire week. It next to one of the Long Island railway stops so you can get something while you wait. I ordered the stir fry vegetables and chicken. I dont have the right words to describe my delight. The hosts were friendly.
This is a poke persons dream. Been to lots of poke places but the bowls they create here are so fresh and delish + filling. The location is downtown that appears like uptown, so clean and serene. Farmingdale has come a long way, babeee! Lovely restaurant with outdoor seating. Lots to choose from on their menu as well.
This place used to be decent, but we received packaged wasabi and packaged ginger with our recent to-go order that made it seem like airport food. For the cost of the food, I’d expect fresh wasabi and ginger, not packaged mush. Sushi tasted off. We won’t be going back.
I ordered lunch bento boxes with a coworker and was so disappointed. I got the chicken teriyaki bento box and half of the chicken was so tough I couldn’t chew it. It was like it was raw but it wasn’t. I just googled it and I think it was “woody breast” syndrome infected chicken. Which means they are not getting good quality products. Also the salad that comes with the bento boxes is literally one cherry tomato, one slice of cucumber and a ton of lettuce. The ginger dressing is disgusting, it had no flavor. My coworker was not happy with her shrimp tempura either, it had no flavor either. So I did end up getting a refund for my meal, after a bit of a run around. If you want good Asian fusion, go to Lotus.
The place is excellent. But before that the location and the neighborhood is wonderful. And TOA is easily the standout of the area. They have a varied menu and serve alcoholic drinks also. The food is definitely on the pricey side, but the quality and quantity are both good. We ordered a bunch of different dishes to share and some members of our large group ordered drinks too. The people who drank said the drinks were good too. And then, I must point out Jenny, our server. She was just superb, so friendly and courteous. We have already been there twice in 2 weeks. Definitely a place to go back too!!
Awesome everything! We arrived before the main rush and were very lucky to be able to get a table in the main dining room. (We were shopping nearby and heard the restaurant was amazing) The acoustics were warm although there was plenty of conversation going and the chill out background music was perfect. All our tea, soups, appetizers and main dishes were hot when served and had a distinct flavor including the red curry beef and sea bass. Our green tea was wonderful and the ribs delicious. Our daughter is 4 and loves dumplings and noodles so we ordered both. The noodles were tasty and different than most Asian restaurants in the area. I loved the decor and although we came dressed casual it was obvious that we were underdressed but not made to feel that way. Everyone around us seemed in high spirits due to the excellence. The private party room, sushi bar and bar looked enticing and all were busy as well. We didnt order any sushi but I love sushi and would love to taste their take on it! Perfect fancy date night, company outing, or special night out for an occasion worth celebrating. Parking in the LIRR station made it easy and if you are near the LIRR you can take the train and it is literally a few steps away.
I picked this place last time we went out after seeing some reviews on Yelp. Great choice. The Pineapple Rice is bomb. The sashimi is awesome and healthy. The duck is AMAZING. The reason we came back. Also these buns are my fav. We don’t know the name of them but we call them squishy buns. Love this place and will def be back.
If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. Want to spend $25. for 10 mini melon balls of General Tso Chicken? Want to spend $9 on microwaved gummy & dry old Pork Buns? Or $8 per Sapporo draft beer? We dont know what they served us because they wont pour at the table. So who knows what you drank? And BONUS! Either the glasses were dirty or they just happened to smell and feel tacky to the touch. The waiter came to our table twice. Once to take our order and later to bring the check - but only after we asked a different guy in an unironed and dirty shirt for the check. A different guy plopped the 3 mugs of Sapporo off - who was he? Another random & disheveled kitchen guy, who wasnt wearing a mask, uniform or apron, delivered plates of food to our table. 4 completely different people, not a single clean shirt. The place has really gone down in quality all around. The food was bad. Theyre adding excess vegetables to their entrees, the staff is not friendly, their uniforms, if worn, looked unclean and dirty, nothing on their beer menu is available except for you guessed it, Sapporo and its all grossly overpriced.Total spend? $143. $50 for 2 small entrees that are $13-15 and better tasting everywhere else, $24 on 3 warm & watery dirty glass beers, $30 on 2 vastly different flavored Lemon Drops, assorted appetizers + a reflexive/undeserved 20% tipIt was also obvious they packed 6 tables into one section so theyd have to clean less later.I also wish Id read their recent reviews before agreeing to eat at here. We used to eat here before the pandemic and they must be under new ownership. The reviews definitely reflect it.Do not eat here unless you like throwing your money away on bad service and food.
Do not eat here. The food is not fresh and it is old. I ordered 2 orders of Korean Short Ribs, a chicken Thai Basil dish, Mongolian beef, 2 orders of shrimp tempura rolls and a miso soup. 195 dollars spent to throw it in the garbage. DO NOT EAT HERE! It is bad for your health. I am not sure what happened but there food was really good when they first opened. Every dish spelled and tasted old or rotten. Save your money.
The food has always been good. My greater concern after going to the Farmingdale location for the first time, yesterday, is the service. Our food took 45 mins to come out and we have little kids. The waitress knew we had been waiting and avoided/ignored us the whole time, while people came in, ate and left around us. No one spoke to us regarding an issue or if we were OK, or even care to offer us (paid) refills. I should also note that it was NOT busy. Disappointed.
Staff is rude..we went here for Father’s Day. Place was not busy. The staff was a bit rude. We requested them that we are hungry and request if someone could be out to take our order soon. They waited on a different table that was seated after ours and then our dinner took a while to be brought out and when I asked about it - the waitress replied with attitude-It is coming. Couple of other instances that happened where staff was just giving attitude though they were not very busy. Not inclined to go here again.
T.O.A. Asian Fusion was a beautiful venue to hold a close knit graduation celebration. Scheduling, dinner options, preference accommodations for religious or allergy reasons were all handled with care. The food was filling, delicious and beautifully plated. The staff was expedient, organized and delightful. My fiance and I were so delighted with the food and service that we cant wait until the next time.
Really like coming here. Atmosphere is great and not too noisy. My favorite is the Huntington roll, dumplings, Mongolian beef, and salmon teriyaki. I give 4/5 because I don’t necessarily like everything on their menu (just my personal preference) and some of the rolls are a little expensive.
I celebrated my graduation today in this fine place. happy to tell that we enjoyed a outstanding evening and the restaurant was definitely one of the reasons for the fruitful evening. The crew cooperated in a splendid way, the meals were yummy and my guests were very delighted. We shall absolutely come back again for more celebrations. thanks very much.
I had just moved to Bethpage. My first weekend in town my wife and i decided to go there for dinner. We were blown away by how good the food was. It was so good that we even thought about going back again the following day. Unfortunately that was an outlier. We ordered for takeout 3 times since then. Each time the food has been drenched in oil the chicken has been undercooked. Im not sure what happened that first time. Maybe the food is just good when you dine in and its terrible for takeout. Either way our extreme optimism has turned sour. We wont be ordering from here again.
Good spot for lunch or dinner with friends and loved ones. Food is great and service is quick. Practically no wait time. Had Mongolian Chicken...excellent. I love this place. Price is on the high side, but the meal is worth the $$.One more note. Parking spots are a challenge. Luckily after 4pm, train station close by has free parking for now...
Zero stars for manager, 5 stars for food, service & atmosphere. Four middle-aged women out for dinner, spent nearly $400 and manager refused to comp us for a mistake made by waitress. When we ordered an appetizer she was clearly confused, so we reiterated what we wanted. Nevertheless, we were served the wrong dish. Said we would keep it and still ordered the one we wanted. Waited quite some time for it. The waitress apologized and acknowledged that it was her mix up. When we got the bill, we noted we were charged for the incorrect appetizer. Manager said that because we ate it, we should pay for it. Not the point. We were inconvenienced, had to wait for something we clarified we wanted the first time around. But its not the measly $15 (against a bill of $400) - it was the managers terrible attitude. A complete jerk - has absolutely no business being in the service industry if he is as rude to his customers as he was to us. Its unfortunate that what had been a fantastic dining experience up to that point left us all flat and wondering would we bother coming back again.
I had sushi and the person I was with had one of the sauteed dishes. The food is probably a 4/5 but the pricing brings the overall value to a 3/5 for me.Also just a bit confused by the identity of this place. On one end the decor is following the Taste of Asia namesake but having big screen TVs showing American Idol while Imagine Dragons and the White Stripes play over the speakers takes it in another direction.
Excellent food, ambiance and service. What more can one ask for. We loved the atmosphere and service offered here.We had ordered Pineapple fried rice, Avocado salad, Vegetable Sushi, Avocado Sushi, pad Thai, and Vegetable in Red Curry. Awesome food each one better then the other.
I was disappointed with the service. It took a long time for the waitress to attend to my table. The stale, end of the barrel wonton chips were another disappointment. I ordered the lobster tacos that was made for a mouse. Again, it did not meet the write ups it received.I have been to the Huntington restaurant and it exceeds the Farmingdale restaurant. Thank goodness the wine was perfect! Unfortunately, I won’t go back. Sorry 😐
I order the food here every week online with my girlfriend. Food is absolutely delish. The past 2 times I have ordered on here now has been disappointing. If theres a new chef he has to go. Kani salad watery and gross ordered a spicy tuna and got a crunchy spicy tuna. Never charge for spicy mayo and then first time ever they charge me for it after they already messed up my order. Looks like they just lost a valuable customer.
Let me start be saying I use my real name I dont give fake reviews.I dont know what happened to this place the last 2 times I order from this place the food wasnt fresh the delivery driver was rude my young daughter placed the order online and didnt know to leave a tip so driver said I must give him a tip and than told to give him $5.00 I gave him 2 called the restaurant and they defended the driver and said I must give him a tip Worst customer service
Rob the manager is absolutely horrible. A friend of ours had prepared a group for a special event far in advance. The day of they have one server (Alyssa who was very hard working but all alone for the entire group). Some people were getting appetizers while others were ready for dessert. They had no idea how to split the check (somehow Rob thought that Alyssa had to calculate the total bill, calculate tip, then divide it per person instead of just charging 20% on each bill). He was rude and threw a fit when we asked why the bill was taking half an hour and when people tried to pay. Even though many of us arrived before 3 he refused to honor the every day lunch special (the restaurant was completely empty otherwise). We were so happy to celebrate with our friends and didn’t want to ruin anyone’s dinner so we didn’t say anything or make a fuss, but a poor review was most certainly deserved.
Edit 5/11: Full refund of the double charge. Food here is good, and I like how fast their delivery is.Edit 5/10: Their third party vendor called me to assure me there would be a refund in a few days.Typically I order online, from their website. The food is decent, the prices are better online with the discount. Never had an issue before Monday 5/1. Monday they double charged me. I figured I would give it a few days to see if it resolved itself. It didnt. Thursday I called to ask them for a refund. Their operations manager assured me that hed check in on it. I got a phone call back from him in a few minutes where he insisted that their third party company didnt charge me twice. I offered to take a picture of my online statement and send it to him. I took the picture 5/3 at 5:32pm and texted it to his personal cell. I received no answer. This afternoon (5/4), a little before 1pm I asked for an update. He said that I never sent the picture. I forwarded him the same picture I sent yesterday and stated what time I sent it. He apparently cant receive pictures from my phone and offered an email address. I emailed him the picture. He then tells me that his third party vendor insists the transaction is still pending - it has already CLEARED my card account - and that he has forwarded all the appropriate information. As of today, 5/9 over a week later I have called my credit card to dispute the charge and they agree, there was a double charge.
In this day and age I was disappointed to find that they had little to no food to feed me. They are pricy and wont make anything worth eating. Miso has fish stock, teriyaki and brown sauce have meat stock, the couldnt even marinate mushrooms to put into sushi. Even their spicy edamame was only made spicy with mayo. The staff although friendly didnt know how to assist in ordering for people with food preferences or special diets. I actually asked when I could talk to the owner, the staff said he just changed menu and it would probably not be changed again.
Its def overpriced, but theyre clearly going for a trendy vibe, so that explains some of that. Its pretty. Service is very slow, but maybe theyre still working out kinks since its new. The Tom yum soup was okay. I really liked my out of control roll, and tempura was yummy.
I went to go try TASTE OF ASIAN FUSHION today And it was absolutly awful and the service was horrible. The waitree didnt even come to check on us to see if we needed anything. I would not reccomend this place to anyone. If you are looking for foods such as chicken terryaki or fried rice or even a simple bowl of wonton soup, it was horrible and I do not reccomend this place and I would never go back.

2022-03-20I want to make it clear that the food was pretty decent. However, I was not happy with the service. I came to have dinner with a friend of mine and neither of us felt very cared for. She asked for a ginger ale and our waiter forgot about it which is fine. But when we tried to get another waiters attention he deliberately ignored us. Then when we needed our bill our waiter was not around. I tried to ask the other waiter to come to our table and he ignored us again. I definitely do not think I will be returning unfortunately. However I do hope that for future guests, the staff improves on their customer service.

2022-06-14Absolutely delicious!! A friend and I go every year on our birthdays and to have a Christmas lunch.I have visited the one in Huntington, but this one is so much better. Two delicious appetizers, one was the Crunchy Crunchy Crunchy but I cant remember the other. The Phoenix roll was one of the wonderful sushi rolls we had. We ended by splitting a green tea ice cream. Everything was perfectly delicious!! Cant wait to go again!!

2022-03-25Out with my some kids and decided an impromptu dinner would be nice. Well this place truly did not disappoint. The service and staff were very friendly and the food was full of flavor. Will return for more of this mouthwatering delicacy.

2022-06-09Ambiance is lovely, food, not great, barely good. Pork dumplings were very dry, and had a off putting texture and an aftertaste that made me eat only 1 bite. You could tell that the meat had been frozen or in cold storage for too long. I had chicken pad Thai, also dry and virtually tasteless, sticky and no flavor at all. Pad Thai needs a rich, vibrant sauce, depth of flavor, and they didnt have it. The sushi was ok, passable. Our party of 8 enjoyed their food, but I wasnt amused. I know this is a commercial business, and I would only return there if my friends choose to go there. If I were making reservations for dinner, Id go elsewhere.

2021-10-20The food is absolutely disgusting. I found a hair in my sushi and my wife felt sick after the dinner. Tips for people who living in Farmingdale never go to this restaurant. You have many choices for dinner, but you only have one life for yourself.

2022-05-04It was a bit chaotic but the servers and front desk lady was trying their best. Mainly the food was just so good. I really like seafood but rarely do I look at a menu and want to try 6 or more items!

2022-05-03Food was great. I got my order to go so I cant speak too much about customer service. They got my order right, which in this day and age counts for something. The ambiance was nice. Definitely a date night in the future

2022-07-15Food was good. Shared sushi rolls with table. Went on a Wednesday evening around 6 pm and unfortunately they were out of several things, which was disappointing. Parking is also a pain. Still had a good time and the atmosphere was great.

2022-05-27They will mess up your order, tell you to call grubhub to get a refund and will leave you hungry. They wont call, they wont care. Two kids starving. Absolutely atrocious customer service. From what Ive read from the reviews, its common for them to not even care. Zero stars if I could, and will never even think about ordering from here again. Just so you know my order was 106 dollars. For delivery.

2022-03-28Really enjoyed my dinner here. I loved the atmosphere with the decor. The staff was attentive and friendly. Cant go wrong with sushi or the dinner entrees.
