Toast Coffeehouse in other cities:
My husband and I went to Toast , like always looking for something to impress ourselves, we enjoy going out and try new things, I cant say this place was totally bad but the services was not totally good as we expected and the prices were very high, we know pandemic hit hard but I think it was a little bit too much, the worse part we have been seating at this corner where we had a dripping water forcing us to moved our table to dont get the dripping water on our plates.I like to give another try because this looks like a fun place. Good luck anyways hoping next time we have a better experience at toast.
Fantasy level latte with flavors and caffeine to match. Absolute must go for coffee lovers! The waitresses are helpful and knowledgeable about their dishes and can make it happen for you and your allergies! My go to date night favorite!Only problem? Make sure you get on the wait-list before you arrive!
We arrived lunchtime with about a 45 minute wait, since it was beautiful day, cool but sunny outside, hostess offered outside dining which we took, then immediately seated in the back courtyard, very nice. Waiter came out got out orders and we were served our meal a short time after. Food was delicious and all social distancing was in place.
First of all the staff is great!! Very friendly and quick with service. The food is absolutely amazing we went out and got the splendid Benedict and the Benedict Arnold and they were both out of this world! Not to mention their Siracha shrimp and bacon bloody is soooo delicious. Definitely recommend for a great brunch spot!
Ate at Toast 2 hours ago. Waitress was lovely. Prices went up but the food quality went down. Took my favorite dishes off the menu. I ended up with a basic breakfast which was really bland. Really, no flavor. Ive been going to the Patchogue location since they opened. I was always bragging about the food but this as well as the last few experiences were totally off.
First time going to Toast. Im from Queens so my boyfriend who lives in Long Island is always introducing me to so many awesome food places in Long Island. We went to Toast for breakfast on a Saturday morning with no reservation and we were able to get seated right away despite how busy they were. Our food was AMAZING. My Omelette was so delicious and the potatoes were addiction. Not sure how they season them, but its so good. Portions were extremely generous. Mine came with toast but not pictured in the photo!Would definitely go again.
Arrived today for valentines day with reservations for our first time at toast ! Was promptly seated. My server was so attentive and sweet she was awesome. And the food was amazing as well as the mimosas! Will be back very soon! Will recommend to anyone looking for an awesome brunch spot.
Edited to add when I ordered I specified a small Orange juice and she charged me for a large.Just left here and had Meagan O as myserver. She wasn’t attentive and she was talking about us to another server at the bar, looking directly at us the entire time. It was uncomfortable. She dropped off the bill before the rest of our food came. I had to ask three different people for our toast which came fifteen minutes after our meal was finished and plates were cleared—not that anyone cared. We waited over forty minutes for our food (understandable when it’s busy, but no communication from the server—not even stopping by to let us know how much longer we’d have to wait) and ten minutes later Meagan dropped off the bill without asking if we were ready. When we first sat down we were ready to order, but she barely greeted us before leaving for 20+ minutes. Really unnecessary to have the hostesses, bussers, and other servers take care of your table when you’re just standing at the bar resentfully.I was a waitress for four years. I understand you were preparing for a large party to arrive. Simply communicating throughout the meal about this timing would’ve made the experience more cooperative and enjoyable. Instead, my service was passive aggressive throughout and I repeatedly had to ask others for things. If Meagan could’ve just been attentive instead of standing at the bar staring and talking about us, we would’ve completed our meal 20 minutes earlier. And then you would’ve had more time to prepare for the party.
Do not give this place your money. I was a party of 4 and watched multiple families get in ahead of us. When I brought it up the woman at the front tried to say they had reservations but didnt realize I was there and saw two of the families come in without reservations. There is no point in giving your money to a place with really bad service and just accepting it. Honestly the idea of accepting that kind of treatment from a place that is barely above going to IHOP is a no go.If you have respect for yourself spend your money somewhere else or pay this place to have them not respect you and lie to your face.I walked out after I was told the reservation lie TWICE and told my group was next in line TWICE. Im letting you reading this know so that you dont have to deal with it.
An unexpected gem. We came here on a whim after a week of camping looking for a warm breakfast before hitting the road and were SO IMPRESSED. The atmosphere, a charming blend of steampunk and farm hip aesthetic, the music, the employees, and of course the food were all amazing. The EC and Sous Chef even came by and we had a great chat - so friendly. A lovely neighborhood spot worth checking out (:
Toast coffehouse. What can i say? So good. Each and everytime. Vibrant. Bubbly as their coffee is. Enjoyable. Jovial hard working service. Surpasses all expectations of weekend brunch. VEGAN MENU. Yes, vegan menu. Delicious. Commendable. Thank you. Local. Perfect. Fun. Different. Exciting. Forget mainstream breakfast joints. COME HERE. Did I say vegan menu?
Incompetent! Placed a order over the phone only to find out they never bothered to put my order into the system. So basically I had to drive 20 minutes and waste gas for nothing! The manager was unsympathetic and his only solution was to have me wait longer for him to place a new order. This is not acceptable! If they we’re in my position I’m sure they would have been frustrated as well. But because it wasn’t them didn’t seem to care.
This place is booming and noisy because its so crowded. Be prepared to wait a little bit to get a seat, but they make the process super easy where they will text you when your table is ready. The reason they are booming is because the food and service is excellent. The coffee is also great, I suppose it should be at a coffee house :D. Breakfast was delightful and we will be back. Maybe next time we will sit on the outside patio for a less noisy atmosphere.
Absolutely on point. Great food, great coffee, great music - ska/alternative - (a little loud for my preference, but thats me..). I had the special - Pulled Bacon Benedict - could not finish it. A little pitcher of half-and-half... Nice servers, quick service, coffee refills, in big mugs! This is not-your-mothers diner, in all the good ways!
Came here for breakfast. A nice relaxing, chill environment. Ordered a burrito and chocolate chip pancakes. Food was great. Burrito had a good blend of flavors. The pancakes werent those thick dry pancakes places typically serve. They were thinner, had a good amount of chocolate chips in them as well. This location is much better than the one in Port Jefferson. Would come back here to eat again.Came back here for a 2nd time. Ordered the same Bandito Burrito and short Chocolate Chip stack. Was just as good as the 1st time.Came back for a third time. Still good so seems like this is a place to keep in your rotations of places to eat. Changing rating to 5 stars.Included some new pics.
This is a pretty good place. Heres the breakdown.Pros:- The food is very good.- The staff are friendly.- Nice design and atmosphere.Cons:- A little bit on the expensive side. Not too much, though.- My biggest negative: I got a Wild Berry Smoothie and while it looked like it had berries in it, all I could taste was sugar. It was $6 and I couldnt even get through half of it. Way too sweet. My wifes cappuccino was nice, but I wont be ordering any smoothies there again.- Its sort of minor, but once your order is delivered, you do have to flag waiters down if you want anything. They dont seem to come to you at all to ask if you need anything. I dont like it when waiters come up to you all the time, but once or twice during the meal would be nice. The pros do outweigh the cons here, so well be back!
Super good food, at a decent price. Came here for a sunday brunch at around noon. Had to wait anywhere between 30 min - 1 hour even with a reservation (but we made it the same day). If you can get here during a less packed time, it would definitely be super worth it. I would recommend and hope to come back soon!
Best Restaurant in PatchogueThe Toast Coffeehouse is one of the largest, if not the largest restaurant, in all of downtown Patchogue. If youre a local youve probably been here before, and will almost certainly be back a number of times during the year. Its simply that good, and is worth the wait time.Pros----Excellent food, notable cleanliness, great coffee, and competent, friendly service. The menu is diverse, so there is something for ever dietary preference (vegetarian, vegan, meats, etc)Making substitutions or modifications to food orders has never been an issue and is carried out with accuracy.Cons----Busy, Busy, Busy. Unless you arrive early (9am or earlier), or you are dinning in a small group, 2 or simply alone, the wait time for a table can feel intolerable if youre starving. The best way to tackle this is to use the Yelp App to wait in line virtually, but be sure to check in with the hostess at some point physically. Once the table is ready you will receive a text.
Now I see why this place is so popular. Could have ordered at least 10 things on the menu but settled for the 3 in the picture. Sweet potato fries were amazing. Grilled cheese sandwich was my favorite. Definitely going back. Prices were reasonable too. Most items are $12-14.
Ordered doordash and had hair in my food! Spoke to manager who offered to resend my order 2 hours later no food and no refund! First and last order, poor customer service. *** you write a review and magically you get a phone call! The unfortunate part here is that since the pandemic people just dont want to work or care about their jobs let alone do right by a loyal customer. Keep the food, no thanks!
Excellent service, friendly staff, delicious food. The menu has a wide variety of options to chose from. Makes you wish you could try them all at once! The restaurant is practicing proper social distancing rules and all the staff has a mask on at all times. Drove 50 minutes to get here and it was worth it. Try the Bandito Burrito.
My husband and I went to Toast when visiting for a wedding and had the Vermont Maple Nut Crunch coffee bean - we bought some to go and have been out for months. I was so thankful to speak with Melissa and Andre who were such great helps in getting 5 LBS shipped over to Toledo, Ohio on short notice. The coffee is phenomenal, food was great, the atmosphere in person is wonderful, and the energy of the staff and appreciation translated over the phone. So glad to have found this coffeehouse and I know we will be ordering more shipments in the future!
Im stingy when it comes to five stars but if it is well deserved then why not. Toast Coffeehouse for breakfast and/or lunch is an absolute win! Im not a vegan but enjoy vegan dishes from time to time and this is the place. Love it that they incorporate fruit and/or vegetable into every dish. Excellent food choices, great ambiance and polite service all in one! Outstanding!
The waitress Shannon is very polite and friendly person. I had the dig me omelet. The home fries and seasoned just right. The rye bread is fresh and homemade. Jim the owner is very polite and friendly person he let us host and Thanksgiving event for harmony cafe in here in witch we very mush appreciated. The service is fast and food is delicious. I would definitely recommend this place.
My wife and I had the pleasure of hosting our baby shower at Toast Coffeehouse in January 2022. Would give more stars if we could.Tiffany and her entire staff were so wonderful throughout the entire event. From the early planning stages to the day of the party, Tiffany was ON POINT. Always answering calls/e-mails promptly, offering ideas for floorplans and timelines, just always being a positive presence during a stressful time with COVID/Omicron was truly appreciated, as well. The food was delicious of course. We went for the open bar which the guests loved, and the beer/wine/cocktail selections were perfect for all in attendance.Wishing the Toast crew all the best, and thanks a million for being so great.Sincerely - The Bam Fam
Fast and friendly service + great food. Showed to our seat quickly though it quickly filled up before we finish our meal around 10am on Sunday.Told the waiter it was our first time and he helped us navigate the menu and make our choices.French toast was perfect! And the eggs, bacon, potatos also great. May become our normal Sunday breakfast date.
This location is phenomenal! On weekends joining the online waitlist is most helpful to ensure you’ll get a table during brunch rush hour.Service is attentive & quick. The food is AMAZING & serving size is plentiful.I prefer the Patch location over the other two despite the drive (not local) for the exceptional care of customers, restaurant cleanliness & employees by their manager, Dre, who is so friendly!10/10 recommend driving a few extra minutes for this location. :)
This place is great to take your family to. Pancakes are incredible and so are their omelets. The toast, of course, is amazing. Waffles are lacking a bit in flavor. If you order fruit it is very fresh and sweet. Lighting is awesome with the combination of electrical lights and natural lighting. Service is great, everyone is very friendly and you get the food fast. All in all, it is a great place to go alone, or take the family, for breakfast.
I left Long Island a few years back and did not realize Toast had another location! I have always loved Toast. The Patchogue location is huge! The decor is super cool and their staff is very helpful. Each time i go to Toast, there is a bit of a wait but its totally worth it.Their food is good. I personally love their mimosas and coffee.
Awesome breakfast place in the heart of up and coming Patchogue. Ive gone here several times over the last year and a half and every single time I leave happy. Fluffy pancakes, melt-in-your-mouth bacon, but my favorite is by far the Eggs Benedict! That dish can tend to be heavy, especially when served with potatoes, but they somehow manage to keep it light and fresh. Loved the fresh pepper and scallions that they added. The little touches like that is what sets this place apart. Probably my favorite breakfast place on Long Island!
We stopped in to get some tea and when we walked in we saw a bunch of different booths set up with people selling different things. If we didnt have to leave to meet up with some other people I would have spent more time looking around. The service was good. I didnt get the persons name who served us, but she was very nice an accommodating.
Its the Bomb.comGet hot Tennessee chicken and waffles if you can handle spice.Maple pecan syrup is so good.Brooklyn French toast is hella good too.Portions are big.Mimosa flight tasted like they used all fresh ingredients. Blueberry mimosa is the bestNutella mocha latte looks and tastes sooooo goood.
Eclectic, clean, good food excellent service. Very organized pleasant atmosphere and fast. The decor was industrial meets Spanish Gothic. I enjoyed a cup of coffee with amazing strawberry French toast. Price right indoor outdoor seating available. Parking located in the back of building which wasnt the easiest to find or recognize. Recommend if your in town to have a bite at this restaurant.
Recently visited with my better half and her sister and her husband. We waited for awhile on a Sunday morning. Lots to see and do in town while you wait an hour for your table. The food was amazing. Prices are reasonable for the huge portions you get. The staff, mostly young hipster types. They all killed it as far as our needs at our table. I will definitely visit again when I’m in Patchogue New York.
Literally my favorite breakfast/brunch spot on Long Island I’ve been to this place so many times in the past two years and not once have I had a bad experience. The workers are so friendly and always treat me and my friends nicely and always check to see how we’re doing. There always consistent whenever I go. On weekends I suggest that people should make reservations because of how busy it is and the wait time is about an hour and also people are off on the weekends. In my opinion weekdays are the best days to come but people are working those days. Overall this place deserves a 10/10
The food is great the coffees are awesome, but every single time we go, and try again there are an alarming amount of fruit flys. Every single time. Never fails. Just tried again this morning and fruit flys again. My daughter actually screamed out loud. The manager told us its because they have not had a good enough cold snap. Its a real shame. Like i said food is good, if you dont mind a few bugs in your food.
Love toast the food is amazing! I’ve been to all three locations and never disappointed. I used to live near Port Jeff went to toast, worked in Bay Shore went to toast, now I live in Medford and go to toast Patchogue. Beyond delicious food the restaurants each have a great vibe and decor.
Toast is THE BEST! Every time I eat here I try something new and I am never disappointed. Their home fries are the best around - soft, crispy, and spiced beautifully. You can keep it simple at Toast and get your classic egg dishes with meat options and of course, toast. Or get your classic pancakes or french toast. You can also branch out and try something new - like the Hawaiian Coast Quesadilla, with eggs, pulled pork, red peppers & pineapple - WOW was it delicious. The Apple Strudel french toast is to die for if youre a fan of the sweet breakfast. Itll have you feel like youre eating dessert! And the Tennessee chicken and waffles - I love chicken and waffles, theyre the perfect blend of savory and sweet. Toast stepped the classic dish up a notch with the cinnamon sugar sweet potato waffle and a spicy honey fried chicken. WOW! A decent chicken and waffles will require lots of hot sauce and syrup, but these were almost perfect without any sauce. I added some syrup to the waffles and it was a decadent, balanced brunch.
Hash and Eggs were near the best I have personally experienced on Long Island.Potatoes had a little bit of burnt pieces in it contributing to poor flavoring.Pancakes is the real issue here, very BLAND. Tastes like plain flour.Coffee burnt and old.Atmosphere and service amazing.Edit: Lied to about a Slight upcharge for changing toast to pancakes.Overcharged issue.
Had breakfast with my sister recently here. It was crowded that Saturday...it should be expected. I loved the fact they had seating outside in the back. The nice breeze made our time together AWESOME. She enjoyed her breakfast and coffee as I listened and laughed. I wanted Del Fuego and that was our next stop. And yes the laughter continued this time with Margaritas.
Food was great and our server was awesome! however, i think they gave me and my friend food poisoning. we got the tennessee chicken and waffles, went to target after and immediately started feeling sick with the same symptoms which were symptoms of food poisoning. other than that the chicken and waffles were good and had a great time would have been a 10/10 if i wasn’t sick
I went to Toast with my wife and son for Mother’s Day. Our sever greeted us shortly after the hostess brought us to our table. She took our order quickly and efficiently and our drinks came out almost immediately. While the wait for the food was long, was long, our server was very accommodating, never rushed us, and attended to us appropriately. I believe her name was Meagan. Multiple patrons seemed to be annoyed with the long wait, but then don’t go out on a busy holiday. The food was delicious and we will most definitely be returning!
This was our first visit to toast. We have been looking forward to going for some time now. It did not disappoint! Ambiance was great, clean, great space between tables. coffee drinks were great! Food was amazing. This is a must for breakfast, brunch or lunch. We look forward to coming back again!
The owner is a great guy and I like the concept. I’ve been going her since they opened. I used to love everything but it’s not the case anymore. I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 for that reason. The pancakes have gone down hill, and the oat meal isn’t great. The sandwiches, Caesar salad and burger are amazing. Some of the services are slow, but the last time I was there was had an amazing server. She really went out of her way to make our experience nice. She custom made me an amazing coffee!!! The coffees, drinks and lattes make it worth going here if even for that only. There is usually a wait but you can grab a coffee Togo and wait outside if you would like. Definitely worth going, especially if you order the right meal.
Absolutely love Toast!! Best breakfast in the area!!Enjoyed the Salmon Benedict delicious!!!Saved a few calories no english muffin & tomatoes on the side!My husband had the carrot cake pancakes with two perfectly cooked eggs !!We had the sweetest most accommodating server.. her name was Bree! She made us feel welcome & well taken care of from the start!!She made great suggestions & was never in a rush!!That wasnt easy with 2 large tables behind us!!Andre was also amazing!!Wanted to make sure we were enjoying everything & also checking to see if we needed anything!!We look forward to returning to Toast in the near future 😋
Been here a few times. Last visit, I had the avocado toast and grilled cauliflower quesadilla with sweet potato fries The coffee is very good. I had the cappuccino with oat milk and my wife had the caramel latte. Food took a while to come but the aesthetic is very rustic and beautiful. Great place to go with family!
Been to this location on a regular week day and then today valentines day. After putting my name on a waiting list of 55 minutes on the website I arrived to wait another 20 minutes then after 30 min past I asked the host how much longer and I had to wait another 25 minutes so 2 hours of wait time. After sitting down the waitress was very nice gave us drinks almost immediately. We placed our orders for breakfast both times within 10 minutes of sitting down. Here comes the negative. 45-50 minutes to get our meals from time of ordering and the food was nothing fancy. Yes its beautiful eye appeal is awesome but for what they are charging for things as simple as French toast ($14.95)and pancakes ($13.95) and a side of bacon is $5 it is not worth it and very upsetting. Also the seating is very odd. We had people standing as close and a foot away waiting for Doordarshan orders and pickups. Any closer there jackets would have been in our plates. Im sure alot of people like this place and there are positives like the staff and nice warming place but the bad out weighs the good. Alot of other places nearby that are faster serviced and better food for the price.
After an hour and 45 minute wait, we are seated and it takes another hour to get our food. The utensils were dirty. The coffee cups looked they bought them at a thrift store with chips in them. It looks like they emptied out grandmas cupboard of mismatched mugs.(plus they sell mugs with their name on them! And have art on the walls with a price tag starting at $2000) The coffee was rancid. The food was cold. My order was scrambled eggs hash browns sausage and toast. When I received my food it was luke warm, no sausage, one slice of toast with no butter. The boys bringing out the food brought the food to five tables showing each table the food then he finally found the right table...good protection on non transmittal of germs! He was wearing jeans and a t shirt that look like he has been wearing for 2 days. The waitress had on stretchy blue and white pants that had some horrid design with a t shirt and look like she just rolled out of bed. I told her about the food, she didnt even attempt to correct it and responded its not my fault I dont make the food. That was just MY food that was messed up.... Never again. Do not waste your time or money!!!!@
Ok as far as food, service and drinks 5 stars, but omg we have been coming here since it has opened it is alwayssssss sooooooo HOT!! there HAS TO BE SOMETHING DONE about the LACK OF AIR CONDITIONING in this restaurant! Every time we go in the months from May-Sept we are dripping sweat the experience is beyond unenjoyable. Its mind boggling how more people dont complain about this. I know I know first world problems but my goodness they really need to invest into a new central air conditioning system that can withstand the size of their establishment. I wont be back until winter thats for sure. Everyone in there is a sweaty mess, customers, staff. Its awful.
Was nervous to attend a baby shower during the pandemic to start, and to be honest didnt feel that the staff were as careful as they could have been. Way too small a space for the event, everything felt very unplanned and discombobulated. I feel for them, though, these are rough times. Food was decent!
Very BUSY, Had a 20 minute wait, arriving at 1145am. While waiting we got menus and were able to order when seated. Cool, interesting space, roomy with high ceilings. Eclectic, unusual, interesting art on walls. Service friendly, polite, and efficient. Food really good with unusual gourmet touches. Real interesting menu! Enough food in each order to be pleasantly full and not bloated. By no means inexpensive! Good crowd mix with an acceptable noise levels!
I had a wonderful brunch with family and friends. The place is gorgeous and reasonably priced. The Bloody Mary I ordered was reasonably spiced (I like them burning hot) and the food was delicious. I had the Eggs Benedict over avocado toast. Service was quick, portions were large enough for leftovers, and the drinks were well made. I would definitely go back as it is larger than the Port Jefferson Toast so you can get in more quickly.
One of my favorites! I could eat breakfast here every morning. Everything on the menu is absolutely perfect all the time and the atmosphere is very cool. Cool little building they have established with some interesting decor. The coffee is awesome and so is the wait staff. Always friend and make kind gestures every time you go in there. Their eggs Benedict (Benedict Arnold) is my favorite thing on the menu and is always perfect. Their waffles and pancakes are also very awesome. Getting any specialty coffee’s or latte’s? Enjoy their designs they put on top to add that little extra touch. Definitely a place to go back to time and time again.
Today we ordered breakfast for the first time time since the pandemic. It was great!!!! We missed you and are happy you’re back. Great food and people. If you could have given me a haircut you really would have made my day 🤣Thanks for being a great asset to Patchogue
Food and service is usually great. We ordered for Mothers Day online and paid a day ahead for curbside pick up at 11:30am. Arrived and called them at 11:30 and it took 10 minutes to get through, at which point they told me it would be 30/35 minutes. Its now 12:45 and Ive been waiting for over an hour, and theyve told us it will be another 45 minutes. Awful service. Tried to go inside to speak to someone and there is a huge line out the back with customers all in the same situation, having been there for 1 hour +. At the VERY LEAST they shouldve called and let customers know about the delay. I understand its Mothers Day and they get busy, but a 2 hour delay without even calling, this is completely unacceptable!Update: after waiting for 2 hours, having to go back in to get food they forgot, and getting one of our orders wrong, they gave 30% off. Most restaurants would comp your meal at that point. Absolutely ridiculous. If I sat in a restaurant for 2 hours waiting for food I have no doubt that the bill would be comped. Waiting for a call back from the owner and hoping they will make it right.
I love toast. The food is great. The hostesses seem a little lost when seating. Made my 65 year old father wait to be seated until my gf and I got there which was going to be 10 minutes but he ended up having to wait longer after we got there as well when they could have just seated him. It wasnt a big party. Only 3 so Im unsure why they couldnt seat an elderly man.
Great place to have brunch or lunch. Location is great, right on main street and surrounded by bars and other restaurants. 40 minute wait on a Saturday wasnt that bad,it took about 20 minutes before we got seats for two at the bar. Restaurant is a lot bigger than it seems. Service was great and very attentive staff. They do NOT serve hard liquor/drinks,but they do serve mimosas/Bloody mary, champagne and beer. Food was good but not the greatest, about average. Portions are good for the price,2 coffees, one order of banana pancakes, one order of breakfast burrito with avocado eggs and cheese came out to $32.00 plus tip. This is one of the places you go for the hype more than for the quality. I will definitely visit again and try the brunch menu. If you are not a fan of waiting make sure to call ahead and check the waiting time.
Place is great. Lots of Steampunk and early nineteen-hundreds vintage art all over the walls, as well as various paintings for sale in the hallway out front. Food has always been excellent, never too long of a wait once ordered and always decent quality. Staff are always friendly and extremely helpful, some of the best service in the area. Prices are typical for what you would expect in New York slightly inflated but worth it for the quality and service. All the breakfast burritos are excellent. The eggs are always fluffy and never rubbery. Good coffee, with fun mugs. Bar as well. Excellent establishment for breakfast.
Great food, good vibes, gracious staff! Theres always a lively atmosphere here, where staff and patrons alike make for friendly visits... but the food? Yum! Best brunch around... Miss Lucys, Cripple Creek and the Corned Beef Hash? It hurts that I have to make an actual decision every time.
Toast has been highly popular for a breakfast/brunch spot for years and theres a reason why. Toast offers a variety of options to please every diner. They also have Gluten Free and Vegan options as well. Highly recommend the breakfast wraps and the chicken and waffles!
Toast was a very good experience. The atmosphere was great and the decor was cool! Id call it industrial, steampunk, rustic theme. Our server was great. She was very polite, professional, attentive and was always smiling. The coffee was much better than whats served at your average restaurant and the cranberry, fresh squeezed orange juice mimosa was on point! The eggs Benedict were served with crispy avocado topped with crumbled bacon, a side of home fries and was very tasty! I cannot wait to go back and try something else on the menu. I would absolutely recommend this place for a good breakfast, brunch and lunch!
Great food and drink selection! But they only put two small slices of bacon as a side. I feel like if you are putting that small of slices, then at least put 4. Otherwise the service is great and I have no other complaints. But when you are a bacon lover like myself. It makes it hard to want to keep having breakfast there because of it.
Great place but the staff needs some work.I tried there Boston creme special; it was just awful. But my waitress was nice in fixing that for me. It’s the support staff that was driving me crazy. It’s the constant standing over your shoulder, always ready to grab a plate or take stuff off the table like give me a minute to finish. Just because I stopped touching it doesn’t mean I’m done. Made it kinda hard to enjoy. But my server was the sweetest so it helped.
Went for brunch and the food was outstanding. I had the Delancey omelet with a side of multigrain bread. We waited about 20 minutes for a table but it was totally worth it. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully made. I could have fed my family of four with the bread portion size. I literally asked my waitress to take it away so that I would stop eating it and did not blow my carb allotment for the month
Toast has a unique menu of breakfast items and coffees but quite honestly, its hyped. Crowded and noisy literally all the time, even if the food was outstanding, one couldnt tell the person across from oneself without yelling. I appreciate the creative dishes, but for the experience and food, find a solid diner.
Even though there can be a wait to sit and eat it is worth the wait. Unless you go during the week it isnt that bad of a wait or no wait at all, Ive sat at the bar as well. Each time Ive gone Ive gotten a very nice server so that makes me happy! Most importantly, the food is amazing!!!! Hands down one of the best breakfast spots around.
While I would love to lower my rating because getting into this place sucks, that wouldnt be fair. Once seated the service is excellent, especially for such a busy place. They also offer text notification when your table is ready so you can go walk the village while waiting. EVERY RESTAURANT NEEDS TO OFFER THIS MODERN SERVICE! The food is of course yummy otherwise it wouldnt be so busy. They do a great job hiring and/or training staff. Well done.
One of those places that people rave about, but the last few times I have been disappointed. I feel that because they are so busy, the staff are trying to rush you out. The food is reasonable but I have ended up with some items being cold as they try to keep the order together. I used to love the mimosas but last time I went they werent as good. I would only go again at a time that was not as busy to have a more enjoyable experience.
Ive been coming to toast for almost 2 years. The food is always delicious. But today we had a terrible experience. We were seated at the counter. We waited almost 15 minutes and no one came over to take our order. A waitress came over and said our waitress would come over but she would take our order for us. Our food was delivered by the servers. We never had anyone check on us. I had to flag someone down just to get a fork. We never even received our bill after sitting there an hour. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had here. The food is wonderful but to be completely ignored by the staff is disgusting.
First time today with my son whos on mid-winter break! Really nice place, great atmosphere and food was incredible, with lots of choices even for me who is not a breakfast person! Waiter were very nice and courteous. Wait time of around 15 minutes was not too bad as theyll send you a text when your table is ready - you can window shop or go to the library next door to browse a magazine like we did!
4.5 stars. Very clean, food was very good and they prepared our meals to our specific requests. Minus 1/2 star for the pushy bus boy and bus girl. We were a big group and may have stayed a few minutes to chat after our meal but we left a nice tip. However, we were not all up on our feet yet when they swooped in and forced us to quickly abandon the table. It felt uncomfortable and a bit rude.
The food here is amazing, but the staff needs more training. Waited 2 hours for a 45 minute wait. I ordered a side of fries and cheese as my friends ordered entire meals. Mine was the last one to come out, 10 minutes after my friends received their orders. After asking the Blake Griffin lookalike waiter where my fries were, he replied, it will come out when it comes out.Nice.
If you are gluten free, this is the place for you. The options include french toast, pancakes and even waffles. There are so many different flavors and unique items. Price is not too bad at all considering you get a large amount of food. Coffee selection is pretty wide. I recommend getting a side of their homefries with whatever you order.
Food was pretty good, prices are great for the quality food, service was courteous... in the beginning. My only complaint - which dampened the experience - is that once you order your food, they ‘drive-by’ with the check plopped on your table, and bus boys start removing condiments & items from your table - all without saying a word. Mind you, we were halfway through our meals... I felt like I was in the twilight zone. I could understand if we were lingering, or were a large party monopolizing space and servers. No asking if everything was okay, or God forbid, I wanted to order a coffee or dessert. All is well that ends well, and it didn’t end well here. :(
Average diner food in a setting that you would expect higher quality meals especially for the price.Went for breakfast, left feeling very full, but felt quality was not worth the cost or wait. Seems like it must be the only sit down breakfast joint in the area surrounding which allows it to charge so much and have guaranteed business.
It was alright. I had the pumpkin crumb pancakes with sausage and 2 eggs that they charge extra for. I asked for over medium, they came out well done. The pancakes were huge but dry. The home fries were a bit bland. No onions just a strong hot paprika flavor. My husband got the peanut butter and banana French toast. That was tasty but heavy on pb. The bill came to$40!! That seems a bit much for breakfast. They should offer combos like country kitchen or Dennys. Ala cart for breakfast? No thanks. If you want fluffy delicious buttery pancakes, go a half mile east and try country kitchen. Half the price, more bang for your buck and just as awesome varieties of pancakes, French toast and even crepes! Their country fried steak and eggs are amazing!! Anyway, thats my review. Take it as you want.
One of my favorite spots on the planet.. the food NEVER EVER disappoints and the vibe in this place is just something you have to experience to understand!! BEST french toast i have ever had.... LOVE their lunch menu too.. I cant remember the actual name of the sandwich i crave on a daily basis.. but its chicken salad with gorgonzola cheese, cucumbers on a foccia bread... ITS OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! LOVE this place. two thumbs wayyyy up
Delicious breakfast and coffee. I highly recommend the eggs Benedict and cappuccino. The atmosphere was very nice too, it has an industrial feel. It is well located on a main road with other shops around. I believe parking is either metered or down the residential roads.
Went twice this past week and each time the breakfast is good. I usually get the Avocado BLT, Delancey Street or spicy huevos migas omelettes. The only thing I forget to do is tell them to make the eggs more well done. Although they are perfectly cooked I just like my eggs that way. The home fries are also delicious. I recommend going on the waitlist because the place gets extremely crowded on weekends. We lucked out on Christmas Eve morning with barely a wait. There is meal serviceat the bar as well and we had plenty of room compared to the table.
Toast coffeehouse has all components of a good brunch spot- wonderful coffee, large tasty breakfast dishes, and friendly service- but what makes it great is the energy and intention that surrounds it. i have found myself at the receiving end of manager andre du chausses kindness many times and can always count on his warm personality and kind conversations to brighten my day- not to mention his recommendation of the vermont maple blend- now my absolute favorite. andre, thank you for allowing me to bring a little piece of home with me on my new adventure. toast coffee has officially landed in israel 🌞
Three of us went for lunch, about a 15-minute wait. That was expected as this place is new and not very big.Food was delicious; our group had a burger, the chicken and waffles and grilled cheese. Big mugs for terrific coffee. Staff was very friendly.Only complaint -- and this is a priority -- is the music is too loud. The acoustics arent great to begin with and the loud music makes it difficult to carry on a conversation. If they lowered the volume of the music, you could still hear it, but at the same time enjoy the people youre having a meal with without shouting to each other.
1st time there and had a ridiculously long wait of over an hour. I felt if I didnt go up to check what was going on, Id probably would never have gotten a table. We were sat in a table for 4 and, being in a party of 2, I asked the hostess to sit people next to us who were waiting just as long. She said No, they can wait. The pancakes were good but the sausage, eggs, and toast were bland. Definitely not worth the long wait.
Toast patchogue was delicious the only downside was that when my girlfriend and I got there at 9:40 am there was already a half an hour wait. But the food was well worth the wait I suggest getting a side of corned beef hash it was some of the best I ever had. Also the barista there is excellent at his job.
Pre Ford review. This is for waiting forever to be sat when there are plenty ty of empty tables available. There was a table with 10 open seats right up front. I waited 45 minutes for a seat. By the time they seat us I will. E ordering lunch instead of breakfast. I do indeed to do this review before the food because I may actually like the food. I have waited this long whats another hourPost sesting review The food was very good. The waiter was friendly a d atte tiveI broke the stars down as follows. Each star is for good and no star is for not goodThe two good stars are for food and waiter the three bad starts are for wait time. Bad hostesses not friendly at all and sitting people they knew first. And last bad star is for management. You dont leVe tables empty for an hour while you have a waiting room full of people.
This a realllly cute spot. I think what stands out most about this place is its decor. The place seems steampunk inspired with really great paintings of farm animals dressed in suits ( whos doesnt love that) with great stools and tables. The food is fantastic. They have gluten free options. They serve every breakfast food you can imagine. My personal favorite is the French toast with strawberries. The omelette are huge! And most importantly everything tastes fresh. There is always quite a long wait so dont show up starving or get there EARLY !

2022-02-24Picked this place out the blue on Sunday for brunch. If you want to plan ahead and do a reservation I highly recommend it. The wait was over 2 hours for a walk in at prime time. I’m so happy I didn’t give up and end up somewhere else because WOW! The food, drinks, and customer service was outstanding. The price for everything to be seemed decent but the food and everything just justified it to me. So worth the wait.

2022-05-31Had breakfast here with my husband a couple of weeks ago and we had a great experience. We opted to get the mimosa flight which is well worth it for the price. I also ordered the breakfast burrito which was delicious and extremely filling. Toast is the kind of establishment that people of all ages can go to. I surely will be going back!

2022-02-20Amazing server and very knowledgeable staff regarding vegan, modifications, etc.quick service.Ordered 2 hot coffees, one with almond milk foam, almond milk matcha latte(not pictured), splendid Benedict Arnold (sub for bagel and no bacon got extra home fries instead) side of home fries, vegan banana walnut short stack, side of vegan egg.Pretty much anything on the menu can be made vegan!!!Portions were very generous, quick service, server remembered everything and was very patient with alterations and knew even minor details of what was and wasn’t vegan. Drinks are very strongLove the decor, vibe, and food is always fresh and very good.Only cons are the tight space and long wait time. Make sure to make a reservation/join waitlist online otherwise it’s a 1.5 hr wait.

2021-09-25Great food, good atmosphere, quick service. Parking sucks though. Graham cracker french toast was really good and the orange juice was better than most. Bacon was crispy, but not overcooked and tasted great. Server was friendly.

2021-12-05My wife and I had our wedding at Toast last week. Tiffany (the wedding coordinator & manager) couldn’t have been more excellent to us. From meeting with us weekly, to answering all of our anxiety riddled emails she exceeded every expectation that we had. As far as having an event there, we couldn’t have asked for anything more; the food and ambiance were incredible. Not a person left without telling us that we had one of the best weddings that they have ever been to.I absolutely recommend using Toast for any event.Thank you to Tiffany and Missy!

2022-02-16Had a party in their semi-private room for about 25 guests. Andre was super accommodating when we went to see the room and book. The online portal where we could see our menu choices and the bill breakdown leading up to our party was reassuring. The staff on the day of was friendly and helpful. Our party was standing while guests were still arriving and staff took coffee orders standing, which was nice. The cutesy, mismatched coffee mugs were a hit. Several of our party went out of their way to tell us how much they enjoyed the food. We definitely went past the allotted time and staff had to start setting up for the afternoon party, but they never made us feel rushed or unwelcome while we collected our stuff and got ready to leave. Highly recommend if youre looking for great food for a fair price, with a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.

2021-12-15Love, love this place!! Its a great place for a first date!! Great atmosphere, the food is amazing! Ive had alot of things off the menu and its all delicious. I love the decor, the whole place is a masterpiece, every wall is interesting. Its warm and cozy. They close early so i would recommend checking their times. I always feel like im on Vacation when i come here. Nice waiters and waitresses. Ive taken my kids here many times, and they love it too. Today i had the cinnamon swirl french toast, really good! Who ever runs that place is really on top of their game. I would give them 10 stars! If i could. The food is always hot and fresh and the employees are very professional and respectful. Good energy!
