Tokyo Market in other cities:
If you are looking for Korean groceries(Korean food) and can’t find the store near by Forest hills. Here is the place where you need!I am always impressed by these shop owners! They are kind and supper professionals! The store is supper clean and well stocked and fair priced! Their Japanese side dishes that they made are my favorites, so delicious!I bet this is top-notch Asian market in this area.
I buy my frozen seafood, mushrooms and beer here. Tokyo Market has a great selection of frozen seafood (cooked or raw) and other foods. I like the variety of korean food, and I always find something new to try at home. The food made in house is tasty and they sell a highly addictive egg sandwich! I really like this place and highly recommend it.
The name indicates Japanese groceries but I mostly come here for the well-stocked inventory of Korean products! I really enjoy this location, very convenient if you cannot always go to h mart or any asian grocery mart. Kind of pricey but their stock of snacks seems to be more extensive than Sakura-ya.
Well stocked, well priced and extremely clean supermarket. Wide isles make the shopping experience easy and enjoyable. They are super knowledgeable and helpful, and are extremely aware and responsible with cleaning and sanitizing, as well as enforcement of masks. Id recommend them 100%.
The market is a new & good addition to the neighborhood, clean, bright and wide-spaced.There were still empty shelves during soft opening and hope to see more options shortly. However, it’s not an authentic Japanese grocery store and the price is slightly higher than Sakura Ya Market.

2021-06-30Great place. Its not huge or anything, but it almost definitely has what you need. It has all the necessities for East Asian cooking. The building is also excellent (air-conditioned, very clean, and bright). The cashiers are helpful and very nice. After you get all the groceries you need, be sure to get some of their cheap and tasty onigiri. Ill be coming here again for sure.

2021-09-05Started off not so great but eventually after months of being open they got most of all the things I expect to see in an east asian grocery as well as some other asian country items. Now they are a great standard. The prepared food is incredible. You would not expect a store like this to have great prepared food but it is pretty much always phenomenal. I dont know if they are making it themselves, I suppose they must be. Every time you get anything it is restaurant quality or better, even the to-go small stuff in plastic wrappers in the fridge section, like onigiri and sandwiches. Plenty of room to walk in the big aisles even though the store is small. Overall a solid A.

2021-09-19I really like this place. Come often for miso paste and other goodies. They have a lot of thing a you might not see at other grocery stores. Most of what they have is Japanese or Chinese foods, cooking tools, and even some Dragon Ball Z figures. They even have some pre-made food to go. I especially like their onigiri. I hope they dont go out of business as they sell specialty items and Ive seen other such stores close after a few years.

2021-08-24Great selection of classic Japanese goods! Also worth mentioning they have a section for one piece, dragon ball, and Naruto figurines if youre into that sort of stuff. Only complaint was the curry buns we got were a bit stale... perhaps it was just the day we went, not worth dropping more than 1 ☆ for it though haha.
