Wow! Totally exceeded my expectations! The best bruschetta I’ve had in 49 years, chicken parm was tasty too. Jameson & Anthony we’re great with my downstate special requests in the back room speakeasy, & I am particular. What a surprise and treat this venue is, our first time here, this will be our regular place for sure. Whole staff was welcoming and friendly. I can see why we were recommended here.
So this is one of the few reviews where my negative is really a positive so lets get started. The people: They are extremely friendly and helpful and willing to make suggestions (when asked) when you cant quite decide what to get. They work well and fast under pressure and still have that friendly attitude. The food: Let me start by saying: I would contemplate doing illegal things for the Bang Bang sauce. Their pizza is top notch and the Bang Bang sauce is amazing. The only negative is that some of the new stuff isnt great BUT to have a place that is willing to experiment is Awesome!. I will gladly try some food that I dont like for the chance to try new things. The best part about this place is they rarely miss the mark with their experiments.Overall its a 5 star place. Good food, good people, and decent prices.
Tommy Guns is our go-to for pizza when we stay at Diamond Point. The woman that answers the phone is genuinely the nicest, most patient person Ive ever placed a pizza or takeout order with.If you are intrigued by the bang bang chicken pizza, you have to try it and wont be disappointed. When we order for the beach we always get an extra one of these because everyone tries it and then eats twice as much as they said they would, (Dad and Chris!).Pro tip: if you are impatient NY/NJ-ians, order before the evening rush like around 5 or 530 the latest for the fastest delivery time (45+/-), even if you arent going to eat until around 7.Anytime after 6-630 all bets are off. Does not warrant less stars because lets be honest, everyone on the lake is calling for pizza at 630-7.
Went to Tommy Guns tonight for the first time based upon a reccomend from a freind. It was excellent. Sat at the bar, Jameson was the bartender. Had a few drinks and ordered our pizza to go. Super friendly and personable place. He even had a good play list going. We a got treated to an order of garlic balls that were out of this world delicious. Once we got home and enjoyed our sausage and pepper pizza it too was outstanding! I think the best in the entire area. This is a great little unknown place that should be on your list of must dos. I am so looking forward to going back for a meal. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked great. A must!
Pizza was cold when I got it, the delivery guy dropped the order of garlic knots on the ground, they didnt have more so wanted us to wait until next day and still wanted us to pay full price. Will never order from them again. Prices are not worth the food I made better by the the time I was 15 yrs old Stewarts has better food
First impressions! Yikes. Not impressed at all. No one acknowledged us when we walked in. Music in bar so loud we couldn’t hear ourselves. Bartender didn’t look up. All employees looked “harried”. Wasn’t well organized or welcoming. Shame. We thought we’d found a diamond in the rough. Went down the street.
They are excellent. I love pizza, but not just any pizza, good quality pizza. And for that reason, I can reassure you that Tommy Guns is really good. They have a thin crust style of dough with a generous helping of cheese. They have a plethora of great topping options, plus a restaurant environment that is cool and relaxing with friendly people who work there.
Definitely need more help or someone who can estimate order time. Was told 45 minutes and upon my arrival, pizzas were just going in the oven. Pizzas then sat on top of the oven while I waited for my wing order. By the time, we get the wings it was an hour and half from order time and our pizzas were cold. This is the 3rd and last time for us.
The ordering process is fairly simplistic, but the execution is not smooth. Dully understanding that this is a small town local pizza shop that at this point only offers pickup or delivery only. You have to call 1 number to order and another different number to notify the pizzeria when youve arrived. After trying their order number for 30 minutes and getting a mixture of busy signals or the numbet doesnt work we drove down to see if we can order in person which we were told with attitude no call the number.Attitude aside the pizza is actually very good. The sauce that is on the pie is not acidic, the lumberjack is a meat eaters dream come true. If the ordering process werent ridiculous I would have gotten pizza here more than once during my recent visit to the area.
Tommy Guns has amazing food! The ingredients are fresh & all food is made to order. They use Boars Head brand meats & cheeses exclusively on their subs, wraps, stromboli, calzones, pizza & salads plus Oscars Smokehouse bacon as well as their famous More Than Mustard (& I believe they use their horseradish mayo). Their salad dressings are also made in house & are delicious. Another thing that puts their subs over the top is the out of this world Italian sub rolls that they bake fresh in-house every morning! The homemade pizza crust is perfection, the pies are huge & they certainly dont skimp on the toppings or the cheese! Highly recommend!
I’ve been a local for 22 years, and this is the worst pizza shop that has ever been in town. 45 minutes turned into two and a half hour wait for my food. When I got my food it was cold and, they messed up my order. Service was trash. Also the food was nothing special either. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND !
Fantastic pastas, salads, and garlic bread! But the pizza itself.....not so much.Weve ordered pizza 4-5 times, and every time we cant even finish it. and usually we feel kinda sick for a while after.. even the regular ol pepperoni pizza wasnt great. The wings are usually overcooked and dry as well.I kinda feel like they should have been more of an italian restaurant rather than a pizza place specifically? because again, the pasta, bread and salad is superb. But as for the pizza, Im not sure well bother trying it again.
Knowing that they where open on the off season made us go in the first place. When we fo found it there was cars lined up along the r. This is definitely a hot spot for the town! And for good reason to. At first I was like why wouldn’t they put the sauce on the wings, when I had themi figured out why. They hash a perfect crunch to them. Amazing! And they do not skip out on toppings for the pizzas! There was so much meat and cheese! Just the way you wanna make it at home!Definitely worth the money!!!
I ordered my pizza I was told it would be 45 minutes it was well over an hour and a half and I called a couple times after checking on the status of my order and the woman who answered the phone actually hung up on me. The food is good the customer service is horrible

2022-02-04Pizza is 5 stars, dough is homemade and as good as it gets. The margarita’s tomatoes, cheese and basil are fresh. The meatballs are homemade and really tasty. I highly recommend eating here.

2022-06-22I’ve tried all the chicken parmigiana Heros (subs) in warrensburg. This is the best and would be exceptional anywhere. The bread is nicely toasted with a nice flavor to the sauce and chicken and the hero was not too dry. I’ve been working (physical labor) all day and I honestly couldn’t finish the entire thing. I’ll be coming back probably every time I’m near Town. It’s totally worth it.

2021-10-21Good service on a busy weekend night and tasty garlic knots, but sadly disappointed by the quality of their pizza. I won’t be back due the underwhelming pizza, it’s just not good. Literally down the road you’ll get a significantly better pizza from The Pizza Shop, go there instead if you’re looking for pizza.

2021-05-25We walked in ready to order food and beer.. They direcred us to their new speakeasy.. Pizza was good. Hot garlic parm paired well with the frog Alley sour we got on tap. We were able to do a flight. Our favorite was Artisanal beer works beer that they have in cans. Very 20s vibe.
