The shop offers a wide assortment rocks, minerals, and gems for my budding rock hounds. The staff is friendly and offers just the right amount of service--attentive but not overbearing. And the coffee selection is outstanding, freshly ground while you wait. Toms never disappoints!

This place is everything I want in one place. The vibes are positive and the employees are very friendly and helpful. They have everything from body soap to stuffed animals and prom dresses. They also have a variety of coffee flavors. I highly recommend trying them !!! Some may argue that it’s expensive but to me, it deserves every penny.
Shop staff where very helpful and awesome. They have the type of soap I love and their coffee smells amazing. If the coffee is as good as it smells Ill be a regular not just for soap.
I went to shop for prom dresses here and I found a dress I really love! Kaitlyn (the employee) was extremely kind to me and my grandmother while we were looking for my prom dress. She recommended the most beautiful dress I have ever seen. I love how each dress is one-of-a-kind: nobody at your school can order the same dress you have. This helps to prevent conflicts between students, like arguing about who looks better in the dress or general complaints about other girls wearing the same dress. There truly is a dress for everyone! I would definitely recommend people to go here for prom dress shopping!
The staff was really friendly and helpful. I bought the most beautiful formal dress from Tom’s. I’ll definitely be going back! They also sell cute jewelry, and they have every coffee flavor you can think of. I bought two small bags of Dark chocolate and Mocha for my espresso maker.

This place is nice and the aromas of this store definitely a pleasant place and so is the staff. Great for finding homemade things. Candles,clothing and treats. But some of the prices on things are insane. I guess because its handmade so Id like to make that point but. 30$ on a small item that fits in my hand just insane to me.
This place is great. Very unique they have everything for soap to Japanese style cutlery even prom dresses. I think the only thing they are missing is a photo shoot in the back haha.
We finally stopped in here after recommendations from a few people. There is so much to look at! Great gift ideas, amazing coffee options that can be freshly ground, stunning prom dresses, cute stuffed animals, delicious truffles and so much more! Seriously, so much more!! Definitely a must-go. The staff was friendly and helpful.
As a disclaimer I visited this location during a pandemic situation which can alleviate my main problem.The store itself is nice and clean. The staff make for a very friendly atmosphere. It felt a little cramped and it was difficult to navigate at times with some aisles being dead ends. I only really want to dock half a star for that but alas I cannot so i would prefer to round down to make for a more honest assessment.Im also a coffee person so I was definitely in love with the WALL of coffees in the location and they allow you to purchase quarter pounds which is great if you just want to try a few flavors rather than committing to a particular type of coffee or over buying.

I probably have driven by this shop at least 20 times over the years and finally decided to make the stop today.A delightful eclectic experience from the moment you walk in the door. The aroma of fresh ground coffee greets your sense of smell and the Turkish pottery delights your sense of sight. As you wander through the store, there is a little bit of something or everything for EVERYONE.From handmade jewelry, childrens toys and gifts, consignment clothing, stunning unique cards, wall tapestries, hats, gloves, dresses, masks, scarves and everything in-between. Finally make sure you dont leave without delighting your sense of taste with their delicious truffles, which may seem a bit on the pricey side until you take a bite.This is one of my best finds in quite awhile, a friendly staff makes this shop a must stop in my book! This is a great local spot! Be careful with the chocolate truffles, they taste like the incense that are burned in the store. All of the packaged food that weve bought seems to be fine though. The coffee is amazing. Its just the truffles in the display case that taste like incense.

This place is nice. Alot of gift ideas and local food items like sauces and honey. Their flavored whole bean/fresh ground coffees are AMAZING!! Tons of flavors and varieties. And the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The coffee definitely keeps me coming back! Its the only stuff well drink at home now.

Tom and his staff are great,friendly and helpful. Tom is the best place if you have any old gold or silver that you want to actually be paid for. He and his jewelry people are very knowledgeable and very fair with market value prices. I have been to all scrape gold buying establishments within 60 miles of Bing and Toms is the absolute best and only place to go. Also Toms is the only place I know of that has a a large assortment of specialty truffles. They are amazing . I talked with Tom about them and he explained he did very in depth research to find the best truffles in the United States and his were shipped in from Texas. And they are always always fresh and perfect. You. Tom also has a good assortment of precious gems and geodes,very nice hard to find stones. He has some giant very expensive rare stones all the way down to small under a dollar gems. You can tell Tom him self takes great pride in running a small local store where the customers are truly cared about and staff well taken care of. Its not a big corporate uncaring conglomerate that only cares about the numbers on paper and following some nonsense rules thatmake no sense. This is a must go store if in the Binghamton area even if to just look around And sample some of the exotic foods that Toms has out for FREE to try before buying. Great place. As a local business owner in the community, Shopping and buying local is very important to me.....Tom’s Coffee cards and gifts makes this concept VERY easy! Love this shop!!!! Their coffee is the start of my every morning (some favorites are Copenhagen, pumpkin spice and almond joy.) but the experience is what keeps me in this store for hours! The pottery is amazing, the jewelry stunning, and I absolutely love the huge selection of scarves!!! I buy most of the gifts I give at Tom’s because I am positive that they be as unique and amazing as the friends and family I give them to. In my opinion there is nothing like getting lost in this colorful, eclectic store for hours...why not? They even give you full cup of hot coffee, complimentary while you shop!!!! Love the store and the super people who work there, they go above and beyond to make my experience great, every time I walk through the door!
Its a feast for the eyes! The inventory changes frequently, always something new to see! If you are looking for a special gift for yourself or someone else, you will find it here. This is not bargain basement shopping. The inventory is genuine and beautiful, and you will pay for it. And it will be worth every penny.
I cant think of a bad thing to say about Toms coffee and gift store. One of the first places my now husband took me to when I first moved here, I love everything about the store. One of our favorite roasted coffees is Jamaican Me Crazy. We even now have out-of-town relatives, that requested as Christmas gifts. If you dont see what you need at Toms ask someone. Friendly service always clean you buy a ring and you need it sized up they can do that for you too.
Worst experience Ive ever had in Binghamton NY. My saint of a girlfriend and I went in to browse and purchase some jewelry. We were followed around the store like we were common thieves. Ive never felt so embarrassed. My significant other was in tears so we left w/o purchasing anything. No need to say we will never go back into this establishment. They should be ashamed. I give one star because I believe theres good in everyone, and for all I know the place may have a problem with thievery.
Binghamtons best hidden gift shop! It can be pricey but all handmade and supports local artists and crafts makers! You will not be disappointed! And there coffee are awesome!
Amazing COVID protocols, as well as courteous workers guiding your parking, greeting at the door with guidance throughout the store, a young lady taking coffee orders inside the door, and markings on the floor in a one way direction. For such a tiny store the inventory is huge and the flow of the store allows you to see everything. By the time I placed my coffee order, wandered thru the store, and got to the cashier, my coffees were waiting and ready to go. Really excellent job, Tom and staff. ❤
This is such a nice place! Huge assortment of interesting, eclectic & artistic merchandise! Great place if u r looking 4 something special & different. They sell: handmade pottery, hand painted leather pocketbooks, an assortment of items made from stone, boho style clothing, evening/prom gowns, jewelry, sweet treats, gourmet coffees & much more! Have a free cup of coffee while u shop! Staff r VERY nice. Worth the trip even if u arent from the area!

Upon entering the shop the first thing you notice is the amazing aroma from the coffee beans.....and they have the BEST coffee, hands down! Between all the beautiful jewelry, pottery, cutting boards, and delicious local food items....Toms is always my go-to shop for all my gift giving needs!!!!
If I had posted a review of Tom’s even two months ago, they would have received 5/5 stars from me. While I still love their products, an awful experience has completely changed my view and support of this establishment. I am a recent college graduate working as a full time, well paid, professional in town. I believe in the importance of supporting local business and chose to stay in this area post-graduation to give back to the community which supported and invested in me during my years as a student. Two friends and I were accused of stealing an item of jewelry from this shop, after having spent over $100. We were contacted by an employee over social media regarding the incident. I called the shop, confused and concerned, wanting to have a conversation. I was screamed at by the employee over the phone, received a lecture on my choice of friends, and was unable to get in a word edgewise. We offered to immediately come to the shop for an in-person conversation and were yelled at upon arriving at Tom’s. I called later to try and reach the store owner, a message was taken, and my call never returned. The shop owners cannot even say exactly what they believe to be missing. This was one of my favorite shop’s and now I will no longer be a customer at this establishment. This was not a professional way to handle this situation nor a way to establish loyal clientele. I am very disappointed by how this situation was handled and really sad to no longer be able to purchase the items I love or support this store.
This is a great little store with local artist, local businesses showing their stuff. So, with that said your not gonna find discounts and specials like you would find in major stores with mass produced products. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They have everything from coffees and teas to foods, cards condiments, sauces, dressings, jewelry and dresses for (proms and formals) etc.
I went to Toms for just the first time after hearing great things about it. The store itself and all it offers is amazing! Definitely recommend checking it out. My only complaint would be when I went to check out, I asked the woman if they were cash only and I got a snide, no, were part of this century remark. Besides that specific remark, my experience was very pleasant. Ill be back but hopefully wont see that woman!

The smell alone is worth the trip here. A coffee lovers paradise. Its not a huge store, but man do they have a lot of stuff. Lots of cool and quirky gifts for the ungiftable people in your life. Did I mention coffee too? Seriously, just stop in, you wont regret it.
Toms is an eye opener. They seem to have almost everything. Excellent selection of whole bean coffees, teas and spices. They have an excellent range of pottery from the Far East, and clothing also. They sell a range of chocolates as well. It is fun to just look at what is there. I could go on and on.
Its unique. A lot of locally made items and snacks. The main reason I go there is for their coffee selection. There is a good variety of quality beans to choose from and you can have them grind it for you too.

They also have a pretty extensive selection of coffee, chocolates and other sweets. The people that work here are really helpful if youre looking to get a gift for someone, Ive been here a couple times and theyve always hooked me up with something that the recipient loved that I would have never thought of on my own
I love the atmosphere. The fine and unique jewelry along with the handmade crafts and pottery, make for an individualized and genuine shopping experience. The snickerdoodle coffee is the best, and the staff is very personable and friendly. Toms will always be one of my favorite places ❤️

I go there for the coffee mostly, whole bean or ground however you want (coarse or fine or somewhere in the middle) they have a bunch of other cool stuff too, greeting cards, chocolates, dresses, jewelery, tea, snacks, probably a bunch of other stuff Im forgetting. Definitely a cool place to pick up something nice for yourself, or a gift for someone else.

I had the pleasure working with kate (Katie maybe) she took the time to help find the perfect dress for my daughters sweet 16 and even introduced me to Tom who then said he would fix up the dress and have it dry cleaned and gave us a nice discount. They were very nice and even my daughter was pleased with their positivity. I didnt feel like I was working with a salesman but someone who actually cared about our needs and wants. Thank you!!! Cute shop. But a little too cluttered for me. Was hard to focus. The layout needs work. I think I would lose the prom gowns and oriental trading type things in the back. Maybe just stick to the coffee, chocolates (Best vegan chocolate) and higher end things like the jewelry and pottery. Oh and the Moroccan type glass lights were cool too.

I stop at Toms for the coffee. They have an incredible selection of loose-bean coffee. You can buy by the half- and whole-pound; get it ground or leave it whole-bean. Mix different varieties together to create your own custom blend. I mix Brazilian Santos and Mexican Roma Altura to make my office blend.In addition to coffee they have a selection of unique food items, sauces and salsas, snacks and dips. jams and candies. They have many other unique gift items.
This store is amazing. Everything from candles, jewlery, coffee, loose leaf teas to crystals! I got the chance to chat with the owner and he travels and sees items that he later buys to sell in the store. A lot of cool hand made items!

Called Several places to sell gold.the assured me they pay the highest they want to take it and go in back room I wanted to watch my money they wouldnt let me go in back long story short went 3 places they were the lowest and the shadiest ..advice for you do it in front of people weight it in front and dont tell people you pay the most when you dont ....americas attic payed the highest....

Was very upset. Supposedly reputable gold purchases but instead very shady. Took my gold out back to weigh it. Used a unknowledgable middle person. Offered me 60% of 70% of the weight value. Refused to talk gram price (I wanted $17 for a gram of scrap 14k).Talked down, dishonest pawn shop lines (penny weight). Pawn shop of integrity, not the caliber of a jewler. AVOID.Middle lady said she offered me more then anyone because she knew me but then didnt know my name.Left a real bad taste in my mouth. If I was not in a rush to drive an hour home to get kids off bus would have sold them nothing. They paid 210 for what I should have received 325-375 if stuck in envolpe and sent out to online buyer.

They say they offer the best prices for gold, yet try to low ball me.... how the hell u try to buy 20.1grams of 10k gold talking about its light and u can only offer me 100 and something dollars.... FOH!!! these people are a scam and think everyone one is a dummy and desperate....

I love Toms. Great teas and coffees, wonderful pottery and opal jewelry. Unique clothing.I got hooked on the place when my oldest attended SUNY Binghamton and had to go to Toms every time I visited her. Since then Ive moved to Rochester, but everytime I know Ill be in Binghamton, I always leave extra time for shopping there.

2022-05-17Time has been in the neighborhood for many years. Workers need to be more respectful for dinner that arent wealthy or up too a part that shouldnt have judgement put on y them just because of hard times. Other then that, Tom cant serve everyone. The owner is a good man and he use known for good terms. Maybe a good cleaning by his employees would be suffice.

2022-03-27When I first entered Toms the smell of coffee was pleasantly aromatic. My eyes were surrounded by the many handmade and other sale items. I will certainly return again in the future.

2019-08-07So I was at a USPS looking for postcards, and the service person suggested Toms Coffee instead. I came there looking for a cafe but instead I found this wonderful little shop with cute little things from around the world.A non exhaustive list of things they sell: cards, ceramics, local condiments and sauces, dresses ($20 to $200+), handmade soaps and toiletries, coffee beans, jewellery, and figurines.I couldnt stop myself from buying some sweeties and some cards. Will definitely go back for the handmade toiletries. They have vegan, cruelty- free bath items that are super cute. Perfect as a gift or as a treat to yourself.The girls in the shop are kind and helpful. You can get a (free) cup of coffee while you shop at the store. Would definitely recommend visiting.

2022-04-01I think ....I got 25 dollar Imcrease. Just so shady. Tass holedidnt get a receipt and its the second time I feel like they are trying to scam me. Cashier takes everything in the back room and comes back with four of my coins.Hands me a silver eagle , says not real,hands me the and says not bad for 3coins . I said where is the silver eagle in the mint box? The cashier says oh yeah he whats that too. The mint boxes cost me money. I just had a loss in my family, two days ago. My head wasnt thinking straight. I had 2 silver eagles ,on mint box, Morgan dollar, one silver round half oz.,2silver Ike dollars. And one nice little leather pouch. Really!! The professional guy never saw. Wanted receipt,the box and leather pouch back.BAD Vibes. I will never say anything good about this dive. The other time try tried to rip me off was when I sold them a gold ring.i had them givee a price ,I said no . Came back when gold price went up. They offer me less. I told the 3td wheel the story, she went in back and came out with
