I have been working with Tone House Studios for over 4 years now. Warren, the brilliant producer/engineer/musician is one of the greatest people I have had the pleasure of working with. His level of music history/audio engineering knowledge is unmatched and his energy is infectious. He communicates clearly and can execute whatever you request of him at the highest level. He is truly a gem of a musician and it is a privilege to work with Warren. The owner, Mike, is always extremely accomodating when it comes to booking the studio and requesting specific gear. The amount of analog gear in the studio is equivalent to vintage gear heaven. Whatever you are looking for, I am sure Mike can get it for you at the best price. All around 10/10 experience always.

Tone House is a magical place. Ive had the opportunity to record a variety of projects over the past year at Tone House and have really found a home away from home in the studio.Mike is an all around awesome human and runs his business with warmth and professionalism...Ive felt anxious in a lot of other recording spaces, but have always felt at ease at Tone House - which has been hugely helpful creatively. Working with Mike is really a partnership - you can tell hes invested in both your art and in you as a person if you do decide to work together. Warren runs the studio and is a GEM (seriously, he is incredible) - I came in on day one with a series of complex projects and tight deadlines...Warren took time to understand my vision and goals, and helped craft a plan to get it all done on my timeline. He has the technical skill to build out an ultra-polished product for you in any genre, the organizational foresight to keep your project on track and always moving and the creativity to help with fresh vision if youre feeling stuck or get in a creative rut - Ive never had a studio session at Tone House that has felt unproductive.I would recommend this team to anyone in a heartbeat...I cant say enough positive things about them!

This studio is incredible.From the amount of equipment available, to the expertise of the staff, it was far and away, the best recording experience Ive ever had.Our record came out great, the sound is amazing and Mike and Warren were unbelievable with their attention to detail. They were willing to take their time and experiment to get the tones we wanted, and find the right sounds. They also had a guy available to setup our guitars, and everything is for sale!Cant recommend this place enough, call Mike for any recording or gear you need, you wont be disappointed.

Tonehouse studios is such a great studio and Mike is hands down the best studio owner on long island. He goes out of his way to make sure your session is going well. I am a freelance music producer and learning how to use someones gear can be tricky but mikes setup is simple and flawless. The studio has every piece of gear you can think and can pretty much accommodate you for every type of project you can think of. I highly recommend Townhouse studios if your looking for a good recording.

I talked with Mike the owner. The professional aspect is clearly present.They offered me the best possible price on music video recording studio and highest fidelity sounds. They also offered all the musical instruments you could think of which spares up time not having to pack size n or out anything except essential be guitars.Providing everything they can inside this studio are miracles to happen.

As someone who has recorded all over Long Island, and the 5 boroughs, the atone house is by far the best collection of gear I’ve ever seen. Additionally, some of the most honest owner/engineers in the industry. Owner, Mike continually collects the finest equipment and maintains an incredible atmosphere for his space, while head engineer Warren has not only talent but vision and will help take your vision to the next level.5 stars all around!

I had rented out the studio for a day to do a filming and recording project with a band and it was an experience I will never forget. The band had 5 songs to perform so we used the studio space to film the band as well as micing the drums and vox and have guitars run through DIs. The results of the recordings were terrific and the band was extremely pleased with how everything was sounding. On top of their stellar recording system, Tone House provides an awesome selection of amplifiers and guitars as well as synths, basses and drum kits; so any musician would feel like a kid walking into a toy store to try everything out when they go in the studio. I would like to thank the owner Mikey and his engineer Warren for making this project happen and all the help they have provided throughout the whole process. If any band is looking to work with this studio, definitely give these guys a ring and begin a collaboration with them.

I think the best way to illustrate how special this place is would be to present two facts:1. Half our band lives in LA where we have a studio with great gear and everything needed to make a record.2. We’ve racked up over 15,000 jetblue points this past year flying to NY for Tonehouse studio sessions.Tonehouse Studios has become our second home. We have worked in countless historic studios in NY and LA with platinum records lining the walls, only to find that their gear selection doesn’t match their reputation. Tonehouse is absolutely the most jaw dropping collection of equipment we’ve ever encountered.One would imagine it’d be very difficult to find motivation to leave 70 degree weather in a city filled with world class studios to fly to Long Island to work every month. It wasn’t at all. That’s how special this place is.The entire Tonehouse staff is A list, and it’s worth noting that Warren is the best engineer we’ve ever worked with.Tonehouse is preserving the idea that the studio is an instrument that should inspire, which is rare to find these days.

Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”I would like to thank Tone House Studios for a such wonderful experience recording my original song “The Things Inside of You”. It had been 20 years since I had been in a studio and it turned out to be a fantastic two days. I believe that a lot of this had to do with the way with the owner, Mike Arz, worked with me in order to ensure that my song was a success. He is a true gentleman and a fantastic person. In addition, he created a studio where the vibe was extremely comfortable and an ideal setting to make any song “radio ready”.The professionalism throughout the two days and the attention to detail was outstanding. A lot of this had to do with Warren Trunz who was my engineer and producer. He was superb, extremely diligent, creative, unbelievably talented and the perfect personality for my project. Basically a real ROCK STAR. The level of production was excellent and I was so proud of how my song turned out.In addition, Nick Micheline, Office Manager, was also terrific. He was extremely accommodating and documented my experience by taking great pictures.Mike and his outstanding team made a huge difference in in my experience and were undeniably top shelf! It was obvious to everyone that excellence is what they strive for and quality is the result!I am so glad that I chose Tone Sound Studios for my project. This is long but please read, yallMaybe they know how to run a studio. But they also sell gear and theyre completely terrible with customer service.Guys screwed me on a vintage cab. I waited too long on this review and I definitely waited too long to examine my purchase.I bought a vintage bandmaster cab stated as excellent condition. It was clear that it did not have original speakers. I knew that much. But I was reassured it was in mint condition in an early conversation. I later found it was badly damaged by a previous owner. The speakers dont even screw in and one of them was consequently compromised.I messaged them. I talked to Pat, he was immediately dismissive and stated I was only expressing a matter of opinion. And mentioned discountI was offended. I sent him pictures. Many many pictures. And he kept up with some good ole bull. Mike got involved. He was much friendly and made it seem like this would be resolved.I call em. Explain the issue, again. He gets Pat on the phone. Pat jumps in to lecture me about what actually were just opinions, his speculation as to why Fender in the sixties might have produced and sold such a messed up productHand drilled holes, overstock conversion for other products. Just nonsense. Fender? Ive never seen factory imperfections on any images or in person on any vintage pieces that made it this far. I speculate fender was advanced enough at that point to have templates in their factories. Then I ask about the new speakers. So Pat, just to confirm for me that he is full of it tells me, Sought after older UK made Celestion Vintage 30sI have the thing in front of me. With a made in China sticker on the magnet.He tries to explain himself out. Unable to Mike shoos him away and begins talking hooking me up with another order. Im very upset at that point. but I reluctantly agree to look.Oh hey, sweet speaker to replace my damaged one. 235 for a mint one. Its a good company, I didnt question the price. They have other models in that price range.Mike says he can do 175I didnt take the offerThey listed $240 for something that when Brand new, warranty included, is only 189.I gave this a break.Definitely the worst experience ever as a customer.
