Top of the Falls in other cities:
We had lunch there today and had delicious Buffalo Mac and cheese and specialty cocktails which was all fabulous. Beautiful view of the horseshoe falls from our table. Best of all, was the friendly and extremely efficient service our waitress Cheryl provided us. Would definitely recommend going there.
Fish and chips was excellent once I finally got. Very long wait for food. Took 8 minutes to get our coffee and soda. Girl came out with food and gave it to wrong table. Dont sit outside! Seating was a debacle. Too windy and seagulls literally land on tables and steal food. Waitstaff had horrible attitudes. Avoid this place! The only good thing was the view...
Rude service, Utterly disappointed.Today we went to this restaurant, the management asked the 6 of us to sit at a table of 5. Of course, we didnt quite fit in. We asked the server if we could shift the table, and he obliged. The other table was very dirty, and when we asked them to clean that up, they instead continuously interrogated and insulted us, asking with whose permission were shifting the table and saying that theyre so full. (They honestly lack communication among themselves.)When I told them that Im disappointed with their rudeness, the manager (his name is Robert) personally apologized and asked for a second chance. I fell for his words that these days nobody gives a second chance and/or a chance to explain themselves. He said that hed personally take care of our order. But unfortunately everything was either fake or this place really needs to upgrade its service. We were kept waiting at our table for 45 minutes for our food, which was really oily btw. There was no personal service, no extra apology, instead the manager just asked in the end if Im feeling okay after the food! Once he came to the table and asked from where we are, thats all! However, now the pros! I liked how the server improved her behavior towards us and actually was really nice towards us. This one star is for that waitress and the lovely view from the place. But, if possible, DO NOT go to the place. Hospitality is definitely NOT their best suite. (Probably I sensed a bit of racist micro-aggresive behavior there too!) Stay away if you prefer non-oily food!
They reopened just this month.Everything was perfect, the double burguer for me, the Mac and cheese for the kids and the chicken wrap for my wife. The best was Cheryl the waitress, she was attending all the tables with a lot of people, with a big smile, helping, explaining and being sure everything was perfect.Wonderful job! Thanks
Unfortunately our food was absolutely garbage. My burger was pretty much a hockey puck, and my wifes chicken caesar wrap had no chicken. We would have sent our food back, but it took an hour and half to get our food anyways. The waitress, who was mostly on her phone, tried to make it right by giving us a free drink.
The food was below average. Half the table got food 30 minutes before the other half of the table got their food. One of the waiters tried to convince us that the burger he gave us was a steak sandwich instead of accepting that he got the order wrong so another waitress had to bring us our meals. The food was not at all worth the price and the service was worse. You’re basically paying for the location.
Awesome time had by all. I definitely recommend getting the $3 trolley wristband. You can ride it all day until 7pm. I highly recommend riding the Maid of Mist. Just fun for all. Food was ok. They were just opening back. Fries and burger were cold. My chicken ceasar wrap was good. My fties were good once they repkaced my cold ones with hot ones.
Excellent service, food and atmosphere. Overlooking Horseshoe Falls not 100 yards away. The only thing I would have to say that would drop this down a notch is the portions are slightly smaller than what youd expect after seeing how much they charge. That being said, all was delicious and if were in the area again well be back again.
Beautiful view, make a reservation and try to get a window seat. Absolutely recommend the new york cheese platter. The mac and cheese was okay but the buffulo tenders in it were amazing. I would order just those next time.A little pricey but good food and good service.
Good haddock, but need to work on the burger and fries. Fries were not double fried so they were soggy, some well done and lightly brown, burger a bit under while menu states NY law requires burgers served medium well. Haddock needed salt, but otherwise was prepared correctly. Waitress was friendly and we were seated quickly. Good to see the exepeditor checking food with a gloved hand before it went out.
Fantastic atmosphere and powerful feeling standing on the too of the most beautiful waterfall in the America. Busy most of the time but all going well and neat. They really earn some money when connecting souvenirs and ice scream stores after every Exit door. Free pass for entrance at Main of the Maid Arm in the evening
Had an amazing experience at Top Of The Falls Restaurant. Just a couple of flight attendants having a quick layover in Buffalo and wanted to check out Niagra Falls. Went to get a quick drink and bite to eat. But the experience and the service was exceptional. Martha was our waitress and she went above and beyond for us all while herBubbly personality shining bright. She recommended food and drinks for us even had the bartender Alex show off his new drink he was creating called the French Fry lol. We were actually eating fries at the time while drinking so it seemed appropriate. Alex allowed us to try his new drink he created that was not on the menu as of yet. It was very delicious !! 10s across the board from us. If Alex and Martha are working, definitely ask for the French Fry drink! Lol its a tropical drink in case your wondering. Before we left the restaurant Martha helped us take group pictures from the outside balcony view with the falls in the back! Im telling you we had a wonderful time here. The experience was everything. Thank you so much Martha and Alex! Alex is the staff member in the pic! Wish we wouldve took a pic with Martha. Next time were around would definitely stop by and look for Martha and Alex. THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH FOR AN AWESOME TIME!
Service was great but the food....lets just say they have a lot to work on. My fish was bland and over cooked. The sweet corn it was over was the only high light. My girlfriend had Buffalo macaroni but that chicken... It was older then the falls. The view is amazing. If this place took its time to perfect its food it would have every table full.
It could be because I went to culinary and pastry school that made me dislike this restaurant. The views are great and amazing but the food does not match. The menu seems like it was done for kids who are picky. I thought this was going to be a top restaurant with a view. I was expecting fine dining or al la Carta menu. Not this generic food. The food was okay. Tastes like it came out of a bag and done. Diner food was better than this. I suggest you save your money and go elsewhere.
Nice experience at Top of the Falls restaurant.. Food was good.. Service was good..From here Niagara Falls just amazing.. (I can see Horseshoe falls from here.)From American side it was just amazing.. Little pricey but location was awesome.. Food was fresh and tasty.. I recommend fish and chips..
The location is great (especially as my kids were getting quite hungry and tired we we were nearby). The food was fine but nothing spectacular (we ordered the 3 star fish and chips as well as the 4+ star haddock, each was about $15). Service was pretty good, but it took a very long time to pay. There is indoor and outdoor seating available.
What a view. Watch the falls as you are served your meal. Eat inside or outside. Wait staff was pleasant, which was nice considering how many tourists go there. Elevator available if you dont like stairs. Hours change during the year with the park schedule. Best bet is get there 15 minutes before lunch. 22 ounce beer. Did I mention the view?Try it.
The food was ok, we had burgers and they were pretty average. The service was ok, our waiter dissapeared several times in the back while other waiters around us were present and more attentive. The view was wonderful, and that made it worth it to come here at least once!
The view was nice but when the sun is setting the sun is just in your face. Not a very good way to eat if you ask me. I thought it was kinda over priced for what we got but I understood because of the location. It just would have been nice to have some kind of tint on the window or sheer curtains to block some of the sun and heat. We ate inside. The food was ok. The fish and chips are huge and worth the price where I got a grilled chicken sandwich with what I would say was a quarter of a whole chicken breast. The wings were big and very good. They would have been better if our server didnt vanish and let them get cold. We could literally see our food sitting for a good 10 minuets before he reappeared and saw us looking at the food. The place was not busy at all and there were more than enough staff to bring us our food but they didnt. Would I recommend this place for people visiting, of course. its a great experience. Would I go back again? Probably not.
The views were great. The food was good, a bit over priced for what it was but to be expected considering the location. I didnt feel like it was outrageous by any means. Plenty of outdoor seating was available and more indoor seating. Both seating areas have an opportunity for great views of Horseshoe Falls from the tables. The food is available at a window when your number is called. They do bus the tables for you and check on you while you are eating.
The restaurant is fairly busy, and it did take me a while to get a table. When I sat down, I was able to easily order food and it came quickly through a mobile ordering system. The ordering system weirdly did not work on my phones browser until I selected the Desktop mode. Even then I couldnt use Google Pay as the payment processor. The pasta and cheesecake I ordered were fine, but not great. It was the view though that made the whole thing worthwhile.
Our family of 5 ate here safely! Im so grateful for this great place and the friendly, caring people who work there!! We have a lot of allergies and they were able to accommodate all our allergies easily! Also, Greg, at the bar, made me a delicious virgin Mojito! So much fun! A great way to end a beautiful day at Niagara Falls! ❤️
The view was the only redeeming quality of this restaurant. The drinks were gross and so was the food. The burger tasted like grease and ashes. The fries were ok. Someone explain to me how we can’t have plastic straws but plastic wrapped plastic silverware was ok? Way over priced. The service was cold. Would never eat here again
Manager was was very rude. We got there about 10 minutes before they opened and a waiter told us that they opened at 11:00 we said we understood and we were just waiting. Then the manager came up and said that we had to leave because we were to close to the restaurant. They were cleaning the restaurant should have been cleaned before 10 minutes opening. We had six in our party and left.
Still in restaurant as I type this, waited 1 hr 7 minutes for our food. And it was delivered to the table cold. I can eat the fish, its meh but the fries are cold and hard . I cant eat that. Worst 60$ spent this vacation. I will never eat here again. Dont let the amazing view sway your decision
Each drink was 4.99 with no refills. Meals were $13 for small portions of obvious store bought food. They had no physical menus and could only order by smartphone. Despite this they have a barely functional internet connection making ordering and paying a painful process. There was no service from staff except to bring the food and drinks out.
Meh... idk if its COVID or what but when you spend 50+ for lunch and its served on paper plates, it doesnt seem right. The other thing we werent fond of is that you have to order yourself using an app and pay upfront... seems a bit like a fast food restaurant rather than a higher end restaurant. Piece of advice, dont get the loaded fries. Theyre more like floating in some unknown sauce with raw bacon on top fries than loaded Needles to say, those went back 😫 but the Beef on Weck sammie was good. Hubby and I split it after my fries went back and it was sufficient for the 2 of us but bear in mind, wed just walked nearly 5 miles in 80 degree weather and werent overly hungry.
Not sure if it was due to COVID-19 restrictions but a restaurant requiring you to connect to their wifi in order to place your food order was odd. Also we never got checked on after we got our food and the drinks came last when we were almost finished eating. The only interaction with our hostess was to be seated and given our food.
We had a wonderful time in the Buffalo/ Niagara Area. A wonderful day! We decided to eat at this restaurant..we were starved and the view is gorgeous!!! But that was the ONLY good thing about this establishment! When we arrived, we waited in the hostess area for someone to seat us. (They have a ‘wait to seated’ sign). We waited for about 5 minutes while what I assume was an assistant manager or manager berating an employee right in front of us!! The manager looked right at my family and I then simply went back to yelling at the employee. The food was sub-par for the prices, our waiter told us if we needed his attention we need to flag him down, he didn’t check on us once, and we waited for our bill for about 20 minutes. The view is amazing!!! That is the ONLY positive thing I have to say about this place. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
The food is amazing. I had the Falls Classic burger and it was delicious. It wasnt too greasy or too dry on the inside. The flavor of the salad inside complements the patty and cheese. I would definitely recommend that burger. Another thing I would recommend is the terrapin salad. The salad itself was great, but the sauce was so good. It tasted like yogurt.
I guess you pay for the stunning views of the falls, because the only good thing about our order was the Oreo Cookie Cake, the Fish and Chips, and the kids Pasta. Plus, I believe based on the quality of our food, that it was way over priced! The simplest order... a salad was even horrible, the croutons, and the lettuce did not taste right, we had the same experience with the wings. The best thing about this restaurant was our server, very quick, and nice.
We came into the restaurant at the time of the reservation and they told us to wait. We ended up waiting 20 minutes just to sit down. Which was probably just a hiccup. Then the waiter which who was very nice that is probably the only reason why I am giving this 3 stars. But anyways we order our drinks and our food. A few minutes later we get our drinks everything is good and going well. But there service was extremely slow we ended up waiting an hour and 15 minutes for our food. But we ordered the (French dip) which was extremely and I mean EXTREMELY SALTY. And keep in mind this meal that took an hour and 15 minutes was 15 to 17 dollars. The food we got was poor quality and a outrageous price for what we got. I hope this place improves because it has a gorgeous view and there staff was very kind. I wish this restaurant good luck and I hope everyone else has a better experience then we did.
Well we were paying for the view, so we did not have any great expectations from the place. The menu is limited in choices and the food is a bit pricey for the place (about 25+/person). But then as I mentioned you are basically paying for the location. We ordered wine and burgers with fries. The food was good and service quick. There was not a lot of rush during lunch hours. So we could spend some leisurely time there sipping our wine. The servers were kind of nice. If you do decide to go there, the expectation should be to have decent food by the falls view. Be sure to sit on the outside patio because I really doubt if the place would be any good from inside.
Service was insanely slow. Chimichurri for the burger ended up just being a puddle of oil on my plate. Fries were very clearly frozen and the NY cheesecake was missing ingredients as well as definitely not being made in house. Only redeeming quality about this place was the sights to see and the beer quality. Oh, and the post-dinner hot coffee was barely over room temperature. This place is a gimmick at best.
This was the biggest waste of 50 dollars. My girlfriend and I managed to get in while they were open, and the menu was totally different than the one posted online, okay, ill find something to eat. I ended up with their special of the day, a steak and cheddar sandwich. The cheese sauce was grainy, the bread was stale, so I mostly picked the meat off of the bread and ate that. My girlfriend got a chicken caesar wrap and she said it was very bland. Pretty much the only thing good about this place were the views of the falls and the french fries, and it burned me up a little knowing I just paid 50 dollars for a meal for two and the only enjoyable thing was french fries. 0/10 would not recommend anyone visit this place.
My sister and I were so excited to eat here. View was nice but food was HORRIBLE. My sister got the buffalo chicken Mac and cheese- half the macaroni was dry, the cheese sauce was literally just cheesy water, and the buffalo chicken aspect was just them throwing 3 wings on top. I got the gorge bowl- nowhere on the menu did it specify the food is cooked in cumin/curry which would have been nice to include considering it’s a strong spice that not everyone likes (including myself). I paid $4.50 for chicken on top and the chicken had a pink tint and smelled/tasted off. Needless to say we left the restaurant still hungry for dinner after spending $40+ on 2 meals. When I called earlier to see if we needed reservations the woman said they typically aren’t busy at dinner time and now it makes perfect sense... Highly do not recommend.
Service from our waitress was good, restaurant/floor manager was not as good, food was very 50/50. We started with a pretzel to split, and it honestly seemed like the kind you could get frozen at the grocery store, it was sub par and barely warm. The cheese and mustard that came with it were okay. I had the bridal burger, and it was absolutely delicious. I got the jalepeno relish on the side and it was too hot for me to eat much of but it was very good. My husband got the fish and chips, and he really disliked it. He said it was just a little too overcooked to be enjoyable. He talked to the restaurant/floor manager to see about a discount on his dish, and the restaurant/floor manager just interrupted him every time he tried to say anything, and put in a new order of fish and chips for him. At that point he had eaten maybe a quarter of his overcooked fish and didnt really want more, so unfortunately we ended up throwing out the whole new order. We wouldve rather paid less for his first dish than waste a plate of food. Though my husband did say the second plate came out much better. Also, his coleslaw that came with the fish and chips was just dry shredded cabbage and carrots.
Reasonably priced family restaurant with incredible view. This photo was from our table. Good service, wait staff was very professional and accommodating. I would recommend over fast food any day. It cost about $45 for lunch for 2 adults and a child, including the tip.
One member of our 7 person group ( 3 of which were children) ordered the mac and cheese, the noodles were undercooked, the waitress was very miserable, being such a small menu and the amazing location, the food should be incredible. It was a D- at best. The coleslaw was the worst all of us ever had. The fish and chips were mediocre, but the frying oil clearly hasnt been changed, on top of this, one of our appetizers came out after our meals, not much of an appetizer. I will never go, never reccomend, and I will always tell people to find an alternative location to eat. Especially for the price.
I think it all depends on when you go. Im sure that they are swamped and overcrowded at meal times, but we went right in the middle of the afternoon and it was evenly but sparsely populated, just right for a very nice dinner. Yeah, the food wasnt 5 star restaurant quality, but we got fish and it was quite good. You arent paying for the great food, youre paying for the view. And wow, what a view it was. Absolutely makes up for the food rating, which was still, all things considered, pretty darn good.
We shared the fish and chips and a side salad. Beer was a good and the fish was very good! The fries were bland but with a little salt and ketchup didn’t taste too bad. Make sure to take your I.D. If you want to drink because someone at the age of 62 was declined a drink because they did not have it.
Came here on a whim after visiting Terrapin Point, it was definitely worth going, and I probably would go again. The taste of the food was great, I highly recommend the Beef on Weck, and the fries, they were amazing! Our server wasnt the greatest and the price is higher than what you would typically pay for this type of food, hence the four stars. The view is great and is worth going at least once if you are hungry on Goat Island.
Our experience in this restaurant was wonderful, of course much of that is because of its location of course. We had dinner here right before sunset. We sat outside, the view of the falls was amazing. The service was excellent, our waiter was super friendly he made excellent recommendations for desserts and we got our orders quickly even though he was the only waiter serving at least four tables. The food was not the best, but it was still very good and the menu offered a variety of options. Would definitely go back and recommend to others.
The haddock was fresh and absolutely delicious. Buffalo wings were very good as well. When traveling, my sister and I like to sample the local fare so we appreciated the fact that all the local ingredients were in bold face. We had a great, albeit windy view of the falls from the outside terrace which added to the experience. To top it off our server, Bridget, could not have been more pleasant and helpful. Definitely recommend it and ask for Bridget.
I had a burger and fries. The burger was okay, the fries were pretty hard and dry. But you know what? Thats okay, because the view is amazing and the staff is very friendly and the service is great. Youre not really going here for gourmet food, youre going for the gourmet atmosphere. So just go and enjoy yourself and know that the food probably wont make you sick.
Good restaurant with outstanding views of Horseshoe falls. Restaurant features items from local NY producers. Ordered cheese sampler with fruits and it was delicisious. Haddock was very well done with sides. Nice desert menu with milkshakes and local beer and wine selection.Overall good prices along with tasty food and superb view makes this place a must.
Horrible service with an amazing view. We saw our waiter 3 times at our table. The first time was 25 minutes after we were seated to take our orders. The second time was to drop off the check and the last time was returning our card. The person who brought our food out was not our waiter and our glasses sat empty at the table for our entire meal. Our waiter never asked us how we were doing, how the food was, or if we wanted another drink. We also were never asked if we would like a high chair for my 11 Month old daughter. The service was the worst we have encountered. The menu selection was limited with high prices that were not worth it. The only good thing about this restaurant was the view. If they didnt have the view I would have rated lower.
The location of the restaurant is awesome however the buffet breakfast was mediocre. There were no bagels or different types of breads avaialbe (only white and whole wheat). It was not a 4 star rating hotel breakfast.Overall the location was very nice. But the food could have been better.
Service was excellent. But the food was awful. Beef on Weck was dry, sauce was tasteless brown water. Salad was missing everything but the greens.Wings were good. As was the bread basketDrink was rumless. It was a rum/mango supposedly. Bottle of beer, no glass offered. But it was cold.Didnt stick around for dessert after the meal.Restaurant has potential, but...Probably why there were empty tables at 7pm on a Saturday night with hundreds of people in the park.
Disappointed by our experience here. Only positive was the view. Very limited menu selection and way overpriced. Food came out cold. They were out of two kinds of beer on the limited beer menu and boneless wings seemed like they were cooked and reheated. Very dry chicken, hard breading, difficult to eat. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Everyone was friendly and helpful. The food came out fast and was great. I had the fish and chips and the fruit and cheese appetizer. Disappointed in the bar service. I ordered one of their signature drinks, the Nikola Tesla, and it took forever to come out and then it was awful. Took two sips and sent it back. Switched to their version of a hurricane. Again it took forever to come out and it was just ok.
Good was excellent service was great. My son has severe allergies to milk and eggs he tried something new and he didnt care for it so he ordered something else. I had parts cord to perfection. Wait staff was attentive and helpful. Next year when I am there I will be going back and will recommend it to everyone I know that if headed to Niagara falls
Service was horrible! After sitting there for 15 minutes had to go to hostess stand and ask for our server (Gabriel) to come when he arrived he babbled about seeing us being sat and couldnt get to us mumble mummble... asked for some crayons so the kids could play on the kids place mats they got (word search, maze, etc) and after about 20 minutes he brought 2 broken colored pencils (unusable) and a highlighter.... food came out wrong and an entire order missing... server and (who I guess was the) kitchen manager argued at our table with what came with a kids meal... chicken caesar wrap was soggy (like it was premade)... waited another 15 minutes after we were all done eating and had to go to the hostess stand again and ask for the server to get our check, spoke with the manager, explained the disappointing experience and he only comped the kids burger... the view is nice, but the service and food quality make the price simply not worth it. Go somewhere else, not worth it....
We went there looking forward to the food and the romantic experience and were sadly disappointed. The staff was rude and they shouted over the customers to each other constantly. It was annoying and very rude. The food was pretty bland. My boyfriend got the chicken sandwich and it was so incredibly dry that he couldnt eat it. I got the beef on weck and it was alright but definitely not worth the price. The fruit and cheese platter was divine. That was the only part of the restaurant that we both enjoyed. I will not be going back to this restaurant again for all these reasons.
Though there was no crowd when we went, the service was very bad. For the kids menu they didnt give us other foods that was mentioned after I had asked them also it took such a long time to them to bring. We had to call the waiter many time even for the check. Service can be better but we can have a good view to the falls from the restaurant .
Upon arrival we were told the wait was 20 min which we sat at the bar until our seating was available. I ordered a pina colada and was told they were out of the pina colada mix. As i was figuring out my next drink to order the couple beside me said i just ordered a pina colada as he was sipping on it! At this point my husband brought it the bartenders attention. Low and behold he found the colada mix and made my drink. That was strike one! Next we were seated at our table and ordered a fish fry and beef on weck. The fish was really good but the beef on weck was lousy! Arbys has more beef on their sandwiches then this beef on weck! For $15+ it was not worth it. Your paying for the view. I expected Master Chef food plating for those prices! Ridiculous. Never again...👎👎👎👎👎
Restaurant was slow, tons of servers about. Our server went on break and told us someone else would be covering us for her but that never happened. Food for okay but not great. Finally flagged down another server to order a desert and he ended up just going to get our original server. Finally got the desert and it was not right at all. For a custard it was very thin pudding with very little crust. Disappointing for a $50 (before tip) lunch.
The food is disgusting. It is overpriced the only thing good about this restaurant is the view. Got $18 buffalo Mac and cheese with watery sauce that and noodles that were dry. The chicken aspect was 5 over-sauced wings over the Mac and cheese. The view of the falls is not worth the price at all. Don’t go here!
The fruit and cheese platter and fish and chips were highly recommended and didnt disappoint. The coconut shrimp was a delicious special. I took a photo, but Im not sure how to post on a mobile review...The staff were so courteous, especially considering we arrived with a preschooler and infant in tow half an hour before closing on a Tuesday, yet they insisted there was no reason for us to rush and every one on them wished us a good night with a genuine smile on our way out. Id eat there again.
We took out of town guests here, and were dissapointed. Service was at a snails pace. The Beef on Weck, which should be a signature item, was terrible. The beef was thickly sliced and served with tasteless horseradish. The other food items were overpriced considering the quality of the food. Come here, have drink at the bar and enjoy the view. But go elsewhere for your meal.
I have never had such horrible service. It took only a few minutes to be seated but almost 40 minutes for a waitress to even stop by to say hello. Their excuse was their card machine is down. That is no excuse for poor service and it taking An hour and a half to get our food. I have no idea where our waitress was but everyone else had to wait her tables in the end. Our burgers were burned the fries were hard and the food was barely warm. Of course they sat on the counter for 20 minutes until someone brought our food after I made a complaint. I complained to the hostess twice and the manager once who tried to shut me up by taking me outside. DO NOTHING eat here. Its not worth what they are charging. The service is awful. If I could leave no stars I would. What an awful experience.
We had made reservations two weeks earlier for our vacation and my birthday dinner here. They lost the directions but it wasnt busy at all on a Wednesday at 5:30 pm, so we had our choice of seats. The first table had a ton of bird poop on the window, so we switched seats - the view is amazing!! I wasnt expecting much on the food due to past reviews but it was pretty good. Cheese and fruit platter was wonderful, and we all enjoyed our meals - parmesan crusted haddock, spicy ragout and rigatoni sorrentino. It was a bit hot even with the a/c on and the sun was in our eyes - no see thru shades to help. The waiter was very slow - food came pretty quickly but then he disappeared. The entire wait staff seems to be very young and inexperienced. But the view was worth all the shortcomings - you definitely go for that!
My friends and I enjoyed and most delicious dinners. We had the battered fish, beef on weck, pasta buffalo chicken. We were all so thrilled on each dish. The service was excellant also. We told the waitress that, most definately, we will be back. Top of the falls restaurant will be our to go to place for dinner, when traveling in the area. 5 Stars. Totally on point. Congrats to the Chefs, well done. Loved it.
Awful experience from start to finish. Half of my lunch group got their food in 15 minutes, the other half in 45 and the reason given for that delay was they accidentally put vinaigrette on the salad so a new one had to be made. The wait staff does not care, management is even worse. If you try to talk to anyone about what might be going on they either say I dont know or just dont bother to answer. Please do not waste your time here!
This has to be the absolute worst experience we had at Niagara Falls. The reviews were not that great to begin with; but we decided to try it out anyway.First bad experience was the waitress refused to serve my wife an alcoholic drink because she didn’t have proper ID.We have 4 grandkids! My wife had the quinoa bowl and said it was very bland! It was full of raw bean sprouts that were inedible. (I didn’t think you were meant to eat raw bean sprouts?)I had the Buffalo Mac & Cheese and the “cheese” sauce was like water. There were only 4 small chicken pieces in the bowl!We should have jst left when she refused to serve my wife a drink.Absolutely give this place a miss!
I came to this restaurant with my family during our vacation and had an excellent experience. Our waiter and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good and had some interesting options. The establishment itself is beautiful and has an amazing few of the falls and the buildings behind it.
Terrible...we visited the restaurant on July 12, 2015.....we were charged twice on our credit card for the lunch we purchased. We notified the restaurant when we received our statement, which was 2 weeks after the visit. It is now September 8, 2015, and they still have not rectified the situation and have not refunded us the overcharge....shame on the NYS Park...stop blaming the 3rd party vendor and take care of your customers!!!
We were told wed have a 20-25 minute wait for a table. We waited twice that. We then waited 10 minutes to be waited on before we left. We had more to see at Niagara Falls than this restaurant. While we waited for a waiter or waitress, I watched 8 meals sitting on the warming shelf that entire time. Very disappointed.
Terrible service, terrible food. I only have this restaurant 1 star because I had to in order to write this review, if I could, I would leave no stars. I wish I could erase the stain this experience left on my vacation. Flies were everywhere, manager does not care about customer service or food service standards whatsoever. Do not go here, you will be very disappointed as the restaurant leaves MUCH to be desired.
Ive been to Niagara Falls twice, once 18 years ago on the Canadian side and once 3 days ago on the American side. Its amazing either way. Although it had become quite commercialized (casinos, hotels, souvenir shops), it doesnt take away from the power of the water. We had a great time. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was because, despite Maid of the Most opening for the season that day, some other places were closed. Top of the Falls restaurant, where you can dine & look out over Horseshoe Falls, was closed.
First off -i Rated 5 for SERVICE!. We are the wedding party on AUG 8th. I would like to first state that the food was awesome. The view was awesome. But the truth is Service take priority! The STAFF was OUTSTANDING!!!! That evening staff was so great! We are a family w/ 3 small children. Greg-was one of the service staff members who made our time enjoyable by actually helping w/ our kids plating and even cut up my sons food for him(letting mom and dad tend to the other 2 3yrsolds). Not only did Greg provide needed help he also was light enough to DANCE and SING when the music came on. VERY special thanks to the bartenders/servers ANGIE,DAWN, and Cheryle! And the Manager(s) for giving the staff the option to have fun! GOOD FOOD -BETTER SERVICE.....will never forget that night! Very special THANK YOU!!!If i were Management i would be Very proud and do something extra for your staff...*hint-hint* ..thanks!
My wife and two children ate there May 2, 2015.I ordered this hamburger with cheddar:CLASSICChoice of Cheese: American, Cheddar, Swiss, orPepper Jack, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion,NY Kaiser Roll (Kcal. 750) $13.25Perhaps Im naive, but when I see a hamburger priced over ten dollars (US), I envision something hot, juicy and beef flavored. I got a tepid 1/4 lb (?) pre-formed patty under a translucent slice of cheese with the lettuce, tomato and onion portions so small as to fit within the circumference of the bun.My wife reported the Beef on Weck as tasty but very salty. This from someone who nibbles the salt off a soft pretzel before eating it.The crusted haddock was a large enough portion that I got to finish a fair bit of it, and it was rather good.I suggest asking for descriptions and/or recommendations from the wait staff.

2022-06-20Wonderful dining experience with a beautiful view of the fall. I was eating my birthday lunch here today and could not ask for more. We had to wait a little to get that window table but the wait was worth. Yummy food. Specially the chicken cilantro bowl. They made it without chicken(bowl) for my husband who is vegetarian. Mac & cheese with buffalo wings was delicious too. Our server was nice and polite I loved how every time she kept saying me “bday girl”. It is a busy place usually so be prepared to wait, but the food and the experience will be worth waiting.

2022-06-10Cant say enough good things about this restaurant. Every seat has a view of Horseshoe Falls. The wait staff were delightful. The food was delicious. Perhaps, if I must suggest something, I would recommend some shades in the windows. The sun coming in was hot. I know they dont want to obstruct the view, but Im sure there is a way. Totally recommend.

2022-07-04The food was really good and the location is amazing, but what really stood out was the service. Cheryl was the best part of our meal, she was so nice, friendly and attentive with us! Would definitely go back

2022-05-30Hellooo!!! I have heard plenty of times that hospitality is bad in miami. Well, I live in miami, I dine out a lot, and I can say that service was bad her at top of the falls. Our server wasnt friendly, in a rush, like we were in the way. Tourist trap??? Possibly!!Menu is very limited, overpriced, not worthy!!I will not see yall in my next trip!!

2022-06-21Very expensive for subpar food that tastes and resembles heated frozen food from a grocery store. All of our items were missing several sauces or toppings that come with the dish. Server did not apologize or provide any reason for any of the errors. Beef on weck sandwich was very dry and barely had any beef. The soda was good, but the hot chocolate and tea were just simple generic mixes from a store that they have you prepare yourself. The buffalo mac and cheese does not have much sauce in it. Also, the chicken and pasta noodles themselves were both undercooked.Things to keep in mind if you eat here:There is no milk/Creamer for the hot drinks.Bring your own straw. They do not have eco friendly straws available.I recommend going to the snack and ice cream shop next to the Cave of the Winds entrance instead of Top of the Falls. They have delicious sandwiches, chicken, ice cream, and more. You can also get the same great view by bringing food over to the picnic tables under the restaurant.

2021-10-18The Fish Chips plate is their favorite. The fish chip was super tasty and crispy and the fries are perfectly crispy. The fish chip was huge and fish (haddock) quality was so fresh, thick and savory. Hotels dont serve such a big chunk of fish.In the attached image, you can estimate the size of the fish chip compared to the piece of lemon beside. The venue is extraordinary because of the Niagara Falls view. Compared to the ambience, the price of the food is relatively cheaper.

2021-08-10Great place to go for any occasion!! Very nice place overall, the food quality was great and the prices were average. Staff were friendly + nice. The ordering system worked well, we got our food fast, and it was hot, fresh, and tasty!! When the food did come though, one of the dishes wasn’t delivered. We informed the waiter and he apologized for the inconvenience + brought it right out. We got a table next to the windows as requested, and the view was sooo beautiful!! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the falls!!

2022-06-24Our hostess Kara was very nice. We decided to wait for a table with the view. Our waitress was Jess. Our food came out pretty much immediately. The food itself was average but the service was very good and the view was fantastic. The food is a bit expensive for what it is but in comparison to pretty much every other tourist spot Ive ever been to its much better quality.

2022-06-22Had a fabulous lunch at Top of the Falls today! We sat at the bar as the tables were busy and we didnt want to wait. We cooled off with an ice cold beer served by two fabulous bartenders, Sabrina and Lexi. We both had the Cilantro chicken bowl. We got it fast! Filling and delicious. Highly recommend it!

2022-05-22Waited about an hour for the food, randomly brought us a cup of lemons, and when they did come the sandwich was cold. The food looked good and the appetizer of fries was pretty good, but it was all pretty basic bar type food. not worth the price. Only reason I am not giving 1 star is that the manager was super apologetic and we kept the souvenir cup that the lemons came in.
