Tops Friendly Market is my favorite Market to shop at. I love the quality of Tops Brand products. I have yet to meet an unfriendly person shopper or employee
I was disappointed after shopping and going through checkout. I worked in hospital microbiology lab for more than 43 years and I notice things that many people do not notice.The cashier seemed visibly upset when I asked her to please clean the counter before I placed my groceries on it. There had been a customer there ahead of me and there was water or something left from his groceries.I also suggested that there was no need for the saran wrap on the debit/credit card machine. It serves no purpose if it isnt cleaned or changed between customers.The cashier had an open wound on her right forearm. Her wound was uncovered.The hygiene endeavors at this store needs to be
This grocery store is kind of average. I was unimpressed with the freshness of the produce. I bought 4 containers of blackberries and every one had at least 2 moldy berries. The same was true of other produce. The overall selection in the store is tolerable for its size. The selection of beers is pretty good.
Deli counter is a nightmare, employees quite slow and it would appear they dont like working there. Prices are quite high but they do have a few good cashiers and front end employees. They tend not to carry a few things I like and when an employee suggested filling out a request to get the items it just fell on deaf ears, no one contacted me or ever got in any of the items requested. If every other grocery store is closed then they would be ok but other than that just head to watertown, its worth the drive.
This Tops is great, they always have a decent selection of good local produce and good sales Although the store isnt very big and you typically cant get speciality items there, theyve got all your basics!
The cashier was very nice. The manager or night supervisor, not sure what her title is was not helpful at all. I did not get the Turkey breast, I made a special as l trip to get.

Local store vibe. Great selection of local foods and beverages. I didnt give a 5 star due to lack of attentiveness from staff when I had a question. However, it was an overall good experience.

Go to Aldis. If you cant then your beat.This place is overpriced groceries and the produce is not as fresh as it should be. They do make a decent hoagie though thats why i gave them 2 stars not one.
Personally? I think Tops is overpriced and their produce goes bad faster than when purchased at any other store. Their bulk food section is a good idea in theory- but doesnt sell fast enough to keep it fresh. Gummy Bears are NOT supposed to be hard as a rock. Tops milk goes sour before the sell by date. The prices at the Pulaski location on most things are ridiculously high as the only local competition is Aldis. I only shop here when overpaying for their groceries is cheaper than making a trip somewhere else.
Its frustrating when the store is out of a sale item on the. Day the sale starts, also, this store has the gas points but you have to drive over 30 minutes out of my way to use them. So not fair.
I shop at Tops for everything...some of the prices are higher but their sales & buy 1 get 1 make up for it. My only problem is that they never have enough cashiers. I work 9 hours a day and when I stop on my way home the last thing I want to do is is wait in line for 20 minutes.

I dont know how Tops is still in business I bought pork chops in the 5 for $19.99 deal on Sunday and cooked them on Monday. If they hadnt been cooked they would have spoiled.

Frequently out of stock on items I want. The aisles also make me feel claustrophobic, as only one person can comfortably occupy the space.
Its a small store but they have a decent selection at good prices. The staff all seemed nice and friendly and the store was clean.

Has everything you might want or need. Seems to be more expensive than some other name brand stores, but its closer than those stores too. Keep an open eye for their specials.
I enjoy going to tops knowing its so close to home and its a convenient however its very pricy then most of the other grocery stores. I wish the prices would be more reasonable.
Love Tops Markets. I shop in Adams and in Watertown on Washington Street. What I really dislike is the ads from the newspaper. Take a tip from Hannaford and dont use the goofy half sheets and fold overs. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. They make me ballistic. I read the first page and then throw it away so I dont have to deal with the fold outs and falling apart.

Limited variety for most of their products. Prices are above average but weekly sales are always good. Meat special is a good bargain.
Overpriced but, because its the only grocery store without traveling a 1/2 hour you pay for the convenience.

Cashiers are rude, poor customer service, overpriced items, no self checkouts or express lanes, 30 min wait in lines, bottom line is some Tops stores should close their doors along with kmart, especially this one.
This place usually isnt to crowded. If you shop the sales, you can usually get great deals. Non sale prices are higher though.

2021-10-21Store has pros and cons. In its favor are friendly staff, good selection and some things you cant find elsewhere. Always clean, nothing left out to trip on. Down side are the prices. Sale prices are equal and sometimes higher to every day prices at other store in town. If this was only store in town Id be in financial trouble

2021-05-25One of the worst grocery stores I have ever been in as far as service. Ordered from deli to avoid the wait..went to store..was told I had to wait 1/2 hour for deli person to return from break! Finally I found one person to get my order. Not a good place to shop! Employees didnt seem to want help..sad. Tops is not a friendly market at all. I will avoid Tops terrible market!

2018-07-24I am not impressed with this grocery store other than it being the only grocery store its employees are miserable and almost always make me feel like Im bothering them when I have needed help. In my experience the cashiers have more knowledge of the store than management I spend at least half an hour anytime Ive been to the store no matter what I go for its never in and out. Management is rude to to both there coworkers and me and who ever is joining me. I think they should have better customer service skills being in a job like that
