Handicap accessible with electric scooter carts available inside. Cart wipes & sanitizer available at entrance. I especially like Tops larger choices of freezer selections & excellent meat dept, but only shop sale items bcz Tops is very expensive. No Tops gas station at this location.
The Meats and bakery are terrific. Deli selections too. They seem to run out of my critical household items by Friday and Saturday. But overall, the store is clean, organized, and well lit. Wheelchair accessible.
This store is the worst tops in my area! Ive had numerous occasions of going in this store, you would think I would learn my lesson by now. The 1st time to get a sub for dinner they told me thered be a 20 minute wait! What? How is it that Wegmans can make subs right away but I have to wait 20 minutes for you to make a sub for me? The 2nd time I called to ordered a breakfast pizza. They told me 30 minutes. I got to the store 25 minutes later. The people behind the counter were chatting following each other around, talking, laughing. They finally noticed me I told them that I had ordered a pizza. Oh that will be about 20 minutes they Said! I said I called you told me 30 minutes its been 25 and you havent even started my pizza? And their excuse they gave me was that the dough was frozen! I told them to forget it just like I did the sub and walked out of the store. Called Crosbys I was able to get my breakfast pizza 15 minutes whats wrong with this picture? Now today I go in there bought over $80 worth of groceries, the cashier scanned my bonus card just like normal. When he got done with my order hes like, oh I forgot the scan your coupons after hes already totaled out and ended the transaction. Now he tells me I have to go to the service desk because of his error, why cant this be fixed at the register? So on the way up to the service desk that I didnt wanna go to, I notice that the bonus points never came off of my transaction! Shocking I know! As a proceeded to tell the girl at the service desk that it didnt look like my bonus points came off the total. She so rude!! She said well you have to scan your bonus card! Very rudely I might add! Like Im supposed to know their procedures!! I said he did scan my bonus card! She said well I didnt come off She proceeded to be very rude and short with me. She did fact give me the money for my bonus card savings and for the coupons that didnt get scanned. The point is it should have never happened #one and #2 it should have been dealt with in a professional manner. These people need customer service skills! Did I mention I hate this store! I was just reading through some of the other reviews, finding some of the same complaints that I am making. What I also notice is there is no response from management or any of these complaints! So whats the point in doing a review if nobody is going to follow up on the issues of the store!? Your slogan tops never stops Id like to revise that slogan .... tops never stops to help their customers.
Deli has no food one choice of sub, chicken finger on and extra hard dry roll. How can you have three hot sub choices and only make one and its not hot.
The cashier was rude. He put cans items in our freezer bag and frozen items in a regular reusable bags. He gave us attitude when we were correct his mistake but, theyre was no one else in his line. I believe his name was Daniel.
Out of alot of choice meats, different style chips, no availability., only one check out!! Items with coupons out of stock. Needs update.
I enjoy Tops but their self checkouts are annoying. They do a great job keeping shelves well stocked and faced off.
The entry way smells horrible of sewage. I cant say the smell kept me focused on whats for supper. This is not the only location. There is something wrong with either the ventilation or the sewer lines filling up with sewage. This is a grocery store. There isnt enough water running to flush the lines. Maybe the fire dept can come in with high pressure hoses and flush the lines. Hope somebody reads and acts respectfully.
Always clean, always well-stocked, and always friendly. The weekly sales can give you some great deals, like the buy2get3free specials they often run. One thing that always sticks out about this place to me is the manager. I always see him around the store, out of the office and doing work to make sure everything is as good as it possibly can be, and I truly respect that level if dedication.
Many sale items rang up full price. Digital coupons would not come off at register. Told to go to service desk. Waited 15 minutes. When to the register to ask to talk to a manager was told they most likely not come up. Someone in front who had been taken care of but was given a hard time went to manage and manager was coming up. I left with out getting my digital coupons off as there were still 3 ppl in line ahead of me. This is totally unexceptionable! I will have to return to the store again tomorrow to get the bonus card saving that were advertised and get digital coupons! What a waste of time. I will think twice before shopping at this store again and will post on Facebook what a rip off if I do not get the sales price! 😤😤😤😡😡😡

Monday December 7th, 2020I ordered two dozen chicken wings. One mild one garlic parmesan. These wings were the most disgusting under cooked nastiest smallest wings Ive ever seen in my life! The garlic parmesan looked like someone puked on the wings, and they smelled gross. Just wasted $20 for nothing, threw them right in the garbage where they belong. I will never buy chicken wings from Tops here in Albion again. Lesson learned.
Typical grocery store...they do have some items/brands not found in other stores in this general area. They have a deli, fried chicken, pizza and couple of hot soups available. Employees are pleasant and friendly. They will special order items if needed.
Had young female employ stand in in front of me in middle of lane way, had to walk around. I said excuse me and was not payed attention too. Rude young lady was listening to upper management. In front of orange juice. Everyone else was pleasurable..
I work here and its the best grocery store for miles. Our selection even at this small location tops Wegmans and Aldi in Brockport. Im proud to work here and belong to the Union.
No self check out in this location. So if you only have a couple of things you could be in for a wait. Sometimes only 1 or 2 registers open. Other than that its a good store. Lots of sale items. TOPS never stops.

I love shopping at Tops because its close to where I work, and the cashiers are very friendly. Im a southern girl, so smiling when I come through your line, makes me feel welcomed.
The big sign outside says Fresh Food. I beg to differ. I literally had to pull stuff off there spread and tell them its covered in mold. Its not just one item. Mushrooms, cheese, vegetables... and my dog wouldnt even eat some of the meat. They need to take care of their food better before I ever set foot back in there. O yeah the ham in the anti pasta was bad. Good luck
We bought shrimp today for New Years, as soon as we opened the bag we realized it smelled like dead fish, will return tomorrow.

Tops is overpriced on everything and has a tendency to do a bait and switch. That theyre the only ones who carries the orange soda I like so I have to shop there occasionally
Tops sucks. Other than sales and you really have to be careful of the sale, their prices are absolutely outrageous compared to Walmart or Wegmans. To do General shopping at tops you either have to be stupid or dont care about your money.
Pretty disappointed that a meat tray could not be made while I waited. The store lost over $40.00 for that sale. The deli was not busy at the time.

I mostly go to tops because i usually will see the older cart return/greeter gentleman, i know that sounds funny but he really is very nice, hard working, helpful and funny.

I dont have anything to say about tops but this Cortney Ives who reviewed this store is grossly misinformed. apparently shes on this GMO IS BAD! bandwagon which is completely fine (you want to eat all natural who am i to stop you) but the problem here is that she believes corn comes in a non-GMO variety.Corn, the crop we harvest today, is not natural. at no point in history has anyone ever been able to come across a naturally growing stalk of corn. the whole corn species is a result of humans genetically modifying the maze plant in order to produce the innumerable varieties of corn we have today.so my point is, if youre earing non-GMO, you cant eat corn.. period. if the produce guy you talked to, Cortney Ives, was truely helpful, he would have informed you of that.

2022-03-15Nikki at the carryout cafe took my order for a sub over the phone. She was so friendly that it felt like we had known each other for years. She welcomed me when I came to pick up the tray and the subs were delicious with super fresh rolls and the meats piled high. I would highly recommend ordering their sub tray for any occasion.

2022-04-09Ordered 3 fish fry no coleslaw had to choose macaroni or potatoe salad. Fish and fries hard no potatoes salad they were all macaroni and tasted awful. I will not buy from tops again

2021-11-05Really clean store! Excellent selection! I have always been able to find basically anything I’m looking for, even obscure ingredients. So glad to have this store in Albion because it means not having to leave town or county to find certain things. Produce section is so fresh, too!

2021-09-24Great produce, vast selection of products and a friendly staff. I enjoy being able to buy locally grown fruits and veggies there while in season. Best deals on soda in the area as well. Check cashing, Coinstar and lottery on location too.

2021-07-19The Tops in Albion was a very nicely laid out store, but so very cold with the air conditioning that it made me sick to my stomach and my daughter was queasy also. We had to cut our shopping short because of it.
