They seem to jack up their prices just so they can make their sales look like a good deal. Plus their sales are designed to encourage you to buy multiples of an item when youd normally only buy one. Often not enough cashiers.
I really cant pinpoint why I hate this location. It could be the layout, which I find very confusing and strange. It could also be that the bathrooms are literally in the workers lounge area, and that its a maze just to pee.. Or the unknowing feeling as if I was about to be mugged.I would like to add that I hate being lied to.. telling a customer that they cant pay with a $100 bill is ridiculous. Any store, doesnt matter what type should be able to account for any kind of bill that a paying customer is trying to pay with. Regardless of the what time it is, or the amount of their total amount. Boggles my mind.
Fruit selection always over ripe and overpriced especially considering its always beat up and over ripe. Meat is poor quality and always priced as if its from an expensive butcher. Backed up lines always.But you have fresh chicken liver so ill keep coming back.
Quiet in the mornings. Wednesday is the best time to shop. Fridays have the best time to look for markdowns. Friendly sales people. Have magazine rack. Good for handicapped people and children. And you can find a varuety if foods, evdn some kosher foods. And ready made foods. Great bakery too.
This store in particular have moldy fruits and some expired canned goods. They still remained on the shelves even after they were told. I could not buy any other fruits or veggies. Afraid of the freshness. The store itself is in desperate need of a serious update.
Visited for fish frys today ash Wednesday service was great and fish fry was outstanding. Hats off to the military road tops carry out at 1pm today great job
Hasnt been updated in decades, but manages to maintain a clean and reasonable tops market. But lacks anything special compares to any other grocery store beyond whats found in the sales ad.
Love my Tops store! Produce is fresh and plentiful, ads have good deals. I also like the gas discount reward program.
I havent been here in a while but I was glad I came I actually enjoyed my shopping trip here the displays are well stocked they even have a 1.00 aisle which is a plus the quality is pretty good
It is a smaller Tops. I stopped buying fresh fruits and vegetables there...I get them home and in 2 days its spoiled. The staff is usually nice..watch what you buy!

I give one star for the friendly staff . I would give 5 if rating was for staff only. But this store is always always out of stock of sale items . Carts too but not during the day when George is working .
Best Tops in my opinion in this area. Friedly knowledgeable employees. Great shopping experience. This Tops is not a gigantic store and has everything you need!! Thats what makes this grocery store Tops on my list.
We love this store, and wish the 10 for 10 sale would allow them at $1 each for less than 10 like they used to. Or perhaps reduce it to 5 for 5 ?
Small, employees was miserable, rude, and disrespectful, lines was very long customers were arguing and fighting, place needs an update and better lighting with more and better merchandise and need to lower their prices they are outrageous compared to the other tops

Nickname: Two Lane Tops. This place always has 2 lanes open for check out almost always! Its a smaller Tops, and does not have a lot of variety to choose from. They also tend to be out of stuff all the time
Not a large store. If you are looking for a special food you probably wont be able to get it here. But it has all the necessary items.
All my friends are Wegman fans I seen to find better deals and better quality at tops especially the small little one on Military Road very clean very friendly staff
Usually have more options than most surrounding areas. If its a holiday and what you need is out of stock, then check the tops on portage. They normally never run our of stock.
Its a fine super market and one I considered top notch until Wegmans came on the scene. Tops is my solid second choice.

Close and convenient, and pretty good prices, produce just ok, meats usually good except they need to clean their meat slicers more often than what they do, its unsanitary to slice different meats and only clean it twice a day.
Its a little like being in a hospital. Go to Wegmans instead. Its all around more aesthetic. The people working there arent as boogie either.
This is my area store, convenient and their always friendly. Dont go anywhere else!!

Small, bathrooms are awful, needs updating. And there is a horrible odor walking in to the store. But the service is great.
Only two cashiers were working and six to seven people in line, you could have ordered a steak and ate your meal before you where cashed out at this store.
Went there shopping before i had surgery on my legs for pad.one of the cashiers noticed i was having problems and ask what was wrong i explained.she offered a motorized cart which i didnt want.she then ask for my list and doe my shopping for me.
If youre on a quick run Id recommend this location. Quick in and out BUT they really lack the variety that the other locations have

2022-05-25A worker didnt know how to tell me how much money I had left on my Food stamps was very ignorant as I told him I had Food stamps and cash I purposely purchased all items for 5.00 off my total purchase I ended up cashing a 100. Bill to pay for all groceries was supposed to get free cheese I asked if he could get someone to get the cheese and his name is Michael gave me the coupon back said there was nothing he could do for me kept apologizing for taking so long with me embarrassing me like I was just a person not even a costomer

2022-06-29I used to work here. There are a few workers that work there to this day when I was working there that I am still friends with.Then 1 day I got hurt on the job back in 2015-2016. I never recieved workers comp papers which I should have. They marked me down as a preexisting back condition and I was basically forced to be let go because they can always find another me right? And I had to be able to lift 50lbs.or more. No big deal🤷♂️ Over the passed few years my mother has passed away and Ive been struggling with income since then. My back still hurts from disc hernias and disc degeneration since 2016. Which I didnt have a preexisting back conditionbecause why would you hire somebody to lift 50lbs.or more?? No income since then. No income now. The situation couldve been handled differently. Not a good store to work at. At least I thought it wasActually the rating should be ZERO stars

2021-05-21The only plus of the place - it was working late during pandemic craze.Self checkout usually takes more time than shopping itself. The system is faulty and outdated. Actually you cannot go through it without assistance in most cases.Gas station is outdated and needs strong renovation.

2020-05-04Generally high prices and a poor selection, coupled with several unpleasant interactions with staff, make this location one of my least favorite places to shop. I’ve also found that Tops doesn’t maintain their produce departments and cleanliness standards up to other area grocery stores. Just drive down the road to a Wegmans instead.

2020-09-06Outdated like most Tops, however this location gets huge props for its location, which is between all the other major stores. If you’re just looking for a few things and they’re basic items it’s worth stopping here as opposed to braving the clusterf*ck of busier locations. It’s never busy which is also a bonus.

2018-10-26I stop here all the time after work and theres always something inconvenient happening. Never enough registers open or the Express lane is closed. Sometimes shelves are not stocked or weird customers. Its not the greatest Tops but everyone is always nice. There is also always a help wanted sign on the door so I think if they had more staff it would resolve many of the issues.

2017-03-20I go because its close to home. If I need something fast I can run in and out, but I dont prefer this Tops over the others. Its very small, doesnt always have what you need (even basics), and sometimes the lines are incredibly long.Quality of food is okay-ish... Ive seen a lot of rotten fruits and veggies sitting on shelves, but otherwise things are relatively fresh.

2019-02-13Its a nice store for a short trip. There are normally not enough registers open and there are a couple cashiers that really need a review in customer service. Very snippy but the rest of the staff more than make up for them. They are very friendly and knowledgeable.

2019-11-01My local Tops. Not the newest or cleanest, the staff is very friendly and super helpful. Stock is good, and generally get you checked out really fast.Would recommend a store revamo and some new carts.
