The tacos arabes are the best in the NYC area in my opinion. Met a gorgeous friendly bartender today. Unlike other bartenders in the area she knew how to keep a conversation going by elaborating. Felt welcomed there and plan on returning. Mariel does exceptional customer service.
I never leave reviews anywhere but this place was ridiculously unorganized. Went there to have a nice dinner with my mom...when we arrived we had to seat ourselves because no one greeted us. It took the guy 15 min to even look our way. When he FINALLY took our order , we ordered tacos ... that’s all. Nothing crazy to ask for. While we waited we ate 3 baskets of chips and salsa because the food never came. Mind you we ordered @8:10 ish. When I looked at the time because we were getting so impatient it was 9:00... the restaurant was not full what so ever , the waiter never assured us the 3 tacos per person we ordered were coming he just ignored us in total.Then angry as I was I just asked for the check for the 2 sodas we had and he said”oh no the food is coming soon” I said no I want the check, he took ANOTHER 15 min to get the check . Worst service I’ve ever received , then after that we went down the block to a taco truck and got our tacos in less than 5 min and tasty too. AVOID THIS PLACE.
A solid place to get Mexican food on Roosevelt. Servers mostly speak Spanish but its ok if you language skills arent up to snuff. They were very accommodating to our large group.
Good food and cozy environment but the bathroom (yes, only one) is unbearably dirty.

We had been here before, kind of a year ago, maybe more... Kind of expensive but the food was good enough to bare whit it... But this time first of all we find a sign at the door, now its a cash only place whit those prices its a red flag.We went ahead cause the food was so good, then we had to wait 25 minuts for an order of chilaquiles con huevo... 25!!!... I never in life waited more than 10 mins for and order of those. The salsa was flavorless and didnt whort at all... Idk how they are still open considering the huge amount of Mexican restaurants in the same street, all of them taking card payments and serving way better food.
Food its great, margaritas are good as well but serves it the worst, I ordered testadas to be delivery and I received broken tostadas, I call and I feel like it was my fault, no care for the costumer at all
The food is quite good.The Huarache with beef tongue is quite good, the pastor taco is alright but not their best.The service could improve, waitress should be more on point on what is needed at the table.
I love this place...The staff is always friendly, the food is always excellent, and the frosted glass for your beer is such a nice touch!12/12/19 : ive now moved from jackson heights, but this place is the best....next time i return i will be going here to eat breakfast, lunch & dinner.....I love you, El Toro Bravo
Terrible customer service. Waitress messed up order. Terrible food. Just don’t even waste time and money going here. Waitress is an absolute b i t c h. DON’T COME HERE!!!! You wait 1 hour for terrible food. Waitress has a memory span of a goldfish and she looks miserable.

This place used to be my favorite Mexican place in all of NYC, however the food quality and restaurant have changed over the years and it no longer is the best. That being said it is still very good and well priced food.

The food is good, but I dont think its fair that they charge you 18% of the tips on the bill, that is given voluntarily and depending on the quality of the service, it is the percentage to give, since sometimes the attention to me is very bad. very particular opinion, another charge you 4% of a restaurant service tax I dont know if its legal or based on what they charge that percentage but well it was my last visit today.
My girlfriend brought me here for the first time since she comes with her family the other times she can. Well today would be my first and last time after finding a fly in the sauce of the nachos that I imagine they give people as an appetizer. I didnt want to attract so much attention and I waited for the waitress to explain the problem but with little experience or not giving it so much importance she even asked me if the fly was there when she brought the nachos and salsa, I wonder if I did it. That offends anyone with such an informal question. Please be more professional in your work, have a good view if the dishes have defects, because each other person can create so much drama, until I talk to the manager but I just got up and said thank you very much but better I will eat somewhere else quietly. The only good thing about that place was the two exit doors since one of them was behind me to get out of one.
Good Mexican food and service even though I see some bad reviews I have a good experience. And above all the micheladas with victory are very rich.
They told me that if they accepted card and when I paid they told me that the card machine did not work and without helping me find a solution
The food has no Mexican seasoning ..Burrito 🌯 and meat does not bring meat and only rice and beans not guacamole and simple without taste .. I am Mexican ...Colombian music. I recently went to eat in that place and asked for two tacos without onion and the waitress brought it with onion and I told her that I had ordered it without onion and she answered that it was the chefs mistake and that I had to eat it like this or If I made others without onions but those I had to pay anyway, anyway, I better paid them and I didnt even eat them.
Well, although I see some negative comments, I love the food (the enchiladas, the tacos, the fish a la diabla, the garlic mojo, in short all the foods that I have had the opportunity to eat, everything has been very Also the drinks like micheladas, the attention of the staff that works there is very good, I highly recommend it.

The food is good, I have many years full to eat. My bad experience was that they only accept cash now, if and to be a restaurant and they do not accept debit or credit cards for me it does not make sense my children took me to eat and wanted for the first time as mothers day and pay them at the end I came paying xq they do not use cash like many young people. I hope you take into consideration the comments of those in charge of the administration

I live in Newark NJ but it is worth the trip to this part of NY, to enjoy the authentic Mexican cuisine that with its flavors and aromas makes me feel that I am in my beautiful and beloved Mexico.

2022-05-30Worse Tacos i’ve had in a long time! They brought out chips for us the salsa was very watered down they also gave us guacamole it was very bland tasted off. We ordered beef birria tacos, They didn’t bring us any broth we had to asked for it and it came 15 mins after our tacos did. The tacos were disgusting, mushy and dry and the meat was very chewy! i don’t recommend.

2020-02-14Best Mexican food there is. The younger tacos are good, green sauce has just the right about of kick. Rice and beans are flavorful. They have a variety of Jaritos flavors. Probably the best Mexican food in Queens.

2022-02-27Y’all have to try their chicken quesadillas with corn tortilla! I drive all the way from the Bronx just to have them. I grew up in this areas but moved away 18 years ago and those quesadillas are totally worth the drive! Having some tonight 😅

2019-08-28The tacos are the best here the tripas are awsome here they make them toasted and the taste awsome they also give you a. Appetizers to start which are some nachos the drinks are good here too the ambience is good and peaceful. A must try if your in the neighborhood.

2018-01-06I love this place. Ive been coming here for years when it had a different name but the menu stayed the same. Every time I come, I get the steak quesadillas with rice and beans. Its my favorite quesadilla ever! They also serve you chips and dip when you first come in. The atmosphere is nice, they play music and also have tvs. Its good for group parties. The waitresses are nice and do their job efficiently. I totally recommend this place!

2021-04-11Zero stars if I could I tried to order delivery from these guys and waited over an hour just so they can say “we didn’t receive anything” (which is a lie because every person has to confirm the order especially since I used to work in the food business). Luckily I called and the lady ended up putting another order in...or I thought good thing I decided to call back to make sure it was paid for because I ordered from Grubhub but her response? “Call Grubhub because I don’t want to end up paying it out of my pocket so I never put the order in” what in the actual ****? Avoid this place by all means unless you like your food to be sent late if your lucky enough or even get sent the wrong food with poorly small portions. I’m not the type of person to write reviews but holy cow I had to put these people on blast. NEVER AGAIN.
