Over the years this park has gotten better. The childrens are is nice, they have two sets of swings, one for kids, another for toddlers. They have the sprinklers on during the summer. Theres a handball court, basketball court, and people also play soccer in the same court. Its a really big park. There is no parking lot. On the weekends they tend to have farmers market right outside the park which is really great. Overall nice park. They also have a doggy section.
The gentleman who represents the Sunnyside Book and Media Swap feature made a lasting impression in my soul. Respectful and mindfully talented to share knowledge. The perfect scape from the fast pace and sometimes overwhelming noise of the city.
Great place for kids it is public and have many fun toys. Dog play grounds also next to each other
It is a nice place to take small kids to park to play. It is safe. Is has bathrooms for men & women. Exclusive place for dogs to play. Has playground for people to play & some times they have matches between teams. People take morning walks and do exercises. Have sings for little kids. It needs everyday cleaning which is missing. I like it. I go there for a walk & morning exercise.
Great park in the heart of Sunnyside. There is also a dog park with separate areas for small and large dogs. Always kids around seem to be having a good time. Friends of mine with dogs love taking them here. Great place to just hang out in a nice spring day.
The park has nice handball courts, it has 2 volleyball courts, and basketball hoops. There is a small dog park place near where your dog can play. But some of the courts are usually taken, so the earlier you go, the easier it is to get a court
Great place to either take the kids to the park, walk the dog as the do have a dog park there, or play sports. They have a volleyball court, handball court and a basketball court as well as a place to play baseball or softball or just soccer. It is all concrete though, not grass. The dog part is really cool, two different pens surrounded by some small trees and bushes.
Very large open playground. Perfect for families and kids, or for pulling up a lawn chair on a summer day.
Good number of swings both open and safety seat ones. The jungle gym is pretty extensive though the slides arent terribly high. They also have a rock climbing wall. Seems suitable for a wide rank of ages.
Not your best playground but certainly not your worst. Actually a nice surprise when I took my toddler here was how much fun we had watching the dogs run around in the dog park. You can look down into the dog area from up above and the doggie action is as primordial as you might expect.

Its my favorite little park in Sunnyside. Ive spent most of my mornings there or afternoons for lunch tanning on a bench.

Every Saturday at the park is a fantastic Farmers market. Everything was awesome!

This park has a basketball & handball courts. A workout station(pull-up & dip bars). Kool park/play ground for the entire family. .... JM.
In the summer is the best. They have pools for the dogs to play in. They also provide bags. But its all cement and no grass.
This park is known as Skillman park to most people growing up in Sunnyside. It has a separate space for little children, big dogs, little dogs and bigger kids. This park has a handball court and a big concrete field.
The dog park at Lou Lodati is a community I see other dog owners come there for days at a time they take care of the park as best as they can. Always a pleasure to stop by.
People clean up after their dogs and aggressive dogs are removed. There is a community that ensures the greatest experience possible.

Nice playground for children or teenagers who want to play basketball or baseball at the corner of the street.
Sports joint for the local kids of Sunnyside. It has a couple of American handball, volleyball and Basketball panes. it also has well sized payground for kids.
This is a farmers market on Saturdays. Good healthy options especially the water buffalo products from Riverine Ranch. The garlic bialis from the bread lady are tops.

Theres always there a group of homeless or vagrants. They seem to live there. Its uncomfortable, not a relaxing experience. The place looks like a refugee camp.
Its okay. The playground is clean but theres not much there and the dog park is like a gladiator ring.

There was a rat running around even though there were many people around, and too many mosquitoes.
I half expected it to be crowded, but actually for 4pm on a weekday, it wasnt bad at all.
A good enough selection of toys for kids and it had a dog park. The toilet is terrible though.

Great park for kids as well as adults. Basketball, handball, swings benches. Garbage by entrance finally been picked up, however not as many bags still needs to be cleaned and not have any garbage bags around especially when you have little kids playing in a park also entrance to dog run is nearbye.

2020-11-14Open space to run and play. Separate areas for smaller kids. Swings. Plenty of benches. Bathrooms. A separate space to let you pooch run free. The athletic fields are well-maintained, though closed now due to the ‘Rona.

2018-07-21Nice large neighborhood playground. Something for everyone with a kids area, swings, spray shower, volleyball, and lots of seating. There is a also a small and large dog park as well. Seemed clean and well kept. Lots of people around since next to the farmers market on Saturdays.

2021-03-08It was winter seasons, holidays not so much, yet. But snows around January, 2000, my baby child on the snow board picture takings. So as the lovely neighbors doing the same thing.. much cold, too cold,, bit of life time joy with my young family.. spring children, runs and play, summer events are just to lively.. I watch and patronize who maintain this Lou Lodati Park.... thanks, to park mgr./sup MR. VINCE, very enjoyable and memorable park.. always have been welcomed and maintained clean..time past by but it is still newly renovated to me. Your district Sunnyside Community Board, remain outstanding and beautified..yoga every Thursday is awesone.

2021-05-12Great park in city one of america first settlement area. İt is public near by Sunnyside gardens park is private. Hard to understand the logic of private parks and beaches really all beaches and parks must be open to public. This one is great point for kids having a breath
