This is a asian owned Mexican food store, their burritos and burgers are good. But other things on the menu start tasting like a homemade meal, theyre very friendly people. I would recommend trying it at least once.
Ordered food. Took 1.5 hrs to come and was cold af. Buffalo wings, cold. Tacos, cold. Burrito, cold. Do you know how it feels to wait 1.5 hours for your food and it be cold? It sucks. Thats how it feels. If I wanted to reheat food in my own kitchen I wouldnt order in the first place. Never again. Not to mention buffalo sauce all over the place. SMH
General Tsos chicken is not a real Chinese dish! Its a American ambassador disgrace to call it Chinese food! Come on, do you see any Chinese people eating there? If you dont see Chinese eaten there, that is very suspicious! Youre better off in Brooklyn 8th Avenue Chinatown restaurants there! Dont bother with second best.
I was having a problem finding a local Tex-Mex place, when I happened on Tortillas King. The facade and inside show considerable wear and they sported an A rating, so I figured this was a well established place and went in for my favorite dish - Chinichangas.I ordered my chimichangas, and the wait began. As I stood there, I noticed odd behaviors like putting metal tins in what appear to be microwaves. Maybe theyre special, industrial microwaves that is okay to put aluminum in, I thought, all the time waiting for the lightning bolts to appear (they didnt). I watched the cook put several dishes together that raised my eyebrows - nothing dirty or unsanitary, mind you, just...odd. Well one of them was mine.After a considerable wait and what seemed like WAY too short a time in the deep fryer, I was handed my alleged chimichangas and left the restaurant, heading back to the place I would eat them.First, I noticed the platter had yellow rice, but no beans. Odd, but ok. Then, I noticed peppers and onions ON the rice. Again, odd, but...Ok, maybe its their thing. The chimichangas were a nice golden brown, and the melted cheese over top looked wonderful. As I stabbed my chimichanga with the fork, there was no satisfying crunch...it squashed down and wilted like a defeated man with an overbearing spouse and 12 children who hate him. I began to worry. I then sawed through this mushy outer shell and took my first bite.The meat inside was seasoned well (I got one chicken and one steak), but remember those peppers and onions I mentioned? Yeah, there were none in the chimichangas. This buffoon never added them inside and for some of reason put them outside on the rice. This alone would have outraged me, however I was stunned - nay - bowled over when, as I chewed I realized that the chimichanga shell - the defining party of this food item - was RAW. Raw, chewy dough.Suffice to say dinner was ruined, and between the distance I was from the restaurant and the language barrier (I tried helping them get a portable heater working while I waited - eventually I did, but there was zero communication), I decided not to return to complain, have them make it over, or get a refund.Ill take this one as a loss so you dont have to. AVOID.
Horrible Food. I ordered the Chicken w/Steak Lunch Special. It didn’t come with Tortillas, Lettuce, Tomatoes & Beans. They charged me $6.80 just for Rice, Chicken & Steak. The Rice was Salty & Food was cold. Never ordering from here again.
Its not a bad restaurant I have ate there like about 4 times the food isnt amazing but it isnt horrible either so I had to be fair and give it a 3 Star review. Hoping to see improvement for the better 👌🏼
Inexpensive but its a hit or miss. Either food is too cold or soggy or its a decent snack. Try to keep it simple to get a consistent order. Quality of ingredients is suspect.
Food is good. but that girl they have talks to customers like we came to ask for their money!! its okay to have an accent but its not someones fault if no one understands you. and after all she treats you like you are the stupid one
The chicken literally looks and tastes uncooked. It has a very weird after taste to it as well. Do avoid please.
Not bad but not good either. They have burgers, tacos, burritos, and Hawaiian dishes. The burgers are standard, nothing to rave about. The Mexican style dishes are also fairly standard.
They messed up my order and they also gave both me and my sister old guacamole which was clear that it was old because it was brown and also had a smell to it. Also, the delivery guy was very rude and stood there because he wanted a larger tip.
Love this place been coming here for 10yrs easily. Best spot for good, quick, cheap food. They make everything but the sour cream.

Wow. Never again. Its never a good sign when the delivery guy for a Tex-Mex restaurant is Chinese. Nor is it a good sign when Aloha Terriyaki Grill and Yummy Chinese Food menus are stapled to the Tortilla King one, all boasting the same address and phone numbers. I ordered Chicken Fajitas with Cheese, and a Chicken and Jack Cheese Quesadilla. The quesadilla was okay. The chicken fajitas were disgusting. Barely any cheese, wilted lettuce, fatty, dark chicken meat. The tortilla chips.. too peppery. Yuck.
Don’t eat here. This is a rock not a piece of chicken. And they refused to replace the cost of my meal. Last time ordering from here. Luckily I didn’t crack a tooth.

Terrible service from the moment I walked in. The lady was rushing me to order and afterwards rushing me to pay and didnt even want to go downstairs to get me some home made ice tea they had run out of. NEVER COMING BACK AGAIN!

2022-03-04VERY DECEIVING PRICES. The prices on the wall are not the ones that they end up billing you!!! The female owner saw me choosing the Tacos from the menu on the wall and casually took my order without bringing to my attention that current prices would almost be double of what is displayed on the wall!!!??. After I brought this to her attention she ended up saying: Oh these prices are old. Oh yea, what a casual clerical error? I got SCAMMED for a few dollars - fine, but I WILL never eat here again.

2021-05-13Amazing food! I ordered the chicken quesadilla, nachos, fish sandwich, and big kahuna burger. Love the attention to detail with the perfect amount of black pepper seasoning on everything. I live in the area and received my order in 20 minutes. It was nice and hot, especially the quesadilla with the cheese pull. Wish I tried this place sooner.

2021-06-02Unfortunately, this restaurant has their menu on Ubereats advertised with no delivery fee but thinks it’s good practice to just cancel orders when they don’t believe you’ve spent enough money. Lol where does that happen? The whole point of Ubereats is that they don’t have delivery minimums and when they did they charged you a small order fee. I’ve tried ordering from them TWICE and both times they canceled my order because it was “too small.” Greedy little mfs really, they must be doing amazingly well turning away customers like that.

2018-08-22I dont know about how the restaurant actually looks because Ive only ordered from them online, but I can say that the food is awesome! Ive ordered the supreme nachos and taco salad multiple times and it was GREAT! The delivery is very quick, too. Very freash food and very cost effective. If you have a small budget and want a healthy meal, you can order their salads for a very cheap price. I would recommend to anyone!

2018-08-19The food isnt bad, the price is OK. But the chicken and beef portions they give with rice is VERY stingy. They give 7 or 8 very thin strands of dry meat on top of your rice and dont even fill the rice to the top of the lid, filled half way. They got to fix their portioning up a tad bit. I am not a child.
