The staff here are usually friendly with me and everything on the menu is tasty. I think its well worth the money. I recommend the Philly Tost and the Cheese Fries. IT BUSSIN
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Don’t bother going they make preference for phone orders and make you wait when you come in NOT WORTH IT.
I would give this 0 stars if I could. I ordered via Postmates for pickup, on a buy one get one free deal. I get to the restaurant and they did not honor the deal. No problem, got my food and left. I get home and open my dood, I ordered French toast sticks and something else. $13.75 for French toast sticks that were terribly made and incredibly smalll. It was the equivalent to a piece of bread. They sent it in a small tray, completely unpresentable. I asked for butter on the French toast for a $0.50 additional charge and they send me butter packets on the side. Terribly run and terrible food.
I wish i could give 0 star, worst panini ever, tasteless & over-toasted . I literally paid $13 for garbage food.
The food here is above average, but the employees that answer the phone do not know how to apply customer service. I usually order online, but for some reason the site was saying I could not place a delivery when they were. She was expecting me to know what to say to her when I asked for delivery, but her attitude was getting me unnerved, so I told her my order. I was not understanding her through the phone because she was speaking low. I asked her politely to repeat what she was saying, but she raised her voice at me and said your address! you want delivery right? I am familiar with the business for years, and their customer service has always been below par, but the woman lost her temper at me when I was being polite to her. This has made rethink if I should spend money here regardless of their online order. The owner, Happy, needs to retrain his employees on customer service. Only reason they are getting 3 stars is because the food is above average.
$13 for a salad with no meat (vegetarian) too expensive for queens will not be back here even Manhattan is cheaper. Even Chipotle is cheaper. The Parmesan cheese tasted like plastic no flavor. I got diarrhea and after eating here.
I create my own salad. There are so many selections of add-ins. Breakfast menu is great. I get the western omelet with tomatoes. A side of home fries comes with it. Delicious!

This is among my go-to places for food delivery. Tost Cafe provides a wide variety of food that tastes delicious and is delivered on time. Also when I need to make changes to a food item, they always make sure that my needs are met—e.g. lactose intolerance if I ask for them to change skim milk to soy milk in a smoothie—I highly recommend the Koka Moka Smoothie for this reason. Tost remains my go to place for their great healthy egg white omelettes and chicken noodle soup when I get sick. I’m glad I found this place!
Excellent variety of food from breakfast until dinner. Especially in an area where most of the food is Chinese and your looking for something different. I love getting a double beef burger with cheddar cheese and bacon. I havent had a bad item from here yet.
Wow. Omg. Just ordered from here for the first time. The driver took about 30 mins to get here with the food but to my surprise. The sandwiches and bread were still hot to the touch. 2) every thing we ate was delicious ( turkey pesto panini. My bf has a philly cheese and we ordered pasta.) everything was so tasty !!!! I’ll be back.
I’ve been ordering from toast via Uber eats for a while now and I just wanna say in addition to the coffee being Amazingly delicious, the packing of the coffee itself is smart and really efficient. I truly appreciate that you guys wrap the coffee in plastic wrap, I’ve gotten orders where the bag fell over and legit that wrapping saved my coffee, not a drop spilled. So thanks person or people at toast for just being great and anticipating that spills do happen! Thanks!
I ordered extra meat for my order but they just chose to ignore my order cuz i didnt specify what type of meat I want. I ordered online and there was no option to specify the meat (didnt even know what meats are available). I had ti call them back to argue with them to get refund, which was $2 something when I ordered seamless I had to pay for $3.50. They could jave just called me to ask for what meat option I prefer or cancle my order because they dont know what type of meat I want. They just decided to ignore my order which I payed for and thought I wont even call them back and complain. Latte I ordered for hazelnut tastes like vanilla as well. Very disappointed, will never order from here again.
I believe the lunch special is $10, which I usually get. I prefer to get a sandwich or burrito which comes with tortilla chips with salsa, choice of water/ soup/ their lemonade.It’s quick and the food always fill me up. Also, it’s a decent place to dine in, and the bathroom is clean too.
I live very close proximity to this deli, and order take out and or pick up in a weekly basis. They have and can make any kind of deli sandwich one can think of. The staff is Indian owned and run. They are very respectful and very fast at getting the food out. The cashiers can make good conversation if you decide to talk to them and there is seating in the back of the deli if one decides to sit in and eat. They mostly specialize on breakfast foods and lunch salads etc. Prices are fare, and the lemonade is boom. Highly recommended for basic on the go breakfast food.
After failing to find someone to deliver platters to a friend who just lost her fiance, an NYPD officer, I finally found Tost who would deliver on short notice to her apartment.The day scheduled for delivery was the day of the funeral. I wanted her to start her morning off right and have all her breakfast essentials, should she want or need them. Unfortunately, I didnt find out till much later in the day that she hadnt slept at the delivery address I requested, as the commute would be too much for her to travel to the funeral home. I called this morning hoping that this issue could be resolved and that the food could now be delivered as comfort. I was informed that that was not possible, that the food had been DISCARDED because no one was there for delivery. I understand if the coffee was thrown away but not the bagels and danishes.I even tried to offer to pay extra for additional delivery just to make this happen for the widow and just kept hearing thats not possible - as per the manager and that we could not have that delivered. I understand that this is a business, and I am sure they were frustrated to deliver items that could not make it to the final destination, but I am discouraged at their inability to be compassionate in my friends time of need and that they were completely WASTEFUL. $60+ just wasted.I would have given over 1 star for their convenient website and I have enjoyed their food before but this 1 star is for customer service.
I ordered food to be delivered, which I was charged a $3.00 delivery fee. I live over a mile away. When my delivery guy arrived he was on a bike, my food was in a black insulated bag. I checked the food, it was warm to cold. Food was okay, probably would of been better hot. Dont order from here if you want delivery your food will be cold, I called to complain and the girl said the guy didnt have a car.
Their food is usually pretty good however I have to agree with jasmine they always get something in the order wrong and then argue or somehow the customer is always wrong. They always seem to forget the side order of avocado, charge me for it but wont send the delivery guy back with it and have the nerve to tell me I can come down and pick it up myself unbelievable. Good food but horrible customer service. I can get an overpriced salad with avocado somewhere else!
I hope Im allowed to attach a photo. I just ordered from there. One slice of chocolate cake one slice of red velvet cake, both the same price. The red velvet is terribly stale and like a third of the size of the chocolate cake. I ask for nothing else but consistency. Stop doing this to your order out customers.
I rarely post reviews but...This place does not mess up my order, ever!Fast delivery if within a fair distance. Food is always fresh and they will make changes at your request. I visited their location omw home and found their place to be clean and the workers are friendly. Thanks Tost
The food is extremely good from here, but the owner needs to realize we are not in midtown Manhattan with those sky high prices he has and understand the place where he has his business and price accordingly to the neighborhood...
Really good food for the Kissena/Flushing area. Quick bite right near Queens College is a local favorite. Paninis are the specialty, but with the walk in feel of your local corner store/deli. Ample table space to sit down and chow down.
Their soups are good. Chicken cutlet too .I had a slice of chocolate cake 2x. First time it was delicious . 2nd time awful was stale couldnt eat it
Amazingly fresh food and friendly staff. Its nice to have healthy options right off campus. Definitely recommend coming here and trying the Mexican quinoa bowl with chicken
Order food at least once a week and it’s usually very good. Today the order was messed up, but when I called them, they were very nice, prepared a replacement meal, and sent it over quickly.
The food is ok I got myself a salad so I know Im not expecting anything unique. Their chicken taste horrible and your not really getting your moneys worth. McDonalds salad taste better then this place and thats sad

Not the place it used to be. Besides hiking up the prices more then once within 2 yrs. The delivery min went up too. The food formula changed so its not even good for the prices that they charge. Its robbery. Wish the food wouldve at least stayed the same.
These people have the most DISGUSTING customer service ever. They dont know how to talk to people, they dont know how to get their orders right, and they have the AUDACITY to tell us we are liars. Our office orders an EASY $300 a week from them and they are about to lose our account over a measly $1.50 bagel?? The Spanish woman who answers the phone is always rude. And the manager? Forget him - he ALWAYS sides with his workers. Maybe theyre dating or something because she can do NO wrong. The customer is always wrong with them. Its really sad that they are willing to lose an account because homegirl cant pack a bagel. Then they want to argue with us for our money back. DISGUSTING. CUSTOMER. SERVICE. Id rather eat dirt than deal with this place again.

The Classic Tost Chicken Panini is delish! Only reason I like coming to Queens College. Food is great. Strongly recommend.
I have a love/unsure relationship with Tost. the food is really good when you go but it in person but if ordered for pickup or delivery its not the same quality.
Under cooked chicken served with quesedilla. When I called to explain, the manager challenged me and was obnoxious. My entire work staff and Ill never order from them again. Also, another similar incident happened, where one of my co workers had to throw away the tuna sandwich because the tuna was bad...
The food is okay, but the customer service is awful. And their excuse for everything is “we’re closing.” No air conditioning? “We’re closing in five minutes.” Asking then to turn the volume on the TV up? “We’re closing soon.” Either you’re open or you’re not, you want to wrap up early, change your hours.
BEST BURRITOS EVER! Hands down better than anything Chipotle can come up with. Sorry Chipotle... Lol But Tosts food is authentic to Hispanic food because its made by real Hispanic people who know how to season it just like our abuelitas and mamis and tias do! I love Ten Ren because you can actually taste the tea and not the tons of cream and sugar additives that other popular chains have. Also, the bubbles are my favorite- perfectly chewy and a little on the larger size.

When I worked around the area we used to order their pastas made to order, their salads, their paninis, their soups, their lunch specials and their fruit shakes and all of it is great.
Food is good but the manager is very rude and unwelcoming.

Ordered over 2 hours ago and am still waiting for my food. Have called multiple times and each time they say it just left. Quality has dropped dramatically since they dropped the Tozt name. They will lose a lot of business from my office.

2022-02-17I came here to grab a quick bite to eat and was charged over $6 for a grilled cheese. I was in disbelief that a grilled cheese would cost over $6. The food at this place is decent but for a simple cafe that is right near a college, youd think this place could at least have reasonable prices for students. I definitely will be looking for a new spot that isnt so expensive.

2022-03-11Wish I could give this place 0 stars. I came in for a chicken wrap - and it tasted terrible. I don’t know what meat that was - but it definitely wasn’t chicken. I’ve gone to this place before - tried a few of the sandwiches with a friend and they’re also just alright. “Alright” shouldn’t be something you should expect from a $7-9 sandwich.

2022-03-05I’ve been coming to them since I was in college so for over 8 years. I love there salads, chicken fiesta chicken Caesar definitely get the Mexican Philly it’s amazing. I no longer live in NY but I would order for pick up all the time and they would recognize my name. Next time I go toNy this will def be one of my stops

2021-08-14Their food SHMACKS. Its really good. I love the fresh icy lemonade they have. Fresh veggies too, their burritos are immaculate. Staff is very sweet as well in such a bright, cozy cafe to chill in.

2021-10-10Ok if you are looking for a quick bite. 2 of our 3 orders were overdone. We order a toasted bagel with cream cheese. The bagel was half burnt making it bitter. Same with our Big breakfast tost, the panni was half burnt on the outside. We have to scrape off all the black stuff. Only the western omelette comes out alright.

2020-09-14Although it isnt what it once was, this location still offers a good salad and sandwich. Their Smoothie and Juice selection has been diminished to one panel that you can choose from, but theyre still tasty. Great for a healthy alternative, but be prepared to wait for your food.
