THE WHOLE STAFF IS FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING. I WILL ALWAYS REFER ALL OF MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO NICK AND TOURNEAU OF ROOSEVELT FIELD!
I am extremely disappointed in the service and lack of professionalism I received at Tourneau from Janny Shea in Roosevelt Field Mall. Not only was she rude and unprofessional, she wasted almost 2 years of my time while on a “watch” list. Please see below the chain of events that led to this negative horrific dishonest experience.December 27, 2020 - I walked into the Tourneau store after waiting 1 hour outside on line. I loved this Rolex watch and spoke to Janny Shea. After I was told that she can order the watch for me without any wait/timeline as long as I gave a deposit of 50%. I was more than excited to move further with this purchase. I came back the next day and left a $20,000 deposit to secure the purchase of this watch, which is a Rolex Day Date 228235.As the year 2021 came, I was eagerly waiting for my watch to arrive. Months had gone by and I had not heard from Janny. I followed up numerous times to get an update on this as I had 20,000 dollars PENDING (Which could have been used anywhere else) and ALL I would receive back was a dry one word answer which was “No”. In addition to the emails, I also called her and tried to be nice and just inquire about my purchase, she would cut the conversation short and say No I do not have an update. One time she even said to be considered to be lucky that Rolex even accepted my order. Is this the kind of behavior I am expecting when purchasing a luxury item from one of the best watch stores?The year 2021 goes by without any contact. It is now the month of APRIL 2022. I AGAIN asked Janny for an update and expressed my concern as it had been over 1 year since I had given my deposit for this watch. The ONLY answer I got was “I have no update for you, I would rather give you your deposit back “instead of telling me what the issue actually was. I did not want my deposit back; I wanted the watch that I was promised. 3 weeks later, she called me and said she cannot get my watch for me and issued a refund. How UNPROFESSIONAL is this? What a WASTE of my time and energy? How does a watch with an accepted order suddenly cant be fulfilled? The money was given to you guys for over a year in the sum of 20k INTEREST free?
What can I say!? I had the most unbelievable experience and treatment during my visits at Tourneau. Sofiya was very professional, made me feel comfortable and really delivered on a wedding present Ive been looking for! Its gorgeous! I dont know what I love more, the present or the incredible service! I definitely recommend them and I look forward to doing more business with her in the near future! Thank you, Sofiya!!
I want to take the time to write about the wonderful experience I had at the Rolex Boutique and the excellent service I received from Janny on 6/11/22. My wife and I were in the Mall just window shopping for some possible gifts for our upcoming 20th wedding anniversary this July 2022. As I am an avid watch collector, I just had to stop in to the Tourneau store while we were there. My wife and I have purchased several timepieces from Tourneau over the past several years and I wanted to look at the Rolex the display models. I knew Rolex watches are hard to come by these days, but figured wed look anyway at some of the display models anyway. Janny approached me and my wife and we struck up a conversation about our upcoming wedding anniversary. Well, right there Janny handed me a DJ41 yellow gold two tone, champagne diamond marker dial, on a jubilee bracelet, to try on. It was gorgeous. I have large wrists so it didnt even need to be sized. It fit perfectly. As I thought it was one of the display models, I handed it back. Much to my surprise, Janny told me that it was actually brand new and for sale and if I wanted it, it was mine to purchase. Well I almost fell over right there, as I didnt have one Rolex in my collection. I was put on a supposed waiting list for a Rolex submariner with date, at another Tourneau branch about 3+ years ago, but I never heard back from anyone. Someday I hope to get a Submariner, but with the grey market prices, I didnt want to pay way over retail for one. Anyway, My wife told me to purchase the DJ41 watch as a gift from her for our anniversary, so we did. I cant tell you how happy I was to add such a beautiful timepiece to my existing collection. Ive been in and out of many authorized dealers looking for a specific Rolex for a milestone (well aware of the climate of Rolex over the last few years). Sofiya at this location was probably the kindest, most helpful and professional associate Ive come across. She took the time to chat in person as well as respond to follow ups and ultimately help get the watch I was looking for. A lot of Rolex ADs wont give you the time of day but I couldnt have a more positive experience here with Sofiya. Highly recommend and hope to be back soon!
Personable, Knowledgeable, and Professional all describe Sofiya at this location. I was greeted with a warm welcome from Sofiya the first time I stepped foot into Tourneau. She was able to help me get a time piece to add to my watch collection. She made this a very positive experience and I would recommend her to anyone else. I have to call out SA Janny for a wonderful experience here. I put my name on the list for my grail watch back in January, not even imagining Id get a call back this year as this model is extremely rare. I followed up periodically to register my continued interest then BAM! While I was out in my yard finishing up my Labor Day BBQ, I get the call. Suffice it to say, I was there to pick up my watch the very next day. Thank you Janny, I hope to buy more watches in the future! Highly recommended.
I am writing this review to bring notice to the fact that people who shop at these luxury brands are being poached by thieves who follow you to your car..happened to my family and they don’t ever pick the phone up which doesn’t help me feel like they are trying to help the investigation. They probably sell the most expensive things in the mall and the customer is left to deal with the danger waiting outside. Who cares what happens to your customers if you made the sale I guess.
Can’t thank Nick D’Amato and the management team at Tourneau Roosevelt Field enough for going the extra mile to ensure I got the watch I wanted. I will certainly be back to see Nick for my next watch purchase and will be sending them referrals if I know anyone in the market for a luxury watch.
I’ve visited a few Rolex Authorized Dealers throughout the years and majority have given false promises and broken dreams of owning a Rolex. Our family sales Rep Nick has been the best I’ve ever worked with. Even before acquiring the first timepiece he didn’t discourage us and helped us try on any piece In the display case the first time we came in even with no guarantee we would even buy it! Now few months later Nick has helped me acquire my first personal Rolex and a piece my mother fell In love with! Can’t wait to do more business with Nick and this store!
Waited for a different dealer to get a BB58 (ref# 0001) for a month and heard nothing. Called here and spoke to Janny who had one in stock, came down right before closing, which I hate doing to people, but she waited for me. Showed me the BB58 with a Pelagos and another Tudor. I knew what I wanted. Got excellent service and help from not only Janny, but other members of the staff. Overall, a great experience and I look forward to getting my next piece from them.
Ive always been intrigued by the fascinating time-pieces that Rolex and many other exclusive watchmakers have to offer. As a result, I would frequently stop by the Rolex store located in Tourneau at the Roosevelt Field Mall location whenever Id get a haircut and was always pleasantly greeted by the staff and management. Every time I would walk in I was greeted very warmly by Sofiya who went above and beyond to answer any questions and further assist in my inquiry into the watch I was interested in. It really made my day when I received a phone call that the watch had arrived. I am very grateful to have purchased my first timepiece from Sofiya at Tourneau. I can officially say Ive had a warm welcome into the Rolex club. Thank you Sofiya and Tourneau for the wonderful experience and helping me obtain my dream watch!
My fiancé & I went to Tourneau yesterday, to find a nice watch to purchase. To start, we weren’t approached or helped until I asked for assistance. A lady named Whitney helped us. Whitney was a very pushy sales associate & kept directing us to Carl f Bucherer watches. We weren’t really interested but she kept insisting we checked it out. We saw one we were interested in trying on, she then said she would go to the back & find us something better. She came out with the watch & it was a nice overall watch. However we were still undecided. Whitney continuously kept pushing to buy this watch & we ended up getting it.The watch was also sold to us with another box. Later that night my fiancé didn’t really like the watch & I noticed the watch had a scratch on it. Today, not even 24 hours later we came to return it & they accused us of scratching the watch & they told us we could only have an exchange for the same price or higher. The watch was sold to us with a scratch, no original box, & the watch wasn’t even out in the showcase. The customer service was HORRRIBLE. Please do not come here.
Walked into today, looking to expand my collection from Omega, to Rolex or Panerai. Sales Associate didn’t seem interested to help me at all, did not even want to show me or let me try on the Preowned Rolex Section. I was hoping to make a sale of a yachmaster and an explorer 39mm, but unfortunately this so called associate walked away from me didn’t even acknowledge that I wanted to look at the selection. Horrible experience. I’m really disappointed, because you lost my business, and I was looking forward to purchasing my grail watch.
Sold me a preowned watch with missing screw on bezel. Was advertised as excellent condition but had scratches on it as well. Didnt come with the accessories that should have been provided. Service is terrible if youre not a regular shopper there. Would highly recommend a personal jewelery salesperson instead. Be warned.
Brenda and Ilse were amazing and helped me find a piece I will pass down to my son one day! I initially put a deposit on a watch which had to be transferred from another store but when trying it on I realized it wasnt the one. Brenda showed me a few other piece but they did not meet the requirement of something special to remember my sons first year. Then they showed me the same model watch my father bought to remember my birth which I mentioned previously! They went over and above to make this a special moment for my family. They were both attentive and gave me amazing service. I was so excited about the watch I forgot to check if all the tags were in the box but Brenda has offered to help me! Went to get a new battery in my watch and the girl behind the service counter was very pretentious and rude. Straight Red hair, fair complexion. If you come across her ask if someone else can help you or be prepared to be treated poorly. In addition, it took 2 hours to change the battery. Terrible service.
This is by far the best Tourneau location we have ever been to. We were treated very courteously since our first visit to this store. We can proudly say this is the only place we will be going to, to purchase a watch. The staff is beyond friendly, genuine and professional. If you need any luxury watch that Tourneau carries... I suggest you ask for Whitney! She is very personable, works hard to get the watch you desire (especially when its not in stock) and remembers who you are... not just your name! Her customer service is top notch and she will not disappoint you. Whitney will provide you the customer experience that you deserve!
Whitney Whitney and Whitney that is all I can say. The only let down here is that I could not give a much higher rating. There are people who only come to work for a paycheck, and there are people who truly love what they do. I would recommend her over any and everyone there her smile and wittiness just welcomes you in she goes above and beyond to find you your desired piece.
Nicholas DAmato is the BEST!!! A few years ago I made my first purchase at the Roosevelt field location, and it has up until recently been an afterthought in my searches for great timepieces.. I am the most unassuming customer youd see walk into luxury watch store and have been amused plenty of times by sales staff sizing me up. Because of off-putting service back then I was reluctant to give them another try in a search for a sports model Rolex. I had an occasion to attend last week and wanted a Rolex to wear for it and didnt have much hope to find anything that day. Nick waited on me and presented a Date Just that was perfect for the occasion! His service was EXEMPLARY! His knowledge of all the brands in the store OUTSTANDING! We spoke about my desire to acquire other pieces for legacy purposes (I have two Sons) and he ACCOMMODATED! Today makes me second purchase with Nicholas (a Rolex GMT Master II that I wore home), and third at the store, all because I felt he deserved my relationship for his attentive service. I am in the market for an IWC or Carl F. Burcherer and Nick will be my guy. This store shines again because the service is SUPERB!!!
All the Rolex staff is great! I have been personally dealing with Michael & his service is exceptional. Even with the lack of Rolex Models I want, Michael always gets me what I need in a short amount of time. Excellent!2021 Update: Michael has since retired but the rest of the staff is still exceptional. Angel & Ilse are amazing & really easy to speak with. They both worked together and are an excellent team. They are both knowledgeable in Rolex & the rest of the brands offered at this store. There is no pressure and they listen to your needs/wants, also are not afraid to express their professional option on timepieces. A really, really excellent experience. Please see Angel and/or Ilse for your timepiece needs. I have been a client at this store for several years & I havent been to any other store since! Thats how much I love this establishment. Went there to buy a watch for my girlfriends birthday. While choosing i felt rushed by my salesperson Jenny. I even joked to her are you in a rush?. When I chose my Cartier watch at the end I asked for the Certificate of Authenticity. There was none. They assure me that they are Tourneau and that all is fine. i said no and they said they would mail me the certificate. I said no again. I was then told that it probably fell out of the package. Interesting that of all the high priced watches in the store the one I chose happened to have a certificate fall out. Sure. I refused, as such the manager came and another manager and we decided that I would get a new watch sent since I chose the last one of that type. That was acceptable. I was told I would receive a call and an email confirming the following day.That day came and went with no call or email. In fact a whole week went by with no call or email. I actually called the store twice and left messages. No one returned my call.I went to the store to get a refund. They then come to me with the watch or a watch. and Jen tells me it just came in. This could have been the same watch or who knows. They think youre stupid. I just replied Im no longer interested and got my refundI certainly do not expect this type of service when Im spending for a high ticket item.Go elsewhere
I do understand that special safety measures are being taken to ensure everyones safety, but when you see several employees leisurely strolling inside the store with only 1 customer inside, as 7 people are lining up outside waiting to be let in when someone is available it makes you wonder... are we here to buy a mr softee cone or a $6000 watch?needless to say that 4 people gave up and walked away as I am writing this review... I waited outside for over half an hour with my 74 yo mother and nowhere to sit, once inside I complained and was told they were understaffed and on top of it they did not have the brand I wanted even though they are an official authorized dealer! shame on you Tourneau for your poor and rude customer service .I took my business to a competitor and bought the watch the same day and it was a breeze. I will never return to le Tourneau and will never recommend it.
Worked with Ilse in Tourneau for the past month. She’s been very patient and brought me several pieces she thought I might like. She took the time to answer all of my questions and even pointed out a watch I liked might not be the best choice for me. Walked out with a great time piece and very satisfied, look forward to working with her in the future!

Props especially to Dennis Goff who assisted me while buying an Omega Seamaster for my kid brother (back in 2016)and more than glad to recognize the professionalism of Whitney Bishop who guided me with the addition of two more beautiful pieces. Have to add that I’ve been dealing with this boutique since 2008 (bought a watch for my dad) and never been dissatisfied with their attention and service.
What an experience...I wanted to come in by pushing the doors, a lady was standing behind the doors, showing me that’s a pulling and not pushing doors.instead of simply opening the door for me.I came there to buy a 9000$ watch, when I enter she only asked : « for service or sales »Not even saying good morning, hello, or any courtesy welcome!!!The watch I wanted was not available, I went towards the exit the same lady was standing there and again not opening the doors to the outgoing customer or incoming... I asked her what was her job?is it only asking people « service or sales? » not opening the doors, she replies I don’t do that.In this actual situation, there is so many people which are looking for a job,People are starving for jobs and that arrogant lady is telling customers « service or sales... »All the best for selling watches with that kind of welcomeI am not buying anything from youBest regards
Ilse is who you should look for if youre in the market for a Rolex. Her attitude is extremely welcoming and she is more than willing to go the extra mile to answer any inquiries you may have. An absolutely wonderful place to shop for Rolex, Cartier, IWC, Panerai and other watches. Dont overlook the Carl F Bucherer display either. They make some surprisingly excellent watches. Seek out Nick. He offers knowledgeable recommendations and will take good care of you.
Ive been to this particular store in the mall 3 times in the past month and the service is horrible. The wait times are over an hour because they are understaffed. They rush you to leave store after you get in and barely answer questions properly. And they even gave me an issue to try on a watch before buying. They dont kno when theyre getting a certain watch I am looking to purchase. They have a huge notebook full of names they call a waiting list. That book looks like they never make calls to notify customers to come in for their turn to buy a watch, its very unorganized system. Im taking my business Elsewhere until its more organized...
Decent selection to choose from ( Rolex, Cartier, Breitling). Unfortunately, if you dont walk in dressed in a suit and tie, expect very condescending service.The sales manager at Rolex spent all of two minutes with me and barely looked up the entire time. He answered me in one word answers as if I was completely wasting his time. He also told me that it would be nearly impossible to find the Rolex I was looking for. I ended up walking out because I could feel that I was not welcome there( even though I was ready to buy)I spoke to a different and much friendlier sales associate next door and started looking at pre-owned Rolexes. Over the next week I spoke with her again twice. I put a 20% deposit down on two different pre-owned Rolexes that I found on their website and both times I was told that they were my watches and that will not be able to be sold to anyone else. Both times the watches were sold out from under me. I never received a follow up call or any assistance in finding another watch after that, so I decided to look elsewhere.Ultimately, I ended up finding a brand new Rolex( coincidentally,the exact one I was looking for) at another jeweler who was also an Authorized Rolex Dealer.
-Rude.-Unprofessional-worst customer serviceWant to give negative star if possible, too bad have to give 1 star to give review.I purchased a new watch for my wife in the Tourneau store in Garden State Plaza, sine the weather is getting hot and the watch band is tight, we bring the watch to this Tourneau in garden city to adjust the band while shopping in the Roosevelt Field mall, and it turned into a nightmare experience. When we picked up the watch, they scratched the watch on the face on top of the 12 oclock position. I complained to the sales person but he told me that This kind of watch is easy to scratch, and watches got scratch any way. This was the most unprofessional attitude I ever seen at a store selling expensive watches. The watch is brand new and my wife only wear a few times, and we are 100% sure there is no scratch. i requested them to fix the scratch and then he start to give me all kind of excuses, starting from We have a machine to polish it but cant use it now, you need to wait a month and come back to owlish it. then the manager came out and said It needs to be send out to manufacture and the watch have to be disassemble to polish it. , and she keep denying they scratched the watch and said We handle all watches with care and we wear gloves to work on them. But when she handed the watch back to me, she was holding it with her left hand which didnt have a glove on and wearing a ring.I am very disappointed with their service. I purchased the watch from them thinking they can provide good service, but turns out their customer service is the worst. A good company cant just focus on the sales, customer service is even more important. The staff at the store gives you the feeling that they are not interested dealing with you as soon as they know you go there for service, even though you purchased a expensive watch. When they scratched your watch, they deny about their mistake and give all kinds of excuses, and the most shocking sentence I ever heard: Watches got scratch anyway.This store is unprofessional and has the worst customer service, they dont deserve any business at all, stay away from them when you go to Roosevelt Field mall. And because of this terrible experience, I decided not to buy from any Tourneau store in the future.
Came in today to the Rolex section to check out a two tone, blue faced submariner which was not in current stock at the store. I asked the blonde haired lady if they had it in stock and she pulled out her phone for a second as if she was going to look and asked if I was going to buy today. As soon as I said no and she laughed and said if I’m not buying today she’s not going to look for me on her phone. It seemed as if she were taking me as a joke since I am in my early 20’s. I actually bought 2 watches in 2018 alone in Tourneau. I am an avid Rolex collector and this would have been my 5th Rolex watch. Very bad customer service especially at a place of such value. I will not be returning. Shame.
Before you buy a watch from these folks beware should you need to get it fixed.....My wife and I brought matching Raymond Weils a good number of years back (10-12 years?). My watch stopped telling time correctly recently.I brought it in at end of April 2019. They told me they would have to send it out and Id get a repair estimate in 10-14 days. Nothing was done. After a couple of calls they finally sent it out at end of May. I was again told I would receive an estimate back in 10 days. I hear nothing and make more calls. Finally at the end of June I am told the watch is back in the store but without ever receiving a repair estimate. Its now been two full months.I take time out to go to the store only to find *NOTHING* has been done to the watch. And there is a note on it that they no longer sell the original parts (in this case a face dial) for this model. Raymond Weil still makes watches though, and I see similar models still sold. What exactly does a face dial have to do with my watch not telling time correctly? Cant they use other parts?The young guy behind the service counter is rather sympathetic and flummoxed as well and offers to take it back and try again. The technician in the Torneau on site repair room overhears and says well the watch is older and if the manufacturer says they dont have the exact parts we cant do anything because we are under contract to them and if they use other than the original parts for that particular model it will no longer be an original authentic product.I reply I am not interested in what parts are used, I just want the roughly $1000 watch I brought here [along with a matching one for my wife] to work again. Are you actually telling me that Torneau will not fix my watch, but I can walk down to the mom and pop watch repair store just a floor below Torneau in this same mall, and, if they have parts that will work they can fix this watch while Torneau will not?He says Yes and actually refers me to a Jeweler to try and have it fixed.I say You have now lost two customers. Myself and my wife. I walk out of the store and one flight down to the mom and pop watch repair store (who most likely will repair it cheaper than Torneau would have). Meanwhile, Torneau sends a young sales clerk to run after me insisting I sign for the watch thats just been returned to me because if I dont sign, they cannot give me back the watch I already have in my possession....I refuse on the grounds that if Torneau wants to hold my watch hostage for two months ostensibly for repair without doing anything to it, and prefers my $1,000 purchase with them have no further use to me other than as a paperweight -- Well.... its as if I never brought it back to fix in the first place ... so there is nothing I need to sign.....Just beware that if you make a purchase with Torneau, the odds youll be able to get your watch fixed other than to get a battery replaced will be dicey, particularly if you own it for some time -- And not because it cant be fixed, but because theyd rather sell you a new watch if the particular watch youve already purchased has been retired by the Manufacturer.However, the unassuming mom and pop watch repair store a floor below Torneau near the bathrooms and across from the Roosevelt Field in-store Post Office has no such issues - and they sell clocks and watches too.UPDATE: Sure enough Mom and Pop watch place (H & E Clocks came through and fixed the watch with parts it ordered).
Tourneau is great! Not sure if Dennis is a new manager there but it was the first time I got him for an issue I had with my watch and I could not of been happier with the level of service and professionalism I received. If you take your good watches anywhere else but a company like Tourneau you are crazy. I also highly recommend Dennis.
I used to bring all my watches Tourneau for battery changes. I did this to ensure a tight water resistant seal. Well no more. I brought 3 timepieces in for battery replacements. When I go back to pick them up I was told no charge because the watches didnt work. The first one was only 1 and half years old. The second one was working when I bought it in but now nothing. The watchmaker tells me all he did was change the battery. As for as the last watch they were not authorized to work that brand. So I go home and I fixed both these watches MYSELF. How? well the first and second watches needed to be reset when the new battery in inserted..It say this INSIDE the watches !!!. (I looked through my jewelers loupe) I used to pay $30 a piece to have them do what I can for $5. I spent Half the price of their service and bought a watch repair kit and do it myself. So Tourneau Never again. As far as my Automatics, Ill send them to the Manufacturer or some place more experienced. Im not gonna let this place screw up a 8,000 watch of mine.
I see a lot of negative reviews from people but from my experience I deal directly with the Rolex side of tourneau. I’m in my late 20s but I look like I just turned 21. I have always shown up dressed down in jeans and a t shirt. Sometimes I look like an absolute mess, boarder line homeless lol. Regardless I never had the issue where I wasn’t taken seriously and I have purchased multiple watches from this company. If your looking to purchase a Rolex or anything else from tourneau definitely ask for ILSE from the Rolex side. Very professional and knowledgeable on her stuff and she treats everyone with respect. Janny, Kristy and the team at Tourneau at Roosevelt Field are absolutely amazing. Ive been shopping here for many years now and I am always impressed by how Janny goes above and beyond to ensure that I am 100% satisfied. She is always patient and helpful with me as I try on different time pieces. I highly recommend this store for your time piece needs!
I am a watch enthusiast , publicist , collector. and editor and work with many brands Tourneau sells. Now I know Tourneau is not good with customer service, besides Huntington they are very nice. There was two people in the store when I arrived and I waited a half hour to be ignored, I was looking for a pre owned Speedy Man on the Moon, their prices were 50% higher on a reduced speedy than anywhere in the world, Why? No clue. I did buy a rolex here when I was a bit younger and the transaction was smooth, with good help. It could of been an off day. The sales staff does not know anything about watches which is a letdown and usually entails me to provide information about the watches to them. I suggest training your employees about different movements, in house, ETA, ect. They dont even know retail prices off the top of their head, which I do for 90% of the watches they carry. I guess I am too good for this store ;). Anyway, after not getting help, I went to my pre owned dealer and was treated like a king. People , do not buy full retail watches - The warranty means Nothing! You are being taken. Unless its a steel sports Rolex which are in demand and sell for the same grey market as AD. The customer service stinks. They should hire younger more vibrant staff. The older staff seems to think there are doing the customers a favor. They have just lost my business.Note to Tourneau please hire a less GrumpyStaff that can actually speak proper English.I was there on 08/23/20 and was greeted by an old man who’s main concern was put hand sanitizer on hand. Ive been to this store on more than one occasion, and because of the fact that I do not fit their ideal client type (older, formal dress), I am often ignored. When I am asked what I would like to see, I often explain I am interested in G-Shocks (which I am; I love the intersection that exists between rugged and stylish, but I prefer the Japanese-made G-Shocks). On my first visit, I was shown the entry-level G-Shocks, which apparently are more suited to a person who is in his / her early 30s in casual dress; and on a more recent visit approximately 2 months ago I was rudely told by an older gentleman that Tourneau no longer carries the G-Shock line. I went home and checked on line and found that Tourneau carries the G-Shock line. In essence I was lied to by a customer service representative as a means of potentially getting me to leave.Tourneau has a reputation of selling high-end watches, but with me has a reputation of pre-judging people based on how they dress before they are dealt with. I have not felt this way in other watch stores that I shop in, and unfortunately they will not be getting my business; its often that first watch purchase that determines if an individual will be bringing more (and often more lucrative) business to that store. Sadly, Tourneau will not get that first purchase until their policy towards customer dress changes to accommodate a more casual (but not schlumpy) dress.
Went there to look at a Rolex, I feel like I didnt get proper service because I went there directly from work and was not dressed up. Id say if you want quicker attention, dress for the store. They also didnt have a huge collection of watches, alot of date just and day date, not many submariner and yatchmaster, which is what I was looking for.
Only reason I keep going back to the Rolex store at Tourneau is for ilse! She’s honestly the best. I can’t say the same for the rest of the staff that when they see a young girl in her mid 20’s they don’t take her seriously...Definitely going back to her when I need another watch!
Visiting New York for the holidays and lost a pin in my Breitling. Figured I’d call them to see if they had one. No one was helpful at all. Couldn’t get a straight answer if they had any, and told me to call back in ten minutes. Still no answer. Horrible customer service, my watch is still unwearable, and I am so glad I didn’t buy it from them. I was getting ready to buy another one as a gift for my dad and this will not be the place I buy it from. Fail.
The worst customer service possible! I get better service at P.C. Richards lol. The will rob you blind. Dont buy any pre-owned watches! They will try to charge you $8000 for a $2500 watch. Do your research! You can buy a lot cheaper at your local jeweler. Its a shame that you spend so much money and they treat you like garbage.
Clearly theyve been told to ignore those who dont fit their ideal profile which is older and dressed in formal clothing. We waited here for a good 20 minutes (along with other customers who were being equally ignored) while THREE women who worked there were casually chatting with one customer. The other employee there was on the phone, again, casually chatting with a customer for a long while!Dont go here if you arent dressed well and isnt in the older age group. And definitely dont go here if youre not planning on buying anything (i.e. getting your watch polished, resized, etc.) because if youre not spending money they wont even look at you!
Totally (and incorrectly) financially profiled. Walked in to inquire about a new strap for one of my watches (Longines Diver). I wasnt wearing that watch that day. I was dressed in jeans and a t-shirt but apparently they must have thought I was a bum (despite my having a Breitling on my wrist, that they sell!) Nobody even gave me the time of day, or bothered to approach me, after being there looking for 15 minutes.Note to you idiots: youre making the most amateurish mistake in the book for salespeople. NEVER assume that someone who isnt in a suit and tie is broke, or that the guy wearing the suit and tie is a millionaire. It can very easily be the opposite. Never going back.On a nicer note, the Tourneau in Bryant Park is very nice. Got what I needed there.
Very nice store Whitney Bishop is very professional and knows her watches always very helpful and patient Whitney takes her time and never rushes you it’s been a pleasure dealing with Whitney has helped me many times always with a great attitude and big smile. If u go to the store ask for Whitney she’s great
I recently went into Tag Heuer I had got some bad watch work at a local Jewelry store and called and spoke to Javier on the phone about fixing the band he was really polite and easy to talk to when I came in he personally helped me and was a super nice guy I spoke to girls in the store as well and they where friendly as well great service I would recommend going and shopping there!
Don’t waste your time during Covid waiting on line which took well over an hour with only 6 people ahead of me. They only allow very few people inside at one time. The doorman comes out and asks who needs the service department and lets them in first. Very inhospitable atmosphere for people waiting.
Very poor service .I was the loyal customer of this store.I bought 3 watches within 3 years.but they don’t care after waiting30 min for my turn service lady said I have to wait 1 hour to tight my watch chain .don’t recommend any body to go this store.they have rude behavior.

2022-05-31What a smooth & delightful purchase. I met Whitney Bishop when I was in college & would go to this branch just to window shop but she always greeted me in such a pleasant way. I knew one day Id come back and buy a time piece from her. I walked into Tourneau last week with no intention of adding anything to my watch collection but she showed me this beautiful Panerai that she had just put on display. I knew I had to have it. She helped me put a deposit on it and kept it on the side for me to pick up later.Today I went into the store & she was off from work but a young gentleman by the name of Nick assisted me in wrapping up the deal and getting me my new watch. Both acted with great professionalism, knowledgeable and kindness. Its not often that I can walk into a watch store at my age and actually be paid attention to. Ive been brushed off in many many stores.10/10 would HIGHLY recommend shopping here. Whitney and Nick are both amazing at what they do. I will probably never shop anywhere else. Thank you guys!

2022-03-27I’ve gotten a few time pieces from this location and it’s always been an amazing experience, but this time Nick went above and beyond to surprise my wife. Ever since I got my Cartier Santos my wife has been wanting a Cartier watch of her own. Nick helped me make my wife believe that she was only trying on the watch again for size and surprise her when she realized it was hers. The staff is great from the management team, but specifically would like to call out our rep within Rolex Sofiya.Sofiya was extremely knowledgeable about all things Rolex, and really helped me make the best decision when buying. She was fast, extremely communicative, and very accommodating. I purchased a watch for my wife and asked Sofiya to follow up with me my watch came in. Right when my watch arrived I was notified. They even helped and ordered extra links for my watch. This location and Sofiya specifically will be my permanent contact moving forward when purchasing watches. When buying a very expensive item you want to make sure everything goes perfect, and thats what happened with the team at this store. Thank you!!

2022-07-13I find the Roosevelt field Tourneau team and especially Whitney go above and beyond on the customer experience. I must add they truly gave me the family treatment. It is the only store I will purchases watches from. The confidence they gave me on my last purchase(07/12/2022), and the level of experience and care on a service of my older watches was top notch in my opinion.

2022-03-29My experience at this location has been nothing but stellar. The staff at this boutique are very knowledgeable about all their products, their service repair center is very friendly and knowledgeable as well. I would also like to take a moment and thank Janny Shea for helping me.Janny from the moment we spoke was very courteous, knowledgeable and informative, she took the time to show me all the exhibition pieces in the display case allowed me to try them on for reference. And answered any and all questions I had at the time, Unfortunately due to Covid and availability restraints I was not able to purchase a watch for MONTHS on end until TODAY ! I received communication from Janny to which she informed me that this beauty I’ve been looking at has arrived. The perfect dress watch, I was also offered refreshments, a nice Rolex booklet to read and take home. Super satisfied and highly recommended.

2022-05-27We came to get our rolex inspected and ended upgrading. The whole process start to finish was great. Tyrone was so kind, well spoken, and diligent inspecting the watches. Very honest and hardworking and most importantly trustworthy! I wouldnt go to anybody else, he knows his stuff! With the trade in, he gave us his honest effort and we were so comfortable and confident in his evaluation that we went for the upgrade. We were then directed to Alex, who completed our transaction. He was just as great. Very smooth process. He was patient and diligent with all the paperwork and explaining all the need to knows. So we are ecstatic with our purchase!

2022-04-04I bought a watch from them on fifth Avenue in 2008. Great experience then I had to replace the battery went to Huntington another great experience… today unfortunately went to the Roosevelt Field location and it was not a great experience.. The guy could not find me in the computer and somehow that became my problem/my issue. He told me my watch was going to cost $65. It wasn’t the money that bothers me it was the way he did it. Kinds of creepy.. can’t explain it but it was like ha ha ha you’re not in the system, you’re paying.. like he was getting me back for something, like I said it’s kind of creepy. And then has the nerve to ask me why they didn’t put me in the system? Seriously I can’t make this stuff up. so if you buy something from here make sure they put you in the system or actually go behind the counter and do it yourself so it gets done. That guy was suggesting I should have done that. I was in the market for a new watch but I’ll be going to the fifth Avenue location but they know how to treat people.
