Town Square in other cities:
I always have a good time when to go there but theres so many stores in the Plaza so that you should make sure you have money, and Plenty of bags. So you can buy what you want.pretty much theres everything from food to clothing shoes et cetera great experience .I just hate trying to find a parking spot . But I dont mind walking most of the time
I understand the pandemic has changed our world and our minds but pushing people further away from the doors because of online pick up is not fair to the elderly who dont have handicap. Walking down threw the stores there is garbage in shopping carts especially by the bus stop I would reccomend a garbage can every so many feet dont really understand why there have not been any in place since A a
Helpfully employees and great products including plants, but our refrigerator had a puncture hole in the outer side. Would go back to change it but it was the last one and the only kind for what we needed. (One that could be a whole freezer too)Still would shop here again 😊
The town square mall is one of the best malls you can ever go to only because you have Walmart you have quick frog you have other things of your disposal if you ever need something or you just want to get quick bite to eat or if you just want to just browse theres a way youll find everything youll find in your disposal
Dinner at TGIF...FAIL!!This was us giving them a 2nd Chance after a previous visit had gone badly. We ordered, appetizers and drinks arrived, then the wait began! We started asking about status of order after half an hour....waitress had vanished and wasnt checking in! We asked multiple employees to check for us and they could not find the order or the waitress! Asked for manager at the one hour mark, then got tired of waiting. Left cash on the table to cover drinks and appetizers, manager came by and said the order fell off the board, offered ZERO remediation for yet our 2nd FAIL!!!
Theres only a few stores worth going to at the town square mall. Lots of wasted real estate in the plaza. I almost gave 3 out of 5 stars. Then I realized its the center of Broome Countys largest shopping district. Peoples main destination is usually one of biggest retailers in the US. They get people on the parkway. Which keeps so many of the other stores and restaurants on the parkway alive. Especially with covid.
Wasnt bad but after the snow that we had from the other day which by the way who ever is responsible for clearing the parking lot it was done well! However I thought the parking lot should have been salted or something because once snow melts there is water and once the temperatures drop it freezes which makes it dangerous for employees and customers! Some of which might be elderly or have some kind of issue that makes getting around in good weather a challenge gets compounded with weather like this!!!
Lowes real hopeful hopeful employees And very nice employees right now you cant find anything because theyre doing a remodel in the store the Vestal Lowes Something yeah you might be able to find but theyve got that sorts so torn apart right now its not even funny they started with the bathrooms they had a portable trailers thats a bathroom outside never had a heated in the lowest temperatures of the year People were complaining that it was cold and that they were freezing when they were going to the bathroom Perfect time to remodel a building during the Coronavirus And Im being sarcastic about that I know everyones trying to be Clean and sanitize you know clean Everything You Touch but you go in there and its just I mean But other than that Moses no great story you can get what you want normally or find what you want I mean
About what you expect from a big box home imorovement store. Some employees seem like you asking for help is a big inconvenience, but not everyone. More cashiers on during busy hours would be nice too, or at least self checkout for those customers only getting one or two quick items.
Do better ! They taking all the store out of there that ppl go there for. This is a college town so wouldn’t it be wise to accommodate the college student and it’ll subsequently be beneficial for the whole mall . Smh sometimes I question who the hell is running this mall . A 80 yr old with no connection to the demographic and or growing population. It’s not the 80”s ! Get in tune with the new stores that people are supporting and bring them to town square .... IF you want the mall to survive !
With an abundance of stores and a great variety, the Town Square Mall has something for every occasion. Groceries, clothes, crafts, books, and more can all be purchased within close proximity and a days worth of shopping can be done entirely within this collection of stores. Theyre well kept, and of high quality. Parking space can be an issue, though. There are also a number of restaurants there.
Always happy to shop. Walmart always has deals to find. I shop weekly for groceries. There are many different departments to walk around and look for clearance items as well as to find things you need. The store is roomy. But is always busy here. There is a pharmacy here. Smart style. Nail salon, bank and Mc Donalds.
Older now and looking run down..all due to financial problems and current Medical crisis. The major stores are gone like Bonton, Macys, Pennys, Sears...should be seriously looked at to use that spaces and ample parking for use in County..like a rehabilitation or homeless shelter or even medical facilities ..
With a collection of various businesses (clothing, eye care, collectibles, restaurants) this is the spot for finding pretty much anything youre seeking.Granted, some businesses have erratic hours (thanks to the pandemic). However, it attracts many consumers on any day.
My family goes to this plaza often because it has many places we shop at. We go to the Dollar Tree, Sams Club and Five Below often. It also has one of the few movie theaters around here. Any empty spaces have been leased back out quickly recently. I think there is too many shoe stores though.
This used to be the place to go when you wanted to do all your one-stop shopping without having to worry about running out stores. Now when you walk into this shopping mall it feels like a deserted ghost town. Now with most of the anchor stores now gone we are left if only a few major companies and just a handful of other shops which feel poorly managed. I honestly feel as if they lost faith in the shopping facility and are letting it die a slow death which is really disappointing because Ive seen the mall back in 2006 when I rely on it due to the fact that my family didnt have a vehicle. I hate to think that this is what its come to over the past few years but with access to the Vestal Parkway its much simpler to just go up the strip.
The Town Square Mall is a great little hub with just about everything you need with several bus routes running right through it and a huge parking area. Just be careful of stray carts because some of the walmart shoppers enjoy leaving them where they park or putting them on un-level ground on the edge of the parking area.
Went to theater to see a movie, sat down in big luxurious reclining seat. Nice, I thought. Then I noticed it, torrents of nacho cheese all over my seat and now me. Lucky for AMC theater I enjoy being covered in still warm double dipped nacho cheese. Turned my average 4 star experience in to a 5 immediately. Best part is I got to bring the sticky cheese in to my car and home. YES! Be back soon.
This is a great place to shop and tub errands. There aton of shops for everything you need. From grocery shopping to leisurely shopping. For sure the place to go. I will say like another reviewer pointed out since it is such a huge place you will most likely end up moving your car a lot. Or just walk around with ask of the things you purchased. But I love going here either way. We make special trips just to go here because 9 times out of 10 we can get everything we need here.
Decent selection of budget stores mixed in with mid-tier options. Very crowded by Wal-Mart visitors almost all the time. A lot of the people there give off a white trash / ghetto vibe, and the numerous, often loud and condescending college students dont enhance the place either.
I previously did demos at Walmart Vestal but have for a while now been on sanitation duty.I work for an outside company but have the opportunity to work sanitation for a while.Walmart Vestal cares. I spend my shift wiping down carts and other contact areas to help keep shoppers safe. Its a good store.
Strip mall with a variety of shops. Notably a Walmart, Sams club, a movie theater, and Barnes and nobles, along with a few restaurants. Good one stop shop for a lot of various things. Parking lot can be a bit of a zoo at times. Is large, you might find yourself driving from one end to the other rather than walking around the place.
Most every store you need to find things all convenient location.I suggest 5 below many items of all sorts, example great earphones, many different models. Some bluetooth earphones great quality only 5$ and toys, beach stuff, every season different items but also keeps regular inventory of great stuff. Also, sells lanyards everything 5$. 5$ store on steroids! Candy soda water a must go to!
Nice open air mall. We spend a lot of time here, Walmart and SAMS club are Staples for our weekly shopping. With the Dollar tree and five below you can always find something you need and we like the movie theater as well. Its also convenient to have Barnes & nobles and restaurants in the same plaza as well.
This plaza is always busy and obnoxious with people. Watch for the privelaged who treat any where they step as a cross walk. And look out for those who park in the road because 14 feet is just to far to walk. Although, if you can get past the obnoxious few the stores are quite nice and has very wide variety.
Ive been going here for one reason or another since I was a kid. I dont recall ever having parking issues, and while it seems like one store or another changes every year some, such as Walmart and the AMC theater, are constants. Theres likely to be something for you here, and if not then theres plenty of other stores along the Vestal Parkway.
This large outdoor mall is relatively well maintained with no potholes that I ran into with lots of useful stores including: Walmart, TJ Maxx, Americas est, SweetFrog, Banana Republic, Nail Spa, AMC Theatre, Van Cott Jewelers, AC Moooe Arts & Crafts, Dicks Sporting Goods, Dollar Tree, Sams Club and more...
Walmart as usual was stocking shelves when they could do it at a time less busy! They have also removed àll but 2 benches across from cash registers so there is nó more sitting to wait for family who are still shopping. Needless to say I will not be shopping there anymore!
This is a decent mall for an outside walk around Mall. It only gets four stars because it should be a little bit a way warmer if you have to walk all the way from Walmart to Sams Club in the middle of winter that is freezing. They could put something for the price of things there that covers up that area of the walkway so you can walk back and forth without freezing that is my only complaint. They got to Walmart and its a great Walmart, one of the better ones in the area and a lot of different stores and a great movie theater. Nobody wants to freeze and the parking is terrible. Please take my suggestion and build like they have it bus stops something that covers up the area that you have to walk.
I like coming here and spending a few hours. Ill see a movie, get some dinner or lunch. Plus if I need to I can stop and banana republic or samsclub if I need to. In the whole area, this is the busiest plaza. Lots if different places to eat, like TGI Fridays, UNOS, tacobell, red Robin, Chilis. For the very best part I say the theatre! This is my movie destination! The seats are super comfortable, however the food is rediculously overpriced at this theatre! For a bottle of water and a candy its easily 10$ or more, on top of your movie ticket! Add family in the equation and your looking at 100$ or more for some family fun?! Of course thats not swaying my review because this isnt for the theatre.
From Walmart to Sams lots of great shops. A movie theater, Barnes and Noble, and my favorite the dollar store where everything is actually a dollar! If you want to eat, taco bell is quick. I love endless appetizers at T.G.I. Fridays. I was not impressed with Uno. It is not technically part of Town Square Mall but you can also stop in Harbor Freight to find a tool you didnt know you needed! During the summer watch for car shows, people come from all around to show off their ride.
Lovely AMC movie theater, the seats are cushioning, ...the prices cant be beat...them theres Walmart,TJMax,shoe Circus, Sams Club,a Warehouse of Food,Products, ....am enjoyable trip for a lovely sunny day..there King too so your day is complete Lowes, hardware. ..well theres Barnes &Noble.....and for the body builders,we have Dickson Sporting Goods
Great place for entertainment and shopping, from great books at Barnes and Noble, buying things in bulk and a large variety of items from groceries to clothing, TVs and other electronics, bakery and a good snack bar at Sas Club and movies with reliner seating at AMC theaters and of course Walmart. Taco Bell, TGI Fridays and UNOS.
This mall is an absolute disgrace to malls across America. To call this a mall would be calling McDonalds a white table cloth restaurant. There seems to be just as many closed stores as there are open ones. Youre better off using Amazon or going to the mall on Syracuse (destiny mall) where they have nearly every store you can think of.
The Developers were Brilliant with the Strategic Location. With all routes leading to.Former site of the Vestal Drive Inn.This region of Broome County has been developing exponentially since its creation.A head count of shoppers in this region, during business hours, would give Vestal Town Square, orVestal Square... 2022-04-11Enjoyed our trip out here. Went to Sams, our Sams is an hour away so we figured why not go an hour the other way. Didnt realize there was so much around. We didnt get to explore other places in the plaza but definitely will get to in the future. Lots and lots packed in here, all types of stores.

2022-06-17The brixmor moto is communities connect and thrive yet the parking lot destroys cars. Their response you should look where your going. With no concern for being a respectful part of the community. Plenty of var shows each year. Unfortunately that part of the lot is an unkept mine field. Sure they patch the holes now and then. Just dont seem to be aware that each patch attempt makes the inevitable hole bigger and deeper. Now dont ever forget they will take no responsibility for you unintentionally hitting a hole. With an ever so rude comment of you should have looked where you were going. So to recap on this. They do not care what the lot looks like. They do not care that the pot holes cause harm or damage. That is not being a part of any community. This is what happens when developers control property not locals who actually care about the community
