from this place 24 miJessie the service writer took good care of me and kept me updated on my Supra's progress. Don Fa...
The staff was friendly and made me feel like more than a customer. I described the new vehicle I wanted and the dealership got exactly what I was looking for. When it was time to get my new car, the process was simple and transparent. All my questions were answered and I love my new car!
I want to say the whole experience with Pasquale was the best. Communication was great and he made the whole car buying process very simple and easy. I am glad I made the trip to Batavia from Rochester. I have bought a lot of cars in the past but this place is by far the best. Pasquale was not a pushy salesperson like most places. I would highly recommend this place .I want to also thank Tony for his help.
In May 2021 I Traded in my 2019 Tacoma for a 2021 Tacoma. It was a great experience. The sales staff was nice, I got a great trade in value, and my salesman Pasquale was professional. We have a Toyota Dealership here in Lockport, NY. But it was worth the drive to Batavia to buy from a dealership that treats people like people.
Worked with Jason Palmer on the purchase of my 2017 Toyota RAV4 I just picked up this week. Super nice, no pressure type of sales, which is appreciated. Feel like I got a really fair deal as I did a lot of comparisons of same model and trim and found other dealers were pricing the same with a lot more mileage. Although I didn’t get any extra warranties, finance manager Anthony was great at explaining the benefits.Absolutely love my new ride! Will recommend to friends and family!
My wifes Sienna lease was expiring soon so we visited Batavia Toyota to get into a new 2021 Sienna. We met with our previous salesperson, Jason P. who quickly and professionally assisted us. We are very pleased with our new van and highly recommend Batavia Toyota. Shopping local for a vehicle has proven to be a great choice. We will continue to do so.
X2.. give the team at Batavia Toyota 10 stars! Sales manager Pasquale took care of me from beginning to end on a new 4runner. Very cool and laid back. Easy going and made the process easy. From the initial contact, trade in and sale, everything was seamless. No pressure, no issues, just the ideal experience. Sparked a deal over the phone. By the time I arrived, paperwork was already prepared to be signed, 4runner cleaned and detailed for delivery. Business manager Tony Gallo also brought us through the paperwork in record timing.Best experience buying from a dealer in all of western NY.. (I have bought many cars from surrounding local dealers)Thanks Toyota of Batavia!!
As someone who vehemently despised dealerships I can honestly say Toyota of Batavia changed my mind. Unlike any other dealership experience there was no run around, everything was straight forward honest and transparent. To top it off I got a great deal which they were able to pair with a crazy low interest rate. Pasquale made the deal effortless with me spending under an hour total in the dealership. I will definitely be returning in the future for my next new vehicle purchase.
I want to give a big Thank You to Paul the service manager and Peter for going above and beyond for me. This dealership truly cares about you after your purchase. I can’t say enough good things about every experience i have with them. I highly recommend trusting them with your business.
My mother took her Toyota in for regular maintenance and tire rotation. The service writer informed my mom brake maintenance was needed soon. He said it was a safety issue. I called Upstate and asked for the service writer and wanted him to explain the problem. He said one lining was worn more than the other. I asked him how bad he said he did not know off hand. I took our Toyota to a repair shop and had them check the brakes out. The first thing was both front wheels were frozen to hubs from corrosion and had to forcibly removed these were the same wheels that were supposedly removed rotated at Upstate just two days ago that I was billed for. The brakes were fine in fact at the top of Toyotas scale for wear nothing wrong. I called and spoke to the service writer and asked him to explain the scare tactics and the charge for rotating the tires when they were not touched. He gave me the sorry about that and blamed the mechanic. I asked who the mechanic was because you could not read his name on the checklist and did not want this mechanic to touch our vehicle again. I got nowhere not even an offer to make it right he could not be the least concerned.
I had our Toyota in for service and Paul the service manager gave us a price for the work. When we checked out to pay bill the price given by the service manager didnt include labor. I spoke to Mr. Palmer the same person giving us the price he just ignored us as if we were invisible. Bait and switch besides tacky.
@Peter Mediak, is been awhile since I had an awesome experience buying a vehicle, definitely very happy with your service and professionalism, thank you again, if you need a good deal and great experience go to GM Toyota of Batavia, this guys are amazing, it was a long trip worth every mile! JC
Took vehicle in for a noise in the back of Jeep. they replaced the front brakes and a front tire. receipt indicated what repairs were done and there was documentation on there of the Customer says noise in rear. took it back right away, advised Service Manager the noise was still there, he rode with me, he said he heard it and to bring it back next morning. . I did and they never touched it. they better make this right.
Worse dealership Ive been to. Do your self the favor and go somewhere. Although it was a bad experience, they kept their word and that means a lot for that Ill give 3 stars.Update- Their service is just as bad. Scratched my car when they leaned the tire on the side of the car during a simple rotation. How do I know? Because the salt was still on the side and you can see where the tech slid the tire across the doors when doing a rotation. I wont ever come back even if the oil change is free!
The automatic cruise control was not working and they said that it needed an alignment the charge was 151.15. They insisted I would get car alignment at toyota but just had the car alignment done elsewhere so first shop fix the alignment correctly.I took it back the same day at Toyota Batavia they pulled it back into the shop. They came back out and said they didnt know why the cruise contol was still working and said they find a loner car for me, 15min later Mr Rivera said it be $35 for the car per day. The rental i got was not washed. I ended refusing them to do any additional work and drive the car 50-100 miles for computer to reset and clear the codes vs them possibly charging me more. Driving the car corrected the problem. This issue was the manager peter or Paul kept hounding me about if they were going to keep the car to fix i, calling me leaving voice-mail raised some concern. I also called Toyota Coorprate as well.Im just upset an older gentleman was in the dealer 2nd time because of an issue not resolved first time and wouldnt want someone being taken advantage of. Many other dealerships around and other dealerships have courtesy shuttle will take you home and pick you up if you live over 10 miles from the dealership with out managers approval.Update : Toyota Coorprate said someone was suppose to call me within 24-48 hrs , Toyota Coorprate called back and I told them no one ever called me so she was going to put another request in. Yes Paul told me I couldnt get a ride back to Buffalo so just take my car to a Toyota Dealer in Buffalo or Rochester now.
We brought our mother, adult daughter and son-in-law here today just to look at cars. Both ended up purchasing and had a fantastic experience. Sales staff Jason and Pat were friendly and went far and above to make the sales were easy and stress free. Zero pressure! Both cars were used. Each was in great condition and purchased below book pricing. I highly recommend the sales staff and dealership.
I just recently purchased a car from here, the experience was awesome from the start to the end. The sales team was great not pushing cars on you like most dealers do, we walked around and found the perfect combination. And everything was hastle free, i got recommended to go to this dealership. Would i send my friends there 100% great place and great people to deal with
Absolutely pleased with my overall experience with Toyota of Batavia. They did not push me or make me feel obligated to make a decision. They gave me all the knowledge I needed when it came to purchasing my Tacoma. When I explained what I wanted, they took the time to go out of their way and get me what I needed at the price I could afford. My salesmans name was Josh and he went above and beyond to make it happen. I would recommend them to any of my friends and family.
It was a great experience for me especially because I know absolutely nothing about cars! Josh Farmer was able to help me and explained every step of the way. The only thing that made me choose 4 stars was that they were a bit too pushy...but some people like that so its just preference! Definitely bringing back my business! Very friendly environment!
Toyota of Batavia came highly recommended by clients and friends so I stopped in to test drive a few vehicles. I ended up Working with Josh Farmer and he helped me find the perfect SUV for myself and my kids. It was hands down the best experience I have ever had when car shopping. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Thank you Josh!
This is the fourth car that I have gotten from Toyota of Batavia and I have gone every time to see Chris. I was one of his first customers and he has always been polite, respectful, and makes customer service his main priority. He made leasing 3 cars and buying one more a breeze because I didnt feel he was trying to sell me anything extra. A great person to help customers get the vehicle they need.
Recently purchased a 2019 Rav4 from here and I cannot say enough great things about Toyota of Batavia! I drove over an hour just to do business with them. Josh Farmer was my sales consultant - he truly went above and beyond from the moment I arrived. He listened to my needs, found the best fit for me, and took the time to teach me all the perks of the vehicle before leaving. Josh is very personable, professional, knowledgeable and friendly! I will definitely refer friends and family here! Thank you to Josh, Tony, Peter and all of Toyota of Batavia!
SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS JUST AWFUL!I purchased a used vehicle from Toyota of Batavia and the buying process was easy. Unfortunately the vehicle needed a new seat motor on the passenger side and it was going to take 5-7 days to come in. We took the vehicle and the dealership was going to call us when the part came in. Two weeks went by and I still didn’t receive a call. I called them and they said “O yes the part is in”. Being a little annoyed I said No problem and scheduled the appointment. I show up and I have to wait for the truck because I live 45min away. They say 2-3 hours tops will be the time to fix a seat motor. Three hours go by and the service advisor comes out and tells me it’s going to be another 2-3 hours. I said “ For a seat motor”. I’m stuck here going on 4+ hours. WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP EVER AGAIN! I feel because this job is free they pushed me on the back burner. If I was paying for the repair and they told me 3 hours labor they would of had it done in 2MAX!!!
Worst business Ive ever seen!! Had a gift certificate from them for work. Made an appointment and was given a price of an additional $15 - $35 for extra work we wanted done. Got there for the appointment and they dont have time for the additional work!! And on top of that, the extra work would cost an additional $80!!! The gift certificate, appointment, and conversation the day of the appointment was all with the idiot who wrote the gift certificate and made the appointment. Josh is certainly not an asset for them. Because of him, I will NEVER do business with them and would seriously recommend no one else go there. I guess working on commission warrants inflating the prices for service!!Their attempt at a solution only amplified the problem. As of now I only wish a no star rating could be given.Peter, general manager, stepped up and resolved the situation to mutual satisfaction. Thank you Peter and Chuck for your efforts.
Best car buying experience Ive ever had at Toyota/Scion of Batavia!! Not a high pressure sale. Salesman Jason Palmer was very informative, patient, and helpful. If anyones looking for a vehicle check them out. Very happy with my new Scion FR-S.Best car buying experience Ive ever had. Buying a car is a big commitment and a huge decision, so when youve got a great salesperson it just goes easier. It was clear Jason wanted me to buy the car that was best for my needs and one that I will continue to be happy with. Id recommend them to all my friends. This is a small town dealership that values the customer.
Toyota of Batavia has a great inventory of vehicles. The staff are personable and easy work with. Buying new, pre owned or leasing, it doesnt matter. In these unique times of a pandemic and civil unrest, the many diverse buyers were all treated respectfully. If your looking for a vehicle, make an appointment or stop in.Leon , Paschel or Chris are ready to assist you.Toyota is a great product!Tony in finance is an outstanding conversationist. Strike up a conversation with him after the paperwork and maintenance plans are finished.
We knew exactly what we wanted--which model, which trim line, which options, and what color. All other dealerships in western NY tried to sell us cars already on the lot. Steve Schaefer took the time to listen to us, let us know it would be a special order and would take some time. It took us perhaps an hour to get it all set up, including emails back and forth. We got periodic updates from Steve--when it was scheduled to be built, when it was done, when it was loaded on the truck, and of course when it arrived. He never seemed in a rush, and was personable and funny. What prevented giving the dealer 5 stars:1) The very first time we went to the dealership (before we started the serious shopping process), we were completely ignored. We were probably there for 10-15 minutes, poking around the vehicle we wanted, sitting in it, etc, and no one ever approached us.2) The upselling. It took 45 minutes to give the finance guy two checks. Most of that time was spent showing us videos of all the awful things that could go wrong outside of warranty coverage, and trying to sell us optional care plans. (We declined them all.)3) The vehicle walk-through. This took a half an hour, and was too short by at least 30 minutes. Automatic-this, automatic-that, phone syncing, cameras, radar, warning buzzers, alert lights, app system, navigation system, satellite radio, emergency system, seats, mirrors, windows, displays, etc, etc.We recommend the dealership, and especially Steve Schaefer.
We took our Toyota in for some work and got a quote from Luis in service. Our vehicle was ready and the BILL WAS 4 TIMES THE QUOTE. I asked Luis why werent we told because I would not have had the work done. Luis just smirked and said things happen. Well good bye Toyota of Batavia things happen
We have bought 3 new vehicles from Toyota of Batavia. Chris has been our salesman for the last two cars. We made him work hard for the sale and he came thru with flying colors. Chris is now like our friend and we feel confident he will give us a fair deal and work hard to give us the best deal. Chris is honest and will go above and beyond for his customers.
We purchased a new Toyota Tacoma through Stephen Schaefer in Dec. 2016. We were only going to be home for a couple of weeks to make this deal. Stephen worked with us, mostly on-line as we were traveling home and he made that experience very easy. When we did arrive home we did shop around, but found Toyota of Batavia to be our best bet both pricewise and customer service wise. The truck was waiting for us when we arrived home and the price was great. We only had the truck 6 months and someone hit us totaling the truck. We returned to Toyota of Batavia and Stephen was not available so Chris Brown assisted us. Chris was very personable and determined to find the truck with all of our needs. In the meantime Chris made sure we had a loaner vehicle as our new truck was in transit. Upon return visits for servicing both Stephen and Chris always make sure to come over to us and see how things are going.Everyone at Toyota of Batavia is very friendly (not fake friendly). This is our dealership of choice from now on.
Excellent dealership to buy from!I just purchased a Limited Edition Rav4 with low miles at a competitive price through Joe Furlong. The finance manager Peter was also pleasant and helpful to work with. Also, they have a friendly and knowledgable staff. Most of their vehicles seem to go through the 160 point certified check. If youre in a 100 mile radius of this dealership, youll see that they have some of the best prices apples to apples. You should stop by and see for yourself.
Well, a lesson learned. Check the Carfax before making a deal by email and driving 1.5 hours to see the car. Nothing was said about the accident and body work done, but I should have been suspicious when they very quickly accepted my first offers for the vehicle and my trade in. They even had the plates off my car before I returned from the test drive and inspection! To top it off, the manager was defensive and arrogant, and he let me know that they didnt say anything about the accident because I didnt ask, and that most used cars have been in accidents. I find that deceitful. Beware, maybe he was being honest and most of Toyota of Batavias used cars have been in accidents. I wont go there again, but wherever I go, Ill check the Carfax first. Thanks for teaching me a lesson, I guess.
Due to an accident I was under the gun to get a vehicle. After doing extensive research through outWestern NY I came across a car I was interested in. I was contacted by Steve Schaefer. He was extremely helpful and offered to bring the car to my work in Rochester that day to show it to me and take for a short test drive. It made a huge impression!!! Absolutely the best sales experience Ive had buying a car.It as been a stressful week and He went above and beyond to help me. I would highly recommendtaking a look at this dealership
On my last visit for a tire rotation I received a letter from the manager announcing me enthusiastically and flattering qualifying for a new toyota 2017. After patiently waiting in an otherwise elegant and comfortable waiting room with coffee, fruit and water Available finally came someone with a list of issues in my 2014 car that I just bought in December 2016. During the process of explaining what I had to repair immediately or risk my security if I did not, very openly asked me if there was Read the managers invitation to get a new car. It is a bit suspicious and for other irritating and abusive mentally and emotionally this suggestion that it was better to embark on another loan than to repair a car that for others is almost new. It seems to me openly that all those arrangements that they suddenly propose are not so necessary. Rather, they want to sell you another car. The next day I took my car to another place for another review and nothing that had to change immediately came out on that inspection. I do not recommend this place for that reason, it shows a clear dishonesty. I do not have problems in people doing business and earn money, but if in the process I got screw up ... then if I have drawbacks.
Pretty average dealership. Although, relatives of mine had them pick up a car to replace the battery, only to find out they didnt have the battery in stock, so the car had to wait there a couple days until a battery came in. Step one of replacing a battery is to make sure you have the battery before taking the car....
Things have changed for the worse. Covid19 forced personnel changes and the business has become your regular run-of-the-mill, watch-your-back, dealer stereotype. Having leased five vehicles here over the past nine years, we were puzzled by how far and how fast the enterprise has fallen. They just werent interested in our business anymore.
You will not be disappointed by the sales team at Batavia Toyota. These guys go above and beyond to make sure all the details are taken care of! Do yourself a favor and start your search for your vehicle here – you will save yourself a ton of time and money. They make sure you get exactly what you want.

2022-03-14Wow wow wow. Simply the best experience buying a car I have ever had. And I did it all remotely. Sharon there is an absolute gem. She was responsive, transparent, and courteous though the whole process. She even worked quickly and stayed late when the transport carrier showed up unexpectedly a day early. I have dealt with many dealers in the past but this by far was the best experience I have ever had. Stress free, easy. Thank you!!!!

2022-03-19We had been a customer of Toyota Batavias for several years and recently went in to purchase a car for my daughter as well as referring her friend to the dealership. When we got there Leon our salesperson acted as though he couldn’t be bothered. He wasn’t willing to work with us at all. My daughters friend asked to test drive a Toyota Rav 4 Prime that they had come in and Leon told him “no” because they have people come from out of state and they don’t want miles on the vehicles. That’s bad business. Needless to say he lost 4 loyal Toyota customers. I hope it was worth it. Just plain greedy!!!

2022-05-31I leased my vehicle from here 3 years ago and had the best experience ever in a car dealership. However, now that my lease is up and I am planning a lease buyout, it’s been the worst experience EVER! The original salesman is no longer there so when I initially called the dealership back in early May to ask about the buyout process, a salesman by the name of Nico answered the phone and said he would be happy to assist me. We scheduled an appointment . The day beforemy appointment I texted Nico to confirmmy appointment and he advised “yes, I will see you then”. I drive to my appointment only to find that Nico had left for the day. No call, no text, nothing! I drove 40 minutes for absolutely nothing! Another staff person called his cell phone and told him I was there and he said “can you take care of it for me”. Sharon was kind enough to sit with me and take initial information and said she would get back to me with buyout figures. The next day, Nico decides to text me the figures, as if nothing had happened. Eventually he told me I next needed to make an appt to sit down with finance manager and he scheduled an appt for me. I again drive to the dealership for the appt and call the dealership to tell the finance manager that I’m on my way. Anthony then proceeds to tell me he knows nothing of my appointment, can’t help me because he has no paperwork prepared. I tell him what Nico had texted and he said “well I can’t speak for him because he’s not here”. I then asked is this the way you do business here? This is ridiculous. I’ve been here twice so far and both times, it’s been a waste of time and no one cares-with the exception of Sharon who went out of her way to help! I have never experienced such unprofessionalism, lack of organization, and simple uncaring attitude from a business. The best Anthony could do was say he would overnight the documents to me and I would need to overnight them back. No “I’m sorry” No, we will pay for overnighting the documents both ways” - NOTHING!!!! I’m sure the reason behind all this is because there is no money to be made here but what happened to decent customer service???? Never again will I do business here and I think Nico needs some customer service training.

2021-08-28Always a fair deal here. Pasquale Rapone is the Sales Manager and he and the Staff really will go out of their way to find you an affordable Vehicle.
