I didnt purchase a vechicle here but, yesterday when our au pair got into a car accident with our two young sons several people who work at this dealership drove a car down to the scene of the accident so we could sit inside the car to keep the kids warm. They also brought us bottles of water. We truly appreciated these acts of kindness in a terrifying moment in our familys life. Thank you!
Got my new (used) car from here. Easy and the staff is above and beyond. Especially, Scott Puggsley, who knew a ton about the hybrid technology and gave me a ton of information about financial and servicing aspects as well. He is by far the best sales person I came to know. Super experience and outstanding customer service 👌
TERRIBLE experience!At the end of May I purchased a used vehicle from New Country Toyota - they were extremely friendly and helpful initially ...4 months into owning my 2018 vehicle with under 36k miles, I scheduled an oil change and also for my brakes to be assessed since they were making a strange sound.The associate at the service desk mentioned the oil change would be $52 and would get back to me in regards to the brakes after it was viewed by a technician.Long story short - they charged me $98 for the oil change without informing me that it would cost more because they needed a special filter.They quoted me $650 to have my rear brakes replaced because they were completely rusted. After explaining to their service team that I just purchased the vehicle from them and shouldnt have to invest in new brakes 4 months into owning a certified pre-owned vehicle - they offered to cover half the cost of the brakes. Unacceptable.They eventually agreed to replace the brakes at no cost at a later date.I thought that would be the end of it but ...After having my brakes replaced, they told me good news, bad news. We replaced your pads and rotors but your Brake System light is on and your e-brake light is flashing. Those lights werent on when my brakes WERENT working properly but now they are. Crazy, right?They informed me that I had to go to another dealership to have the lights turned off.They gave me a vehicle that in most places would fail inspection and wanted me to go to another dealership which would charge me an assessment fee among other things.After reaching out due to my terrible experience I was told a manager would reach out to me. Its now been 2 weeks and nothing - Ive called and emailed them but continue to be ignored.
Bought my first truck here and they would not work on the price at all. I went back to get a new truck and I was told you need to go through the same person you did last time. Even though they were with another customer. Just seemed like they blew me off and they didnt have very good selection of vehicles.
I had my state inspection done at New Country Toyota. Their personnel are courtous and friendly. Service is prompt and they always go above and beyond. I also had an oil change done. They added washing and vacumming my car at no extra charge. A nice touch that I always appreciate.
I was received with expediency and there were no surprises which makes my day! Michelle was terrific, and overall the service experience was a great one... again. Purchased a 21 4runner, Love the SUV no complaints as of only owning it for a little over a month now. But when it comes to sales its a joke. I was suppose to recieve a rebate for being Military and havent received it. Ive been after Mike Raucci about it and my sales person. Ive been told that they will cut me a check but here it is almost a month later. Some way of treating a Veteran. I wouldnt recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle there.
Love the Toyota Tacoma purchased from here, sale process was fine no better or worse than most . Service dept is another story, dishonest and poorly trained service reps are the norm. They also seem to like to close early on Saturday so beware or your vehicle might get forgotten about. Buy here maybe, service here never.

Couldnt be more pleased with my experience purchasing a new Rav4. Ron McNeil on the sales team listened to my vehicle specs, provided enough information for me to make an informed decision, without my feeling pressured, and gave me a good price on my new car as well as my trade. He made the process seamless, from initial questions, to negotiation, purchase and delivery. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this dealership and would definitely return.
Staff excellent and service good. Lovely lounge area if you have a long wait (I did). Free water and coffee/tea. Clean bathrooms.Almost none of the customers wore their their masks correctly or at all. There were signs that said that masks were required, but it wasnt taken seriously or enforced.Didnt feel as safe as a result. Toyota of Clifton Park, you would have had 5 stars otherwise
My husband, Rob and I walked in without an appointment and were greeted by Suzy who graciously offered her undivided attention, even though she was waiting for a pending appointment! We will highly recommend Suzy and Bob (who was knowledgeable, thorough, and friendly) Suzy made sure we got what we wanted, and Bob went to bat for us both with our finances and our security. My feelings on Toyota of Clifton Park is good to Excellent. Made an appointment to have a Re-call done and to talk over a possible down size from a Tacoma to a Rav-4. The Re-call was done and we also found out about a Rav-4. We were treated with Respect and Dignity. We left with a positive attitude and a Order for a New Rav-4. In fact the Rav-4 is going to work out for us better us in the long Run. So in the long Run it would be a good place to do business. In 2months or so we will have a New Rav-4. I would recommend checking out this Dealer as they work with you. There service Center is to me one of the best in the Area.
A great place to purchase a vehicle. Ive purchase (4) four automobiles from Toyota of Clifton Park. 2008 Tundra, 2009 Matrix, 2017 Tundra and just recently purchased a 2021 Tundra. Great service, great competitive pricing. Its why I keep coming back. My life has been in hell after purchasing the extended warranty from this place. Had to go through a lawyer to cancel the warranty that I didn’t want.They are not very good in communicating with their customers. It was difficult to reach the guy who sold me the warranty, but he apologized after one month. I forgave him. I had to contact Toyota myself to cancel the warranty. It took a lot of headaches.

I had been looking for a pre-owned Tundra for about 5 weeks before I found the right one, which fortunately for me, was here at New Country Toyota in Clifton Park. After test driving it I felt it was the one I wanted but I had a few reservations, which my salesman Don Rougia assured me would be taken care of before I picked it up. My wife and I felt extremely comfortable there because there was no sales pressure whatsoever. When we picked it up the following week, it exceeded our expectations. Everything they promised was taken care of, and working with Don felt like I was buying it from an old buddy. The rest of the staff were great too. Highly recommended!
This is my second vehicle purchased here through Nichole Gorsky. Both times were great experiences, the second purchase was after devastatingly totaling my previous car during a pandemic, while pregnant. Nichole and the rest of the team made the process very simple and as contact-less as possible, while I purchased the car from out of state! Will definitely work with them again!
For several months, I was in the market to buy a red Camry TRD. So when this specific car was listed in their inventory, I knew I had to jump the gun and contact them as soon as possible. Unfortunately, I was 3 hours from this dealership which meant I couldnt conventionally negotiate pricing. Fortunately, Farhad from this dealership went above and beyond to make this transaction as stressless and painless as possible. I inquired on a Tuesday and by Saturday, I was driving the car. Farhad was very transparent with me and walked me through the entire process without coercing me to make decisions that were out of my reach. As a matter of fact, even the financial manager Josh was very respectful of my decisions and did not pressure me to purchase anything that I didn’t want. Both Farhad and Josh made an incredible team and did not surprise me with extraneous payments that other dealerships often do. I came in paying the dollar amount that I was expecting to pay, no hassles no questions asked. I would highly recommend this dealership and especially Farhad.

Last week I went with my fiancé and our 1.5 year old to purchase 2 cars. We’ve been in contact with Michael Raucci for over a month because we live 3 hours away. I have to say I had many, many car buying and repair services in my lifetime. Toyota of Clifton Park far surpasses anything I have experienced in the past. They are kind, knowledgeable, efficient, and caring. The manager, Michael Raucci is amazing. He is one of the most caring, honest person I have ever dealt with. I told him what I wanted, and he found it and took care of everything for me. I was so comfortable. When I buy a new car again, I will definitely be going back to him. I went into Toyota with low hope as a single mother with not great credit but a friend of mine had suggested going to see Don Rougia because he had been so helpful with their purchases. Ill say very honestly that Don and his General Manager Michael Raucci are amazing! They made me feel very comfortable and Don was great with my questions and concerns. He managed to get me into the vehicle I wanted really quickly! Less than a week from the day we met to the day I drove my new Rav 4 off the lot. He took car off everything from paperwork, to switching my insurance, down to ensuring that I had all weather floor mats to protect the carpet. I would absolutely recommend that anyone interested goes in and speaks to him.

My DAD could no longer drive his Toyota Highlander a few years back due to ALZ. My daughter was gifted it with one key which went missing Mr Raucci comped me a key after I had it towed there and and went to service to pay for it was comped .What a super nice guy and a class act. The Service dept. is overwhelmed, they fight with each other, they don’t answer their phone, and they’re as rude as a vicious dog on the phone when you finally get through ! They’re a rip off! Sooo expensive … I will never go back here again ! Will have to find another toyota dealership for service ….

Best dealership experience ever! I drove out to the dealership from MD to pick up my new 2020 Supra LE. I worked with Scott through the whole process. He is very easy to work with and straight forward. There is no stereotypical salesman gimmicks. As soon as I put the deposit down on the car, they drafted up a purchase order with all the breakdown and the final price of the vehicle. Most importantly, unlike all the other dealerships, they sold me their only 2020 Supra LE allocation at MSRP!! Robbie, the Finance Manger, is great! He got me a great rate with Toyota Financials! I have nothing but great things to say about them and their whole staff. Everyone went out of their way to help me load the car onto the trailer so I could haul it back to MD. Although it was a 6 hr drive to the dealership, it was well worth the drive! It was a smooth easy process from start to finish. I have never had a completely satisfied dealership experience until New Country Toyota of Clifton Park. I will buy all my future Toyotas from them.

After the test drive, he did an excellent job presenting the numbers--he never pushed me. Very Good place to buy a Toyota car. I tried to buy a car with other dealers too but the response was very poor. But here The response is very good and the price is competitive. Particularly I worked with Don Rougia and he is awesome. The process was very simple and everything was taken care by them nicely.
Very unpleasant experience. Ive been trying to convince my wife to look at new cars for the past 6 months but shes been concerned to test-drive due to the pandemic. She found the exact car she was looking for here at a rate that we were comfortable with. We reached out about their covid polices to ensure safety measures were being implemented for test drives, which we felt were favorable. She emailed her interest in this specific vehicle and this specific vehicle only and scheduled an appointment to test drive this vehicle. We live about 45 mins away and she made the trip to test-drive this vehicle to be met by the salesman trying to upsell her, or so we thought. Turns out the vehicle we were interested in, the only vehicle that we were interested in (which we specifically stated) was sold that morning. She was not told until the end of the appointment that this was the case. So she drove 45 mins to look at cars she was not interested in buying during a pandemic. I get were all trying to make a buck and support our families, but the negligence to not inform us that the vehicle we were interested had sold that morning is wrong on so many levels, especially during a pandemic. We will be taking our business elsewhere. As quality customer service starts with honesty.

They were quick and attentive. I made an appointment to see a specific vehicle and they did not mention prior to me schlepping up there, it had 3,000 miles on it (driven by an employee) then they tried to sell me that car for MSRP. The trade in value the offered was $3,600 less than I got from Carvana. No thanks, disappointing experience.
Sooooooook much better than the Saratoga/Wilton branch. Honestly, I cant believe its the same company! From buying a car to having them serviced , you cant go wrong here. Not pushy, polite and willing to work with you through the process, which isnt always the case at some dealerships. Anyways, if youre in the market for a Toyota, then Id recommend going here.
I recently had my vehicle repaired in the body shop, and the Manager, Andrew, went above and beyond to make the process easy! He arranged a rental car for me (they were there to pick me up when I arrived!), worked directly with the insurance company, and had my car done in two days! It was so CLEAN when I picked it up, it looked like a new car! Truly EXCEPTIONAL service! On a side note, the service staff, technicians, and the sales teams are awesome as well! Best dealership around!
I have purchased Two Trucks now the lattes is a 2019 but it’s not just about the Toyota brand which is outstanding it’s about the New Country Service personal this is an outstanding team! You have your own personal contact person, you have flexibility.My contact was on the ball noticing that my inspection was over due. Efficient and concerned staff. I had a regular oil change and service done plus wiper blades and some questions . I was greeted inside the garage(nice in the winter months), went inside and was registered with all questions answered.Comfortable seating. Coffee, donuts, water and TV in a comfortable setting were the waiting room conditions. I appreciated that. I also could have gotten a shuttle to work or home. In other dealerships over the years, the wait was way too long. At this facility I was out in a short period. Good people to work with.
I would give New Country 10 stars if I could. I returned to Don Rougia for the purchase of my 2020 Supra after dealing with him last year on my preowned Ram 1500. Don, and the rest of the team at this dealership are a real class act. Friendly yet professional, no B.S., helpful, accommodating. Both times were a fantastic and efficient experience, and they did what they could to make the process as convenient for me as possible. If youre in the market for a new/used Toyota or other brand used, dont hesitate to give New Country a chance.
I just love Toyota of Clifton Park. The staff is really friendly and courteous. My sales/lease consultant Don Rougia always goes that extra mile to get me the best deal possible on my leases and the General Manager Michael Raucci is simply the best!!! I am on my 3rd car lease with New Country Toyota of Clifton Park and would never go to any other dealership to get a new car. I dropped off my car for an inspection and general maintenance appointment. My car was done quickly and within the 3-hour deadline I had requested. Upon pickup, I appreciated the thorough summary that the cashier gave me. He was honest and knowledgeable about my concerns. Kudos to all!
I couldnt ask for a better salesperson then Nichole Gorsky!!! While I waited for my new RAV4 Prime to arrive she kept me constantly in the loop to its arrival. She was always available via her personal cell phone, even on the weekends! This was my second purchase from her and I hope to buy my next Toyota from her also. Farhad Muradi is the best salesman I have dealt with. He provided me with excellent customer service and went through the car buying process with me step by step. Any questions I had he answered, I could text him and he would answer me in a timely manner. Mind you I am someone that takes a long time to make a decision especially when it comes to buying a car and he was patient with me throughout the whole way. He fought to get the best price for me on the car as if I was his family. The way he looked out for me and the transparency he provided made the car buying process more comfortable and helped build a trust which is hard to find in this business. I went to have service done-oil change etc, but there was a good size screw in my tire. On my way there I notice the light fore air pressure was on. I thought how come I needed air soon because I had put air in a week ago and I have not been driving much. They took the screw out and plugged the tire. I was touched by the care they provided. Went in to New Country Toyota looking to test drive a specific RAV4; walked out with the purchase process started! Our agent Don Rougia was knowledgeable and friendly and I didnt feel pressured at any point. Because of COVID precautions we ultimately did much of the purchase process over the phone, so I only had to spend 30 minutes at the location on two days, which was greatly appreciated.

If I could have given zero stars I wouldve. My wife had a recall on her 2012 Toyota Sienna for the sliding doors. I had called the service department to schedule an appointment with a loaner vehicle. Was told they would call me back with a date for an appointment. Never received a call back, so I called 2 weeks later and spoke to a very friendly and helpful service adviser who scheduled an appointment 3-4 weeks out WITH a loaner vehicle. She stated I would receive some kind of confirmation 2-3 days before the appointment, received nothing. So i called the day before and asked if everything was all set with the appointment and loaner vehicle, the service adviser at that time said We dont have you set up with a loaner vehicle. I explained this is why we booked this appointment out so far in advance to have a loaner vehicle. He stated Dont worry I will personally make sure when she drops the car off at 9:30, she will have a loaner. So my wife goes to the dealership the next day to drop the car off and get her loaner vehicle and they told her we dont have any. I spoke to Ray the service manager and all he had to say was all I can offer you is an apology and that loaner vehicles are just a courtesy to our customers not a promise. I explained you can go back and listen to the recorded conversation the day prior and he said he didnt have any time to. The customer service and integrity of this place is awful. I am NEVER going to buy another car or service a car from this place again. LIA TOYOTA in Colonie was a lot more helpful and friendlier to deal with!
My initial visit to New Country Toyota of Clifton Park was not satisfactory. The following day I submitted my concern to the dealership and to Toyota. I was quite surprised to promptly receive a personal phone call from the General Manager. He wanted to personally apologize for my experience and felt it was important enough not to wait until the next business day. He asked me for the opportunity for him to make it right. I respected the fact that he called me directly but respected even more that he didn’t make any effort to point out any misunderstandings but instead to emphasize that if I wasn’t happy then they could have done better, and would continue to work to do so. Over the course of the next couple days, he and the sales manager messaged me directly with options that included the option for a custom build and they presented without any effort on my part what I consider to have been a very fair price quote. Today I went back to the dealership to take them up on their offer. We signed the deal on exactly what I wanted, they honored their price without any sales tactics, they also gave me a fair and competitive offer for my old vehicle. The General Manager met with me directly and thanked me for giving them a second chance. The General Manager and Sales Manager didn’t just hold true to their words, they exceeded them. They managed to turn an unhappy customer into probably a lifelong customer. They actually managed to put the pressure back on to Toyota… I can only hope my new Toyota truck exceeds my expectations as much as New Country Toyota of Clifton Park.
My wife and I just picked up our new Highlander today. Its gorgeous in Blizzard Pearl and were extremely satisfied. Dave Saunders was our salesperson and he was absolutely fantastic to work with. The best buying experience we have ever had hands down! Important to note we are seasoned car buyers so we have many lease/purchase experiences to compare this one to. We visited 4 other local dealerships in the last week and met a range of styles from apathetic to agressive and, yes, even rude. Dave is knowledgeable, attentive, respectful, kind, and patient. First time buying a new car and I was stressed about being told I should get the bigger & better by some shiny haired car salesman. Arrived there and was greeted by Mike Raucci. It felt like I was Aladdin with a personal genie. I told him the car I was looking at and he asked Suzy to bring it over so I can test drive. SUZY (the platinum haired beauty❤) was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING throughout the WHOLE PROCESS! She didnt try to talk me into an SUV once she found out I prefer sedans. She made me feel like we are family and looked out for me. I thought it would be a tedious thing but she made it SO EASY that if I had the money to buy a car every weekend, I would do it but only if shes the one selling it to me. Went the next day to get the financial end done and Bob (their finance guy) was great! While in his office, Mike (the gm) came by and talked to us a bit and also let us know that theres pizza in the breakroom available if were hungry. A new car AND food? I walked into the dealership beyond nervous and shaking about buying a new car. When i walked in they truly make you feel at home and comfortable. I was well taken care of by Mike Raucci and one of the sweetest men I’ve met. He later introduced me to Susanna Carusone who i was just met to work with. She was absolutely amazing and so sweet right at the start and we just clicked from then on. Susanna understood me and everything i was wanting and looking for she made it happen while making me feel more and more comfortable with conversation. I live in Selkirk and I drive 45 minutes to have my car serviced at New Country Toyota because I really like the technicians and staff there better than all the other dealers. I dont ever feel like they are trying to take advantage of me because I am a woman. They are both friendly and knowledgeable. If I ask them a question, they are always able to give me an answer.
I will amend this a bit -- they are trying to make this right. It remains to be seen.......will update accordingly. Terrible place to do business. Bought a low-mileage used truck with a PLATINUM extended warranty. 29 days in, tail pipe falls off. Call for service, was told they had no loaner vehicles but wed be reimbursed for rental, if we used Enterprise. Truck in shop for 2 1/2 days, nothing done about the pipe. Is not covered under either the 30 day warranty period from date of sale OR the Extended Warranty. Now I have to submit the rental bill to Toyota direct -- who wants to bet that gets rejected as well. Awful service department, non-responsive salesman. Was going to purchase another vehicle here, but not now.

I purchased a car at the beginning of June and the experience with Ron was phenomenal. He was incredibly patient with my dad who speaks very little English and it meant the world to me. Also Rob was wonderful ensuring that we had all of the details in going ahead to make the most informed decision. I went back to the service area shortly after purchasing and it was a breeze. From the minute they picked up the phone they were nothing but friendly and helpful. They beat the promised return time by almost 5 hours. I highly recommend!
Disappointing. Went in to the dealership, and no one seemed to care. I had to find someone randomly for service - Mario. Maybe he was having a bad day, but he didnt seem interested at all in selling me a car. He barely said a word, really wasnt friendly. During the test drive it was plain silence. No info about the car, nothing. The only thing he made clear right from the beginning is that the price would only come down in an order of hundreds, not thousands. So, he dug the heels of the dealership in deep, right from the start.Maybe he didnt think I was a serious buyer, and if so, he was dead wrong. I went over to Lia Toyota, which had a much bigger selection, better starting prices, and frankly, a much more personal sales rep, and later bought a car in cash that day.I dont know whether my experience is typical at New Country - hopefully not. It was nice to see their display with a bunch of awards and thank yous from the community, so it looks like they do a lot of philanthropy.
Buying the truck was a great experience. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable.When my truck was in the dealer body shop for repairs, I had asked the mechanic for an estimate for additional damage I had to my truck. I was told I would be sent the estimate by the end of the day. He called several weeks later to tell me my truck was repaired and ready to pick up. I asked him if he had the estimate and he said he had not completed it yet, but it would be ready by the time I picked up my truck. I went to pick up my truck - and they did a great job with the repairs my truck was there for! I asked if he had a chance to do an estimate for the additional damage and he said he had been very busy and had not. I was told I would have the estimate by the end of the day. I never received the estimate.Several days ago, I called the service department to schedule the regular service and get the estimate for the additional damage to my truck. I left a voice message and did not receive a call back. I called back several days later and left another message. I still have not received a call back.Although the process of buying the truck was a great experience, the last few months have left me incredibly frustrated and I don’t think I’ll be going back.P.S: I called Cole’s Collision for the estimate and they told me I could come in that day. I showed up a half hour later. They did the estimate immediately and I was out of there in 10 minutes with the estimate in hand.

My wife and I were buying a 2020 Toyota Prius Prime XLE. While I dont like buying new cars and working with dealers we were very surprised by Toyota of Clifton Park. I have a set method when I buy a new car. Research is important, both of the vehicle and the dealers. The Prius Prime was an easy choice as weve owned four Prii (the Toyota site plural for Prius) and traded our first one at 289,000 miles. My shopping method takes time but works well. This way we get the best deal and I get to meet and evaluate many dealerships. I visited all the Toyota dealers in the Capital District including Vermont and Western Massachusetts. I am upfront and honest with the dealers stating the exact model, color, and options I want, and I ask them for their best price. Then I go to the next dealer and do the same. As I told the dealerships, Ill drive 100 miles to save 100 dollars. Long story short, after five days we bought from Toyota of Clifton Park. They were the best combination of price and dealership. We worked with Scott Pugsley and were very pleased from start to finish. No pressure, very pleasant and professional. Scott was also a Prius Prime expert and this made the deal very smooth. We had a 2007 Prius level 2 for a trade combined with a down payment. The decision to buy from Scott and Toyota of Clifton Park was made on the second visit. The purchase process also went smoothly. All the paperwork was ready and waiting. We closed the deal with Rob Albreada, the Business Manager. He was polite when offering additional coverage and warranties, and was not pushy when we declined. We also met with the Sales Manager at our request to compliment him on our buying experience. Finally, we met with General Manager Michael Raucci and congratulated him on his dealership and staff. We would recommend Scott and Toyota of Clifton Park to anyone looking for the best combination of price and sales experience when buying a Toyota. Well done, and thank you.

Leased my first Corolla here. They were quite helpful in understanding that if you are earning well but do not have perfect credit at the time - they will trust you and get you in. I was overwhelmed by the lease options but New Country Toyota made it easy for me. Only downside I think is that I couldnt bargain much for the monthly amount - but it still turned out to be a good deal. I also did my 2 year complementary car service here as well as their Saratoga location and its been a great experience!
I originally went to Romano just to shop around, but had such positive experience, that I wound up purchasing from them! When I walked in the door I was pleasantly surprised that I was not ignored, but was welcomed and offered assistance by about 3 people before being directed to the person I was to ultimately see! The salesman I dealt with was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and was very responsive to my preferences. We struck upon a very reasonable deal, and my purchase was accomplished very smoothly! Unfortunately, I discovered a small problem with the car shortly after I picked it up, but was able to have the issue remedied with the amiable help of the service department. Everyone I have come in contact with during my association with Romano Toyota has been very friendly and accommodating! I highly recommend this dealership!
I cannot say enough good things about New Country Toyota of Clifton Park. We all know that car shopping is a daunting, dreadful task. By the time I had spotted a vehicle I was interested in, on their website, I had been through it all--the lengthy pitches, the unrelenting, over-aggressive sales people whod call my phone repeatedly, you name it...My initial communication was with Farhad. I had e-mailed him after seeing countless reviews highlighting his gentle approach. He was extremely helpful and efficient. Unfortunately, Farhad was going to be off on the day we were able to visit the dealership. He assured us that this wasnt a problem and gave me the contact information for Guenter, who saw us through the remainder of our experience.We live a distance from the dealership and brought our 2 year old with us on the initial visit--we gave the dealership a rough estimate of when we would arrive, but hardly stuck to its parameters. Nevertheless, Guenter greeted us upon arrival, was prepared with the van cleaned off and sitting out front--the keys on his desk and waiting for us. We loved the low-key approach that allowed us to take the vehicle for a test drive without a sales rep impeding on the experience. It gave us the time to switch drivers and openly talk about what we liked about the vehicle, our budget and how we were going to approach things when we got back to the dealership. To put it simply, it took away a lot of the pressure and awkwardness.After arriving back at the dealership, Guenter sat down with us to discuss our budgets, our wants and our needs. We were never made to feel outlandish for ensuring that we adhered to our own financial expectations/budget. Guenter and his team were willing to work the numbers however possible to ensure that we could get that van if we wanted it. The entire sales team was courteous and patient, even as our two year old got rowdy at times. The overall vibe at the dealership is welcoming, family oriented, down-to-earth and accommodating. We knew we wanted this place to have our sale.There were a few, minor flaws on the vehicle we were eyeing. A small flap in the back had somehow been removed and we were told that it was about a $700 fix. When I told Guenter it bothered me enough to want it replaced, there were no further questions asked--he said itd be taken care of. All of our questions were answered thoroughly and we were made to feel like they would go above and beyond to make sure we were incredibly happy with our purchase. We put an offer on the table and New Country Toyota stopped at nothing to deliver.We came home and reviewed our financing options with both Bob and Guenter throughout the week. My communication with both was met with incredible efficiency and Guenter even came into work on his off day to handle some of the additional components of the transaction. When all was said and done, we were able to come up with numbers that we were entirely comfortable with and seal the deal. We returned to New Country Toyota this past weekend and picked up our new-to-us Toyota Sienna XLE. It is GORGEOUS. And let me tell you, their detailing team is ON POINT. The car was spotless upon receipt. The additional rubber mats that I had requested were in the car as well--a sweet little bonus!We later sat down with Bob and decided to purchase the Toyota Premium Protection Plan which will cover the van for 5 years/60k miles. Bob talked us through all of our options and helped us make the best decision for our family, while remaining sensitive to our familys budget. For the first time ever, I left a car dealership feeling completely confident and thrilled with my experience!I, wholeheartedly, recommend New Country Toyota to anyone who is looking for a soft, non-aggressive approach to purchasing a beautiful vehicle. I didnt like the phone customer service. I would rate that 3 stars. I called to schedule a recall repair and the lady made it seem like I was a burden because I wasnt going to spend money. On the other note, the service team was very professional and polite, 5+ stars. They made the necessary repairs and beat the deadline set for me. The wait was very nice with access to hot beverages, donuts, fruit, water, television, comfortable chairs, a children play area and more. Overall, I will come here again for repairs and possibly even a new vehicle when its time for a new one!

I bought a used Highlander, deal was done, paperwork was all signed... but a few weeks later they called me to come back in because they reviewed my file again and wanted to lower my interest rate and monthly payments. The deal was already done, they didnt have to do that, but they did. Mike Raucci and staff truly care about my experience, Im definitely going back for my next vehicle.
Great place to get a New or used vehicle. Every option is explored and the time is taken for you. You are not hurried and everything is put on the table in front of you on which way to take. I highly recommend New County Toyota as one (1) of the best in the Tri-City area. We will be going Back very shorty.
I really like this dealership, they will do everything in their power to get you in the vehicle you like and if it’s a problem they will look for a solution. The only complaint I have that really isn’t a complaint is that if you want a specific trim level tell them before you do anything. I only told them the vehicle I wanted and they put me in the base model that I love but just a heads up. Other then that service so far has been good and so is everyone that works there.
Disappointed...The service people are not helpful. I had a very bad experience with my used 2012 rav4 that i bought from them. I was never told that the windshield had a brick chip and i did not notice it the same moment but on my way from the dealer after i pickup it i noticed the chip. I immediately text the sale person about it. I was then referred to the service dept which is the worse dept. The service dept was very rude said they cannot do anything about that and i will have to pay to fix it. I am very disappointed with their service. I am now stuck with this bad windshield.

Salesman told me whatever he thought I wanted to hear to make the sale. When it came time for vehicle pickup nothing he promised was done. I had to get the manager involved. I had to bring the vehicle back once a week for first 4 weeks for them to fix problems. 3 times for the same problem. Maybe other salesmen are better but I would definitely not deal with Don ever again. I dont feel like they value my time.
I bought my Toyota from Latham, but go here because it is closer to home. I used the shuttle service and was pleased with this convenience. For a dealership I find it ok. Overpriced is expected. But there are no extras here. My husband has a Honda and everytime he brings his car in they wash it. My mom has a Jeep Cherokee and they hire someone to give manicures and massages while the customers wait. Service is expected to be beyond exceptional at a dealership. New Country offers nothing to make me want to go here.
Finally, a car dealership and service department that is easy going, and honest (I have yet to bring one of our vehicles there and be told we need a bunch of unnecessary repairs). After getting very frustrated with the games being played by two other area Toyota dealers, I finally took the advice of friends and came here. What a difference. Ive never understood why buying a car had to be such a painful process. And, finally, with New Country Toyota, I realized it can be easy and non-contentious.
I took my 2015 Corolla here for a tire rotation and oil change at 50,000 miles (1st time visiting, usually go to Northway in Latham). I was told that the rear drum brakes were within 5,000 miles of needing to be replaced (the 50K is all highway) and that an adjustment and cleaning would extend the life, for $70. Silly me, I believed them because why would they lie? Took the car to my father whos been replacing his own brakes forever, and found that the rear drums are still in great condition, and also they didnt look like they had been cleaned, had brake dust all over. I also compared my last service sheet from my 40,000 mile visit and was told at that time I had plenty of life in the brakes, and that they were at 3-4 mm (in the green zone) consistent with previous visits. 40-50K was a bunch more highway miles, and my driving style certainly hasnt drastically changed in that period. I called to speak with the service manger to ask what exactly I paid $70 for and to discuss, twice, and never heard back from anyone. I was pleasant both times, no attitude, tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and gave him over a week to return my calls. Getting sick of dealerships thinking they can rip people off with no consequence. Given the silent treatment, I think they saw 50K miles and a young woman who looked like she knew nothing about cars, and padded my bill. Plain and simple.

The best decision we made was to become associated with the business dealership of Toyota of Clifton Park. The entire service dept. Reps especially Lisa are outstanding in performing their job and go well beyond to make a clients experience gratifying. Above all they actually KNOW their jobs and their performance accuracy is so difficult to find in todays business environment. Awesome!!
Really professional and helpful staff. I was sold my first ever car, a used Honda Civic by Farhad Muradi and Bob Antonelli . They did a really wonderful job in getting a fair finance deal and the whole experience was great. Farhad did a lot to make sure everything went perfectly and walked me through the process well and got me a good deal on the car. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to buy a car.
If there is zero star, I will give them with no hesitation. I had a really bad service experience there. The attitude of the assistant service Manager Liza Milo was very bad. She explained the result to me, but it is to professional. I wanted her explain it to my husband over the phone. She kept saying she had more customs waiting for her, she does not have time. The problem is that there was no one at all in the front desk who is waiting for her. Whats more, the people work in the front desk, when they heard you plan to buy a new car from them, they will be very nice to you. If you drive a poor car there and wont buy a new car there, they change their face so quickly, even do not want to speak with you one more word.
This place used to be good for service, but honestly they will take you for a ride and soak as much out of you for a visit as they can. Each time Ive been in for service the past couple of years, the wait time is outrageous, I usually plan to be there between 2 and 3 hours every time for things like an oil change and mounting all season tires. I havent had any recent issues with the service itself when the car is finished, however they will attempt to do work that isnt necessary and charge you outrageous amounts for parts and labor; so if you arent car savvy or know the breakdown in pricing or what is overpriced for parts then they will gouge you, and make you sit there another hour on top of it. If you need a simple inspection this place is fine as long as you can leave your car or have time to wait, but if you need work done on your vehicle youre better off double checking pricing else where or looking up parts prices on your own. Just an example they attempted to charge me nearly $500.00 for front brake pads and rotors between the parts and labor, and when I took it to a separate mechanic I know and bought top notch parta myself it was $120.00. Just watch your bill if you decide to go here, it can run up to hundreds or thousands of dollars real quick.
I went into the dealership letting them know first off that credit was not good. Test drive a used minivan on Saturday afternoon and was told I would have an answer on Monday. 3 times I had to call because my salesman (Kevin Rivers) nevered me back. Finally he told me it was denied but that the general manager was going to call toyota and see what he can work out. I asked what the reasonings for the denials were and he said he didnt know and would ask a boss and commented that if I had excellant credit I would already be in a van. I was told he would call me back, once again no call back! I called back tuesday evening asking for a manager because I want to know what is needed to move the loan through (cosigner, more money down etc.) I was told a finance manager would call me back asap. Here we are wednesday afternoon and I have yet to get a call back. Very disappointing and unprofessional in my opinion.
I trust this place with all my car needs and know they will service my car right. They have friendly staff and service and Andrew at the body shop does amazing work! The only thing I would say is they are little overpriced for some of the parts on the vehicle but that’s because they use OEM parts on all their stuff. one of my speakers went out in the car and they wanted to charge me around $800.00 for the speaker replacement and harness. Looked online and on Toyota’s website and it cost much less for all of it. When I asked about possible discounts or payment plans, I was told someone would reach out to the manager and get back to me. No one ever did and I called twice. Still haven’t heard back in regards to it. I also recently got an inspection done for NYS and they were supposed to do the 45k service, that was not completed so I have to go back.
Called 40 min ahead to have a friend test drive a certified car. When we got there we learned it hadnt been cleaned yet. It was super filthy. Maybe they shouldnt post cars for sale until they clean them. Disgusting in these covid 19 times. I assumed when I called it was cleaned already.
Just don’t order an extra key at Clifton Park Toyota. It’s literary half the price at an auto locksmith and they get it to you much quicker. Many auto locksmiths will come to you so you don’t have to pay for a tow to the dealer. I’m so glad I researched this when I lost my keys. It saved me hundreds of dollars and I was on the road within 3 hours of my initial call.
Went to Clifton Park Toyota after visiting several other Toyota dealerships in the area in my pursuit of purchasing a new 2014 Toyota highlander. I had my information and expectations all in order and could not believe the games the other dealers play! The sales staff and everyone at Clifton Park Toyota are great! You are treated with respect and within an hour the deal was consumated. Of any dealership i have dealt with in a very long time, Clifton Park Toyota stands heads above any of them! Great deal, great people! 02/27/15 Just an update, got rear ended by a woman at a red light and the Body shop at the dealer made the repairs to my highlander and did a n AWESOME job! Would never have known it was hit and had the car back in less than a week. This dealership is without fault.
My salesperson Ron was fine. The Business Manager used high pressure and scare tactics to try and sell an extended warranty that I told him multiple times I didnt want. I also asked for a total including ALL fees beforehand and the business manager give me a number that didnt include dmv fees. The next time I buy a new car, its probably going to be from a different dealership.
Awesome experience here. We visited the other Toyota dealerships in the Capital Region and no one beat New Countrys deal, attitude, customer service, etc. We would highly recommend to friends, family and especially thank salesman Carl B. and business manager Chris. What a wonderful experience and vehicle!
They charged me $160 for a quote on work that I told them needed done. When I asked why it cost so much for them to tell me what I already knew I needed they threatened to keep my car. Even after paying that amount Im saving $600 by taking it somewhere else that provided a free quote.
I took my truck to New Country Toyota because my tire light wouldnt go out.They found the problem and I will return my truck on Tuesday 08/09/2016 to have a new sensor put it.Not anything bad but I find the service people at Lia to be much more friendlier than at New Country.But service was excellence.
I usually HATE car shopping. Too many times, I have dealt with aggressive sales people who dont even pretend to respect me or my wants in a car. But when my wife and I stopped in to look at a car on a whim, we were paired up with Scott Pugsley. Scott was friendly and not at all pushy. We originally were looking at a 2012 Rav 4: not the flashiest or priciest car on the lot. But where most salespeople would balk at it, or try to push a nicer, more expensive car, Scott was more than happy to show it to us. We ended up going with a newer Rav 4 and Scott worked with us to make sure it was the car we wanted in a price we were comfortable with. After chatting about what we were looking for with the car, Scott offered crossbars for the roof rack, new tires, new brakes, and rubber floor mats to help the car fit our lifestyle.When we came to pick up the car 3 days later, she was sitting inside the dealership waiting for us all shiny and ready to go. They even filled up the tank!We are definitely making the trip from Vermont to purchase our next vehicle.
Amazing service helping me plug and patch a tire the day after Labor day when Firestone was only interested in a complete replacement.Toyota pleasantly took my car in at 8am the next day and did a patch and plug for $50 bucks after tax. Rockin, I can do that rather then get a new pair of tires haha. Over all, avoid Firestone, they dont seem to have the professionalism or effort to actually fix the problem, just cut corners and charge you more. Toyota is awesome.
Overall I am pleased with the car. But a couple of instances have left me with a sour taste. 1) On the test drive we noticed some alignment issues and one of the agreed upon conditions was that the service department perform an alignment. After we picked up the vehicle and were told the alignment was performed, it still had the same issues, which we were told would always exist. Its now been a year and we had an independent alignment performed and the issues went away. 2) I tried on four different occasions to contact a representative from from finance, leaving voice mails and sending emails about a protection plan we purchased and still had to wait before hearing back. Hopefully this is an isolated incident.
I recently bought a 2017 Civic EX-T. I went in knowing exactly what I wanted and was able to test drive the Civic within minutes. This was my first new car and they made the whole process extremely understandable and painless. They went in depth when it came to paperwork and never declined a question or gave a half-assed answer. They provided the CarFax and all the information I requested on the car. I even had the pleasure of meeting the General Manager. I’m excited to continue my business through them when the time for a new car comes.

He followed up with a phone call after I had my Rav4 for a few days to ask me how I liked it and if there was anything else he could do or help me with. I spent almost $80.000 on a Land Cruiser and had some issues. Was told by the General manager in person that he would take of my problems, I dropped it off and thought they were going to do what the general manager promised me, only to pick it up and the work was refused by the service manager. Wasted my time and was lied to by the general manager. I left numerous messages and no one ever gets back to you. So I’m not happy. They have my money and it’s all they care about in my eyes. Buyer beware......
Very nice place to do business. The wait for service is made a lot easier by friendly, patient staff- and a variety of coffees, teas, and donuts. I have purchased two vehicles there, and both were a pleasure. I have had a consistently good customer service experience there.
8 DAYS in the “service” department. Our 5 month old car had an oil leak that started after we took the car home from their body shop. Had to take the car in twice for the leak. On a Monday we were promised the car in 2-3 days...no update so called and told 1 more day...no update so called again left a message and not even the courtesy of a call back...Sat. they promised Monday...Monday passed and the car wasn’t done. Never got the car until Tuesday! When we picked it up about 11:00 am there wasn’t anyone to talk to about the work they did as they were out to lunch. They had to drop the engine out of a new car, kept the car for 8 DAYS and there is no “service” advisor to talk to???!!!!
BUYER BEWARE - Frustrated For SureI brought my Prius V in for a recall item and was over charged for the parts that were installed. These are the words from Toyota care & Toyota Finance, they were not quite sure why I was charged for everything that was done. I was asked if I wanted an oil change in the process, I told them that I would bring it somewhere else and have it done. I paid the excessive bill and drove it home. I called the service counter and told them the service engine light was on and they told me it had to reset itself and that it was fine. Shortly after getting it home, the car stopped running again and I had to have it towed back in again. I was told by their service department that I ran it out of oil and now have a blown engine. They pulled the oil plug and there wasn’t a drop of oil in it. They were to only people that had it. The Prius V has just over 90,000 miles on it, Ive had it for 3 1/2 years at this point, and I still owe $13,500. The only thing that makes sense it that the car was prepped, oil drained thinking they had a sale, and they never filled it back up. I was given a car back with no oil in it, I have a $13K boat anchor that Toyota will not stand behind sitting in my front yard since last year. I was called, told my paperwork and keys are on the front seat, get it off their property, or I would need to start paying for storage. They said they would be happy to repair it for $7,200. I had the car towed home and got it back with a flat tire, dead battery, and everything that was taken off the car thrown in the back seat. The car wasnt even put back together. This is the 2nd time the service was way past non-professional. This car still sits in my front yard from last fall. What a piss poor operation, the car never came back with the fluids topped off let alone any oil in it, and it was returned to me in pieces. BUYER BEWARE - Stay away from New Country Toyota in Clifton Park, New York. I Can Not give a Positive Review, it would be the furthest thing from the truth.

2022-02-17I bought an used 4Runner at this location a couple of years ago. I had a great customer service experience with sales. They gave me 50% off on future brakes replacement as they didn’t need to be replaced right away but they felt a little off.I finally had the breaks replaced this week and I was quickly shown to be charged for something that I added up to be about $450. I accepted the work to be done because I was being quoted $1000 at my local dealership in Massachusetts. However, the day after the repair was done, I noticed that they charged me $997.After a couple of days trying to reach the service person without response, I asked to speak to the manager. The manager ensured me that I paid half price as the breaks would have cost $1500 and they did some extra cleaning.So, my recommendation is to be careful with this dealership service department. Request an actual printed copy of the estimate before accepting the work. Also, what they make look like a discount is just cutting the inflated prices that they would have charged otherwise. Makes it for a bittersweet experience.I give 3 stars because my brakes finally feel like they suppose to… and I still love my experience with sales customer service. I had Scott for sales and Michelle for service representative.

2022-01-19Called me and said my Prius was finished, after going to pick up it was apparent they left my car on over night after fixing it and made me pay for a battery. Pro tip: If you want to fix cars, turning it on and off is a very basic skill. These techs do not have that skill. Take your car where you know they have more knowledge than a preschooler.

2021-11-09I took my car to the body shop after an accident and they were horrid. They were eager to get my car. They sent someone out and picked it up within two hours even though I love an hour away. That was the only good part. At first they were responsive. Then, radio silence. After 5 weeks, they said the car was ready. After an hour drive, I went to pick the car up and it was an absolutely amature mess of a job. The new running board was a mess. It was all twisted. They fixed the door but left the scratches all down the rear panel and dont touch the moulding at all. They said the insurance cpany didnt say to fix it. Arent you the body shop? Dont you look at stuff and submit supplements? As soon as they did, my insurance company said of course you need to fix that. Also, the rim was supposed to be reconditioned. There was no way in heck it was touched. Two weeks later, for a total of 7 weeks, I got the car back. Then, it took them 3 calls and 3 more emails to send me the paperwork they promised. Never again! I wouldnt bring a car to the body shop and now I dont think I would consider buying from them either. Absolutely terrible service and 0 pride in their work. Two stars because in the end, the car looked good.

2021-10-14When it came time to get the airbag recall done the dealership service staff, Liza, was very nice, HOWEVER, when it came time for me to get a warranty claim started there was NO follow through. Liza expressly told me that she was working on it, as well as getting a new key made for my 4Runner, but once again no calls back. I have made several attempts to contact Liza and have not had one reply. If this is how they conduct business I dont know how they stay in business. Being led on by someone shows no integrity.
