Erin V the “team leader” is extremely rude and laughed in my face when I was trying to explain a problem I had with a product there and I was then physically confronted by an employee by the name of Brad who chest bumped me with his large belly amd grabbed my cell phone and my hand. They did not even send this guy home for the day or suspend him yet expect me to return to the store to return my product. I’m absolutely outraged by this and I can not believe that they also do not have working cameras in their store which is why they claim I can’t prove that he did such.

I like Tractor Supply. They have a wide variety of farm, pet, clothing, feed tools, etc. While they dont usually have a ton of people working in a given store, the folks who work there are always helpful.

Very helpful staff. Great variety of supplies. After weeks of asking, 1 store finally ordered duck feed as a trial, which quickly sold out. Hope the other stores get a clue. Pointed out the lids for 30 gal galvanized cans do not fit & have not seen more cans reordered. Website does not always reflect items in stock - suggest calling individual stores. Would have been 5 stars if they could coordinate supplies & update website.

Vendor delivery- it never fails, no matter what time I arrive at this location to deliver I am always forced to shut down for some reason. Low staff, no one to unload, cant spare the help, youre too late, or too early. I have a pm appt for delivery today and showed up prior to receiving hours being over, and yet again Im shut down for the night with hours on my clock. Every time, even with a call ahead and receiving arrangements being made hours before.

Good selection on some products, some products out of stock for long periods of time while waiting for corporate to notice an item is sold out.Very poor control over inventory and returns by store management. I buy a lot of the steel body round taillights for tractors and utility trailers. The lights are sold in bulk, which to the buyers at tractor supply corporate means stuck in a small open top clear plastic bag. And then dumped into boxes for transportation and bins for sale with no protection. Not packed in a protective clam shell.The clear license illumination lens is fragile and breaks easily so many times the lens is damaged. I always check the light carefully and have found lights many times with cracked lenses and always give them to an employee to remove from stock. And many times I have found the same lights right back in the bin for sale, put back out for sale the minute i left the store, never removed from stock as damaged.The best example of this was a recent trip to the Potsdam store. I ended up there on Friday 11/15 to get 3 taillights. There were 2 in the bin, and upon picking them up l could clearly see that both lights were returned previously by me after my wife had picked some up without looking at them.I had removed the large labels from the body of the lights as I always do before installing them, before I noticed the damaged lenses. I had returned them a few weeks earlier as damaged and yet they were the only ones in stock.Upon checking with the service desk, the gentleman there looked at the inventory and said there were none damaged out in the past few months, and that indeed the return damaged had been returned to stock and put on the shelf. He also said that there had been 28 sold in the past year, there were none on the incoming shipment because the inventory showed 2 in stock. He was not a regular store employee, he was there for inventory. And he removed them from stock, about 4 weeks after I had returned them.This is one example of store management trying to avoid shrink losses. The lower the shrink the better the bonuses for management in most corporate store chains. I worked for a national auto parts with the same mentality.Good store chain but very poor management. And possibly with management problems at multiple levels. Hard for store managers to make decisions unpopular with District or Regional managers killing their decisions.

Good selection, poor service. I waited for fifteen minutes and stated we wanted Guinea hens, but their staff seemed preoccupied and never returned. Not a single staff member asked if I needed help with 100lbs of goods and kids in tow. Most tractor supplies Im at are vastly more attentive and helpful. Staff here looked miserable.

I looked on their website for garden fencing and saw a product listed as $14.99. never did the listing say only on online orders nor did it say not in stock, so I went to the store to pick it up! But much to my schugrin the same product had a different price on it. I was floored when I asked to speak with a manager about this and just got a floor sales guy. When I showed him what I was looking at and explained the difference in price online/instore he never called a manager for help. So I left feeling as though I wasnt a valued customer, and I am in the customer service industry myself!

Decent selection and prices. Customer service sucks especially if you have to deal with James. Would give a 4 store if James wasnt employed there. Had a couple issues with him .I take my business to massena store.
