Expect to wait 40min for a simple salmon bagel dish. Waiter is super slow and takes forever to get the drinks order. Then gives u excuse that because of *communication problems* salmon dishes coming late (thought we ordered one instead of 3). Regardless, where is THAT salmon dish?Food is good but dont recommend for horribly slow services. FYI we are local here.More shocking thing is the waiter came back and asked for more tip (we gave 15% cash for brunch), even after he himself is aware service was horrible. Ended up giving 23% tip as we didnt want to bother complaining
I honestly would not change a single thing about this meal. Our server Amalia was warm, friendly, courteous, and truly made us feel happy to be there with her. The drinks were tasty and the food was truly exceptional. Also, the coffee was just about the best Ive had in a long time. If were looking for another delicious meal again Id absolutely go back. This was a perfect first impression and one that makes me feel like Trademark will be around for quite some time.
My wife and I had did not have reservations, but we managed to get a table within 20 minutes once we were here, on a Wednesday night at 7:30 pm. The entrance to this restaurant feels very speakeasy-ish and the hostess was very welcoming. The place has got a really good vibe, it wasnt too loud, and Id highly recommend this place for a date night. Our waitress Sarah was very friendly and explained to us what the daily specials were in detail. I ordered their daily special fish, which was Cod ($28) with some delicious almond sauce/reduction and fresh grilled veggies and my wife ordered Mushroom Risotto ($24).Food arrived within 20 minutes and the food was absolutely delicious. The food definitely is a bit on the expensive end, but the flavor absolutely justifies that price tag!Service overall was excellent and we had a great time while we were here for dinner. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family!
Loved their seasonal donuts and cozy space and decor. Unfortunately, our brunch wasn’t as exciting. We were a bit disappointed to see that 3 separate dishes we ordered had overcooked poached eggs. Not slightly, but absolutely no running yolk. Might’ve been a bad day, but would definitely try again. Maybe not for breakfast.
This place is far too up hipsterville road for me: the menu features pricey “toasts” & a number of things that even this former English major could barely pronounce. We had dinner at Trademark at 8 on a Friday night, so naturally it was bustling & loud, but the noise level was so elevated that my husband & I were literally shouting across the table to hear each other. Besides being a tad bit expensive, this restaurant is not very vegan/vegetarian/pescatarian friendly, & as a pescatarian, the most lenient of the dietary restrictions, I struggled for almost 15 minutes to find a suitable, filling, yet not too pricey meal. I ended up ordering a pasta dish & asking the waitress to omit whatever meat was on top of it. The food was delicious, though, & their fries are excellent. I’m not inclined to visit here again but it’s a nice spot for the quintessential NYC hipster searching the city for a bite.
The service was great for the two stars. However, the food was not good. We had 4 people and each of us spent ~$100. 3 of us ordered the steak and one ordered the short ribs for the entrees. All 4 dishes were between cold to warm. We did ask the waitress to bring them back to heat them up and she did. However, the food was only a bit warmer once they came out - you probably cant reheat steaks too much anyway because they would be overcooked so the meals were ruined at the moment while they were served cold.
Came here on a Wednesday night for dinner. Made reservations before hand online, but the place wasnt packed when we arrived. Got the TM burger with the salad and a side of crispy Yukon potatoes. Burger was filling, loved the crispy onions and bacon that was inside the burger. Would definitely recommend.
Ive been here a few times now... so, its officially one of my Go-To Spots when someone says lets do something different for lunch. Its still so new that its different for me too and I havent tried everything yet.Their take on bruschetta is fan-friggen-tastic! I really enjoyed the pulled pork ravioli and their burgers are spot on.All of the service staff, as soon as I walked in, were on point with the greetings, great smiles and attentive service. The managers, each time Ive been there, treated me like a VIP or as if Id been there 100 times before...and in a very congenial and authentic way.High marks for service, the look & feel, and especially the food. #LetsGuide #Reco100 #RecoveringKnowItAll
Overall, this was a great experience. My party and I were looking for a late dinner (~9:30PM), and this place did not disappoint. The service was phenomenal, and the waitress was well versed in both the cocktail and food menus. The quality of the drinks was above what I expected based on the atmosphere of the restaurant (which is very nice, but doesnt necessarily give the impression of amazing cocktails). Standouts from dinner were the brussels, the hand-pulled mozzarella, and the panna cotta (a must try!). The steak and salmon were cooked perfectly to order. The restaurant has quite a nice Nespresso machine if youre in the mood for an after dinner latte. Not as good as a nice coffee shop, but above the quality of the typical NYC restaurant. The only reason why I havent given the restaurant 5 stars is that we had to wait for approximately 40 minutes to receive our food, which I feel was slightly long considering the time of our dining and the fact that the restaurant was not packed. We did receive our first round of drinks and appetizers within 10 minutes of sitting down.Overall, highly recommend.
Trademark is a hidden gem! I am a chocoholic. Trademark indeed does have some very unique savory and sweet menu items that I have not endulged in anywhere else. My business coach and I ventured here for dinner. I opted for meatballs in lemon sauce. Initially I was optimistic as I have had chicken and salmon in lemon sauce never red meat. The waiter assured me that it’s delicious. I was in for a treat. The meatballs came with ricotta cheese, plum tomatoes bursting joyfully with flavors, and in lemon sauce. I paused after taking a bite of the tomato and stopped listening to Dailisha. This place gives meaning to the word adventurous. I loved on every bite of those meatballs. The lemon sauce was purely divine. I wanted to drink it however I had to maintain my composure. It’s not what I had in mine. Trademark, let’s talk about your modern unique drinks. I am a die hard chocoholic and when I saw the Cocoa Puffs drink I said this is innovative and simplistic. I love Cocoa Puff cereal. The White Russian liquor with Cocoa Puffs on top transforming this drink into an adult chocolate milk with a spoon. Yasssss! I’ll be back for my birthday.
Trademark was absolutely fantastic! My wife and I were visiting from Chicago recently and this place was right up the street from our hotel. It was top-notch. The trademark Old Fashioned was one of the best cocktails Ive had the pleasure of drinking (made w/ Redemption Rye...killer). Hangar steak w/ herb butter was perfect. Staff was so pleasant and attentive, but never over-bearing. If youre looking for a welcoming place with delicious food in a great, relaxed setting, get yo butts over to Trademark. Im fully intent on making this a destination on my next trip to NYC...
Had a great experience at brunch today. We were seated immediately at a cute corner booth. The manager welcomed us and thanked us for joining for several birthdays. The eggs in hell had a great lamb sausage and the hangover hash had a great flavor. The manager offered us dessert on the house to celebrate. We had their Irish coffee which was finished with crown royal cream. Will definitely join again
The food is great and the service is AMAZING. I had to work in the evening and we asked our server if she could put a rush on our food. Not only did she recommend which dishes would be the fastest, but she was clearly very busy with other tables and still manage to provide A+ service. Our food came out ridiculously fast. I had a burger and my friend had the risotto, both were delicious. The atmosphere is pretty neat too.
Made a reservation 45 minutes in advance, got in with no problem on a Friday night. Had the smashed beets appetizer-- it was absolutely delicious!! Had the double-patty burger with fries, delicious. Had the wild mushroom risotto, also delicious. Very fast service. Very nice atmosphere of the restaurant. All the staff help each other which is great to see. Would highly recommend!!
Pretty place and friendly service. Relaxing atmosphere- not crowded or noisy. Food was tasty but on the heavy side for brunch. We has the burrata with garlic knots which was flavorful. Hangover hash was a little disappointing. A little greasy and poached eggs were a bit overdone. Solid choice but there are likely better places. Convenient to our hotel.
Wish I had a better experience at this fabulous looking restaurant, but unfortunately the food was just not for me!Its a really cool place, the entrance is in the back of a coffee shop and the atmosphere is amazing. The appetizers were great (pork sliders), but my meal was not so.Ordered a fried chicken sandwich - typically these are white breast meat, unless otherwise dictated on a menu. This particular one was such dark meat that I physically couldnt stand the smell of it in front of me and had to ask the waitress to take it off the table. She did remove it off of our check, but I doubt Ill return since this was the most appetizing looking meal on the menu.
Let me tell you that the food is great. Hanger steak was aged to perfection, beefy flavor strongly seared but still rare and juicy, BBQ ravioli is a super winner, and the Brick Chicken tender and moist. Simple brussel sprouts grilled with garlic, so full of yum. Good surroundings at a very reasonable price.
The staff was exceptional. From host to bartender (Mike) to waiter (Stanley), this was a great experience for my friends and me. The food was delicious. The atmosphere of the space is inviting and fun. We actually came to the restaurant for the chocolate chip cookies served in the coffee bar in the front, but were pleasantly surprised when we stayed for dinner. I strongly recommend Trademark Taste + Grind and will return soon myself.
This place was great. Really amazing service and the food was cooked impeccably. They had this absolutely bonkers deal called “wine & dine.” I highly recommend it if it is available when you go as it was a phenomenal deal. 3 course meal and unlimited wine by the glass (available for any wine available by the glass!) for $60 per person(tax/ tip not included but automatically added at the end). No exclusions on the food menu either! We got the steak tartare, the handmade mozzarella, salmon, chicken, cookie skillet and banana pudding. Even without the deal, it was totally worth it. Highly recommend.
I came here for a small birthday dinner and was very pleased. The food was delicious and the drinks were too. The bartender mixed a drink special because I was indecisive and it was unusual but great! Both the flatbread and brick chicken were incredible. Definitely worth coming in for the casual but refined atmosphere.
One of the nicest staff I’ve ever met! Very hospitable and sweet. Food was delicious. It was a friends birthday and they sent out a sweet handwritten note signed with the waiters and waitresses along with a free birthday dessert. Overall, 10/10 and I would definitely come back.
Its a very charming atmosphere in a very nostalgic style. Unfortunately, we were served coffee that tasted like it was made the day before. Nobody bothered to notice why we had full cups 10 minutes after serving, but if they had, they might have noticed that something was wrong. I mentioned it to the manager on the way out, and he said he wished wed said something before we paid the bill. It wasnt too late at that point to offer something like a voucher for the next visit, but he didnt. Unfortunately you only get one chance to make a first impression, and this experience will keep me from returning.
Two things I love: awesome service and foodThis place was our last meal in NY by our hotel (within walking distance from a bunch). Food was outstanding and service was fantastic. Very attentive but not over the top where you feel rushed. We came with a Toddler for breakfast. They brought his food out first (big plus) and he ate everything.Overall, when we are in NYC we would definitely return.
Wow! I was blown away by the service and personal touch at this restaurant. Ive been traveling and dining out on business for 30 years and this might be the best Ive ever seen. The manager Ryan and his team were phenomenal. Food, atmosphere and service were all excellent. I highly recommend this place. We felt special from the moment we walked in. Regards, Steve Urban, Founder & CEO, Riderflex
This restaurant was so delicious and had a very friendly accommodating staff. Sarah was an amazing waitress, Ryan was a professional manager , and Brian finished out our night with great service as well. Very pleased by my experience here, 5 stars!!! My wife and I had a wonderful time here.
Great food and drinks! But the table we are sitting at is SO UNCOMFORTABLE! Right next to the aisle and bar so every time someone walks by they bang into the chair. It’s terrible and there should not be a table here. If you get a better seat this is a great place. Otherwise, 2 stars.A table next to us opened up and we asked if we could move. The server said “I’ll have to see if it’s possible.” I said “seems pretty simple to me to just move over.” Server never returned with an answer. Just continued to serve us at that table. The second star is a gift from me to you for no particular reason.
The restaurant itself can only be described as cute. Its a fun environment with friendly service. The food doesnt take too long to get to the table, but when it does, its only good. Its far from bad, but its not great either. YMMV with this place, but Id give it a recommendation if just to experience the impressive decorations on the walls for yourself.
A hidden gem!!! I went here last night for the wine and dine special (3 course meal and unlimited wine for $60!) I had the calamari, hanger steak and two LARGE chocolate chip cookies. The food was delicious and the service was fast. You have the option of selecting different wines. I had the Rosé and Pinot Grigio. Our waitress, Melissa was delightful! Ill definitely come back!
The ambience is nice, the staff is friendly. I ordered the steak and eggs (Sunnyside). The steak was chewy, as expected of hanger steak but no way Im paying $15 more for ribeye, and the eggs were fried instead of sunny side. Overall it was still delicious and I would return for another brunch.
The only thing more wonderful about the Hanger Steak, Brussels sprouts and potatoes was fabulous service provided by Sally, Chris, and Ryan. Sally was friendly, witty and always there when we needed something. Chris and Ryan were attentive and delightfully entertaining while maintaining professionalism. The dinner was great. The martinis were perfection.
Fresh baked cookies are great. Foods OK but they took forever for some items. Two of us were done with their lunch before the other two of us got our appetizer (both appetizer and main course came on the same plate). Could have brought us our appetizer and then the main course.
The food was phenomenal, we ordered the burrata, the brussels sprout toast, and the roasted cauliflower which was super savory and filling and delicious! However, the servers were disorganized and forgot things frequently. They seem to be trying to push the ‘lounge’ area, a room in the lobby of the adjacent hotel. When we got there there were several tables open but we were told we had to wait about 30 min. Then when they called us to be seated, there were still plenty of tables open and they told some newcomers the same thing.
This place is great!! Had dinner here with some friends and the staff was on top of their game and visited us periodically to check in and make sure everything was great, and it wasThe burger was amazing and the fries were plentiful, though we all accidentally got themDrinks were all good and not too pricey for the areaWill be back for sure
Unpredictable, sometimes service is great, sometimes the service can be horribly slow and sometimes you get rude staff. Julia (evening bartender) who was managing our table on the bar side was rude, barely spoke to us and did not make us feel welcome. I got the impression she wanted to leave and us walking in was holding her up. This is the second time I’ve had an unpleasant experience here. Lots of other options in NYC. Step it up Trademark. Cocktails are good if you do go.
Dont understand all the good reviews this place gets. The menu is very limited (basically burgers + few other items), plus they have a quite small list of beers available. We ordered burgers cooked medium, but they were served blood red. Our server was nice enough, but seemed like he had no idea what he was doing. Overall, very forgettable.Update: Oops, also forgot to mention that my burger literally came with NOTHING ELSE on the plate. While I get it that fries or a small salad could be ordered separately, this is literally the first time Ive ever seen a restaurant do this -- no chips, no lettuce and tomato, no pickle, nothing. Really makes for a bad presentation when youre served a full size plate and 90% of it is bare.
Really good food and great service but could have gotten that 5 th star if my New Yorker Bagel with smoked Salmon was not served with a cinnamon raisen bagel. The bagel was very good the salmon was very good but together my tastebuds were confused. I was told they were out of other bagels and the kitchen didnt tell the front of the house. What would Chef Ramsey say? Come on, talk, never stop talking @#$%*^
For reference, I’m posting this less than 45 minutes after leaving. We came in the hotel side and stood for a few minutes wondering if we should head to the front. When a server finally approached us, she asked “are you looking for a host?” When I replied we were looking for a table for two, she sent us to the front and told us to “see if they had a spot for us”. Fair enough, it’s Christmas season. But she wasn’t nice about it. It’s a slow night, you have MAYBE 30 heads for 9 front-of-house staff (manager, busboy, a bartender, 4 servers and two hosts)... it’s not insane to assume you can walk us to the front, check with the hostess yourself, etc. When we got to the front, the hosts told us they hoped we enjoyed our meal. We said we were looking for a table for two. After they sat us and we’re going through the awkward period of taking off our coats while the host is waiting to menu us, we say thank you, make small talk and receive NO reciprocal dialogue. We say thank you again. Nothing. After that, we were asked, in a period of about 10 minutes, what we wanted for drinks, apps and mains. We asked for some time to consider the menu. After we ordered, there was no quality check and no check on drinks. Another server ran our food, a bud boy cleared it. When she did come by, she was clearly in a rush. And if she wasn’t, we definitely wouldn’t want to stay any longer.Ive been serving and managing for 10 years, my partner has been back-of-house and head chef for 16, altogether. I’m telling you so if you read this, you know that I get it. It’s Christmas, you’re tired. Tourists can be difficult and minimum wage is horribly low. This is a super difficult time to be in this industry. But figure it out. You’re making your partner hotel look bad. I’m giving the restaurant two stars because the hand-pulled mozzarella was very good, the music is very good, the restaurant itself is so, so cute and the busboy was very attentive. He was looking to clear and refill our water pitcher constantly. Promote that man to server.
Everything about this place is great - food, drinks, atmosphere and service! Even though they are very busy, the stuff works really hard to accommodate and make everyone comfortable. Love it! Even though they are trying to accommodate everyone, I would strongly suggest making a reservation before coming here.
We had really high expectations for this place. Firstly the food is good (nice burgers but very greasy), unfortunately its pricey for what you get.The service is a little lacking as is their attention to detail compared to their other restaurant. The other downside is dining space (the pricy area) is crammed next to the loud busy bar, so you have loud people leaning on your seat when your eating, a very poor pricy experience.
Whoa....visiting from Calif...did not expect such an experience from what seemed like a coffee shop... this hidden jewel is in backside of smaller coffee shop entrance to give a feeling of a speakeasy off 5th ave.... (west 36th st.). Had the hanger steak, medium rare, perfect...Hostess, Manager and Server seemed like a crew on the same page...loved it!
Ever since Trademark opened at Le Soleil hotel, its been a god-send of good coffee in an otherwise desolate landscape overrun by bulk corporate coffee like Starbucks, Pret a Manger and many other franchises/chains in midtown. Their coffee is always freshly brewed or ground on the spot using freshly-roasted beans. Their diverse variety of non-dairy milk alternatives is also extremely extensive and I favor their macadamia nut milk. They also have almond milk, soy milk, coconut milk and many others. The baristas and staff are always super friendly and make the meanest cup of coffee in midtown!
Ok first of all the waitress had the worst attitude that takes 2 stars off second of all their coffee is just water with food coloring that takes 1star off then the food takes so long to come that everybody lost their appetite and when we wanted to leave and we told the people what was wrong the manager came out and started arguing with us instead of listening to the problem so actually this restaurant doesnt even deserve a rating .

2022-06-13Honestly very disappointed with my experience here! I picked out this spot because they had good reviews; I expected an experience but this simply wasn’t good. The service moved soooooo slowly. The food was atrocious tbh - I had the Short Rib Hash which is priced at $21 and it was literally just meat & potatoes in a cast iron pan. I was so hungry when the food arrived but it just not good at all. The least you can do is add a house salad or something, ANYTHING!? + My guest had the burger and said it was okay… :/ The drinks were as expected nothing special. I do not recommend Trademark Bar + Kitchen.

2022-05-15Great Brunch drink specials brought us here with $25 per bottle. We got the whipped feta which was great, hanger steak with frites, the meatballs, and the waffles. All the good was fantastic! The service was a bit unorganized though, they brought out the same dish multiple times and some of the orders were incorrect

2022-05-29I was very disappointed by the serving size for the mushroom raviolis - there was only about 8/9 total. The appetizer we got was a bit over cooked as well. The salmon was great though, and our server was very attentive.

2022-01-09Place was cute and quaint. Didnt understand alot of the menu items but nothing Google couldnt clear up. Upscale entrees with hors doeuvre type appetizers. Drink selection was peculiar but tasteful and staff was attentive. Going to the bathroom is also quite the adventure! We

2022-07-03Couldn’t decide where to go for brunch today, but I’m so glad we decided to visit Trademark Bar + Kitchen. From the moment we entered we were greeted with so many friendly, happy staff members. The decor is beautiful. And the food… excellent! I particularly enjoyed the Eggs Benedict. It’s definitely a place I’d go back to!

2022-07-18Nice, brightly lit location for lunch with several tables outdoors. The 2-3 course lunch is a good value and includes some nice options. Service as attentive and accommodating. Not a destination, but would recommend if you’re in the area.

2022-07-10Love this place! Everything was perfect! Great ambiance, delicious “lick the plate clean” food, perfectly balanced cocktails, and the most incredible service - so welcoming and thoughtful. We sat in one of the booths in the back perfect for a small more intimate group. Ordered the Arancini, Little Gem Salad, snd Whipped Feta - loved all. For cocktails had a spicy margarita - delicious. Wonderful treat and can’t wait to go again.

2022-07-05We are staying at the hotel le soleil for a short get away from upstate New York…the hotel bar Trademark is such a cute little bar and restaurant.:we walked in on the Tuesday after the Fourth of July and it was slow..as expected but the bartender Richard was absolutely PHENOMENAL. as me and my boyfriend are both in the restaurant industry we know the struggles when a restaurant is supper slow and draggng but rich did not let this phase him he was so personable and really made us feel so welcome for being the only 2 in the bar. We will be back everyday for the rest of our trip.

2022-02-15If you want an enjoyable time, I definitely dont recommend this place. It was the most uncomfortable experience I have ever had and am so happy we ended up leaving. We did a weekend getaway with our girlfriends this weekend. When we got there around 10:50am for lunch - there was only one group of people there at the time. The bartender was so kind and said lunch doesnt start until 11 but could seat us in the meantime. An older gentleman server was extremely rude to the bartender about how we were not allowed to order food until exactly 11 and then another man (who I assume was the manager) yelled at him for it too. Our server came by and we ordered some coffee. My friend asked if it was possible to get avocado toast that was on their brunch menu even though it wasnt on their lunch menu. Our server was so kind, and responded that he could ask the chef but didnt see why it would be a problem. The manager gave both my friend and the server the NASTIEST look and yelled at him that it isnt on the lunch menu. We all felt so uncomfortable with the amount of disrespect to both our bartender, server, and us that we just wanted to get the check and leave. It was really disgusting to treat both customers and employees that way. Even after the mistreatment, we politely asked for the check for the coffees. When we got up to leave, they were all in the corner staring at us. Never felt SO creeped out/uncomfortable in my life! So happy we left. If you are looking for a good time, we ended up going to The Herald 4 blocks down!
