Love Trader Joes products and philosophy (healthy or authentic foods with reasonable prices) but wish TJ store was positioned closer to my home in Baldwinsville, NY.
Nothing like this within hundreds of miles of Syracuse NY.Staff is frantically busy but act like you are their one and only customer.Dont eat all of my frozen cherries or my meringue cookies or I will hunt you down.
This is a tribute to Lee, a stellar trader Joes employee, who took us through the store... for stuffing they had no more. We asked for just a little advice and Lee proved to be very nice. To the imagination Lee left nothing as we created our Thanksgiving stuffing. Vegetables, cranberries, thyme and rosemary. He filled up our bags with all we could carry. As we sit down to enjoy our holiday dishes, we wish Lee and Trader Joes all our best wishes.
Great location and awesome selection, but it seems the team morale is down. Everyone at this location was miserable when I visited today and I caught a huge attitude from the cashier when she put my things in a bag and forgot to charge me for it after I had already run my card. These folks could learn from the cashier there who used to sell cars. He’s a pleasant guy and he ASKED me if I wanted a bag before assuming I couldn’t carry out my solitary box of mini pizzas. Do better, folks. I love that place, but I also like Aldi. 👀
Pretty standard trader joes. One of the few place you can consistently find matcha mochi ice cream.

I like to buy my groceries there because we found that Trader Joes products in general are healthy and not expensive. I like the variety of flavors and different options of healthy snacks.This local is not as big as other supermarket chains here in Syracuse, but it has a nice layout and I have minimized the time I spend searching for items. The staff is helpful.
Good selection of fresh and frozen produce, as well as frozen dinners and sides such as orange chicken, chicken tikka masala, and naan bread. The Trader-Joe brand products are usually of good quality at an excellent price. However sometimes they miss the mark, like the chips. They also carry a few seasonal national-brand products you should be on the lookout for. Try the O&H Danish Kringles. Our favorites are raspberry and almond. They even carry a pumpkin-flavored Kringle at Thanksgiving. Theyre absolutely delicious and about one-third the price youd pay if you mail ordered them from the bakery in Wisconsin.
This place is so expensive. I dont know why there is such a following. The store was clean and the staff was extremely friendly though. But the prices will keep me away.

Always clean and neat. Mostly helpful and friendly staff. A bit crowded on the day I went. Small store. Great produce. They have a frozen quiche that we normally buy 3 or 4 and they are gone within a week....
I love TJs! They have delicious items that are reasonably priced if you know what to get. Their Kung pao chicken in the frozen food section is divine! They have a wonderful selection of teas as well. I always find something new and delicious whenever I stop in. The customer service is great as well

Best bread in town (or tie w/Panera). Almost always have free samples of gourmet or healthy food. Great Greek olives & oil, grind your coffee, goat cheeses, veggie meats, diverse beers.

Love, love, love Trader Joes. Really good prices. Always get the almond butter...which is the best price in town. Staff is very friendly. Love that you dont have to unload your cart at register. They do it for you. Free samples too.UPDATE: Since covid they no longer have free samples. Dont know why as other places have now started to hand out samples (Costco). Still a great place. Just would like them to be consistent with items they sell. Probably a supply chain issue. Everytime I go in there they have a different crew working. Dont know why. Still really good prices, but they have gone up.
Pretty cool store. I cant honestly conceive shopping here for my everyday grocery needs but for that something special, sure. Very small store for a grocery store but some really nice items. Mostly all their own name brand, but high quality.
Truth in packaging, find all you need and nothing more.I used to question why TJ would open in such a small space on the Boulevard, when all other grocery stores are getting bigger like chicken on steroids? Then I came to appreciate that you can find all you need at TJs without the conundrums of deciding between a gazillion different options for a single item. Yet, I can feel confident that each item offered for purchase is quality item, thoughtfully selected by TJs so you dont have to. And I love that they stand by the truth in packaging, unlike so many branded products out there, where the packaging pictures much more than what you will get, in presentation, quality, and quantity. Not TJs products, what you see on the outer packaging picture is what you get inside, no tricks, no misrepresentations , no Brian Williams exaggerations on TJs packaging, simply honest truth. Something really hard to get these days from any industry. This is why I shop almost entirely at TJs now for my groceries, from shampoo to that lobster tail
LOVE the selection and the marketing sense of humor. Lots of great options if youre vegan, as we are. The Syracuse store is a destination for us since we live in Binghamton, but worth it. We usually combine the drive with Hercules Candies & Costco. Its our holy Trinity of shopping! 😄 And you really need to buy their very roomy insulated, zippered tote!
Staff is always friendly and helpful. Store is always clean, fully stocked and great prices! I love their frozen food section especially the soup dumplings.

The closet thing to Fun youre likely to have Shopping. The employees have always been awesome and there are always new items that are showcased but somehow most of my old favorites are there. I find the quality of everything great and the prices are kept reasonable ( likely through their limiting of selection and mostly store branded) ... Its like a mini Wegmans with out the ridiculous crowds or the 200,000 square feet of store to cover.You probably cant get everything you always need there ( I always end up somewhere else for lungs like laundry detergent, paper products , hygiene items , etc.
Great grocery store, with a wide variety of fresh produce. The largest selection of organic products around, would highly recommend this place. Also there is a selection of craft beers.
I always love visiting Trader Joes when Im in the area. I live in a more rural part of NY so its great to come every once and a while and pick up some things that arent sold by me. I love the elote seasoning specifically and the stout pies are something that I always grab. People are always so kind here too always makes the trip with it!
Easy to shop, great selection and workers are very helpful. As a side note, I ran out of the peanut butter and banana dog treats, got such a look from my spoiled fur baby I had to run to Trader Joes to get more!

Love love love Trader Joes I am so glad there is one here in Syracuse. They have some really tasty and unique side items for dinner. I have never made a purchase at Trader Joes that I regretted.
Love Trader Joes. My first visit back since the pandemic hit. They didnt disappoint. I wasnt able to get all the new Fall products I wanted but I got some. Just a reason to go back. 😊

The store is not large, but clean. You will get your favorite frozen foods at ease. However, you might be surprised that some items will be gone weeks later when they are not performing well. Its inventory management, but still, I feel bad.
Awesome experience. I initially thought I picked a great time to go there. At 10:00 am well it started off great. Down the first aisle without much difficulty.Then all of a sudden a traffic jam.Its all worth it in the end. The workers are all very nice and I do enjoy a lot of the food there.
Great service and high quality items... A little bit too corporate of an atmosphere to be my main shopping store. However, it remains a great back up for stuff I cant get between the co-op and farm shares/plowshares. They have a weird policy about not taking photos in the store which rly grinded my gears when trying to pick up flowers for my boyfriends family during his funeral... They were not with me and wanted pics of what I was getting with their cash and the store management had issues with that...like a competitor would use a funeral with an ad for it in the news as a gimmick to spy on their floral section, 😂 lol

Bought some mint plants there. They lasted enough to plant and gift a friend a mint plant for his birthday. TJ is always clean and good quality. Happy they are on the blvd.
Nice little market with a decent selection
Love this place! I know when I go here Im going to leave with lots of delicious food and nothing thats going to linger untouched in the back of a cabinet for months. Their selection is different than anywhere else and at really reasonable prices. This location specifically has extremely friendly staff and is always clean and well stocked.

I fell in love with TJ when I lived in NYC. I was thrilled that there was one in my hometown when I relocated back to Syracuse! Absolutely love the staff here- theyre so friendly, warm and welcoming. A complete departure from the typical zombie-like checkout experience in most other stores.Fun fact: Joes has an AMAZING floral selection. I bought Valentines Day flowers that are still going strong 10 days later!
Some items at Trader Joes are excellent. Other items seem overpriced. The aisles are not organized well, and there isnt a huge variety in store. However, all employees were exceptionally friendly and checking out was fast.
I LOVE trader joes but the selection at this location leaves much to be desired, especially when it comes to grab and go food like wraps, salads, etc.
Trader Joes has a wide variety of organic foods, both fresh and packaged. They have unique items. I enjoying looking in every section of the store. The prices are reasonable.
I had never been to a Trader Joes before and since going gluten free i have a hard time finding decent items. I absolutely love their gluten free bread and bagels, the best i have tried. And I have tried many! They have unique items you may not find in other stores as well. Oh and seasonal items like pumpkin coffee or pumpkin muffins for the fall. Their employees are very friendly and helpful. I make it part of my weekly grocery trip to stop in.
I love this store but beware of some of the fresh produce Brussel sprouts go bad 2 days after getting them home and the last 2 times I was in nearly all the Zucchini were growing fuzz. Otherwise I love the store their great customer service and how clean they keep the place!

Truly an amazing store, but really its not just a store, its a brand a community, something if its own kind.Anyone who seen it, who has walked in, had spoken of it. About the employees, with their ever smiling faces, great charisma, and extremely friendly.The products too, are unique, everything is top quality, with the special trader joes stamp on it. (Try finding some product, that doesnt say trader joes on it 😉).The reason that I only give three stars, is because, even though all the above mentioned is very advantageous. But for me Im bothered, first of all, the people. They put up a good show, but some times its really lacking the sincerity, its more just bluff, to make you feel comfortable. In addition, many times when I shop, I want my own peace and quiet, not to be blabbered away by the store workers.Then the products, why cant we know sometimes where they are actually coming from, seems like, they are hiding things, lacking a lot of transparency.But at the end of the day, its one place Ill always appreciate, and always go back, getting the products I love.
This is the only Trader Joes I have ever been to and each time I leave happy. The cashiers are the most personable of any retail store I have ever visited and I always find myself singing and dancing to the music they play there. Oh the food is good, too!

Trader Joes is a very good store for healthy organic produce and products. A wee bit high on the pricing side but have never purchased anything I didnt enjoy. Store is in the small side but, the help is exceptional. Very curtious and always willing to help. Wasnt for the pricing, they would be a five star.

Awesome as always. Great selection and everyone was being so considerate about social distancing. There was a covered area to wait to get in. We got there early and did not have to wait. Same offerings as usual. Make sure to check out the online flyer before going for new stuff. All the staff are super helpful and have suggestions I actually found useful.
The strangest grocery crowd I could script,stores fine I guess,but I never checked out with my purchase because the odd crowd drove me out. Maybe Im just not a trader joe!

I cannot say enough good things about Trader Joes. The staff (from management to regular) are the best and go out of their way to help you and are always smiling and happy! Love the selection of items from flowers to candy to food. I am never disappointed with the items I get and really get a lot of cool items for the money. I go in for a few items and come out with a lot. I worked for any agency and one of my clients celebrated her 100th birthday . They gave her a beautiful gift basket, a gorgeous big bouquet of flowers and one of the staff created a card for her and they all signed it. I love this store and their staff. I truly appreciate all they do for the community (they donate a lot of items) and for their customers. Trader Joes you rock!

The employees here are super refreshing! Even during the panic buying we have been seeing the last few days. Most of the employees seem upbeat and one in particular who was stocking the frozen food said it was actually kinda fun to see people trying new foods. Queen of the silver lining parade. Really lifted my spirits on a tuff day!
Reminds me of the west coast! Great prepared foods along with grocery store basics. But the best thing about this store is their customer service. I once got strawberries with a friend and upon getting home we realized some on the bottom were not in good shape. They refunded our purchase in cash without a receipt! Love this store!
Our family just stopped at Trader Joes for our weekly groceries. We were met in the parking lot by Lee, who was making sure only a designated amount of customers were allowed in. Lee was fantastic, and kept everyone entertained until allowed in. Trader Joes has all the healthy choices our family uses. We highly recommend Trader Joes, and greatly appreciated how we were treated during this global crisis.
Often the parking area is a mess. But not their fault. Thank god the store make up for any inconvenience. One of the best T Joes I have been to. And proud to say I am a regular at this Trader Joe.
I love Trader Joe’s so much. the employees were friendly but assertive when we dropped by this past Sunday, which made me feel very safe. i was impressed by our cashier and also by the person supervising the door. my current favorite TJ’s find is the ube waffle and pancake mix!
They have good music playing outside as soon as you arrive and miniature shopping carts for the kids or your weird friend. More importantly they have a wide array of delicious foods and they always have free samples going on. Great atmosphere with really kind helpful staff. Try the garlic spread on top of the rectangle hash browns. Oh and the Thai tea mochi 👌
I love coming here. The food honestly is fine, some things are amazing and others are a little bit of a disappointment however the packaging really sells. The staff is outstanding though, And Ive never had a bad experience here.
While they aren’t very large is size, they makeup for it by producing high quality healthy foods. Just about everything I’ve tried has been amazing and I don’t think the prices are too high compared to what you’d find in other grocery stores.In the frozen section, I love the veg biryani, quinoa mix, “chicken tenders” made with soy, and Manchurian chicken.I also love their fresh pizza dough, cheeses and selection of meats. I’m not the biggest meat eater but I appreciate the antibiotic free chicken.
This was my first time visiting this store. There were a lot of cut flowers at very reasonable prices. Ill be back to buy some. They offer a wide variety of prepared foods. It appeared there was a good selection of Vegan food items on one wall.
I appreciate the cleanliness, bright lighting, and courteous staff at this location. The other customers are polite as well. The prices were good and the quality and selection of goods excellent. I would highly recommend this store to anyone in the Dewitt area, especially someone who wants high quality, healthy food that is also relatively inexpensive.

Went during the pandemic (July 2020; second time I go inside a supermarket). Well stocked. The usual layout and merch. All employees and customers wore masks and there were clear markers to keep appropriate physical distance between customers. Carts were wiped down between customers and all cashiers sanitized hands between customers too. The store was pretty empty considering how busy it normally gets. Wish I had one closer 😢.
My wife and i were checking out of Dewitt trader Joes and Lee asked how are day was going. We both indicated we would have liked a different outcome. Lee then made a signal to the management booth. The manager then handed us a boquet of flowers. How nice.Good value. Good food. Great people. A nice end to a pretty rotten day. Thank you Lee and trader Joes.

Its a decent size store, not small and not big, very clean and has many nice things to purchase. Snack wise they have a lot of choices, they have many organic items such as black beans that no other stores have. There is many nut choices and dried fruit. I enjoyed shopping at the store.
No wait today! Numerous fruits veggies bread products. I enjoy the frozen gyozo, mushroom ravioli with truffle sauce. Chicken alfredo also a quick relish meal. Parking easy and store location is perfect.
Very interesting grocery store with a lot of products that can only be found here. They offer a lot of company made goods that are organic and many gluten-free options. Theyre a little bit pricey but the most of their products are worth it. The selection here is better than most other grocery stores for similar products.

I love Trader Joes. There are some great choices for some unbeatable prices. Their cheese selection is the best. So many healthy options throughout the store. And every time youre there theres a new seasonal item to try. And their samples and coffee are always a pleasure to try. Theres a reason why theres so many shoppers there all the time.

I had wonderful shopping assistance and was even provided a list of vegan foods for my households potential new diet w/o having to ask. Chashiers are always lovely here. The store is always clean with healthy selections tastier than I could have ever imagined.

First time Trader Joes experience that changed how Ill forever get groceries. I thought they were like a whole foods of products, boy was I wrong. They offer fantastic lines of Trader Joe products from quick meals, to everything bagel seasoning (get it, you wont regret it). They have become a go to store for goodies and groceries alike. They are very eco friendly, which Im a big fan of and the employees there truly seem to enjoy their jobs which contributes to the overall better customer experience.
Crazy busy, but very cool... this store offers a unique variety of everything from plants to treats to real food my favorite is there pretzel bagels if and when I can get them..... the staff is always very helpful and very informative
The store has almost everything i need. (whats missing-Curry leaves and lentils for indian cooking) shopping in the store is easy since its not too big and spread out. Prices are reasonable. Food is not sold in large bulk packages so it works well for cooking for a small number of people. Customer service is great!

2022-05-05Pictures speak louder to show the beautiful, colorful vegetables and so much more. While we were at Trader Joe’s, it started raining heavy and cashier offered us store’s umbrellas that protected us from getting wet. An other store employee was standing by outside the store so that we could conveniently give back umbrella back without getting off of our vehicle. Store employees are always available to help out customers. My profound thanks to the administration.

2022-05-28So many yummy things here! Helpful staff, too :-) Their gluten free bread actually feels and tastes like bread. Love the seasonings section, too. Gotta keep the multipurpose 21 Seasoning Salute on hand. Many affordable all natural and organic products. Wonderful snacks and candies, too!

2022-03-13Fresh fruit, vegetables, and a lot of Trader Joes own brand snacks. Its not expensive and tasty. The staffs are very friendly and have passion to work. For example, a cashier find out a little broken place for vegetables plastic bag. He takes the initiative to change a new one for me. Its so happy to shop here 🥰

2022-05-05This store is not that big, but it has a lot of stuffs just like a regular grocery. Staff are very friendly & helpful. This clerk(she) helped me to get different items on my shopping list, otherwise I would have taken a long time to find as the store is new to me. I will visit it again when I pass through.

2022-05-13I have my favorite foods to buy from Trader Joes....the produce and flowers are great. I have many frozen favorite foods, but lately they are often out of stock. Shopping at Trader Joes, which is an 80 mile drive one way for me, is always an adventure.

2022-05-29Since theyve been renovating the trader joes in Los Angeles Ive had good experiences in every store Ive been too. Only one unfortunate thing. The Trader joes in Los Angeles has a different flour tortilla than the ones here in Central NY. I do prefer the ones in Los Angeles. They much better than the ones they offer here.
