The place is really nice, the waitress could be a bit more aware, but ok, nothing terrible, she was having a bad day, I guess.BUT, I cant believe that you guys serve a burrito and name it fajitas. Yes, what you offer on your menu as fajitas, is just a burrito, anywhere in the world except at your restaurant. Just imagine that you go to a restaurant and order a pizza, and 5 min later you get a lasagna, and when you say to the waitress hey, excuse me, this is not a pizza, is a lasagna, she just says: well, in this restaurant our pizza is like that.Really? We were really disappointed about the food. Never coming back.
Cool atmosphere but tried to order from the bar, but after I finished my order they said I needed to order from a table. But the bartender had a very snarky attitude about telling me about the servers after taking my order. Don’t go here unless you’re a tourist, poor service.
Me and my friends stumbled across this bar walking back from the subway and it was so odd looking we just had to go in. The inside is like something out of a 90s movie lots of old school stuff. I just ordered a beer the bartender was friendly and served us quick.I would definitely go back
Lots of fun. Bartender was nice. Gets pretty busy and loud later in the night. Had a good burger with tater tots and will try the sloppy joe next time we go back! Not sure about the Mai Tai in a can thing however but they did have interesting looking drinks on the menu.
More of a one-time novelty place than a frequent occurrence, for me. Positives include super crispy tater tots, comfortable bar stools with backs, and enough knick knacks and mannequins to keep your amusement for at least one drink. Negatives include super limited tap beer options and a general dingy feel which may be intentional and part of the whole trailer park theme but was unappealing to me.
I came here because from outside looked a fun place, best choice everThe place is fantastic and particular, the food is really good and has a lot of flavor and in general is Relaxing and Chill coming here and eat something with a friendBut most importantly, the stuff is perfect, nice and gentle, my server LeeAnn was marvelousI will come back for sure
The bad: The drinks were as expensive as they are weak. Perhaps thats part of the charm? The amazing: I honestly dont know what makes this place so great, but it is! Great service, the ambience is everything, I just loved being here! Will be bringing everyone I know here, perhaps with a little flask.
Just experienced the most rude bar tender I have ever encountered. We tried ordering a drink after waiting for a while and he immediately snapped at us and walked away. He was rude to everyone around us as well. This is really unfortunate, I wouldnt expect this kind of behavior especially after being closed for so long due to the pandemic. Its a real shame this place could have potential.
What a bar! Neon central with so many crazy things to look at. Service was really friendly and recommended Stillhouse bourbon to warm us up and it certainly did. Chatted to a local called George who had some great stories to tell and made us feel very welcome (and told us about StillHouse)...
I don’t know if the bar tender was having a bad night or what since other people seem to have had good experiences but I have never received such RUDE service before. The guy snapped at me as soon as a tried to order my first drink. Maybe he thought I was someone else? Because it was completely unwarranted. Anyways it kind of ruined the night
This place is one of my favorite places in New York, let alone Midtown. They have no fewer than three velvet Elvis paintings, a portion of their bar is actually the booths from a bowling alley, and they always have at least two slushy alcoholic drinks, which they are not joking about the alcohol part. The bartenders are always really friendly and funny and talkative. And almost everyone in there is in a good and fun mood. You can go there and be alone and look around that place and be entertained for so long. Or you can go with friends and get their loaded tater tots, imagine a mountain of perfectly cooked, crispy tater tot with all of your favorite nacho dressings piled on top. The place is reliably good.
I always have a great time at this place. The decor is amusing, the crowd is diverse and the drinks and food are good. It is a great place that doesnt take itself seriously. Fun atmosphere overall. I love their Trailer Park Draft beer and their tater tots... a great place to meet up with a friend or two and just have an easygoing night!
That chick behind the bar makes great margaritas and she is wait on table too.I had the chicken philly with sweet potato fries and my buddy had a burger with tater tots, both were really good.. But I really loved the margaritas on the rocks with salt. Ill be back.Oh and the decor, yup tacky as all get out, but its expected.
Awesome atmosphere that is very much so Americana - hard to find a place like this elsewhere in the city. They do have a limited selection of beers and liquor compared to other spots, but this is just a fun spot to hangout at. Very quirky on all levels, but enjoyable for a few drinks!
This place has interesting history and certainly a unique kitschy ambiance, but the drink selection is terrible. Theres nothing remotely appealing on the menu, very small beer selection, and its overpriced at that. And while some may find the atmosphere refreshingly different, I find it unpleasant, far too tacky and loud and busy (Im talking about the decor, not the volume or crowd level) to be enjoyable.
Service was insanely rude. Tried to force us each to buy food (party of 12) even though we intended to buy many rounds of drinks. We had been a few times before. They dont have good food. They have a cool atmosphere and affordable drinks. When we acquiesced, we were told we could not stay and were forced out anyway. We were not drunk or disruptive, we were polite. The waitstaff (only one person working) was incredibly condescending and patronizing. I never write reviews, but in this case, I made an exception.
This bar nails the upstate NY trailer park food and the dive bar feel. The staff was very friendly and the happy hour deals were reasonable for Manhattan prices. The place was decked out with random collectibles (my favorite was the KFC fire log with all 11 herbs and spices). My only complaint is that they dont have hamburger helper. Oh and for you big city folks, they veganized some recipes so you can eat vegetables.Also. Tater tots.
I LOVE TRAILER PARK!!! This is hands down my favorite bar in NYC. Its so silly and kitschy and fun. The decor is ridiculous! Its like a museum of ratchet Americana lol. The bartenders are friendly, and the crowd is low key. Its really casual. You could wander in for happy hour and stay all night! Literally every element of this bar is curated to perfection. I have no complaints, only praise and compliments! Everyone should try this super fun spot!!!
As soon as you walk into this place the decor instantly transports to a low rent and even lower class environment. Plastic chairs, tacky artwork, and classic trailer park decor, minus the pink flamingos (changeling John Waters), make this place so much fun to be in.The staff was super friendly and very tentative. The dining area is cozy so its easy to get their attention when needed. And above the great personalities they work on a NYC type schedule. It only took about 15-18 minutes from ordering to the food being served. As pretty much any restaurant in NYC, the margaritas are a little pricey, about $7-$9 a pop depending on flavor. If you get there during their happy hour, M-F 4-8PM, the price drops to about $5-$7 and the beer to $3!Definitely a must go if youre thinking about it. I suspect you wont be disappointed.
If you have an affinity for tater tots, you will not regret your decision to come in. This being one of my boyfriends favorite bars, I have been quite a few times and am never disappointed. If you are the type for fruity drinks, youll be very happy with the cocktail menu. If youre more of a plain whiskey or beer drinker like myself, I stick to the beers they offer.Despite the fact that I do find this bar fun, kitschy, and all around good, I think its a bit over priced. Perhaps I feel this way now because I saw that a High Life is $6.50 - That is robbery, even for champagne. ;)
Its kitschy and the decor is way over the top, but no respectable bar crawl could ever leave this place out, even if it is for a can of Schaefers beer! The chili mac and cheese over tater tots is good, but the kitchen is somewhat inconsistent. At any rate, I don;t come here to eat, but to have a couple drinks and just look around. The manager is a very friendly man and animal lover.
Love the vibe and aesthetic of this joint. Busy on weekends, expectedly, but casual place to meet a friend or two after work. Love the “Mother-in-Law’s Revenge “ burger, basically a Mexican ingredients topped with chili burger and sour cream in the side. Perfectly hits the spot.
Five friends and I came in on a Saturday just before 4. Happy hour didnt start until 4, but our waitress was nice enough to honor the prices. It was $7 margaritas, and I think $4 PBRs (not many happy hour options). It is an interesting atmosphere. It really does look like it could be a trailer park in there. Theres all sorts of weird decorations. It looks like they cleaned out someones house from an episode of Hoarders: Buried Alive. Although the bar was empty when we were there, I can see it getting packed during weekday happy hours. I probably wouldnt come back unless I wanted to bring out of towners.Tip - the tater tots are really good. But then again, what fried oily food isnt?
Talk about making customers feel unwelcomed. My husband and I walked inside to have a drink. The bar had room for us. But a regular at the bar was taking extra seats for himself. Not because he was waiting on anyone only because he was rude. The manager nor the bartender asked him to move his bag n coat. So after waiting some time we left. Good management you lost the establishment money that day.
Weve been here a few times but always end up regretting not choosing another spot.. I can see how some people enjoy it - happy hour drinks, different vibe than youll find in most places.. but I find it a bit grimy. I dont necessarily enjoy how old everything looks because it also looks uncared for and dirty..Last time their windex which looked old too with paper towels were thrown on top of their photobooth in plain sight which bothered me a little seeing.. and the salt on my margarita tasted like table salt instead which, if you drink margaritas, you can tell is very different than whats normally put on the rim.The hot sauce on the table looked like hot sauce that hadnt been replenished or used in years! The kind you might find in the way back of your pantry all brown and old looking instead of reddish!.. I think the best thing about this place in my opinion are the tater tots.. but I cant eat them without ketchup.. which I dont trust here
Such a fun spot for a group over some delicious grub in Chelsea. The whole bar looks like the outside of a super kitschy trailer park, and the food is as divey as you’d expect. They legit have a screen door on this place, it’s rad. Also kind of a in spot to bring family who are up for something a bit more fun than upscale.
Service was not great to begin with, then I saw a mouse scamper across the restaurant. The waitress seemed nonplussed. The bartender offered my partner and I free drinks and when we declined, he comped the lemonades we ordered (which were definitely Countrytime or something like that). I will never go back there and do not recommend it.
This place is delightfully camp and resplendent in its white-trash pride. Great margaritas by the pitcher, and the food is exactly the right level of snacky and delicious. Decor is especially inventive - we were sitting at a table made out of a bowling return lane :) I dont think Id come here for a sit down dinner, but its perfect for after-work drinks!
Kitsch at its finest. Greasy food served with highly potent margaritas by a waitress with an outfit right out of Jersey Shore. Nice tunes and a nice ambiance produce one very unusual experience of eating next to a newspaper cutting about Monica Lewinsky. You dont go here for great food, you go here for a retro feel. And boy did we get it!
Went here on a weekday with a friend. We sat at a table to eat and the bartender came over to use and told us “you can’t just sit here you have to order something,” which is what we were there to do. He came back quickly and asked us what we wanted to drink and we ordered sodas, which he didn’t seem very happy about but whatever, we went there for food. I grabbed him to tell him we were ready to order food, which he was seemingly surprised by and we ordered. He was actually very friendly from that point on just not very welcoming at the beginning. The burgers were superb and so were the fries. I haven’t ever really done this but I ordered a second burger even though I was full! Haha!
An authentically kitchy bar and restaurant with tex-mex and tiki vibes. The walls are festooned with vintage oddities, and lit with Christmas lights. This place has a black velvet painting of Elvis, sure, but its also got a small shrine to the bounty hunter Dog.The drinks are reasonably priced (especially the $7 happy hour margarita) but the beer selection limited to the standards--the fanciest brew is probably a Pork Slap, and thats fine. The food is at New York prices, but served generously. The menu covers a variety of comfort foods (chilimac and chicken salad BLT, etc) sure to please. Get the tatter tots in any configuration.
I’ve lived in New York for my whole life, and this was the worst bar I have ever been to. Bartenders and patrons were rude and feeding their dog chicken bones at the bar. The place was empty (I’m talking 1/4 full). There were at least 7 open tables. The staff would not let our party of 6 sit at empty tables without ordering food. When we moved empty bar stools near a bar table to accommodate our group , we were met with “indiscreet” passive-aggressive comments like “cant wait until they f***king leave” and “can you believe this s**t?” We voiced our discontent within the group (to ourselves, probably a little too loudly) and then they served an obligatory 20% gratuity on our one drink each. When my girlfriend went to the bathroom, there was a woman passed out on the floor and blocking the door (they were notified of this and didn’t care). I’d let all this pass if the bar were packed, but it was essentially dead. Basically I’ll say it like this: these are the kinds of businesses that deserve to starve in this city. 1 Star for creative decor though...I’ve been to actual trailer parks that are friendlier and more open-minded than this sorry excuse for a bar.
Super cute querky place, I was really excited about having a drink here so it was really unfortunately the waitress was rude. Four of us wanted a drink, we sat at one of the unbundant empty tables at 9:30pm and we’re told we can’t drink there. We weren’t ushers or pointed to the drinking area. Just rudely told we can’t drink at the tables. Found our way to the drinking area but there weren’t enough chairs, I asked for one extra chair and the waitress ignored me. Really soured my night.
Trash bar in front of the Chelsea hotel. They mostly have hamburgers, good ones. The place is overdecorated with trash objects and Elvis pictures. Rock and roll, baby! They put great music and make good drinks.A little pricey but great food and really original and trash atmosphere.
Overall poor experience. Our waitress kept making trips back to the table, pestering us to order more, even though we had already ordered a round of drinks and nachos for the table. We were given the bill before we asked for it and were told we had been sitting there for more than 30 minutes which was apparently too long. Generally feel that this experience was made truly unpleasant by our waitress.
One of NYC’s kitschiest places. I’m actually surprised that it’s lasted so long with the current state of commercial real estate greed. I do hope it stays open for a lot longer as it’s nice to have a place like this. Food is not great but it hits the spot when you crave a divey calorie laden feast. Nachos are good and so are their tots. Servers have always been super cool but the grumpy bartender man is awful so I always get a table.
Id give it a worse review if it werent for the waitress (because she was friggin spectacular and on point tonight) but the bartender definitely does not seem capable of handling this work. He is not able to multi-task, places incorrect orders for patrons and acted disresepctful, not towards me (in the middle of it all I thought it was hilarious) but towards my friends his attitude was unacceptable. He did not create a welcoming environment for customers, and other patrons chipped in and said he was annoying. Personally, I dont think he was annoying but rather rough on the edges and not customer service oriented. Extremely blunt and not nice it hurts. But hes an old guy, I mean give him a break.
The decor is great, but we had a rude waitress who kept pestering us to order more food even after we paid for an overpriced pitcher and bar snacks. She insisted that tables should not be occupied for more than 30 minutes, but did not pressure any other table around us to leave except for our POC majority table.
Perfect for what it is and intends to be. Don’t complain, it told you what it was before you arrived. One does not name oneself Trailer Park and promise manicured lawns and access roads without potholes and puddles. This is a space for necessity—booze and salted food. Take your complaints elsewhere to someone who wants to hear them, perhaps to ya mother’s co-op. We’ve settled in and don’t want to listen to you ask for a clean glass. Get out and take your lapdog with you...I’m sorry, that’s your husband? Well, off to HIS mother’s apartment if you will. We have serious business to complete today at The Park, and it all involves finding the bottom of these bottles. Say “hi” to your Ma for me.
Its a cute idea to have a trailer park themed bar. But in practice I dont actually want to see a cockroach skuttle off under the fake trailer. The only reason this is a 2 star and not a 1 star is the kindness and attentiveness of the (albeit bit frazzled) bartender.Drinks are limited to margaritas pumped full of syrup and beer cans straight from the ice filled bath tub.
GREAT PLACE!! What a bloody RELIEF to find a Real, honest- to-god kick back bar & grill. Belly up, those of you who remember how things were back in the day, and enjoy some priceless, free-piped in rock n roll over head, some decent bar chat, etc. And ask for Amy ~ nicest barmaid this side of Thompkins Square Park. THREE CHEERS. (P.S. Bartender Christopher- not so much.) Crazy, antique, collectibles & signs adorn & make the place pretty darn priceless! Check it OUT!
Have been here many times due to the close proximity to my office. Perfect for a long boozy lunch. The food fits the name of the place, hot dogs, sloppy joes, tater tots, grilled cheese. It is all greasy and all good. Cheap PBR cans are a staple. Be careful with margarita pitchers, we once ordered a few during lunch and later found out they were almost $50 each. However, they were mostly tequila, which softened the blow (and also made any post-lunch working impossible). The waitress who is there during lunch (Cheryl/Sheila/Peggy, I cant remember) is a real gem.
BIGGEST BEST HOT DAWGG EVAA!!! The drinks are wet, the food is hot, and the staff are very fun and entertaining!! This place has the most amazing tater tots loaded w anything u can imagine, juiciest veggie quesadillas, and crispiest bacon I’ve ever had. Trailer park will truly put a smile on ur face!
Awful. Its a yucky tourist trap w horrible drinks and honestly..really poor service. We ordered food and the waitress forgot our order and never acknowledged. We also had to ask for the check 3 times. Whoever owns or mansges this place should be embarrassed at themselves. This place is a disaster. Avoid at all costs.
HORRIBLE THE WORST PLACE IN NYC!!! GUYS Please avoid this place!!! Dont ever come here. I was kicked out this lounge w/o any reason just because the bartender asked me once for my ID and the music was loud I couldnt hear him, he told me and my friends to leave the bar. He is RUDE as hell please dont ever visit this place, this happened on 10/26/2017 at 11:30 p.m. he was also treating like trash two other girls seating right next to us, he was a white 50sh old man be aware.
I love this place! Its kitchy, with knick knacks all over the place. Very retro 50s/60s. And there is a true trailer against the wall. Great Margheritas. A definite must during happy hour. Its right across the steet from a movie theater on 23rd street. Great for a quick bite before a movie or visa versa. Visit at least once. You can wear jeans and sneakers. Go as you are.
Like stepping into an episode of Mamas Family.Only, Mamas bottle of Vanilla is on sale and her pink flamingoes are inside.I put out a cigarette in the toilet out front, walked in and sat in front of the tear drop airstream and drank a glass of Bourbon. The non-functional Christmas lights added to the ambience.
Wow, I wrote my review before seeing that everyone else loves the same things about this place as I do!I love the kitschy-ness of Trailer Park and the super bad-for-you-but-delicous comfort dishes, like TATER TOTS!The happy hour specials cant be beat, with ice cold beer served in lovely mugs that seem neverending with the cheap prices. The staff is always friendly, which is nice, because you never know what youll find in a trailer park. Oh, and take photos with the trailer!!!
Drinks and finger food. Hilariously delicious. They had bucket drinks and those kind of fun things and for food tater tots, nachos, hotdogs etc. The interior is so funny with all these vintahe posters and random hula gear, elvis inpersonator pics and such. It seemed like a fun little spot. It did seem a little pricey but just because its a trailer park bar doesnt mean its trailer park prices. Youre paying for the portions. That was a ton of tater tots for just one order. We didnt even ger through half of them! Anywho, it was a great spot.
Management is very rude and disrespectful to patrons. Service is non existent, and if not you’d like to order food make sure to call ahead because you can’t sit down unless you pre warn entire staff. On top of the terrible service, especially from manager, prices are unreasonable. Don’t be tempted by the facade - extremely unprofessional.
We entered because the sign said $5 margarita. After asking the waitress, she said yes and we bouhgt 3. At the end we were charged 6,50 + tax per margarita. Then, we decided to leave less tip and she came back asking for an explanation; she insisted she explained to us the deal...whatever.

2021-12-24Came here around 7pm. Waiter was polite. The sweet potato fries, tater tots and burger were hot and tasty. However, the blue pitcher drink (not pictured) seemed a bit watered down as it had too much ice. My friend who ordered the veggie mac and cheese did not enjoy it and returned it without eating it. I was surprised the waiter did not ask why they returned the plate so full. The music in the restaurant was a bit too loud but not to the point where you cant concentrate.

2022-04-04Came here at 10:30. The waiter said you better pick a spot we are closing soon. They were closing in an hour and a half. While I went to the restroom the bartender proceeded to tell the people I was with that he wouldn’t serve me cause I was drunk which I was not. I was sober and acting sober. Totally full of himself and obviously doesn’t want to make the bar money. Cool decorations and that’s the only positive thing I can say. He kept bragging how he used to be at the other end of the bar for 16 years and is now the bartender. Great accomplishment!

2022-01-12My wife and I loved our evening at Trailerpark lounge last week. Its deliciously quirky - everywhere you look is something fun and interesting to discuss. We felt at home in the decor and Lauren was such a nice waiter (she deserves a raise). The food and the drinks were excellent as well - I recommend the Corona margarita and the grilled cheese. There wasnt too many people that night, support them in these difficult times!

2022-04-25This place is an absolute gem. I’ve had such a great time every time I’ve been to Trailer Park, but especially on my most recent visit. The bartender, LA, was fantastic. She was kind, welcoming, and made coming in for a solo drink feel like a party you’d been invited to personally.Come for a margarita, stay for the excellent vibes, and be sure to grab some tater tots because the drinks are stronger than they taste.

2021-08-16I’m outside. On a patio. In the middle of the sidewalk in the center of Chelsea. It’s amazing. Nothing about this is bad. The prices are great. The food is great. Come here if you have the opportunity. Nothing like it.

2021-06-24Quirky and great place to have a good time. The staff was very friendly, the drinks were amazing, and the food was scrumptious. The menu is rather limited, but thats part of the charm.
