Positive: Location Negative: Everything.All it was was a bed and TV.Very old and no upkeep Soap tray in shower falling off wall.No amenities that were described.NOTHING.I cannot believe Wyndham puts their name behind this place We stayed in a Travelodge in Iowa that was really nice.

The beds in the room were obviously broken and made noises if you turned around and there were bugs in the bathroom. We went to the manager of the place to request a new room and he was disrespectful and said most of the beds are all the same.
Positive: The staff was professional. Negative: The bathtub clogging, the sink clogging, there was a few hairs in the sheets so we bought our own sheets, and on the headboard of the bed there was a white substance. Its a sketchy motel.

This is not walking distance to the ferry. The shower door would not slide in the tracks and I got stuck in the shower. Sink was pulling off the wall. Beds are not at all comfortable.
The bed was comfy and large. The TV was large, though we didnt use it. Access to downtown Bay Shore, the LIRR station, and the Fire Island ferry is okay on foot: there are sidewalks, but its a 20 to 30 minute walk. They provide filtered water in the lobby, but no coffee or breakfast.The pipes were loud and we could hear flushing from other units. The bedroom had a chemical smell, so we had to leave the windows open at night, but then it was a bit loud due to proximity to the street. There was no pedestrian access to the hotel, so we had to walk 60 feet on a dark alley with car traffic to enter the hotel from the street, even though there is a sidewalk along the street right outside. The check-in was unfriendly: the person didnt give us any information, and when we asked where the room was located (there are several buildings), they just mumbled an answer. The staff had a dog in front of the no pets allowed sign.
Cockroaches in bathroom, shower door fell off when opening, cabi etc all chipped up and bathroom sink was falling off the wall. For $120 plus tax, this wS no bargain.
Rooms are run down and dirty ..bathrooms are falling apart the furniture has water damage and pictures on wall had broken glass just left inside frame ..the front desk guy is nasty ..and they have bed bugs ...like bad infestation...
Older male individual with glasses at front desk has attitude problems. Don’t work a customer service job if you hate working for customers.
Stayed one night on a rate special assuming this location would be consistent with other Travelodge locations Ive stayed at in the past. This was not the case, unfortunately. The facilities here are highly outdated, the staff is borderline hostile and suspicious of guests, and my room was disgustingly dirty with dead insects on the floor, stains on the walls, dust everywhere, and a filthy bathroom with mold and mildew stains throughout. This room would have been unacceptable at half the price charged. It looked like the room hadnt been cleaned for quite some time. These facilities are obviously intended only for short stays if you catch my drift, and even that would be a stretch unless you are incredibly desperate. Having stayed at almost every hotel in eastern Nassau and western Suffolk, this was one of the worst overall and definitely the absolute worst housekeeping Ive seen outside of a college dormitory. To charge as much as they did for this is/was a travesty. Will never return.

Beds are old & not comfortable. Blankets & towels are scratchy. Size of room is good. Bathroom is kinda worn down, & can see many dead bugs in random corners throughout the room. I’ve seen hotels for the same price look much better.
Yes....we all know the bad rep these low budget motels have.lol...but my 1 day stay was great.Clean sheets,bathroom,mini fridge,microwave,basic cable,uninterrupted wifi.
Roaches actually crawled on me and my children throughout the night not just the floor. The manager refused to offer any compensation even with pictures. A simple, sorry that happened. They charged us 170 to sleep with roaches.
I truly enjoyed my stay at Travelodge Bay Shore. The hotel was very clean. Everyone was attentive and also friendly. The breakfast was scant. A boiled egg and a roll would have been nice. I am a diabetic.and the donuts were all sweet. I must say the bed was very comfortable. Would certainly come again

Stay away from a bad experience. Period. The one star rate is because no star wouldt allow me to write this and warn you! Filthy walls. Filthy floors. Barelly standing shower stalls. Nicotine spots running off the walls. Cigarrete burned mattresses, shower has to be manipulated extensibly to get your desired temperature, questionable people walking in and out of the hotel premises, unchecked and unchallenged. I could keep describing my personal nightmare but You get the idea. Sorry, for the place is very centric to the Bayshore area and I could call its location priviledged.
I gave this place 1 star, because you cant give none. The room was gross, there was bugs crawling on the wall. The pull out was basically a blanket over two metal bars. The room was over 170$ because of the holidays, certainly was not worth it. I would rather sleep in my car than stay here again. No thank you.
The lodge is pretty good. Just make sure you dont get a smoking room by mistake. The smoking room smells a lot. We got that by mistake, but it still turned out good. The breakfast was good as well
Not the newest place, but good if you need a quick place to stay. The AC is nice and cold!
Denied my service dog access despite being reminded that it is federal law by the ADA and was discriminated against simply due to the fact that i didnt pay for the room. Hot water barely works, troubles getting in to the room. (DENYING access thinking my.dog was in there) very uneducated, disrespectful people. Dont waste your money somewhere where they cant abide by the lawWill.keep updated in the legal action pursued
It was OK I mean the room was great but smelled terrible if cigarettes, which was my fault because I booked a smoke friendly room by mistake. Also the room was a bit more expensive than last year. The staff was friendly too!
Great little hotel. The interior seemed like they were recently renovated, beds were comfy and the room very clean. Great continental breakfast from 6am to 10am. Great place for the price.
We read the reviews and thought how bad could it be? I walked in was greeted by no one for over 5 minutes and walked out. The lobby speaks for itself. If you cant take care of one room moderately well how can you take care of several?

I love this place. The décor and privacy is wonderful as well as the staff. This is my second time staying here and would recommend this to anyone. Its clean, neat, quiet and decorated wonderfully. I would recommend staying here with no reservation at all. It is my sanctuary.
Comfortable, clean, and reasonably priced.. When they say check out is at 11, they mean 11.. Not a minute after lol but still a great hotel definitely recommend it.
Very clean and quiet. Rooms are small and dated except for the 40 inch flatscreen TV. Good value for the money.
This hotel dont even deserve one star but i had to give something to write this review. The owner of this hotel was very very rude and was not willing to help with the questions that my husband and i had. I booked the room through expedia because of fates howevet oncd i booked the room the owner said i had to wait until 2pm to check in but there was a guy in front of md who got his immediately so i asked y and he said because he paid 50 cash for 2 hours and yours was only 89 becsuse expedia took the rest so since im not getting much money out of me i would need to wait until 2. I cancled my reservation and left.

Open condom wrapper in the room and pubic hair all over the toilet juice stains on wall beds are finished room smells like piss for the price you get what u pay for two beds microwave and fridge but not clean family owned and they can’t possible clean the rooms every toilet is dirty but the people are nice and live on sight husband and wife

We reserved a room for 11am, paid for... arrived at 11am and was told that the room would be ready in 10 minutes......we didnt get into the room until after 3pm!!!!!!!!! They dont deserve 1 🌟... ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.... I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE......EVER!!!!!!!!!

As I was checking out they had knocked on my door five times and called the room twice it was only 11:00 worst place ever this place should be shut down why are there only 2 dirty motels in Bayshore why dont they have more upscale hotels like holy cow.
This was one of the nastiest motels Ive ever stayed in beds where where from the 1950s and the bathroom was so nasty I had to clean it to use it plus it cost 110$$
Clean but dated looking. Dont like the tile floor in the room they are very slippery.

The coffee pot for the coffee maker in the room was missing, there was no coffee in the room & there were no paper cups in the bathroom. It was overpriced.

Who has marble tiles in a place that gets up to 20 feet of snow in winter? Secondly.. housekeepings non existent, had to use wet wipes to clean counter surfaces etc. Broken bathroom fixtures!

2021-07-291. Room was dirty.2. The room was the size of a tiny broom closet.3. There were bugs in the room.4. There was NO hot water.5. The room had a really bad smell, like really dirty smell.6. Desk clerks acted as if they did not care.This hotel is only 15 minutes from my daughter and granddaughter who I am on vacation to see. I checked out this morning and told them I want my money back. The pictures online are a total misrepresentation of what the actual room is. I WILL be calling corporate and complaining. If I could skip the stars and not give it one I would. The place needs to be burned to the ground. Nasty!!
