Could use some updating. It was clean, but the bed was rather uncomfortable and needed more pillows. Only had two pillows that were very flat. The train ran all night and woke me up all through the night...even with the a/c on. The staff was very nice. although the drinks in the bar were a tab bit on the expensive side.
The hotel does need upgrades, but the price fits. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Shower worked well. There is a dingy smell which can be fixed with Lysol or new AC systems. The trains are loud, but you get used to it. Desk clerks, housekeeping, and breakfast person were all VERY friendly!
Old and shabby. Could use an update and floors a good cleaning. Funky smells. Friendly staff. Could hear the train rumbling through, no whistles, no problem. Didnt feel unsafe here either. Bathtub, toilet and sink looked clean. The sheets also. Changing out the carpet and outside doors would improve this place immensely!
For a basic hotel its pretty much only got the fact its clean going for it. One of the younger attendants at the desk was unhelpful when I asked for assistance on the WiFi in our room. When I called another time I was told it could be rest to work which helped tremendously. The breakfast was okay, eggs, toast, bagels and he fries. It was nice being able to walk to some restaurants from the hotel. Although many places are closed on Sundays and Mondays
City of LF. Friendly staff. As clean as possible considering it had a very worn rug with burn patterns in the carpet. No fan in bathroom. Rugs really worn. Floor of shower soft, were thinking wed end up on the first floor. Rooms need a complete redo. Mattresses very worn. We kept rolling into the middle of the bed. New firmer mattresses really needed.
Has friendly staff, rooms clean, good shower, they have a bar and restaurant which the restaurant was really not that great, I had spaghetti and meatballs, came with rolls, everything tasted microwaved? Im away from home, if I wanted microwave food I would go to Walmart and bring it back and nuke it myself. Salad bar was pretty decent and bar was pretty good. Just do the salad bar and drinks, looks like they microwave everything else for food. Sad!
We spent 4 nights there. No extra plug ins. Used bathroom one to plug in our phone. No frig or microwave. But all else was great! Staff was super wonderful. Restraunt was very reasonable and good food. Nice quiet bar. Loved the trains going by. All stores are within walking distance.
We held our wedding reception at the Travelodge this past Sat. I couldnt be happier with the service that we recieved. They were very professional and very helpful. I dont have a bad word to say about them. The food was amazing, the room was spotless and again the safe was incredible.
Called ahead at 9 p.m. after being on the road all day.Was immediately assured Id have a room for the night. Michelle took amazing care of us from the moment we walked in until the moment we left.Room was clean, warm to our liking and the addition of a Hand Cooked plate of complementary eggs in the morning with a cup of coffee was a pleasure.Michelle specifically was 100% attentive to our needs, polite, friendly and treated us like family.Bonus: The A S T H E T I C of this place is amazing.
I gave this 3 stars based on comparing it to a roadside motel. It was unimpressive but served its purpose. The rooms smelled, the wifi was public and spotty, and the bathrooms are antiquated. The front desk staff also have no leverage to make any decisions either in fear of the management or because the management doesnt care about guests and tells the desk to blame everything on management.
We had a reservation for a wedding. Instead of getting the queen bed that we had a room with 2 double beds. They were fully booked and as such we made due. The rooms seemed clean but very dated. Walls were very thin and we could hear our neighbors all night. Bride received room service for the morning of the wedding, and it was mediocre. Overall, not terrible but needs updating desperately.
Nestled away in the beautiful mountains is this very friendly, clean and comfortable hotel in Little Falls, N.Y. with on site very nice restaurant. The food is excellent along with their service and hospitality! In a conveniently located and easy to get to places. We immensely enjoyed our stay and had the opportunity to enjoy the Crystal Grove Diamond Mines only 14 miles away!
Check in was difficult. Clerk was nowhere to be found ( cleaning lady looked for her ) When she returned (several of us waiting ) she had a bit of an attitude. Checking out ( different clerk Sunday AM ) better service . Room could have been prepared better. Very warm and musty. No air system on. Fortunately in was early and we were going out ( turned air on and left for the day) .
We have stayed here twice when traveling to the Adirondacks by motorcycle and have loved the experience both times. Though the room may seem a tad dated, it is highly convenient and comfortable. There is a restaurant on site that serves good food at a reasonable price, and there is a movie theater next door. We can park our motorcycle and everything thing we need is a few steps away. The price is reasonable and the staff are very friendly. Plus, they have a REAL four cup coffee machine in the room, which is very important to me......I hate pod machines and bring my own coffee to brew ... pure coffee snob that I am :-). If you stay here you wont regret it!
Low price Great Service. I enjoyed my stay here, the wonderful thing about this location is that its connected to a really cool Movie theater. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The town is small and quaint and the hotel is very accommodating. Nice rooms, very clean.
Every time I have stayed here in the past was always a good experience. The staff is always congenial, and the room is as nice as it can get without it being up to remodeled/ new standards.that being said, this time I have a gripe. I stayed there on the weekend of the 5, 6 July for a family gathering in the area. I had packed out my car and got distracted by a family member and got talking, having left a custom box of special chocolates on the dresser next to the TV and then signed out.NOW, when you sign in, they ask the information... Name, car and license description, phone number, if email address is correct .. yada yada.I left and went up to visit my family for the rest of the day. When I was getting ready to hit the road I realized I left that $20 dollar box of chocolate, that I had bought for someone on my trip up from NC on one of my stops along the way to visit other family members. SO I called them to find out. The man said hed check , so instead of waiting for a response, I drove down there in case it was there.NOPE. The housekeeper said she threw it out. - an unopened specialized box of chocolates from a chocolatier downstate. They NEVER bothered calling my number or sending an email... both of which I would have received on my cell phone and could have gone back to get it ( because I was still in the area until after 2:30 pm.)I have received calls from other hotels I have stayed at leaving behind Kids toys in the past or a baby blanket, or a bracelet, and I have been lucky enough to be able to go back and pick up my items even hours later, because usually when we stay in hotels it is in the area of family and we usually spend a few hours or more hanging out with them before we take our trip onward. So I am disappointed, and the person I bought the chocolates for ( that I told them I would) was disappointed.SO why ask for a customers phone number/ email IF you are not going to use it to contact them in the event something is left behind.SO this time Customer service really Lacked! And When I got there - the man at the desk was doing not too much. Now granted earlier he probably had a lot of sign- outs, but you would think that customer service would be better.
Whenever Prudy and visit my hometown of Little Falls, we stay at the quaint Knights Inn. We have found it to be consistently comfortable and clean. True, it is not an modern resort, but neither is our home. We judge cleanliness as the number one factor for our stays in hotels. At one motel where we had checked in there was rouge and a scent of perfume on one of the pillows that apparently had not been changed, yet the facility was fairly modern. The Knights Inn staff members are friendly and always seem willing to insure satisfaction. The restaurant food is very good, well flavored, while resembling the essence of homemade cooking at the group-meeting dinners (mainly class reunions) we had attended over the years. In previous years when Little Falls was in its prime, the restaurants were known to serve good food. Knights Inn is obviously maintaining this tradition, we believe, much to the enjoyment of many.John and Prudy DeLuisi
So far not bad. Spend several nights in this hotel working on a project in Little Falls. They should get there spotty WiFi fix this week. Something wrong with the access points but overall I have connectionEdit 12/09 still did not fix the WiFi issues from last week. Not happy.Edit back for the past two weeks and WiFi seems to be corrected. I will increase my rating back to 3 stars.Back again and so far so good with the WiFi. Returning in two week if still ok will re post.
Feedback from our client T Murph was just what we were looking for when we sent him to this Travelodge...an great bang for the buck. The biggest thing we look for is cleanliness, which is what our client talked about. He also enjoyed the staff and the fact that the propertys connected to a movie theater.Based on his review, well gladly send more clients to the Travelodge Little Falls.

2022-07-02Travelodge (Wyndham) in Little Falls NY is in an awesome location, right in the town center, very close to restaurants, bars and adjacent to a movie theater! The front desk staff was very friendly and informative about stuff going on in town. But this hotel is in need of a re-investment and renovation by the parent chain. COVID has been tough, but very few extras such as only coffee and no breakfast. IN room amenities are fine; fridge and micro wave. As is its really a motel, and quite fine at that. If Wyndham re-invested in this property it could be a jewel.

2022-06-17Positive: Easy walking distance to downtown restaurants, convenience stores, laundry, etc. Also easy to reach from the Erie Canal bike path as well as from the highway. Negative: The rooms (even numbered) on the train track side have a noise issue. Its a busy line and a small town, so it will be an issue for light sleepers at any local hotel, but windows facings away from the tracks will be quieter.

2022-04-02Positive: Convenient location if you find yourself in Little Falls without a place to stay. Close to everything there. Negative: Smoking was outlawed indoors in 2003. The hallway reeked of it. That green crusty carpet needs to be replaced!! It set a bad tone. Room was fine. Fitted sheets didn¿t fit and kept snapping off the corners. Didn¿t sleep well.

2022-03-26It was ok. Brought our PlayStation to hook up to wifi for Netflix and games but internet wouldnt connect...forgot the exact message that came up on TV but was something to the likes of basically thats not allowed lol. TV selections were very slim. Had to change rooms due to ants but thats understandable cause our 1st room was right next to outside door plus they took care of it immediately. Not all rooms with 2 double beds have a mini fridge and microwave which we needed and did get but maybe you have to ask? Idk but didnt cost any extra. Staff was very friendly. In both rooms we found a little garbage left from previous guests, one being a few pieces of moldy bread that had expired over a month ago. But all that was only found by chance when moving dresser and stand out to plug something in. So it was all in hard to see places. Clean enough other than that.beds are comfy. Shower is good. Coffee offered in room with the 4 cup pot they provide was better than no coffee at all but the Keurig machine in the front lobby where you can get free cups of good coffee and a few different options was way better. Theres a vending machine with a few selections for snacks and drinks. Overall was satisfied and will be back. A big plus was the cleaning crew in the mornings are so sweet, funny, friendly, while still getting their work done. Also right next to shopping and movie theater and restaurants was a huge plus!

2022-06-28The gentleman working was very nice and friendly. Overall it wasnt a bad hotel. The only issues were the beds were not comfortable at all and we had issues with the internet. All in all though it wasnt the worse and I would stay there again.

2022-05-02Positive: fairly inexpensive Negative: the area was rough. there was a gang turf war at nearby eatery. multiple rooms had constant running toilet issues, one with an overflow in early morning hours, leaking into the room below

2022-05-04Positive: Hotel needs major renovations. Very noisy all night with the train track directly behind the hotel. The train runs about every 15-20 minutes and blows its horn each time. Negative: Price was the best part. Unfortunately it is the only hotel in this city.

2019-07-15First off there are train tracks right behind the hotel and trains that run ALL night. It was extremely loud and not something we got used to. The air conditioning units are horribly loud as well. We could hear the one in the room next to us. The bed was comfortable, washroom was small but the shower was decent. Room was a really good size and fairly clean. The hotel advertises free breakfast however they fail to mention its not free on the weekends. Did not see that mentioned anywhere on the website. The price for breakfast was cheap but thats not the point, its deceiving. Steve at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Lady at breakfast was very nice but very loud. Would never stay there again.
