Dr Ta is an excellent orthodontist for my whole family. She is warm, considerate and provides great services any time. Her office staff are professional and detailed oriented.
Dr. Ta and her team took great care of me. I wore lingual braces for just over a year, and the outcome of my orthodontic treatment was a huge success. I would like to thank Dr. Ta for her skilled care - my teeth look great!
I have TMJ and a complicated case, but Dr.Ta has been very formative from the beginning. She’s very gentle and explains the adjustments she’s making every appointment. I’ve had braces for 5 months now. Although I have a long way to go, I’m seeing progress and she’s been super helpful every step of the way.
I was referred to Dr. Ta by one of my sisters. I have been going to her for almost a year now and it’s always a pleasure. I’m very happy that I chose and trusted her with my Invisalign journey. It’s been going great. Also, her offices are very clean, and the staffs are very friendly.
As a general dentist, I could not be more impressed with our experience with Dr. Ela and her staff. We took our 2 year old son here and he won’t stop talking about going back. Dr. Ela and the staff were kind, gentle, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. She gave us great advice on how to get our son to give up his pacifier and one week later he is pacifier free.

Dr. Ta is an outstanding orthodontist. Her technique has produced amazing results, even with a challenging case, and her manner with patients is calm, reassuring, and kind. Our children also see Dr. Haj, and she is similarly wonderful. The staff at this practice are professional and always a pleasure to interact with. I could not recommend this practice more highly!!!

This is the first time I have been 100% pleased with any doctor I have come across. I am very fortunate to have found Dr.Tah and her amazing staff. I have always had reservations, when interacting with doctors, but Dr.Tah was able to make the experience, so comfortable for myself, and thats what truly matters. Not only is she excellent in her craft, but she always keep a clear and open line of dialogue and always me provide all my options. Her meticulous attention shows in her work and you always leave knowing youre in excellent hands. She is extremely professional and her staff are well trained, and they run the practice smoothly. We love going to see Dr Ta!I have 3 children so I am there alot and I can happily say that I never wait more than 5 minutes. That is an amazing feat which I greatly appreciate. Dr Ta is also amazing with my youngest child, who upon entering her office is always crying because she is afraid, Dr Ta ushers her over to the chair and explains every little details and before we know it, we are all, on our way! Exceptional practice and wonderful treatment, what else do you need, call her!!
Great pediatric orthodontist in quogue! Flexible with times for appointments. Friendly staff! Also does adult dental work too! Dr Ta is knowledgeable and talented.
Dr. Tas office is sleek, modern and has all the cutting edge technology under one roof. Dr. Ta provided a complete picture throughout my sons time wearing orthodontics. Her front office staff and assistants are both warm and professional offering personalized service with a smile. But the real gem of a find is Dr. Ta. Not only is she an exceptional Orthodontist, she is always available for a consultation or question. She made me feel like she really cared about my sons bite and smile.
We are so glad Dr. Ela is seeing pediatric patients at this location now. Dr. Ela has been very considerate with our kids. I also respect her expertise, and am grateful for her honesty. Finding an someone we could trust with our kids dentistry took us quite a few misses. I highly recommend Tribeca North at both locations. The staff is professional and kind. We used to go downtown to see her so the news that she sees patients up here is a blessing. I confidently write this with 2 years experience taking my kids to the Tribeca location.
This place is hands down a God send. My 5 yr old had a terrible experience with a previous dentist. The old dentist could not even get xrays from my son. So I called Tribeca and we met with Dr. Ella. My son LOVES HER. He doesnt want to go anywhere else. She was very patient and kind. She took her time to explain every step. She made him feel secure first and earned his trust. Now he doesnt blink twice about going to the dentist. The rest of the staff is very polite as well. They make you feel at home. Like your going to visit a favorite relative, who also cleans teeth lol.
Dr. Ta is professional and has a great demeanor with children. Shes timely and always fits my kids in for emergencies. She is. currently treating my two daughters who never hesitate to go to their appointments. I highly recommend Dr. Ta and have referred friends already.
My daughter has received excellent care from both Dr. Ta and Dr. Ela with her myriad dental issues - including major spacing issues.Both doctors not only put together a comprehensive plan to address my daughters issues, but they have worked through that plan with not only the highest level of expertise and professionalism, but they have also been very kind to my daughter. As a result she is not afraid to go to the dentist or the orthodontist!I would highly recommend both Dr. Ta and Dr. Ela for extremely complicated (and not so complicated) dental issues.

I had the most amazing experience at the dentist! Dr. Leslie Gazdeck and her dental assistant Gupreet not only did an amazing job with my teeth, but made my visit so fun and easy! As a teenage girl, the dentist is not typically an experience I would be excited to attend but after my appointment with them my view has completely changed! With their amazing attitude and their super fun music Im now looking forward to going to the dentist! 10/10 would recommend!!

I have had such a fabulous experience with Dr. Ta and her staff. I have 7 year old identical twin girls, and when I was told they needed expanders I was very worried, as I felt they were too young. After meeting with Dr. Ta, not only did I know we were in great hands, she convinced me that my little girls were mature enough to handle a removable expander. After giving it much thought, I agreed to go ahead, and I am thrilled to say that she was right. My 7 olds are doing fantastic and have mastered the art of cleaning and taking care of their expander. The best part is that their mouth is not filled with food stuck on the roof and is very sanitary. I could not be happier with our experience and I thoroughly recommend her team to everyone!
Dr. Ela is an amazing doctor! She is so warm and welcoming! My kids absolutely love her bubbling personality and have no issues going to the dentist when I tell them we are seeing her!This office is extremely convenient in the TriBeCa area! I cant recommend them enough!

I walked into Dr. Ta’s office, some 40 years after having braces as a teenager, with crooked bottom teeth, zig-zagged top teeth and a lop-sided bite that left me prone to clenching on one side. I discovered, through the process of wearing braces as an adult, that I am highly sensitive and unable to tolerate much discomfort. It is through Dr. Ta’s deep well of patience and sensitivity along with her brilliance and ingenuity that I walk out today with a much wider, straighter, more even and balanced smile. 2021-04-28I first met Dr. Ta in 2000 when I decided to take the plunge and get braces at age 32. I had been told the process would be quite difficult by other dentists/orthodontists, and might include having my jaw broken so I had always been hesitant. Dr. Ta evaluated me and reassured me that she could help me, that she had a plan that would work without breaking my jaw. I still count meeting her as one of my luckiest and most life-changing moments. She is an absolute genius! It took 2 years and I could not have been happier with my new smile! She gave me a new outlook on life! Since then I have seen her as needed to check in regarding my retainers, etc and she and her staff have always been kind, welcoming and helpful. I just saw her today after probably 4 years for an adjustment on my permanent retainer and it was an extremely efficient yet warm and welcoming visit, like seeing an old friend. I would highly recommend Dr. Ta to anyone! She is the absolute best highly-knowledgeable and skilled orthodontist! A visit with her can be life-changing!

2021-03-30What I like best about Dr Ta is that she looks at every patient as an individual and designs the plan that is right for that child. It’s not one-size-fits-all: she listens to parents (and even asks about their orthodontic history!) and gets to know the child to create an individual plan that is specific to their needs.If you want to know details - In our case, my child had the typical scenario of a small jaw and too many/too large teeth to fit. Most orthodontists would have just gone with a palate expander without a second thought. But Dr Ta realized that a palate expander would not be the appropriate course of action based on his personality and physiology. She listened to us and spoke to him and realized that his low pain and frustration threshold would make the discomfort of a palate expander extremely difficult and disruptive. She looked at his face and then realized that even expanding his jaw to the maximum size would still not allow for enough space for the teeth to come in, necessitating extractions anyway. She suggested going with serial extractions to eliminate the painful palate expansion process and it has worked wonderfully. We appreciate her thinking creatively, saving my child unnecessary pain. The baby teeth were removed, the permanent teeth that came in were removed and now his canines have dropped into the space and it all looks wonderful.In addition to her skill and experience, the front office staff and orthodontic technicians are efficient and polite and very good at what they do. We are so happy we are with Dr Ta and would recommend her to anyone looking for a smart, creative and compassionate orthodontist.

2021-02-19I could not be happier with the experience that my family has had at Tribeca North. The office is modern and clean, the staff professional and the dental care exceptional. I have been impressed with the approach that Dr Ta has taken in my daughters orthodontic case. She has taken into regard my concerns every step of the way. Her experience and expertise have produced wonderful results and I am so happy we chose her to treat my family. Dr Ela and Dr Mermelstein, the pediatric dentists there, are also wonderful. I still cant believe they are able to get my 5 year old son to sit through an entire appointment without incident!

2021-03-21I have been seeing Dr. Ta and her team for a couple of years now, and they provide excellent service each visit. Appointments are easy to make and easier to reschedule - her team makes every effort to accommodate schedules and emergencies. I rarely experience a wait upon arrival for an appointment, and usually fewer than 5 minutes, if that. Dr. Ta is thorough and straightforward; she answers any questions you may have about your treatment. She is also flexible with options when available. Both the UES and TriBeca offices are clean, welcoming, and comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Ta and her team for your orthodontic needs!
