Ive only ever gotten their Avacolada and Island Detox. The island Detox is not too good, but my wife and I love the Avacoladas...usually. seeing as they make them fresh, depending on how busy and the person making the smoothie, sometimes theyre watery and mostly ice, but usually theyre made well.For the longest time ordering online was annoying as no one would give you the pickup order unless you waited on line, until I finally asked the manager and she told me to just walk up to the side bar and grab someones attention for a pickup. Ive tried that once so far and it worked out well.The smoothies arent cheap, but not also not so expensive.
Great smoothies, very nice staff, spacious space and ample parking outside. Variety of smoothies is huge and they have a lot of other yummy healthy foods to choose from. They also have seating, if youd like to meet up with a friend. This is my stop to get hydrated before I attack nearby HomeGoods! lol Taking away one star because I think the smoothies are a bit too pricey. If they would reduce the price a bit, this place would be perfect.
Can I give zero? I work for a car dealership and twice Ive had incidents with these people being rude. You have to spend $40 for them to even deliver to you. Then we made an order and they forgot two smoothies. My coworker told me they were going to send mine, I called to ask if I could get splenda before they send it. I said, you know how I usually get it, since the owner knows my name. The OWNER answers and starts yelling at me. I was confused, I was told youre going to bring it.. He said NO (yelling) and that hes not going to drive 15 miles to deliver it. 15 miles where?! Were in East Hills and they are in Port Washington. We also order at least 3 times a week from them.( Picking it up ourselves too) I started saying, this is really bad customer service. I didnt once raise my voice at him. Were constantly having issues with this store. A co-worker called back and the owner left. So we spent over $55 and two people dont have the drinks they asked for...( We also pay the delivery fee and make sure we have enough for them to deliver..) I cant wait for the Carle Place location to open.
They tried to sell me a smoothie that was over two hours old... When I asked how old it was the first few employees said they just made it, wasnt until I spoke to another employee who told me they had made it hours ago. Um, ew?

Not that good and I love green smoothies just not from kids who have no idea what they are putting in your drink or what is its purpose is for in your body...
Im here for lunch and there are only *2* people working. They are apparently taking orders over the phone first and letting the line accumulate. They need to hire more people and help these employees out.

2022-05-13I asked for a hummus veggie wrap. I specifically said no avocado and very less on the lettuce. As you can see in the picture there is a lot of lettuce. And on top of that. For some odd reason it took 15 minutes to make my order. While girls were talking. I had to tell the girl in Spanish, and to my surprise she looked at me and surprised that I knew Spanish. To let her know that the girl said that it was ready. On top of that, the wrap itself completely was not wrapped fully. And all of the lettuce fell. There was hardly any rice, or beans. I don’t understand what is up with this place. But for the past couple of months. They be putting less and less beans on it

2022-06-30Every time I get my smoothie, it tastes different. I only get one type of smoothie and it never tastes the same. Not only does it taste different each time, but the consistency is either too watery or too thick.

2022-03-31Online I’m up next girl says to person behind me can I help you that girl said that I’m next thnk her asked for chia banana n strawberry took the girl at register like 7 real minutes to figure it out n cudnt count or give correct change ok other person making it I politely asked not all ice to be frozen it’s March I got handed a a cup a little over 1/2 filled now I’ve had this same thing a lot times full of ingredients n not all ice so I asked to have a full smoothie not 2/3 a cup got it back all water tasted like water not enough of Wuts supposed to be put in it took bout 20 minutes finally just asked 4 refund never going back the owner needs to do a better job training the help

2020-12-20I’ve eaten here twice. Food is prepared fresh and tastes good. Smoothies are excellent. Shop is clean and it’s one of few local places where you can sit and eat versus compulsory take out. Staff is pleasant. My kids like it and they’re picky! For ‘fast food’ it is very good and reasonably priced.Edit Dec 2020 Not exactly a high reliability shop in terms of making what you ordered. In recent months about 50% of take out orders have defects. For example, order chicken quesadilla and it doesn’t have the chicken. Specify ‘no sauce’ and the sauce is there anyway. Order chips and get a candy bar instead. I don’t think the people making the sandwiches actually read the entire order. It’s not like I’m going to stand there and pull apart and inspect each sandwich on a take out order!

2021-06-25Very fresh, healthy and tasty juices. The staff is attentive and friendly. I happen to be at the hair Salon nearby and Tropical staff delivered the juice in the hair salon, avoiding making walk with lots of foil on my head. Lol

2020-08-25This is the best place I’ve ever been to. When you go inside, the vibe is chill and peaceful. My favorite thing to order there is the Hummus Wrap, they never ever messed up my order. They have a lot of specialties there, let me name a few. They have wraps, SMOOTHIES, etc.. Overall, a great place.Also subscribe to my YT Channel! Thank you!

2020-06-12This place used to be good. But about a year or so ago they fired everyone and hired new people. Now it seems like every time I walk in they make a conscious effort to ignore me. Like I’m the only one in the store and no one will even address me to see what I want. I just go to the taco store next door for lunch now. Today was the last straw.

2020-08-20It was busy so my complaint is reasonable for the timeWaited on the side for an online order but no one greeted or asked what i was waiting forOnly untill i waited online to place an order was i addressed and asked for my pick up that was sitting on the table the whole time i was in the buildingEdit: after arriving back home with my order, 2 of the 3 food orders were wrong/messed up. A requested item to be removed wasnt removed, and there was no chicken in one of the quesadillas.I believe the manager and or owner was there, so im unsure why this would happen.Started at a 4 star just for the wait, down to 1 with messing up the order on top of it.

2019-02-24Worst...service...ever. I am writing this review for management to know if their staff working on Saturday February 23rd at approximately 7:35 pm. I asked to have a specific shake made with ingredients I chose. I asked for a large. No problem right? As the young lady proceeded to make the smoothie I asked for almond milk. She was quite annoyed and was speaking to her co-worker in Spanish but her body language and facial expressions showed she was clearly annoyed. They told me they usually use water. I told them I would pay extra if necessary. The young lady put VERY LITTLE almond milk in the smoothie and put ice in it as well. When I received the cup it was so heavy. As I walked out of the store the smoothie fell all over the ground. Thankfully another customer was there with me when it happen d and she let them know that it looked like thick goop instead of a shake and that it was all over the sidewalk. They tried to tell me that they could not make me another one but the customer who saw everything told them once again that the lid was not on tightly which must have caused the problem. My new shake was made with such an attitude that I almost walked out, but since I just paid $8.65 for my shake I was going to wait. I ask d them for no ice. They were annoyed and told me it would be thin. I told them no problem. At this point I was embarrassed an just wanted to leave. They made the other shake and I STILL thanked them upon leaving with them giving no response. I have lived in Port all my life and this was my first time ever going there. It will also be my last. The individuals working in this establishment should appreciate its customers and not make customers feel like it is the customer’s fault when something goes wrong in the establishment. Very rude and clueless service. Oh yeah, I also purchased a water that I never got.

2019-04-16The food is good but the service is horrible. The workers are so rude. I came in to get a smoothie with a friend at 7:00 pm and they claim that they’re closed but decide to take my friends order but not mine. When I tried ordering they came at me with “we’re closed” with a nasty attitude and we got into an argument. They ended up making an excuse up saying that they only take smoothies after 7:00 pm but the last time I checked they said they were “closed”. I took the smoothie but the person who argued me started bad mouthing me behind my back to the other worker and then said in my face and to her that she doesn’t wanna take my order so left it to her friend to take it. Right after she kept bad mouthing me and my friend
