My first day here and it has been horrible. Arrived here and left in the middle of the room with no direction on what to do or expect. Some of the things I need they dont have. Not able to use the bathroom. I have needs and no idea who to get assistance from. Everybodys line is hold on Ill be right back but they never came back. This place is the worst and I havent even gotten to the PT yet.
My mom was in here a short time due to I wanted her pulled out. Wasnt getting her medicine and so many other things. The place looks no where what these pictures show. Disgusting place.
Everybody treated me well. Everyone is top notch. The nurses and cnas work hard and friendly..

Take the negative reviews seriously. My mother had a horrible experience here. I commiserated with another family while I was visiting with my mom that they were experiencing very similar things. My mom’s experience was not isolated. I would call and call and call the office and nobody would answer. If and when someone did answer, nobody had any answers. Collecting my mother’s belongings on her behalf after she was discharged was also a nightmare. I was told that they were given to someone else and was promptly hung up on when I told her that was unacceptable. My mother’s belongings were finally given back to me after I made a complaint with corporate and was promptly called back by the director of nursing. All in all, it’s a mess over there and if the quality of care aligns with the way they treat residents’ family members, I recommend staying away. I truly regret placing my mother here.

When Samaritan hospital told me this is where my mom would be going I had never heard of the place, so I looked at google reviews. Didn’t see a bad comment until they started getting older. Thought maybe they had changed the place around for the better. This place is a nightmare. Don’t believe anything anyone says to you that works there. I could not get my mom out fast enough. 5 stars so hopefully this won’t get filtered out :)
If I could give this place a 0/5, I would. You cant get ahold of anyone in any department when you call. My father was in here for only a few days thankfully because when they brought him his food they set it on the tray and left without pushing it over to him. He waited 30 minutes for them to come back in and then finally was able to eat cold food. They would just leave him in his bed all day long instead of getting him into his wheelchair, so he got some sores. It took over 12 hours for them to change his soiled outfit, and us calling the 1 800 number for patient enrollment to get them to get a message to the center to get a call back. Do not ever think of using this place if you actually love your loved ones.
The facility overall experience I had with them were very nice and helpful for my mothers stay when she was recovering from her accident. Thank god she was looked after and she got better. I owe my thanks to this facility.
Arrived here for Rehab. Was brought to my assigned room and dumped. No intake done. Was told they were taking inventory of my box and have yet to see it. This stuff is my life. The other resident in the room is hard of hearing and TV is very loud. The room smells like urine. Also very hot. Apparently this is where people come to give up. Not a very good welcome5 days now OoT and PT are great. Time supervisor nurse is great. Meals leave lots to be desired. Cook thinks scrambled 3 are quiche. Pretty sad. Have pictures. Meals are also late. Received dinner at 7:30pm last night. Very poor care.
Clean, organized and feel comfortable when visiting the patient.
My mother has been her for 4 months and she’s so happy. This place is incredible and the staff is so kind. Highly recommend!!
This place should be closed down. They tell their patients to stop ringing their bells or they wont go in their rooms anymore, make them keep multiple containers of urine by their beds so they dont have to empty them, dont feed patients because they are short staffed and oxygen isnt a priority on a patient with a half of lung missing who is there for rehab because his oxygen dropped so low he was hospitalized.
I came with my friend to visit her grandmother and I was very impressed with the management and care the staff had for my friends grandmother. The facility is also beautiful.
My grandmother is finally happy at a home. She used to always find something negative about each of the homes she stayed but at this center she only had good things to say.
This place should never be recommended to anyone. Staff are unprofessional. My Father is a diabetic & suffers from other health issues and he was sent by St. Peters Hospital to this facility knowing his conditions at hand. This place has COVID-19 cases were patients died. So, why would he be sent to a place like this in a first place. I am so livid and extremely disappointed.
Facility has a great and outgoing admission department. My therapist was very helpful in my recovery and I owe the faculty everything.

The higher ups in this place are rude and very disrespectful and the pay in this place is awful apparently they’re on a “budget” to pay you the employee for working. Don’t advise anyone to work here

If you had a terrible childhood and want to get even with your parents, this is the place to leave them. That wasnt the case with my Grandma, though, and it saddens my family every day to recall the treatment she received at the hands of an uncaring staff who work with a corporate mindset that clearly places profits over patients. Dont believe the assurances they make at the time of intake -- they cant provide the level of care they promise. I feel sorry for the staff members that actually care about those in their charge, because they are severely outnumbered by those who dont and are fighting a losing battle.
So thankful for the care and patience that the people here showed to my uncle. Great place and would recommend!
My mom was here for rehab after a partial hip replacement. Food was somewhat edible. My mom would constantly complain that you could not eat the food as it was extremely Bland. We used to have to bring in food to her daily as she could not eat it. Rehab wise the place was stellar. Nursing staff was excellent. Watch your clothing has my mom lost a pair of custom-made Orthotics and a winter hat and an outfit. I will be speaking to them about getting reimbursed for her shoes as they are expensive. Without any sort of notification they threw them out without even asking.
Take the poor reviews of this place very seriously. Having learned from first-hand, reliable accounts of the horrific treatment and services provided to patients and their loved ones, please avoid placing anyone there. Hoping the county/state does an unannounced site-visit, or conduct an undercover investigation to reveal how awful it is. Corrective actions are needed to turn this place around, especially for people who have no other place to go.
The New Nurse Heaven Carlise Is Absolutely Amazing. Shes is very kind and sweet and extremely outgoing, she really cares about the patients and goes the extra mile, shes a great fit for health care services, by far the best Ive come across hands down.

Do not ever, ever allow a loved one, a friend, etc., into the Troy Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing (formerly known as The Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre), youll be reaching up to touch awful. Horrible place. Less than one star.
The energy is slightly overwhelming. Infinite Waters. The staff members that I spoke with were professional and very nice. I enjoyed my visit.

2022-08-10This place is absolutely terrifying. I cant believe the state has not shut this place down. It looks like what a nursing home would look like in a horror movie. I had to call 911 within 24 hours of my mother being there. They didnt have air conditioning in her room and told her to bring a fan. It was over 90 degrees in my moms room and she has lung cancer. They didnt give her, her medications for the 24 hours she was there. When I called 911 and told the nurse she didnt bother coming to her room to check on her. She was delirious when I called 911. She was there for rehab, but 24 hours there sent her to the hospital for another five weeks.Please do anything to stop a family member from coming here. I wouldnt send my worst enemy to Troy Center for Rehab and Nursing and I still have nightmares about what I saw.

2022-07-07My mother has been in this place for a month. Its a dump! My mother has cancer and shes being made to wait for her pain meds an hour or so after the time shes supposed to get them. The facility is not sanitary and the staff act like your really bothering them when you ask for assistance. If anyone has someone here that they care about make sure you check on them very often! Let me not talk about the weekends!

2022-05-01Ive personally witnessed the facilitys transition; they now have wonderful kind, courteous, and competent personnel in every area that offer outstanding care to the patients. This is the nursing home/rehab facility that I would recommend to any member of my family, including myself.
