My son started taking karate True Championz.He has been attending for about 8 months. I love Sensei Vladimir. He is a great instructor. He conducts a well run class. He always returns calls and is there to answer questions. The children love him. He is firm and fun at the same time. I am very glad my son is taking classes with him.

This place is absolutely amazing. I have been bringing kids here for three years now. Beside learning karate, kids also learn the discipline, respect and hard work. Sensei Vladimir is a very professional in what he does and also very good with kids. They offer classes for both, kids and adults. I would recommend this place to anyone who would like to learn Martial Arts or just get in the better shape.

We have been part of the True ChampoinZ family since our son was 3 years old. He is now 7. We started with Karate and now have our son in the Krav Maga classes. I have to say, I am a parent that does a lot of research on the activities we choose to put our children in and feel we truly have found a place that truly cares for the children they are teaching. Sensei Vladimir is fantastic with kids - he teaches them to be resilient, strong, independent and shows them how to have fun as well. My son is equipped with life long lessons every day as well as tangible skills he can use when needed. This past summer while my son was in summer camp, he was able to use his krav maga skills to protect himself. There was another child that was bothering him and then began to kick him. My son instantly used the skills he was taught by Sensei Vladimir and pinned the boy down to the ground until an adult camp counselor came to the rescue. Considering the world we currently live in, we believe its really important to equip our kids with the necessary skills and tools to protect themselves in any given situation when we are not around. We come all the way from Dobbs Ferry to New Rochelle, so that should already tell you a lot! Thank you Sensei Vladimir for how hard you work with our kids!

I have trained Martial Arts for over 30 years and I have known and trained alongside Sensei Vlad for 13 years. I have met many great Martial Artists, and many great teachers of Martial Arts. Sensei Vlad is the rare breed of being both. Many instructors will just gladly take your money and simply give you belts, which amount to nothing more than participation trophies, without you actually learning much. Sensei Vlad works hard in teaching traditional Karate and ensuring that all his students receive the proper instruction so they can walk away knowing they EARNED those belts. Sensei Vlad is also great with kids, perfectly blending the balance of fun and serious learning; and targeting and working with each kids individual abilities.

My son has been learning since he was 5.Sensei Vladimir has the right dose of discipline that is essential for learning.My son enjoys being in Senseis class and learning new skills that is necessary for self defense.

My 9 year old has been attending this dojo since he was 4. He is doing both karate and Krav Maga and if I could rate this a 10 I would. Sensei Vladimir and his wife are both amazing people who have an incredible community spirit.Sensei V is great with all ages of kids and adults. His dojo is clean and inviting. He had gone above and beyond for his students. I would highly recommend this studio for anyone. There are many choices in classes too. My son was a shy, rather introverted kid. He is now confident, outgoing and disciplined. I give credit to his training!

My 4 year old son has been attending True Championz for 6 months now and I cannot say enough AMAZING things about this place. Sensei Vlad is wonderful with children! He has so much patience and truly cares about them. He is engaging, a bit tough but fun...always cracks some jokes to lighten the mood. He always does something new with the kids in each class to make learning karate exciting. They especially love the reaction games in which they are learning skills but dont even know it since they are having so much fun playing the game. Joining True Championz was like joining a community. Sensei Vlad and his wife Rachel get to know the kids and parents so well. They host great Halloween and holiday parties too! I am so happy that my son loves attending and is happy to go twice a week. Im sure we will be there for many more years!

Sensei Vladimir is a great instructor and inspires kids to try harder and focus on being the best they can be. This is a no nonsense class, but Sensei has found a great balance between learning and fun and my son, who is almost 8 now, loves it after almost 4 years in the program.

True ChampionZ has a 5 star rating only because there is no option for a 6 star rating. Sensei Vladimir is as talented a teacher as he is a disciplined world class competitor He has the perfect balance of demanding educator as he does supportive observer. My kids are naturally opposed to discipline, but he brings out the drive and desire to achieve, every class. We are lucky to have him, and in such an accessible spot!

LOVE TRAINING HERE! I can say with confidence that Westchester Krav Maga is the real deal! Sensei Vlad is an amazing martial artist who gives his all in every class. Hes been a great help in not only my training, but every students. He caters classes to the needs of the students, and makes sure to emphasize on the importance of real life situations. if youre looking for a new place to train- this is it! I cant get enough! And to top it all off, he has great rates!
