A friend and I ate here when the restaurant was in Sag Harbor right off the water, it was such a beautiful location. Sad to see it no longer there (you can’t beat a waterfront view) but I’m sure the new local is beautiful. The food was delicious and the service attentive.
Tiniest portions ever. Seven of us had overpriced food that was less than just ok. Staff not friendly at all. Intimate lights are great but not when you have to use your phone light to see a menu. Need a drink menu that is appealing. Not everyone drinks wine. Not much positive at all.
We ate here 2x in one week. Small, tasty menu. Friends were there two weeks before and were raving about a beet salad, but it wasnt available- Now I have to go back for it! Shishito Peppers, Burrata, whole fish, and ravioli were the stand - outs for our group! The second time we ordered, we got it to go- Again, delicious- There was a shrimp dish but the Pasta was veggies-- By far MY FAVORITE of the week along with all the bread we could think to eat!
Ive been coming to the Hamptons since I was a baby and this is the first time my husband and I tried this restaurant..Definitely wont be our last! The restaurant is modern and beautiful both inside and out. We dined outdoors. For appetizers, we shared the burrata with cherry tomatoes(SO FRESH), and the stuffed artichoke. Both delicious!! We wanted to try a few different pasta entrées, so the waiter suggested we do 1/2 portions so that we were able to try a few different pasta dishes. All were excellent! But my favorite was the spaghetti..followed by the rigatoni. Staff very nice too :) cant wait to return!
Our experience was not acceptable!!We May be not regulars at your restaurant , but we do have an extensive restaurant experiences especially in the Hampton’s!!We were 2 couples , ordered 2 bottles of wine 4 cocktails and our appetizers and meals. Not once we had our wine glasses filled by our waiter nor the Restaurant manager… who was on his phone throughout the night not lifting his head to show concern about some of his guests.Having to fill our wine glasses by ourselves continuously and not having anyone coming over to show their hospitality was totally a poor management. Our appetizer( Calamari) was terrible! We are not the kind to complain or send our food back… but…POOR SERVICE is never tolerated!!!
Exceptional wine list, excellent service - but mediocre food. The spaghetti, risotto, and polpette were surprisingly bland. The Sardinian flatbread wasnt a flatbread - it was a paper-thin cracker. The heirloom tomatoes were fresh, quite delicious. The rigatoni was seasoned perfectly, would highly recommend. Overall a fair experience - not especially impressive.
Dining at the Southampton Tutto Il Giorno South was a wonderful experience.Great food and great service.Special surprise was new GM Andrew Tobin who made our dining experience even better.Under his tutelage, the service has reached new heights.👨🍳🍾🥂This review is coming from myself and my 50 year restaurant experienced husband Louis Matsikas.
This place was absolutely horrible. Your treated with the color that your skin is. The service was absolutely terrible. Would not recommend this restaurant.1. The front receptionist tried to charge me $15 for a mask.2. Server was absolutely rude.3. My menu was snatched out of my hand.4. Was rushed for putting appetizers and entree when we came at 9pm. (Closes at 10:30)5. Told our manager and nothing was done to take care of the matter.
Nick the manager and all the staff are outstanding !!!The food of course is wonderful but it is truly a magical place and a magical experience - I am always so thrilled that I’ve chosen them each time - I also shop at urban zen when I’m there - I rate them a glorious 100!!❤️
Ugh. My family of 6 went for dinner for pre-birthday celebrations. The place is undoubtedly beautiful, however it severely lacks in food. Out of 6 people, 3 people hated their dishes (the other 3 ordered the exact same dish-the rigatoni, so if you’re subjected to dine here this dish is your safest bet). The chicken under a brick was over cooked and was sent back to the kitchen and an equally poor rendition of a rib eye steak left us disappointed. The biggest upset aside from the food was that we found a cockroach in one of our drinks. This was brought to the attention of someone on the waitstaff and then to the general manager who handled the situation so poorly. Not only could he have cared less but he treated this as if it was a restaurant norm and that cockroaches are common place in drinking glasses but to please be sure to keep it hush hush to that the rest of the diners not be privy to this. This is an upscale, expensive establishment, it’s not acceptable for this to happen. Just skip this place all together.
Very disappointed in this dining experience. I believe that the hostess staff of this restaurant are truly RACIST. We felt completely ignored and disrespected the entire time we were dining at this establishment. It was very clear that they played favorites to others over my party who waited patiently to be seated. I would warn any people of color from dining there. When we did finally get seated the waitstaff was rude and inattentive. My steak was over cooked and drench in too much jus. I was completely underwhelmed with the food as was the rest of my party. This place is too expensive to have mediocre food and service. I would never return after being treated like an outsider. This restaurant needs some racial sensitivity training asap. Please do better at treating people of color like you do the rest of your customers. Highly disappointed!*to clarify from Davids response. It wasn’t the wait that was the issue. We knew we would be waiting for our table we didn’t have reservations totally understood that. It was the treatment of your staff not the wait. Your staff needs to be kinder to people of color. Period end of story. There was a clear difference in service and treatment between my party and the rest of your customers. If you are not white I would not recommend dining at this establishment.
Serious quality!!! Every detail from beginning to end. These guys sit you down and feed you every Italian delight. From the warm bread balls and olive oil to the tricolore salad, eggplant parmigiana, sides of sautéed spinach and Brussel sprouts, through to the tiramisu, decaf espresso and sambuca...I can’t imagine going anywhere else!!
Nice looking restaurant, great ambience. The food was good, but the service was pretty lousy. Lots of waiters catering to one table, not paying attention to any other guests. The waiter Tomek, assigned to our table was missing in action the entire time. It was even harder to get a hold of him when he had to bring us back the change and the receipt. We expected a lot more from this place.
We had a very good dinner for our last night in the hamptons here! The service was perfect and the food was great. The ambiance was lovely and they sat our large group of girls at a beautiful table in the back. It was worth the money we spent. Probably the friendliest staff we encountered in the area. Thank you for accommodating our large group and making my sisters bachelorette event so memorable! 5 stars for the experience overall! I would recommend to anyone travelling in the area.
A beautiful restaurant with a good chance for a celeb sighting 🌟and delicious Italian food🍝! The menu is a bit predictable but you can’t go wrong with burrata, tuna tartare🐟 with avocado 🥑and a good linguine with clam sauce. The staff is kind and attentive and it’s surprisingly kid-friendly at lunch while also maintaining an upscale ambience. It’s a great spot for an afternoon glass of rose🍷with friends and family!
Gum on the seat. Messed up the entire back of my pants. Also with covid going on I witness them not cleaning the chairs between customers. But instead they just change the cloth on table. They DONT WIPE DOWN THE TABLES OR CHAIRS. Ordered a steak, it came burnt amd over cooked. Would not go back.
Nice atmosphere...pleasant evening outside.Good wait staff service.....Food overpriced for quality and wierd pairings of food. Lamb chops were not baby chops on bone....but Loin chops on top of a vegetable tomato medley....with potato pancakes ???I believe the Restaurant is one of few in Town and manages to get the crowds no matter....A bit assembly line food....
Very relaxing interior decor, a great Monday night pasta deal, and really good appetizers. The olive bread they serve is nice. I had the calamari to start and my sister had an eggplant with cheese appetizer, both were delicious. My calamari were crispy and the basil sauce accompanying them was delightful. I felt my entree of linguini with baby clams was underseasoned. It had about 3 tomatoes in it. They offered us cheese but not red pepper, which I think would have perked it up. Otherwise a nice evening out and nothing some salt didnt fix.
Sadly disappointed with my dinner.Appetizer average tasting. Bread less than noteworthy doughy and tasteless.Worst part was my Veal Chop Mileanse. It was tough, unflavorful and the breading was separated and falling off. Maybe reheated or whatever.Surely my last visit there. Period
To preface this post, most of the restaurants in the Hamptons are more about the scene then the food. While this place certainly has a scene it also has pretty good food. The octopus and ribeye are excellent, and the tuna tartare is one of the best Ive ever had. Its not cheap, but nothing is out here. Still it is worth the price because the food is quality.
Not a great dining experience. I was hosting clients and our table was under a ceiling vent that was dripping on the linen outfit of one of my guest. It took 15 minutes for the manager to send someone over and the busboy merely took a mop and tried to wipe it dry. When I asked if this happens often. He said yes!. No apology, no offer of anything. Horrible customer service. I like the food but will frequent Sag Harbor location instead.
Great choice for those going to Southampton! We know this place by the indication of a resident who owns a winery on the main street, which is also incredible.Phenomenal dinner, everything neat, cozy and food of excellent quality. My wife and I shared the fresh-leafed salad with reggiano parmesan slice, the dough with beef ragu and grated parmesan cheese and an incredible tiramissu with strawberry and blueberry! We ordered an Aperol Spritz and an Italian beer.Personalized and kind service. However we were informed that from the second week of May to September the city boils to the point of not being able to walk in restaurants and also park. In April I recommend a lot for those who want tranquility and enjoy the city in peace. Well worth it !!
19-08 The best of all is the staff of the premises, very aware of everything, but without harassing. The decoration is very successful, a roll much more modern than usual in the area. The menu is basically Italian but with different and generally successful touches. Nothing will surprise you for bad or good, but everything is rich and well resolved, although some presentations detract from the taste and quality of the dish. What really floats is the wine list ... for the level that this restaurant is supposed to have. Prices in the tonic of the Hamptons but not at all prohibitive.

2022-02-06What an amazing little place. Delicious Italian food with a great staff. Owner/manager is involved and around. The food is gourmet and incredible. The drinks were fresh. It is a gem of a place in Southampton. I highly recommend it. Have the pasta! And end the night with a cappuccino and a tiramisu.

2022-04-292nd time dining here and we are 2 for 2. As they say in baseball… we’re batting a thousand. Started off with an espresso martini (delicious) and then the Arancini and Burrata to start. Holy smokes the Arancini was good. Burrata was great as well but took 2nd place here. For the mains, we tried the Rigatoni, the Risotto, and the Paccheri. All three were phenomenal. The Risotto changes daily and we lucked out with a truffle Parmesan. I foresee a 3rd visit in the future. Oh and I almost forgot the outdoor space. It was a little chilly in April but this would be perfect during peak season.

2022-05-04The service was excellent. The food was just good - not amazing. The prices are totally outrageous. The best thing from my photos were the mushrooms that came alongside the risotto balls

2022-06-29Food was excellent. Server was very unfriendly. Runner was such a delight smiling, professional and friendly. The server (tall young man)ruined the night. It was very uncomfortable and we were celebrating a very special birthday. Very disappointed. But again food was amazing!

2022-07-10To start off the waiter was extremely rude and arrogant, did not like how he spoke to us. The waiter was as explaining the specials to us and my fiancé decided to order one of them and we got it and it was not what we expected nor what we liked, and the waiter has a very condescending tone and got annoyed that we didn’t like the food. We are ones to never complain about food but this was gross. The food is not worth the money they charge. My fiancé got raviolis and they have the audacity to charge $35 for 6 bite size ravioli that look like they came out of a chef boyorde can. If the food is good I don’t care about the money but when you charge a ridiculous amount of money for food you would feed to an infant and not a grown man, it’s just totally not worth it. Then the waiter thought he was slick for charging us for the food we sent back, try again buddy! Moral of the story there are places that are 100x better then this place, do not recommend what so ever!!

2022-03-18Tasteful interior design, but food was only no more than 4/5. Onion soup, ribeye steak and fries were all a little bland. Would expect more at this price point

2019-08-18Dining here is always a pleasant experience. Tonight we enjoyed a crisp Tricolore Salad with lots of freshly shaved parmesan cheese and the creamy Burrata as our starters. Next up was a superb and flavorful Cartoccio, Fluke wrapped in parchment paper with capers, grape tomatoes and black olives, a whole fire-roasted Branzino fish seasoned perfectly with herb salad, seasonal vegetables, and juicy, tender Grilled Lamb chops with Potato Roti and Caponata. We were delighted to sit outside in the intimate courtyard. The tables had beautiful white floral arrangements, hurricane type glass vases filled with black stones and votive candles. Truly a night in Tuscany but right in our Southampton backyard. Tutto il Giorno, bringing good food, friends, and family together for a meal, indeed an Italian tradition not to be missed but savored over a few glasses of their fine wine!

2022-06-27Would give it a zero if I could. Bartender was rude and ignorant. The food is flat and just not good and to make it even worse it is not even close to authentic. You should not call yourself an Italian restaurant.Go ANYWHERE else.
