Awesome location, the staff is very nice and the shop is very clean. Have been here multiple times this week and although it was busy they moved very quickly to get everything ready for us. Highly recommend this u-haul over others in the area, worth the drive. Thanks again guys!
Calling them is terrible, no matter what you get a national call center not the store near you. I had scheduled a hitch install and they called me less than a day before the appointment to say they didn’t have the parts to do it and then it took about 6 weeks for them to get the part in. Now I gotta spend forever on the phone to actually book the appointment to finally do the job. I still gave 2 stars because my local store isn’t bad if you just physically go there but as a company they are not good.
I rented a truck for a full 24 hour period almost 2 weeks in advance. The day of the truck rental, I had to pick it up later than expected due to unforeseen circumstances. before leaving to go pick it up I went online to check on my reservation and it was completely gone. it was as if I had never made it in the first place. I tried to call them and had to spend more than an hour on the phone trying to talk to a real person there. never again.
Highly incompetent staff. I scheduled my appt properly with my proof of what was needed to be done. 3.5-4hrs laters no phone call that they hooked up wrongly and I had to call them and still no mention that they incorrectly hooked up wrong wiring. Then I got attitude from the staff bc they screwed up.
Yesterday I went into this location to get a tv box that are located in a semi separate room from the registers the guy pointed to where the huge boxes were he watched me drag the box up to the register ...cashed me out.... Between the two guys nobody offered to assist me with the box to my car I struggled for a good 15 minutes or so to get it in my car...I kid you not literally a second after I closed the truck the two guys came out to smoke a cigarette...this is beyond bad customer service and I will never patronize this location again Ive been to plenty other locations and they have helped or offer this accured 2/28/20
Saved me tons of money by not having to get movers. Very easy to place your truck reservation online. Just show up early and pick up your truck. Only issue I had once was getting the 10 truck and thinking it had the loading ramp. but I was using trucks for a few days so I just got the 15 trucks the next times. very hassle free, in and out quickly.
The service here is amazing! I recently started going through a not so pleasant separation and the experience and service I received here was just what I needed. They were prompt, pleasant, understanding and compassionate. They did not over charge me, where I felt I needed a bigger truck. I was able to get everything done with the truck Junior recommended . They were upfront about the charges and fees that I might accrue so there was no surprises. If I ever need to move again, itll definitely be with Junior and crew at this amazing uhaul. Thx!
I walked in to pre pay for my Uhaul the clerk at the store told me I couldn’t. I was informed about possibility I would have to go to the next nearest one to pick it up on the day I pick it up which makes no sense because I made the reservation at this location. Also didn’t help that the clerk smelt like he did not bath in a few days making me almost having to get Vick’s under my nose to talk to him. Would not recommend this location
We made a appointment to have a hitch put on our car. When we arrived the manager told us they dont do hitches on Saturday only Monday to Thursday. We showed him the online reservation and the 43.00. So he then said you have a 2008 that car is to old We dont want to do it at all. He did refund the 43 bucks however what a total waste of our time.
Couldnt get any sort of loading truck at the local hardware store, so I figured these guys seemed like a best next option. Waited in line for 30 minutes just to be told, in a very rude and condescending tone, that they had no trucks because I didnt make a reservation. Walked outside, made a reservation on my phone and was able to pick any truck in the lot. When I went back in with my reservation, the employee hid from my questions and essentially ignored me. Why wasnt he able to help me set up a reservation? Luckily the next guy didnt have the personality of the bottom of my boot and was able to get me a van for the hour I needed it.
Major systemic issues with setting up appointments. Trailer hitch was installed wrong and a man who identified himself as the manager (Jeff B) tried charging us to fix his mistake. Later learned through coorporate that he is not the manager. VERY disorganized and poor customer service. Highly recommend going else where!!!!
We just moved a few weeks ago, and had scheduled a truck for the day we were moving. We were suppose to have it from 10 am until 4 pm. However, when we got there, the woman informed us that someone double booked our truck, and we needed to have it back by 2 pm. That was extremely discouraging. We somehow managed to get everything moved in the timeframe, and had it back on time for the next person, but it was definitely not easy. The woman discounted our gas mileage for the inconvenience, which made up for it a bit, and saved us a couple bucks.
We made an appointment to get a hitch installed. Dropped our vehicle off at opening, were told it would be ready around 430, but they will call us. Time came and we hadnt been called, tried to call the location but there is no direct number, we spoke to someone at a remote call center. We drove to pick jeep up as it had been 9 hours. When we got there no work has been done on our vehicle. The person working didnt know why it hasnt been done and their one and only hitch mechanic had left hours ago. So no one called us all day to notify us that they were unable to complete the work. Waste of a day, waste of our timeDespicable communication skills. We wont be back for any future towing or moving needs .
Im a big fan of the Niagara Falls Blvd Uhaul. Outstanding service. Large inventory of all sizes of vehicles. Great quality vehicles. Big selection of packaging supplies and moving equipment. Reasonably priced. Clean facility. Centrally located on the boulevard near Sheridan Drive.
November 15th i called to make a appointment for a hitch. I was told by the manager Angel i would get a call back before monday 18th. on sunday 17th i had no phone call back, so i called again and was told they would get a hold of me by 8am the next morning. Monday 18th at 8am no call. Monday afternoon at 4pm i called again and was able to make an appointment for 27th at 2pm. i explained to the hitch guy who i made appointment with that i will have to move my schedule around and work 16 hours on 26th to make my 2 oclock appointment on 27th. Which i did. on the 26th at 4:38 i had a voicemail from the hitch guy stating the hitch was on back order my appointment was being canceled. Little did they no i then called to see if the hitch was available and it was. it was not on back order they just never went to pick it up. i then called the office and spoke to JR. he had no idea why my appointment was canceled and said he would find out and call me back. No call back. on the 27th i called the call center to speak with them. the woman i talked to told me yes in fact the hitch was available and she did not no why my appointment was canceled. she sent Angel the manager a email which he responded to in 3 minutes. He told her he would call me back in a few minutes. Still no call back it is now the 1st of December. Today i called corporate where i filled a complaint. Not only did i lose money, work a 16 hr day but i also was not able to pick up my aunt from PA for thanksgiving (needing the hitch to transport her motor scooter). All because some one did not do there job and pick up my hitch.
The guy charged me for Gas no reason. Gave me a printed page showing how much need to be. There was a different guy there when I went to return the truck and he charged me 11.50 for no reason as the gas was more than what it suppose to be. Asked for gas receipt, and I did not have it with me. Another kid at the same place was really rude. I will never go or ask anyone to go there ever....
My experience was better than fine but when I checked why the total charges were a little higher than I expected, I noticed an extra charge for a utility dolly that I never requested. Upon inquiry, I was told that the seal is broken so theres nothing I can do. In my opinion, putting a dolly in the van and not letting you know youll be charged for using it is a less than honest business practice. The experience was extra sour due to the fact that I only moved the dolly in the first place to make more room for loading.

2022-07-05I went to this location because the one near my house ruined my wiring on my third brake light and told me it was my problem. I was told this location was tip top with service and installation. I needed a wiring harness put on my Honda Pilot. I was told that they would order the part from another location and it would be there in 2 days. We booked a time for 4 days so that there was plenty of time to get the part. On the morning of the installation I drove 30 minutes to the location. When I got there the same guy that set my appointment told me there was no record of an appointment for me. Then I reminded him that he was the one who set it up. He then called the location that was supposed to send him the part. They had no reason for not shipping it other than we did not ship it. He started to mumble about getting a new one shipped and a new appointment set up. I told him I was going to find somebody competent to install it and he said next to the guy behind me. This is a third strike for Uhaul. Im totally done with them altogether. They didnt even give me a courtesy call to let me know the parts were not shipped.I guess they are too big to care.

2022-08-03Booked in advance 15ft truck, utility dolly, and dozen pads. Received the truck no pads or dolly had to go back and ask for them. Told the dolly’s were all booked. Plus, the one woman working is rude as hell. 2022-07-14Rented on the 2nd of July. Was charged that I drove almoat 70 miles when I only drove 30 miles. So make sure you take pictures of the dashboard so they cant scam you out of your money. I will NEVER use U-Haul again. Renter beware. Was way over charged!

2022-01-23Young fellows working were pleasant. 1 person was ahead of me. No trucks were left, only 9 vans. They prepared the van and drove it up fairly quickly. I inspected it to be sure there were no dings or dents. The windows were not clean. The van ran quietly and was surprisingly easy to handle on the road. It cost me an extra trip due to a truck not having been available, and the fact 1 part of the piece of furniture wouldnt fit in with the rest. Upon my returning the van, there were 2 young ladies ahead of me returning a truck. They said they were satisfied, but the truck was very loud and difficult for them to handle on the road. This convinced me the van had been better for my circumstances. I noticed the mileage couldnt have been right. I pointed it out and the young man said the paperwork I had was for a different van. He pleasantly back-tracked in the computer and straightened it out and gave me the correct paperwork. I was pleased. I dont know how, as a customer, I could have avoided this mix-up in the beginning, except by verifying mileage. They did a good job in the end.

2022-08-04I had a guaranteed reservation for renting a 15 Truck, when I went there, they just canceled my order without telling me and deny my order. Awful staff and awful service. It is really disappointing.

2021-12-24Opened twenty minutes late, putting a strain on my very tight moving schedule. The 24hr service connected me to the regional office, and they never picked up the whole twenty minutes I waited. Once the employee did arrive, service was quick and painless.

2021-11-27Very accommodating for everything, had some difficulty with the battery put the move back 2hrs.had to keep the truck the extra day because all the help had to leave for work the 1st day mind you Im disabled so it was a learning experience since I am middle aged.

2021-07-15Slow and disorganized . i shoulda walked out when i got there. Mix up with van numbers . when realized it my van was already being driving around by another peraon. .they correct everything but i was there almost 45 mins for a 5 mins sign and go.
