Had a wide range of moving supplies.Many trucks of different sizes were available.I saw a number of people sitting there asking if they need manual help in moving. Which is great. If I had no help from friends, I would have loved to pay them to help.The staff was very helpful and friendly.I would recommend this location.
Wish I could give this location 0 stars. Customer service is horrible and the sliding door constantly doesnt work leaving disabled customer no other option than to go All the way around the entire store and walk through the drug addicts and pot heads that they allow hang around the front entry!!! The owners of ubaul really need to manage this location better!!
The only place where the attendant is on a private phone conversation while you sign a contract smh. I didnt know if she was talking to me or the other person on the phone. The place is very accessible and the guy outside is awesome but the lady at the counter is the worst.
It was my first time using their service and it was reliable but the experience could have been better. I rented the smallest van to suit my needs and although they had the newer models, they tried to give me an older one. The newer ones have more space and they are more fuel efficient so when I stated that I wanted the newer one, the associate got an attitude and said I had to make the arrangements inside.So I go and take care of it and get the newer model which had a few dents and scratches around it. I just took a video to show what was there so they wouldnt charge me a fee. I also rented a hand-truck/dolly and they gave me an old one and said it was the only ones they had... I didnt make a fuss out of it though. Also there are usually men sitting in the front looking for work, either to assist with moving or construction but dont let them bother you if you dont require their services.
Great place to go nice atmosphere. Fast and quick service the ladies in the front were professionals and friendly. Really great for people that never went to uhall and dont understand how to deal with renting trucks... get insurance for everything cheap..... the staff in the back were pros and great at what they do... I will have no problem doing business with this uhall. Great experience.. follow the rules and you will be ok.
The company in general is a horrible experience the story is too long to put here youll be so bored to keep it to a point no trucks available by 15 ft the company keeps rescheduling you for other dates make you go to different locations and not compensate you for your time I live in the Bronx New York they were even willing to tell me to pick up the truck somewhere in New Jersey do I have to pay tolls gas and my time I went as far as getting a smaller truck is it would not give me the mileage I need to compensate youre better off finding business elsewhere
My husband & his brother came here to pick up the truck, he made the reservation on line, requested what he needed for moving, when he arrived, everything was available that was ordered, no sweat, no drama, return was simple, the return employee checked the truck, after my husband went inside to finish up the paper work, that employee immediately started cleaning the truck, looks like they have a good routine; the only drawback was the 4 young men hanging out, one came up to me while I was waiting for my husband & gave me his business card, asked if we needed any help, just call him, at first I thought he was an employee, I told him I was with my husband, my brother-in-law came over to make sure everything was fine, the young man appologized, I know people need jobs, maybe Uhaul could pay these young men some type of wage to have them be helpers for moving, but then it would be a real job & not a hustle just when they need money, I would reccomend using them
Google should change their review star rating system! It’s fair to have a scale from -5 to 5 anything above zero is considered a positive review, I would give his place -5(Minus 5)below zero starts!Employees do not respond when you ask them something! You have to respect your question like 3 times for them to respond!The guy at the register always talk very low and always seems to like setting the the chair never saw him standing up to help clients or his co workers!They make you wait for no reason, I have rented fromThis place at least 8 times before I decide to store a review!Vehicles always dusty and have a good amount of dirt for you to get annoyed by!Erick outside also have attitude and want to convince you that (black dust and small derbies and the likes) are not considered (dirty), they charge me once like $5 for gas even though I filled up back to the same level given!They also charged me about $30 for no reason!Be aware always take photos of the vehicle you rent before and after use!And take photos of the fuel gauge!They will try to charge you whatever fees they want! I’m going to make a complaint on BBB as well!It seems like there is No upper managementSupervision or quality of work control!Once I returned a truck and the man saw me coming, we had eye contact and then instead of taking care of the client. He went to look at an accident for random vehicle cross a street! I had to wait like 4 minutes before another man handled the return process!Would try a different location next time and see how it goes!
This is the most ugly custumer service Ive ever receive in my life. They pay no attention at all to the custumers. The cashiers take for ever talking and playing around with the people hanging outside... You need help and they stay there sitting down. I am giving a one start only for this to be notice.👎👎👎👎👎
Staff was easy to work with. Plenty of vans available. Right by the 2 train and the 39 bus. My only issue is the time thats posted online isnt real. We rented for 1 day, we brought it back around 7pm and they were closed. Online it states 11pm. They have a drop box to leave the keys so it worked out. We called the next day to confirm the drop off worked and it did
Most of the staff is are arrogant and non-professional and addition the management there does nothing about all the guys that are hang out in front theres always people in front hanging out smoking weed trying to hustle a job or a dollar here and there I understand people need work but its bad business when you got a bunch of riffraff guys hanging outside pressuring you to take them with you for work management needs to address this immediately the place is not a hangout its a business establishment
Shodae Thomas is very disrespectful, unprofessional, rude and unhelpful!!! My family and i went to her for information about renting a small truck to move some furniture to Phillipsburg, NJ and she wouldnt look at us and her responses were all very careless and offer minimum information all while singing to music playing behind the register. She was very unfriendly and arrogant and treated other customers the same way. Will not be going to this location ever again!!!
Unprofessional and ghetto. There were men hanging in the front, clearly drunk/high and dirty looking who kept haggling my friend and I saying oh for $300 we will help you move and blah blah blah. They also kept hitting on us. That is so bad and unprofessional for a business!
Made an online reservation 48 hours ahead of time with EXPRESS dispatch to do everything online and without human interactions only to be told I STILL NEEDED TO WAIT IN LINE. No explanations. Rude customer service staff BERATING customers for asking why we still had to wait. Had the nerve to say “One customer has been here since 7:00AM. You need to wait.” It was 9:00.
This is the worst uhaul..they have no manners, especially the Spanish girl at thet front desk. Poor service, no customer service, no credibility. I used it once already and they kept using my information each time the driver I use there got a driving work. They use my name, my address my telephone number. Every time I call pretaining to the situation they tell me to hold and then they hung up. People becarful there or better yet use another uhaul company.
Wouldnt rent from this place again. Long story short my thing were up for auction and they priced everything in my unit, changed the locked and everything.. I ended up paying it before the auction date and gave them a month ahead.. I started moving things out.. I noticed my brand new coffee tables were completely scratched up and my lamp was broken.. I spoke with the ratchet manager... Brunilda Lawerance and she tells me no one been in my unit, a complete lie. Not realizing it was a new lock on the unit and I had too purchase the keys (I still have the keys for the unit in the small envelop). Then turns and says well you know where Im at all day.. The workers at the desk are great and respectable, but those two managers are just plain nasty.. I further the situation with corporate and waiting from them too get back too me.. Save yourself the headache
The truck was smelly. Had to buy an air freshener for the 3 day trip. I had no other option cause it was the only one available within a 50 mile radius from where we were moving. The truck run well but it was a gas guzzler - 8.4 mpg ON HIGH WAY. It rained during my trip and there were leaks in the cargo storage.

2022-03-16I did not have a good experience here only because returning the truck turned out to be move of a hassle than I should renting the truck. Now I got to u-haul which about 5 or 7 minutes to spare or 7 minutes despair only to walk up to the door and the ladies telling me no you have to return it online so I go online create a profile and the profile says you have nothing to return turn. To know I called the customer service and Im on hold for over an hour. Spoke to customer service they made a notation on the account and then transferred me to the department that can help me only to find out that the department couldnt help me just because my name wasnt on the rental for the u-haul even though I paid for the u-haul hole now the customer service will not be customer service but whatever department it was stated that I cant help you because youre not listed on the account. The lady couldnt help me because she told me after the fact that I cant help you because guess what youve already dropped off the key and you dont have possession on the vehicle I didnt know that I needed all of this in order to check the vehicle in online and nobody on the property said to me Hey you have to do this before you leave the property they just said oh you can go online and do the check in check in. very bad communication, horrible customer service very bad experience. unfortunately this is a necessity if youre moving. Be fore warned everybody off early Or hold until the next day.

2022-05-24I attempted to rent a 10’ truck today. I patiently waited for a representative. Three representatives working at the counter helping one customer ahead of me. When asked if I needed assistance I explained I was trying to use my phone to rent a vehicle as advertised but didn’t have my passport and lease agreement as requested on rental agreement. One of the three reps stated if that’s what the app is asking you that’s what you need. I asked if I rent thru them instead of the app do I still need a lease agreement and passport. The same female stated if that’s what they are asking you on the app that’s what we need. She was so worked up and so unprofessional I just wished them a good day and walked away. I have rented at haul many of times before thru out the years and never had to provide a lease agreement. Specially since I own my home. I’m heading to home depot now to rent one of their vehicles. If you can avoid this place please do. Save your self the inconvenience. Just got off the phone with customer support to relate my experience and to cancel my reservation. The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. 🤦♂️

2022-06-06Recently I needed the service of a U-Haul truck and thought it was convenient to stop by this location to take care of the matter. Great Customer Service Reps do play a major role in the growth and expansion of any legitimate business. In this case my experience with a customer service rep here was not so pleasant. I will simply save the details by telling the management of this location to carefully observe your staff, give people like Mr. Rudolph (whatever his last name is) some tips on how to be an effective customer service rep bad mood and attitude have no place in the work arena. Seriously for a man with attitude at the start of the day especially, is just not good for business. Upon returning the vehicle we dealt with Mr. Saadat Turpin in the parking lot and was just blown away with the pleasantry of his courteousness and I just could not believe these two men work for the same company. I gave 3 stars because of Mr. Rudolphs unpleasant behavior but really it should be a 5 because of Mr. Turpins awesome relation to customers. I trust the management of this U-Haul really take some time and re-evaluate employees like Rudolph and ensure that people like Mr. Turpin do get the appreciation they deserve for the excellent customer service they deliver. First time meeting Mr. Saadat. Turpin but TWO THUMBS UP FOR HES SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!

2022-03-22Hated the hassle from men outside looking for work. They were drinking and smoking early in the AM not a good look for the establishment. THE LADY who actually assisted my rental, Janice, friendly, knowledgeable and quick.

2021-12-15Made an online reservation for a moving truck for a few hours. The ladies behind the desk were super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We rented a truck without an issue. *TIP* if you want to rent dollies/ blankets you should get there early as possible as these things may not be available later in the day. When your done fold the blankets or you will be fined!!**VIP TIP* TAKE THEIR INSURANCE ! There are a lot of reckless drivers on the road and MOST private car insurance will NOT cover your rental for damages.Great service- friendly- highly recommend!

2021-12-16Takes way too long just to reach the cashier and/or get a rental. One person working with someone for more then several mins, the other doesn’t even know what’s in inventory. One guy working outside. Do better.

2021-10-06At first I was intimidated. I wasnt sure where to go because I was using mobile pick up. So I will say this. Use regular pick up. It is much faster and less complicated. The truck was clean and worked well. They are all automatic transmission with the option of manual transmission. The gear change indicator is where the speedometer is. I struggled to find it at first. Overall it was a new experience so their was a learning curve and the workers did assist much but I didnt have to deal with extra secret charges and that was great.
