The worst customer services. We rented the truck in person the day before and when we went to pick it up they told us it was cancel. We didn’t received any call and they sent us to anther location and nothing.
Need more staff point blank. Dude was working harder than a one legged man in a two foot race lol.

Have truck with full tank of gas at pickup..stop getting over on people with less than a half tank and the truck is return with more gas ..no reimbursement for the extra gas..very displeased with this policy truck pick up at Cambridge Heights Queens..customer service 👎🏾

Could have been better experience if the manager gave a courtesy call before giving truck away, not explaining contract and running off before dealing with a customer problem. Thank the associate for stepping up and taking care of the customers.
Not the friendliest place and the jury is still out as to the quality of the product as I stopped three times to tighten the lock on the hitch resting on the ball. They at least had my requested trailer ready to go.

Worst customer service. I was greeted with a nasty attitude like me showing up to rent a truck was an inconvenience to them. Rashell the customer service rep was rude with a nasty attitude. I will never use this location again. Plus when i asked if there was a military discount i was once again told with an attitude not any more we dont. Way to treat your customer Uhaul. Guess i wont be using your truck for my PCS move.
This review is specifically for Turell. He was knowledgeable, helpful, efficient, and pleasant. I asked the same questions a couple of times, but he was very patient and took the time to explain. He also helped us when we had an issue adjusting the mirrors and came back outside again to spray air freshener in the truck since the last renter smoked. Thank you, Turell!By the way, we originally secured a car at the Jamaica Douglas Ave location, and they gave the complete opposite in terms of service. They didn’t have our truck and did not help us. If you need a UHAUL in this area, go to this one in Cambria Heights. They have more trucks and better service.
I grew up in St. Albans and this particular Uhaul always gives great service. I had some drama with the truck the 1st time and the staff quickly rectified the discrepancy. 2nd time in the same week different client pick up and drop off was smooth and uneventful.

Honestly, if you had to rent a U-Haul and this place wasnt out of the way, I would recommend it. You cant leave your car in a parking lot but there are plenty of parking spaces on the streets without meters. Just pay attention to the road signs. I do have to stress that they pay very close attention to every dings or scratches on the vehicles. You can see it from all the stickers indicating that a damage has been accounted for and when you return the vehicle, The worker will definitely thoroughly search the vehicle for additional damage.But good on them. I left the parking lot with a very full gas tank and a decently running U-Haul 10 footer. You know they take care of their vehicles here.

The very opinionated uhaul representative was extremely rude and had the nerve to embarrass me in front of a friend of mine and then doubled charge me. Now Im working out this issue with my bank to clear things up. The person they have working there would stop me or anyone I know from going there!

When we returned the vehicle,the miles was incorrect . We only traveled to Lynbrook and returned to Cambria Heights . Apparently, the person that logged the miles in prior to us picking it up, input the wrong miles . When we returned the truck it was off by 50 miles. This caused the bill to double. We went inside to the cashier and explained the situation to her. The mistake we made was not checking the miles initially . The cashier decided to check into this further and found the error. She was able to refund the money and give us a new bill . Thanks for taking the time to look further.
If ur moving and need boxes or even a storage unit or need to rent a truck for a day. Uhaul is the place for U.

Spent a lot of unnecessary time here. Staff was friendly but the lines were way too long for 3 people to be working behind the counter. They gave me the keys to a truck that was blocked in and parked behind two other vehicles. Had to go back inside to have someone get the other vehicles out of the way. Felt like they slightly overcharged me (over the estimate I was quoted) in the end but I only needed the truck for less than 2 hours and the whole experience took longer than it needed to so I was over it and didnt make an issue about it.

I think the price was a little high, $80 for 3 hours.
Theres a big difference when people exceed your expectations and when they simply meet them. The stark difference is when were disappointed by them. The Cambria Heights location exceeded my expectations because the truck I ordered from the app, was ready, practically brand new with low miles and a frigid a/c, and truly in under an hour from the time I went on the app.It was simply the best in & out experience Ive had after decades of renting uhauls around the country.

2022-05-28The young lady at the front desk needs to retake the customer service class because the attitude that we received from her was ridiculous. We requested to speak with a manager and got a I dont know when shell be here but shes not to to be able to help you. Its a shame we had to contact corporate just to receive some customer service

2021-10-16Horrible, to get anyone on line it about 30-40 min there are three cash register and only person in attendance the lines are long if you go to purchase you have to weight about 40-50 minutes two days ago I was in there to purchase sling wrapped after waiting so long to be told that the were out of stock. They were expecting a shiptment the next day.I called to find if the had received the shipment and was told that yes the were 12 in stock of the three sizes I immediately went to the store in 20 minutes after waiting another 30 minutes to be told they were non in stock and that all i can tell you

2020-10-01The worst customer service experience from this location.......their policy is bullying.....corporate needs to reevaluate how to speak with customers. Corporate policy show prejudice within the black community. In all the years Ive done business with company, I am ashamed I have wasted my time and money.
